Where the play comes alive is in Gielgud’s story and Gatiss’s performance. He sounds like Gielgud but captures something beyond imitation: the pained spirit of a great actor grappling with the ageing process – the old guard, reluctantly, giving way to the new. Gielgud admits to his envy of Burton and shows his insecurity as a director. We see the fear his homosexuality brings in an era when it was criminalised; a hotel room conversation with a sex worker carries great, subtle power. While Gielgud’s inner complications are slowly but searingly explored, much of what surrounds him feels emotionally sterile.

Wetteinsatz

"Ich denke mit dem normalen Wetteinsatz ist es hier nicht mehr getan.", sagte Cotta und kam mit großen Schritten auf Trevor zu.

Der ballte die Hände zu Fäusten. Das Adrenalin des Rennens, die Wut über Cottas dreistes Überholmanöver und der Frust über den zweiten Platz ließen ihn rot sehen.

"Fick dich!", spuckte er aus und versuchte den anderen so davon zu warnen, näher zu kommen. Dann wäre er ihm vermutlich an die Gurgel gegangen.

Cotta lachte. "Ganz wie du meinst.", sagte er. Dann machte er zwei schnelle Schritte auf Devlin zu, überraschte den anderen.

Trevor wich zurück, stand bald mit dem Rücken zur Wand. Cotta türmte über ihm, die Augen voller Feuer. Eine Herausforderung. Plötzlich war er sich nicht mehr sicher, ob er Cotta eine reinhauen oder ihn doch lieber küssen wollte.

"Statt der Kiste Bier bekommt der Gewinner des nächsten Rennens vom Verlierer einen Blowjob.", schlug Cotta vor. Trevor schluckte schwer.

Cotta kam noch näher, drängte ihn geradezu gegen die Betonwand. Trevor konnte Abgase, Motoröl und Schweiß riechen. Sein Herz schlug ihm bis zum Hals.

"Dann mach dich schon mal drauf gefasst für mich auf die Knie zu gehen.", sagte er und gratulierte sich innerlich für seine feste Stimme.

Cotta packte ihn mit einer Hand am Kind, kam seinem Gesicht noch näher. Jetzt konnte er auch Cottas Atem spüren. Frisch und leicht minzig. Trevors Blick fiel unwillkürlich auf Cottas Lippen.

"Wir werden ja sehen, wer hier für wen auf die Knie geht.", flüsterte Cotta. Erst als er sich noch diesen Worten mit der Zungenspitze über die Lippen leckte, kehrte Trevors Blick zu Cottas Augen zurück. Das Feuer war durch ein amüsiertes Funkeln ergänzt worden. Ertappt.

Ein Gong ertönte. Zeit sich auf den Weg zu machen.

"Viel Glück. Möge der bessere Fahrer gewinnen.", sagte Cotta, ließ seine Hand nach unten wandern, bis zwischen Trevors Beine. Er drückte einmal zu.

Zu seiner eigenen Überraschung war er hart. Ein Stöhnen konnte er gerade noch unterdrücken.

An der Tür drehte sich Cotta noch einmal um, winkte, warf ihm eine Kusshand zu. Trevor biss die Zähne zusammen. Dem arroganten Arsch würde er es schon zeigen!

¿ Como es la relación de Gwendy con su tía Gwen ?

¿ En esta línea del tiempo Devlin es hijo de Gwen y Kevin ?

La relación de Gwendy con Gwen es como Rook Ben con Ben. Es su fan, aunque no la ve siempre y hablan, tienen una buena relación.

Y sí, Devlin es hijo de Gwen y Kevin pero se supone que es solo hijo biologico de Kevin.

Por eso sus ojos son de distinto color...

O al menos eso pensaban. Es una historia que no conte porque habia cosas que no encajaban pero ya hice algunos cambios y Aggregor como Servantis, altero los recuerdos de Kevin, Gwen y más personas para que Kevin volviera a ser malo y poder ayudarlo a secuestrar Anoditas y así él volverse poderoso. (Aggregor salio de Null Void gracias a los Rooters antes de ser capturados, él no conocia que sus recuerdos fueron alterados y en si los planes de los Rooters pero sabía que habían alterado los recuerdos de Kevin para sus planes, sus paradero era desconocido).

Se suponia que era hijo de Helen en un transcurso donde Gwen y Kevin se separaron.

La Magistrata le quito su placa de plomero por lo que paso el los Rooters. Justo en el viaje por carretera que tienen Kevin, Gwen, Ben y Rook es cuando Kevin desaparece. Cuando Ben tiene a Gwendy pocos meses ya habia nacido Devlin (ambos tienen la misma edad porque Gwendy nacio muy pronto). En si, después Kevin volvio con Gwen teniendo a Devlin pero despues de que Gwendy tiene como 3-5 años Kevin se muestra como el malo. E incluso Aggregor engaña a Rook y Ben de que ella no es su hija.

Si, hay pequeños cambios con los shorts comics. Como los diseños de algunos personajes y relaciones. Esto es claro en la boda de Rook y Ben en Revonnah, muchos personajes no deberían estar ahi y faltan algunos. Casi nadie estuvo en esa boda pero si en la boda en la tierra años después.

Si te preguntas porque Devlin tiene los ojos azules es porque provienen de la mamá de Gwen.
