8/17/2021. 19:56.
.....So I put my two weeks in today.
I thought I would regret it the second I told my manager but I didn’t. I was happy. I’m excited to move on. But I’m scared. My last day officially will be August 30th.
I’m moving back in with my mom in October. I’m... both excited and not excited at the same time, for reasons I’m sure you can guess. I’m excited because I’ll have my own space again, be able to watch tv, use the kitchen, see my cats, and be able to use the gym that’s in that complex. I’m not excited because I’ll be paying rent for a chaotic home life, and it basically feels like I’m buying the decline of my mental health. Since moving away from that place, I have been much happier as a person just as a whole. But I just don’t have it in me to keep working like this, especially in a job whose values don’t align with my own and especially in a job where I can’t look the way I want to. No dyed hair, no piercings, a uniform that - in my opinion - is far too strict. Shoes can’t be multiple colors, it needs to be all white or all black? Come on.
I don’t live to work, and honestly I shouldn’t need to overwork to live. And if I do, then I’m going to make sure I can express who I am while doing it. We’re all different, and I think companies should recognize and accept that, especially with the new generations.
After all, we are in the age of aquarius.
I can’t remember; were you ever into zodiac signs Vagabond?

An Open Letter
You told me that you were having a difficult time as you were affected on how I was behaving lately. You also asked me if I was still angry with you. I said no. Immediately. And turned my back at you because the tears were threatening to flow from eyes again.
I said no because I really was not angry with you. Maybe that night of October 2nd, when I was pouring my heart out to you, I was. A bit. But after that, I was no longer feeling angry. I was hurt, though. Big time. Deeply. Immensely. By the words you told me.
The first few days after that night, I feared that the only thing I would hear from you were the words you told me. On repeat. So, if you ever noticed that I did not purposely talk to you, or not look at you when you were talking to me and my eyes were always downcast trying to avoid your gaze, it was because of that. I could still hear them ringing in my ears. I think I would not be able to ever forget them.
I knew that you were only doing your job. I knew that you were only looking out for me. I knew that you loved me that what was why you said those things to me. I knew then. I know now.
But it still hurts me.
There are a lot of things that I have to go through in this life. More bad, terrible, and sad circumstances that is why I need to be tough - mentally, emotionally, physically, in every way. I am aware that I should be applying everything that I learned after studying Psychology. This is a jungle we live in, after all. And I need to be fit to survive this chaotic world.
However, I think you forgot that I am human, too.
I feel sadness, loneliness, and pain. Something that is natural for me. Something that happens to you.

Matt and i agreed on a decision to move from his dad’s house to my uncle’s house. it’s a bit better here because we don’t have to deal with our roommate’s smoking and tantrums. plus we’d have our own rooms and clean kitchen. the only thing is this house was built in the eighties and the walls are so thin you could hear a mouse fart. its also hotter and drier up here. and my uncle is chill just not as chill as Matt’s dad. although we talked about it and were on the same page about moving, i’m starting to think we might be more comfortable back at his dad’s house. i don’t know how to make a decision anymore. i over think and get scared. i think ill talk to Matt about it tonight over the phone. this though is not the big life decision i was talking about in my last entry. that’s a whole other beast. moving out of state while my mom is still getting situated in her new place and Matt and i have no money. my car wont be able to survive the terrain in the new state. and i’m still working through my emotions about my dad’s death. fuck i miss my dad. if only he were still here.

Earth Logic: the turning point

For a long time now, we have been talking about sustainable design, about how both independent designers and luxury brands could coexist with an ethical and low-impact production process, but the measures taken so far have not been enough; however, many difficulties remain to be addressed, the world is shouting out for support and few are really listening.

