i never post on here but i have so much in my head about twd: the ones who live i honestly feel like i might explode.
i know all anyone really wants to talk about from episode 2 is That Part of their reunion (which is fair, don't ask me how many times I rewatched it), but now, the part that keeps playing over and over again in my head is this tiny bit:

and i just need to say, danai and andy are so insanely talented bc this clip?? this clip—short as it is, with not a world of dialogue—says SO much about where our two characters are at.
first, rick. i watch this clip and i think holy shit, yeah, that is a broken man. andy does a masterful job at displaying through his eyes and the way he carries himself the extent of the psychological damage and anguish within rick, not to mention the guilt he carries. you can see the gears turning in his head as he reminds himself how he basically gave up on her. how he gave up on himself. how he told himself that he was done, he was never seeing her again, and let himself fold into the CRM. i think it's safe to say he hates himself for his choice to move on. he's utterly crushed by it. like look at him, he can't even meet her eyes!!
and michonne? she sees it. once the euphoria of I Found You has begun to wear off and she lets herself really take him in, she immediately clocks that this is not the same rick that "died" on the bridge. not the rick that led alexandria. not the rick that got them out of terminus. and definitely not the rick that stood up to the saviors. in fact, the last time she saw this version of him, it was right after the first time they ever lost to negan, and that horrifies her, because if that rick is back, then something truly terrible has happened. the look on her face in the clip says a million things, but most loudly, she's wondering, understandably and devastatingly, "my love, what have they done to you?"
the final clue for her that her rick is gone, at least for now, is their next interaction. since forever, both of their instincts anytime they've been told that something bad is coming their way have been to either hoof it for the safety of their family or stand back to back and dispatch the threat. it's the panic in his voice, the sheer desperation as he pleads with her to stand down instead and hide herself after she suggests they go that tells her she has no idea what he's been through or what she's in for now that she's in the shit with him. and even now, if the trailer for E03 has been any indication, she still fails to grasp the danger they're both in. i know what people online have been saying, but she's not being careless, this is michonne we're talking about, she just doesn't understand how careful she really has to be. and then throw jadis and her bitch ass bowl cut into the mix and suddenly a whole new threat looms over alexandria and the commonwealth that ultimately all comes back on rick too? the guilt he now has to face for not only dragging his wife into his mess, but through jadis, also his daughter and all his friends?? and if he finds out now that he has a son too, then there's even more guilt??????
i could go on for hours but i won't. all i'll say is that we're definitely in for such an emotional ride tomorrow. and really there's no one else i trust more than andy and danai to deliver that for us.

Eventually either you'll mess up or he'll get impatient.
He pins you to a wall or a console leaning in close and reveals his plans.

He puts you in an even more revealing uniform and has you either sit on his lap or on the floor next to his chair.
When you're not on the bridge he's constantly touching you; holding you in his arms, groping you in (fun) inappropriate places, and using your lap as his own personal pillow.

He forces you to mind-meld with him often that way he can explore your thoughts and feelings.
You're always left tired and overstimulated. He walks away with an overwhelming sense of euphoria.

When there is nothing left to test he takes you back to his quarters.
He has you dressed in traditional Vulcan koma and teaches you his language.
After that he treats you more like a mate; holding your hand, having you sleep in the same bed, and doesn't meld with you as forcibly.

See I personally don’t agree that the sentiment around the show is mostly negative. The amount of comments I see begging for season 3 on a regular basis always amazes me. I think a lot of the shows harshest critics were the ones that were there right on Sunday night foaming at the mouth for the next episode. I personally am a big euphoria fan but have been hoping since season2 ended that at the very least Z would not return. Sometimes you gotta learn to walk away when you’re on top and I personally would like to see her do something else. So even tho I’m exited by the idea of its cancellation that doesn’t mean I’m a detractor of the show.
eh i’ve seen little to no one speak about it hugely positively (let alone at all) in like a year including people i would watch it with/talk about it excitedly in person.
the main thing is the sheer length between the release of the seasons. their original target audience are now past the target audience range and it doesn’t seem to be creating new hype/attraction from a new audience to allow it to bridge that gap. 3 years is wayyyyy to long between releases with literally nothing in between imho

No idea what this gif is from, but I couldn't resist. While ultimately I do think it was part of the writer's insensitivity to polyamory to have Halsin be relationship averse, and then turn his epilogue content into fan service — I really like aromantic Halsin expressing love in his own way and not wanting "a relationship" or labels.

