Everybody shut up I am having a vision. The 141 stopping off at Soap's parents because there are top secret files he hid there. He's very cagey giving them directions and they are getting increasingly confused as their truck is pulling past wrought iron gates and into some tourist destination of sorts, driving past stables and a little crop of buildings to what looks like a manor.

game theory or whatever: it's established in earthbound that time traveling with the phase distorter is not possible for organic bodies, i'm assuming they'd get spaghettified or zapped into goo or something. hence why the kids have to be uploaded into robot bodies. porky timetravels with no regard for this natural law - but presumably that's because something unnatural and horrifying has happened to him. through giygas' powers or weird alien technology or god knows what, he's become an immortal purple-blue human flesh entity that can timetravel freely because he is immune to death, okay, okay.

what about all the people he brought to nowhere in mother 3. like alright, i prefer to assume the tech used by m3 porky is far more advanced than the dinky phase distorter andonuts & the mr saturns cobbled together - so porky's just able to do what andonuts couldn't, and warp human bodies around with no catch. but. if you assume it's still not possible, there's basis to whip up some harrowing theories / headcanons here. did he biologically tamper with every human being he brought to nowhere? are they all now genetically cursed in their blood and bones with something akin to whatever the hell is wrong with porky?? or did he upload their consciousnesses into android bodies so immaculately human-like, they're all none the wiser??? are pigmasks & DCMC & the item guy & every unnamed schmuck you stumble upon timetravel-mutant abominations against science. or perhaps eerily convincing robots with human minds inside.