The lockdown of society as we know it allows a lot of time to reflect, particularly in fashion circles. In an interview with Dezeen magazine, the famous and influential trend forecaster, Li Edelkoort, called it a quarantine on consumption that has a crippling effect on our economy and society but eventually provides a blank page for a fresh start.
The question is how, once self-isolation and fear fall, this temporary moratorium on development will be used to correct the path of the fashion industry that emits and exploits carbon. We can not proceed along this path of unchecked overproduction, pollution, and human suffering.
This is something that the scholars' Kate Fletcher and Mathilda Tham are well aware of. In their paper, Earth Logic Fashion Action Study Plan, they wrote: The time span of 10 years is the same as the time of a child at education. One-eighth of most people's lives, or ten annual corporate reports. Dream of what you, your family, your culture, your workplace can do in the next 10 years. Every moment is going to count. Their case circles around the notion that the best way to eliminate greenhouse emissions and bring an end to overproduction and waste cycles is to envision a whole new paradigm that places Earth's needs ahead of those of industrial development. In the post-Covid 19 eras, this seems to be a bit more workable. We place the world before the industry as a progressive notion that the well-being and survival of our planet Earth take priority over business interests, they write. The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the possibility of disrupting the status quo. It seems like anything is possible now. This disruption is a lifeline for the industry and an opportunity to revive our activities and change direction on the basis of evidence and facts.

Tu me manques
You’re missing from me
It’s been exactly a week since we parted ways and I miss you. I don’t think of you all day anymore, but you’re consistently there - in every corner of my thoughts and actions. I’ve been trying so hard to move on and let acceptance do its course.
But I miss you.
Especially at night when my mind roams free.
At night when I feel the most alone.
And when I used to feel your presence always.
I miss you.

Entry 6.
For exactness' sake, I'll write something quick about the Blangonga I was told about a few days ago, although this is not my main point today.

What can I say? It's a pretty imposing beast, compared with most of the other Monsters I've seen in the mountain so far.
I honestly expected a challenging hunt after what the villagers told me (my retired friend repelled it in the past, without killing it), but maybe it was too tired to leave again, or too weak because of its past fights... Either way I defeated it without too much trouble.
No, what kept my mind busy today is something more... Wyvern-like. A Tigrex, as they call it; come back in the area for easy food. Not saying that its size and jaws scared me – after all, no matter how much the villagers attempted to talk me out of hunting it with the light armor I'm wearing, I won, and only at the cost of a few Mega Potions – but it is said to have been the cause of my memory deficiency from the other day.
How?... By making me fall?... As far as I know, I've never had any injury on my head deep enough to have made me forget so much. And I swear I saw this Monster's silhouette, before passing out in the cold snow.
No,... it is what happened before the Tigrex that's pitch black.

Exploring Genre
Get Out Official Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzfpyUB60YY
The horror movie genre has the aim to touch audience emotions such as fright, terror, or disgust. Horror films commonly have an unsettling theme, such as a serial killer on the loose, and "shocking" scenes designed to startle viewers. Most films include certain characteristics that help them achieve their "dark" objectives.
Primarily, the mood set in the beginning of the trailer for Get Out makes the film appear as if it is a romantic comedy. Not long after, scenes within the trailer reflect the eerie atmosphere; establishing a frightening mood.
The setting of a movie is crucial in establishing its genre. Horror movies are full of scary places. In this case, the movie is set primarily in a big old house in a rural area, miles from any other property. Feelings of isolation and helplessness are emphasized through the setting of the film.
The trailer also uses sound to establish the genre of the film, including "creepy" sound elements, the beat, pacing, and instruments used in a musical score help establish tension, and even scenes set in dead silence, which makes the anticipation of what comes next more hair-raising. Music can create moods and elicit emotions. The music used in the trailer is creepy, and is used to accentuate the actions seen on the screen.
Lastly, this trailer uses suspense and a fear of death, creating anticipation that something bad will happen, but not knowing when it will occur.

The Get Out trailer conforms to most horror genre conventions, especially in the trailer so we are able to identify the fact that it is a horror movie almost instantly.