I don't remember what's being said in this scene, but the romance in the movie Snow Cake is a Very Small part of the movie, but Alan Rickman's character does have a complicated relationship with Carrie-Ann Moss's character — a win for "fucking that old man." The main character of the film is dealing with life after having assaulted (and accidentally killed) the drunk driver who hit and killed his child. He is also present / indirectly responsible (but feels greatly responsible) for the death of a hitchhiker, which brings him to Wawa, Ontario where he meets the hitchhiker's mother, a disabled (autistic?) woman played by Sigourney Weaver. It's a really heavy movie that I only saw once but the layers of it and the fleeting comforts and difficult intimacy of it made this a good gif for what's going on with Étoile and poor Zevlor.

Another Sense8 gif. The woman in the middle, Kala, had a lot of anxiety about being in love with the man on the left Wolfgang, while living a life that was leading her to be with her betrothed, the man on the right, Rajan. This is also an extremely small sideplot of this show that was hastily wrapped up in the movie / final "episode." It was kind of silly but tbh I enjoyed this particular "unrealistic" resolution where Rajan was willing to explore what love would look like (even initially in an extremely sexual sense) with Wolfgang if it meant Kala's happiness / not losing her heart. A fair, if inaccurate, comparison to be made for how in my primary canon-compliant state for Étoile, I'd ship them with werewolf!Komira but leave Locke to his fate in the House of Healing; though I'd imagine the three of them would have very enthusiastic joy and supportive love in other au's.

I wanted to find a gif of love of someone/thing that was not completely human for He Who Was. I first thought of Meet Joe Black, and the few surreal moments, and the moment when his love interest asks him to stay, but I couldn't find a gif of the exact moment I wanted. I'd only seen The Time Traveller's Wife movie once and it was straighter than I remembered, the dialogue in the gifs I found was all wrong for Étoile and He Who Was' dynamic. I just wanted reference to the waiting, to the loss, to the not knowing if your supernatural love would return. Oh well. Instead I was looking up characters described as masochists (intended for He Who Was, but I guess observations can be made about Étoile which would be ... entirely correct), and found Marko from The Lost Boys, like the rest of them. In the scene I chose, they're initiating a (the?) protagonist into their vampire gang, jumped from a bridge and hanging to the beams while a train rushes overhead, scaring their initiate and having the time of their lives. I think He Who Was has a manic excitable laugh in his euphoria and that he enjoys the presence of danger, negotiated and known not to be a sincere threat against him and his holy missions. He and Étoile have a lot of fun in the limitations of a relationship across planes.

one thing that sticks w me from euphoria (i’m going to be nice to sam levinson for a millisecond) was rue’s bridge episode where ali is like “stop w that good person/bad person shit there’s no such thing, a bad person is what you call yourself when you no longer want to try not to do bad things” bc everytime i consider calling myself a bad person i know think “ok well i did a shitty thing. that was a shitty thing to do so i feel shitty. doesn’t necessarily make me a bad person” like it seems to be a deflection of my past actions and attributing it to some innate error of my being rather than the fact i’m human and sometimes make crappy choices but all ppl do that we constantly make mistakes and you have to make some to grow

It's a little bit longer anon: she went from M&M to Euphoria bridge episodes to NWH, to promoting M&M while doing NWH, to Euphoria (where she played an important role not only as the lead but as a producer that kept Sam on task plus she was involved in the music too), to promoting SJ2 and Dune while shooting Euphoria, to NWH press to Euphoria press, to Challengers to Dune 2, and this doesn't include all her work for her brand deals: Lancôme, Bulgari, Valentino, Smart Water, SquareSpace, Louis Vuitton (those deals give her the freedom to be more selective with her film & tv projects). Her whole month of February was dedicated to her brand deals and award shows. People let the girl breathe if she wants to. We know how many artists suffer breakdowns when they don't schedule some nice breaks. Hollywood is a tough industry

My opinion: Nobody else could play Villanelle and Eve like Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh but...Jodie is 29 and Sandra is 51. The 21-22 age difference is kinda disgusting. I guess an older actress could've been cast for Villanelle, or a younger actress for Eve, but then again, nobody else could play these characters. What do you think?

I agree with you that nobody else could have played these characters. Not the other actresses that read or tried out for the part of Villanelle and certainly not Maya Rudolph as Eve. Sometimes the planets and stars align and the coffee is brewed just so and the music hits the perfect note and you just get it right. Sandra Oh IS Eve. Jodie Comer IS Villanelle. I can't conceive of any other actress playing those parts. Accept no substitutes.
The world is full of beautiful and talented and capable actresses who could have been Eve and Villanelle. No question. Maybe Sandra decides she doesn't want to spend months on end flying from L.A. to London. Maybe Jodie decides not to fight the odds to be cast as Villanelle and tells, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, "Thanks, but no thanks." I don't get what's so "disgusting" about the age difference between the two leads. Younger women can't be attracted to older women or something? If it bothers you, then stick to Luke Jennings' books where Eve and Villanelle are closer in age. For the purposes of Waller-Bridge, she chose to go with Oh and Comer based on their chemistry together and not their age gap. There are many reasons why it shouldn't have worked, but none of them matter. What does matter is it did work. PWB, BBC America, and Sid Gentle Productions paired a young White woman from Liverpool with a heavy accent with a mature Korean woman from Canada and living in Los Angeles as an Englishwoman, and said, "Make magic happen." They made the magic. PWB's brilliant writing got the ball rolling, but it was the awesome abilities of Comer and Oh as the thespians who made Killing Eve's heart beat so strongly that carried the show through four years of churning through head writers, directors, actors, scripts, dialogue and plots of wildly varying quality. Sandra wins a Golden Globe. Jodie scores a BAFTA and an Emmy. The show garners near-universal praise and acclaim for a brilliant first season. The momentum slows in the second season but remains high with Comer's Villanelle emerging as the show's breakout sensation while Oh plugs away in a secondary, but still significant role. Along comes Season Three and with it a noticeable and precipitous drop in momentum and quality. Oh is stuck muddling along in a reduced role that only reacts to the actions of others and precipitates nothing, and is so overlooked and ignored by the head writer Eve is completely written out of an entire episode despite being the titular character. Comer sleepwalks through the third season only coming alive briefly in the award-bait solo flex for Villanelle and random moments throughout.

Season Three is lesser Killer Eve with both actresses left stranded by muddled and unfocused writing as well as the unnecessary introduction of superfluous characters and dead-end plots, but it's brilliant compared to the shitshow that was Season Four, the one season that doesn't require a deep dive because it gives me a fucking headache to say any more about it over than fuck Laura Neal. Yet despite the drop-off of Season Three and the catastrophe that was Season Four, at no point in Killing Eve's brilliant rise and graceless fall can the blame be placed on Oh or Comer going through the motions and phoning it in. They TRIED hard. Even in the moments when Jodie seemed checked out, she was still balling hard and acting her ass off. Both were again nominated in the lackluster two seasons for Best Lead Actress in a Drama only to lose to Zendaya for Euphoria in 2021, an outcome that may play out again in 2022 next month at the Emmys. Who cares? Awards are nice little ego strokes for the winners and help them maximize their earnings potential, but they are lousy measuring sticks for what's really exceptional and what's not. Win or lose, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer remain the saving grace of Killing Eve. Nobody else could have made the magic in quite the way they did.

This was written the summer before season 2 aired.
Gonna talk about my lowering expectations and my wariness or worries for Season 2 of Euphoria.
These are just my personal opinions and speculations. This is long oops, buckle in.

This season is about to be so dark and a bit more gritty, less pretty effects but still great visuals and edits. I look forward to that I just hope it doesn't turn off too many fans. I saw a lot of people did not enjoy the specials for their lack of glitter and their blunt honesty. The dialogue is needed especially because not only Rules but all of these teens have terrible communication skills. The specials were honestly amazing and a great step into this more realistic aspects of a very complicated love story. I hope we can continue this line of realism and more perspectives or at least Rue talking about other characters perspectives. I would actually love to see Leslie, her mom, and things from her side of the story.
We all know it will be dark but my fear is that its going to be a trauma dump with poor writing, and no room for breathe. I know Sam has about like 5 different projects going on so I hope he took or takes his time with this script. But, after Malcom and Marie I'm a bit worried because he is going to have to go into uncharted new territory. Especially with these newer characters, I know HBO/A24 euphoria casting is looking for a stripper or two which has me a bit shook. I wonder how far they are going to push this show in the limits of wild but realistic teenage years. Personally even at 25 have never been to a strip club but I do know people who started stripping/dancing at 18. Either during our senior year of highschool or their freshman year of college. Sam being a cis white man is going to have to do his research and talk to people in order to not write a character like that in a damaging light. Which I hope doesn't happen because I'm pro adult dancer with transparency about that industry and others like it. Someone does need to spell out realistic consequences of joining in those industries at a young adult age, but it needs to be done correctly. I don't know if Sam will be the right person for that but only time will tell.