Periyar National Park. The only tiger reserve in Kerala and home to many endangered species. Though it's a tiger reserve, but it's the best elephant sanctuary in India. Walking tours, elephant rides and night patrols are offered through the forest by tourism department, still the best way to see the reserve is to take a boat ride on the lake. If you are lucky, you may experience sightseeing for elephant & tiger. Early morning rides are preferred as animals do visit the lake at that time. Most of the time you will find wild life birds and wild buffalo. . . . . . . . #entry6 #travelsketchbymaitri #keralablogexpress #travelblogger #travelholic #periyartigerreserve #periyar #thekkady #thekkadydiaries #kerala #keralagodsowncountry #keraladiaries https://www.instagram.com/p/BxkJcZolgX3/?igshid=k826k10c7tgh

6 Reasons Why People’s Approval Shouldn’t Matter
If you want to live a life that is inspiring, fun, adventurous and meaningful, it’s going to entail letting go of your need for approval from others.
Here are 6 reasons why others’ approval shouldn’t matter to your life:
1. It’s Not Their Life
It’s as simple as that. This is your life to live. At the end of the day you are the only person who needs to approve of your choices. Besides, it’s not their life. They have their own things to focus on and worry about. You can even remind them to mind their own business and concentrate on their own life, while you focus on yours.
2. They Don’t Know What’s Best For You
Nobody will ever be as invested in your life as you. Only you know what is best for you, and that entails learning from your own choices. The only way you will ever truly learn is through making your own decisions, taking full responsibility for them, and that way if you do fail, at least you can learn from it wholeheartedly, as opposed to blame-shifting it onto somebody else.
3. What’s Right For Someone Else May Be Completely Wrong For You
It’s important to recognize that someone’s opinion is often based on what they would do. This alone is the problem. What is best for somebody else, can be the worst thing for you. What one person considers garbage can be another person’s treasure. We are all so unique, thus, only you know what is right for you.
4. Be Independent Of The Good Opinions of Others
Spiritual teacher Deepak Chopra writes:
“If you’re really spiritual, then you should be totally independent of the good and the bad opinions of the world… you should have faith in yourself.”
This is one of the wisest teachings I know. You see, often the people who give you their opinions (and even commands!) love you and have your best interest at heart. They are telling you what they believe is best for you.
5. You’re The One Stuck With The End Result
In life, you are the one stuck with the consequences of your decisions. For example, if someone suggests you buy some stocks, but you just don’t feel like it’s the right choice, you are the only one who will live the consequences. If the stock falls and you lose a lot of money, you are the one that will have to live with the fact that you didn’t follow your inner call. When people give you their suggestions or even orders, there is no risk for them. They don’t have to live with your choices, but you do.
6. Your Inner Guidance Matters
When you listen to the call from within—your deep desires, yearnings, and dreams—you end up living a fulfilling life. As Joseph Campbell famously teaches: “follow your bliss” as this always takes you to the place you are supposed to be. And only you know what that inner call is. It is better to live a fulfilling life that you can approve of than living a life for somebody else.

Rainy day🌧
Hi everyone, this is Lysander. I think this is my first time posting here but I just wanted to say that nothing special happened. We just invited our friends, Helena and Demetrius. Those two also got married when we got married. Hermia and Helena are inseparable. I had to go through Helena to get to Hermia.
Anyways, it is raining right now and we cannot go out. What to do today? Hmmmm.... i have an idea. I’ll just cuddle with Hermia and watch our favourite movie. We will watch as the rain drop little by little on our window. Eating chocolates together until we are full. That is so unhealthy, haha but just for today, I swear. So I’ll say goodbye for now, sorry, today was a boring day so is my blog.
See you later, everyone. Au revoir!

Rehearsing the Canada program
Today is Monday and we started rehearsing the music Sarah and I picked out for Canada. Everyone is loving what we chose so far! Everyone is very reminiscent when they hear their favorite songs again. It is also proving to be easier to learn the first time, even for the people who have never sand it. I think that is because there are peers and people next to them that are willing to help them out. I’m very excited to see how they react to the rest of the music we chose.