I have the same worries with the introduction of more poc cast and specifically black characters. Again time will tell and I cannot judge something entirely that I have not read or seen.
In general with Sam's writing i hope that any input that the cast has with their characters and the storylines is taken into consideration. I know this was done with the bridge episodes and season 1 but, sometimes studios can loom over talent when something is so successful. With all the awards, acclaim, and criticism I hope that peoples voices are still being heard and listened to. It would be a disservice to HBO to force expectations that could hurt the shows quality. *glares in last season of game of thrones*
While I'd love for this season to focus on anyone other than Jason Bateman Jr. the show is a drama and eventually Nathan will have to surface at some point. Rmfe.

I think there definitely need to be something where the on hand psychology liaison works out a plan for dismantling the Nate is just a fixer upper thing going on. I'm usually fine and let people ship what they ship but seeing so many abuse apologist sends off alarms in my mind. I realize it has partially to do with Jacob being attractive, which is also a great point the show is making pretty people can be bad too. But, it makes sense why this show is not geared for kids/young teens because the point just flew over theirs and even a lot of adults heads. I can only think that he will not be written as a complete villain because truth be told he is not entirely evil. He is a scared little boy in a grown man's body who needs therapy and real weighted consequences. He might not get either of those things and we just see him go off into the world, that is scary but real.
I'm aware that all of these characters could and likely will make turns for the worst. All teenagers and adults make mistakes, sometimes damaging ones. But, since some of these characters are trying to get into college I think that needs to be taken into account with their stories. Unless Nate doesn't plan on going to college it is unrealistic for him to be acting a whole fool the entire season. So I hope we don't get a over the top Joker character because senior year you kind of don't have time to fuck your senior year up unless you actively try to. At least in my experience. Also for the love of Jesus I don't want him and Jules to be anything. Even if he has feelings I need it to be plainly written out that its twisted and one sided because he is emotionally manipulating both her and Maddy.

Our time with certain characters is either running out this upcoming season or will fade. I know McKay might not come back or will be a background character. I actually think that is smart so the story isn't bogged down with irrelevant characters but, i hope the storyline and Rue or Nate's story doesn't suffer because of this. With the introduction of new characters the focus could go anywhere with this new season.
Maddy has the tape and her limbo of a breakup with Nate to worry about. If she uses it against Jules in favor of Nate, imma have to hope karma bites her in the ass.
Kat has her stalker and I'm terrified where they will go with her storylinr. I hope the writer does show the more negative aspects of camming, as well as, the effects it can/would have on a minor doing that. Because in the moment it is fun....and then you find yourself conscious of the decision you've made and with whom. The very serious legal ramifications that exist as well should you get caught. But, i really don't want them to girlboss Kat for being an underage person making money that way without any scope of what she's getting into. That would be so so harmful. But, I don't want her story to become one giant p.s.a for the dangers of XYZ work.
I believe in a Jules Vaughn supremacy and I want to protect her from that evil boy and his father. Am so so looking forward to new Jules' makeup and fashion looks that reflect the characters rejection of doing things for male validation . I do love her even though her and Rue's communication issues drive me up a wall. She should have just been like Rue, I like you a lot so can we sit down and talk about this but she didn't and now they are both out there crying into a pillow asking why doesn't she like me. I do get that they are 16/17 and I too at 17 most definitely wasn't equipped to communicate that well either. Hunter is doing a phenomenal job and I see a long career in her future.

Oh Rue, I think he is handling Rue's story well, but as always they can handle certain things differently. I.E even though I didn't see it as romantization I know some people did see the scene with her yelling at Fez and her OD as being too cheery. Rue in the special episode makes you angry and I actually would love more of that. I want to be upset at this character that I love and relate to so much, because a lot of her choices are frustating. Even the ones she makes that aren't revolving around her addiction which is honestly the only thing her life really revolves around. I wonder what else Rue enjoys or will find joy in besides drugs, Jules, and hanging out with her mom. She desperately needs to find a better outlet and hoping we get to join her on the journey to finding that..
Since we see everyone's perspective from her eyes it will be nice to see how her lack of sobriety affects those around her. Especially the baddest most down friends someone could have, Lexi and Fezco.
Lexi and Fez's episodes are gonna be so good, but God i know they are going to be vastly different because of the lives they lead. Fez' will get very sad or upsetting and Lexi' is going to bleed out of Cassie and Rue's storylines. These two are the closest to Rue who dealt with her addiction before rehab and before we met Rue. If Rue is this bad when she has no reason to keep living, imagine how she was directly after her dad passed away. Which because she is unreliable she never talks about and we only see glimpses of when she isn't narrating. So it will be really interesting to get a deep dive for both of these characters.
Fezco is the only man I really care about in this show. Um, Ethan is okay but I don't think he needs an episode. I'd rather get an episode on Fez and his little brother/cousin.
I would also like no love more of detective Lexi because that was too fun. Also Lexi is every person who has a bestfriend who gets into a relationship and they gush about that person in front of you for a little too long.

I'm kind of worried for Cassie honestly because she has come out of the wanting to date to feel loved phase, but will she focus on herself? Will she focus on school or skating? Will we even get to see more of her character or will she fade into the background a bit more and her story goes stale? I don't know i just hope that if there are any scenes like last season that its done in a "tasteful" way. She shouldn't be the show or productions golden ticket or free pass to be used as an object or trophy. McKay already did that and she deserves better. After my many rewatches of season 1 I'm still a bit unsettled by some of those scenes with her. I get she's supposed to be looked at from that lens of owning her sexuality while dealing with the male gaze, but at times its like jeez yall are really had to go there. Maybe its because i don't or try not to look at women with misogyny as a backlight, BOO DANIEL BOOO. The carousel scene is probably one of the most uncomfortable 5 minutes I've ever experienced watching TV. I just hope that behind the scenes and in table reading discussions are being had with Sydney' and any other actors to respect their comfort levels.
It is funny that out of the HBO shows with nudity that this is the one with the least femme presenting nakedness. I'm not weirded out by nudity but even for me seeing all them elephant trunks had me like O.O. It is nice to see that all bodies are being normalized and specifically that its not just "lets sexualize femme bodies" for views. Instead it subverts the norm while also reinforcing that bodies can be shown without any other intent than that bodies exist in many forms. A couple newer HBO and HBO max original shows are also following in Euphoria's lead with this, but there are still some HBO shows that I'm like so "you can show topless women back to back but the men are covered up and "modest". "
Ugh I hope the Game of Thrones spinoff has learned from its past, but that's me trying to be nice instead of saying I'm not interested after that finale season.

After this season we likely only have one more season, 3 Season model has taken over and honestly it makes sense to only go to 4 seasons max with this show. S1 and 2 for junior year, S3/maybe 4 for senior year. A season for each semester. Also if im remembering correctly Sam said he got clean after highschool or around that senior year to college years. And since Rue in a lot of ways is based off of him that timing makes sense. So I hope for a season 2 that is more reflective of the bridge episodes that gets us to season 3. And, I hope for this upcoming season even with the criticism that will come that its handled and executed beautifully. Glitter, messiness, and realistic sadness in all.

First of all ADMIRAL PIKE!?!?! I love how they kept the uniform from the movies but added the little touch of the SNW texture 
Ok now we gotta talk about Captain Kirk what did they do to him, that’s not my Captain Kirk. That is not what he looks like and he’s not nearly brash enough.
Anyway, putting aside my Kirk complaints, holy shit that episode was great. Being the massive Trekkie that I am I went and rewatched the episode that it was referencing as soon as I finished that episode. The amount of lines that the kept the same at the beginning of the episode is incredible, even some of the way Kirk moves around the bridge in tos is very similar to how Pike moves around the bridge in snw. Like y’all SNW clearly did it’s research and that makes my Trekkie heart very happy.

if between S2/S3 of euphoria they brought back the special episodes, which 2 characters would you like them to highlight and what would you want the episodes to focus on?
Thanks for the question! I'm mostly in agreement with everyone who has answered. My priority would (obvi) be a Fezco episode and I would love to see even more about his backstory and family history. Given the structure of the other special eps, I could definitely see him diving deeper with one other person (lawyer? social worker?) on his relationship with Ash, his grandma, etc. I would love to know more about his mom because I think that's where a lot of his warmth comes from. (I actually have a little fic on this topic that I may post someday.)
Second - I would be very interested in a Suze or Leslie episode. Both Alanna Ubach and Nika King could carry an entire hour on their own. Suze would be interesting because she could show a deeper side of Cassie and Lexi's life, and I think it would be interesting to see an adult partner's perspective of losing someone to addiction. (And, um, I think Gus Howard is really gone. Like, under a bridge gone.) And of course, Nika's perspective of being a good, present parent and still having a daughter struggling with so much would be a great story to tell.
But I'll take anything, SL + HBO. Just feed us something before 2024!

So this is going to be a long one!
Obviously I think there needs to be a Howard girls special and I think it could be done easily and fit well with the story bridging S2 and S3 together.
Suze could make the girls see a therapist to hash out everything and it could delve deep into the deep rooted problems their parents had on them. Obviously this would be the best way for us to see some more Fexi moments because it could explain how Lexi felt when Cassie claimed she never fell in love or took risks and how she was feeling with Fez not showing up which would guide us into s3. Cassie's would be a way to show why she felt compelled to go behind her best friend's back just for a man and why she continues to let these men use and abuse her.
I think we also deserve a Maddy special. We know a little bit about her home life and how her parents were not supportive of her and Nate but I feel like we do deserve to see how Maddy was able to grow and somewhat get over him this past season or her home life in general. I feel like Maddy is such an underrated character and there is so much that can be tapped into with her story esp since she's tied closely with all the characters: Nate, Rue, Lexi/Cassie, and even Fez!
I know we did get some backstory about Fez in 2x01, but I do think there is so much potential with his story that could be explored in a special. We could get more information about how he raised Ash, how he earned his way up the ladder of the drug business, and so much more. And this could be explained as him having to see a licensed therapist while he's on trial!
So all in all, I'm down for letting some of the other characters taking the lead and having their time. I do think the Rue/Jules special was very important leading up to Rue's story in S2 but I think that it would be interesting to see more of the other, minor, characters!

Op analysis: "Ambiguous" from Kill la Kill anime
Hi! nnToday I bring you an analysis of one of my favorite anime openings.The plot of "Kill la Kill" focuses on the life of Ryuko Matoi, a student who comes to Honnouji Academy in order to avenge the death of her father. In her search for answers, she comes across a powerful school uniform called Senketsu, wich grants her supernatural abilities, in addition to having his own characteristic personality. Ryuko becomes involved in a confrontation with the student elite and specially with Satsuki Kiryūin, her father's muerderer, thus fighting against totalitarian control system in her school.so, lets start:D

Form: What does it produce to my senses?
When I listen to this song it gives me a lot of energy at once, as it is fast and constant in rhythm along with the voice, it causes me euphoria. This makes a lot of sense to me since the singer interprets the protagonist as if she were singing in the op, it seems to me that she expresses the strength of the voice very well, especially in the chorus, it emphasizes even more the sense of the lyrics. This song is so special to me
Sense • General theme of the lyrics: Emotional secrecy, friendship, love. • Key phrases: “I tried to be someone I wasn't, in a world that suffocates me” “Only you know the real me” “no one else can dress you” “your skin is my skin” “may this red thread seal our union”
Opening description: 1-. Beginning: Top-down shot that approaches the protagonist from space, “Only by cutting the threads that unite us, will you see your destiny.”
  2-. Opening credits: They appear at the beginning, as a musical beat plays, at the same time, spotlights turn on that illuminate the credits in a big way. Instrumental only.
3-. Costumes: The main, secondary and tertiary characters that are fundamental to the anime's plot are presented, showing the variety of uniforms of each of them to the rhythm of the music.

4-. Sides: The constant confrontation is shown between Satsuki's side (Elite) "I can't hide my heart from you" and Ryuko's side (Mako, her family and Nudist Beach) "Although I insist on keeping it safe I know that" at the same time as the voice and music plays.
5-.Antagonists and activation of uniforms: Between both sides appears the mother of both and her team, with a rainbow background that represents her "Only you know my real self, you see through me", later it is seen that both They put their uniforms into action to fight.
6-.Fight: Ryuko and Satsuki fight, surrounded by a mass of academy students: ”No one else can dress you, your skin is my skin You tore away the pain, and your heat merges with my heart Only by cutting the threads that unite us, will you see your destiny The sun, the dawn will rise for both of us”, then with the blood the blue letters that say Kill la kill are stained in red and present themselves.
7-.Symbolism: Both bodies are shown tied with the living combat fibers that make up the Senketsu (Ryuko) “Hey, yeah” and Junketsu (Satsuki) uniforms. “Hey, yeah”.
8-.Final: The name of the anime is shown again being crushed by the two blades of the scissors that are the main weapons: “Let this red thread seal our union” and finally the red son comes out that refers to the fiber combat alive.
Sense • Narrative topics: Community and individuality: Ryuko arrived as a lonely and unsociable person, however, over the course of the story she creates emotional bonds which change her perception about companionship and love. This can be seen in the sides presented in the opening, where Ryuko first comes out accompanied by Mako, whom she met at said academy and became a great friend. He also creates a very strong bond of love and friendship with Senketsu. “No one else can dress you, your skin is my skin “You took away the pain, and your warmth merges with my heart.” “I can't hide my heart from you Although I insist on keeping it, I know that Only you know that the real me, you see through me.”
Master and disciple: • Being an academy, it is governed by the elite, and by the president of this institute, who instruct their students, who would be disciples who strive to achieve the demanding expectations of the academy.
Optimism and War: The very structure of the academy and Satsuki as president is a clear representation of totalitarianism, also in the opening the optimism of ending all domination and doing justice is presented.
This opening is very significant for me since it is one of my favorite animes, given that struggle and friendship is one of the topics that interest me the most, also because I value loyal friendships a lot, I always put a lot of effort into everything I do. I do and I propose, so the protagonist, the energy that this anime and its openings give me, give me a lot of motivation to move forward and do my things. I inevitably feel a connection with this opening because it is about this same love and loyalty that a friend or whoever can give you, which can make you open your heart and bring out the best in you.

Many Z stans feel that Z should leave Euphoria. I'm just glad that she's having experiences with very high level filmmakers like Luca Guadagnino and Denis Villeneuve that will help her make a well informed decision whether she leaves Euphoria or stays. She has mentioned how Sam wants her to direct an episode and she's preparing to do so during the upcoming season. I think that there's too much hyperbole around Euphoria. The show is really not that terribly provocative and HBO has shown much worse. Now with the time jump, we will have the characters become adults which removes the controversial aspect of minors having sex. I do think that the show would be better if HBO forced Sam to set up a writers room. Anyway, I won't be like other stans having tantrums because Z did not follow our job advice. It's her life after all. I know that you don't watch the show because it's triggering, but since you were able to watch Cherry I suggest you watching Episodes 5 & 6 of this season to see how Z has developed as an actress. I highly suggest the first bridge episode. The focus of these episodes is addiction and not sex
No I agree, I'm SO glad that Z has had the experience of working with Luca and Denis... Working with these Directors will help her in the long-run in her career. Working with Sam?? Eh...not so much. No offense... 👀
But thanks to Euphoria, she won the Emmy and has been nominated (with a possible 2nd win) for another Emmy this year! (Crossing fingers) I also like how working with Sam has helped her get out of her comfort zone. I think Z is doing things the right way... Sticking to small projects while also being in MAJOR films in small roles working with great directors. But I agree....The writers room would help TREMENDOUSLY. As would being able to stick to the script instead of making changes every 2 seconds. This is a TV show, not a full-length movie lol. 😅
I don't mind seeing some of the episodes fans have mentioned, I just don't have HBO Max lol 😅🤣 While the genre isn't really my cup of tea, I don't mind watching a few episodes here and there. I just don't think I could do a steady diet of that stuff, and I'm not really a fan of Sam's Directing, the gratuitous sex/language, or drug usage. But hey, it is what it is. 🤷 Overall, I'm fine with whatever Z is happy with, and EU seems to make her happy, so.... lol...
