Howdy! It's been awhile! I was wondering if your asks were open because I've come with a request. Not a yandere one but I think it will be good. May I request Charlotte Smoothie with a fem darling who had been with her and almost wed to when the darling dies(Killed or died either way). Then several years later, a woman arrives at the island, declaring herself to be the darling. Even knowing stuff that only Smoothie and her darling would know. Thank you and I love your work as always! take care!
Howdy, dear. My ask are always open, though I'm not as active as when on holidays. Anyway, I love this ask so much
LIFE ETERNAL
Everything was going on smoothly. Life was good, you were there and she was happy. You two loved each other so much it made the kids wonder and hope for a love like yours, and it made the elders pleased to see someone of their family so happy.
You were a ray of sunshine, your cheery attitude had rubbed off on everybody.
They all loved you. That's why it hurt even more.
You two were out at sea when it happened. An ambush made the boat rock, Smoothie and her crew fighting the intruders off. You ran to safety, as per request, but a sword pierced your lower abdomen, making you fall. The boat was rocking so wildly you were catapulted out of the ship.
Unfortunately, your fiancée was there to witness everything. She rushed, but she didn't make it. Her hands moments away from yours.
Your body was swallowed by the seas below, and it vanished.
She eliminated everyone brutally, before falling to her knees, crying in despair. She knew that, had it been any other situation, it would have been unbecoming of a sweet commander, but this was her soon to be wife. They were going to see the dress, just to add insult to the injury.
She returned home, the news already been heard, and they held a solemn funeral, to pay their respects to a fallen family member. It hurt, they all cried, but they swore to keep your memory alive.
She went back to work,to keep her mind off the pain. But everything reminded her of you.
Couldn't you hear calling your name out, my dear?
.
.
.
Two years passed and she was starting to come to terms with her loss. The land, though, never gained back the shine it had with you.
She was preparing for the upcoming wedding when a chess soldier ran to the room. She was busy enjoying a nice fruity punch when she heard the words, "Ma'am, a woman out there is looking for you. She looks familiar, but we aren't positive of that. She's asking for you" panted the soldier.
She ran, hope still burning inside her. Maybe after all this time, you may have survived.
She ran outside and she saw you. Her eyes were wide, shock etcher in her face. Could it be?
"Hello darling, it's nice to see you too" you said, mirth dancing in your eyes. She wanted to believe that, but she had to confirm it was really you and not a sick joke.
"Tell me, if you so claim to be my beloved, what is one thing you cannot absolutely stand?" She questioned, waiting.
"Well, apart from caviar, I hate when you talk bad about your body. You know how I feel about hearing the woman I love doubting her undeniable beauty" you stated, confidence flowing through every word.
"What's the next wedding that will happen here?" She asked, knowing very well that only family members, as of now knew about the wedding, "The last one should have been ours, but the next will be that of Pudding with Vinsmoke Sanji. For political and tactical reasons of course, given the advanced technology the Vinsmoke have, with the subsequent elimination of Sanji, if Pudding or Mama so desire" you finished, before having the time to open up your mouth, you were being swopped up.
"You're back" she said, voice trembling ever so slightly, "Yes, love, I'm back. I'm sorry I went missing but I had quite the adventure" you said, before being put down.
"I need to tell every-" you stopped her, "there will be no need, by now I'm sure everyone knows there will be another wedding soon. Your guards did the job for you" you said laughing, while she stared lovingly at you.
Later that night, while they all celebrated your return, with hugs and gifts and scolding, you told your story.
"When the sword pierced me and I fell overboard, I was taken in by the Red hair pirates. Well, they pretty much saved my life. And it was thanks to them that I could make my way back here. It took so long because of the gravity of the injury. But they have been gracious host and they didn't think twice about helping, especially after I told them that my wife, the daughter of Big Mama was soon going to marry me. They were really nice people. They even accompanied me on land before going back" just your luck to be saved by another emperor, huh?
"Well, it seems we have to send a gift to Shanks, to show our gratitude" said Katakuri, happy to have you back.
"I thought about the perfect gift while coming back, so...Smoothie, you are hurting my ribs" giggling, you pried open her hands , taking them into your own.
"He adores having parties, so we could send him some of the best Sake we can find. Those big bottles would be perfect" you finally managed to finish the sentence, before being smothered again by the younger ones.
.
.
.
You spent the day after in a kind of edgy state. Not because you weren't happy to be home, but because the kids could be quite crafty in ambushing you with hugs. And you really wanted your ribs intact, or the dress wouldn't fit.
"Anana, darling, put the knife down. I'm home and I'm safe, you don't have to threaten every person you see. Instead, come with me. We have to look for the rings" and slowly but surely you dragged the little girl to the store, while keeping her knife safely tucked away.

Clarice Charlotte Blackthrone & Chester Davies + drabble: “I think I’m in love with you”.
Hogwarts Mystery.
I think I am in love with you.
Warnings: fluff + some ravenclaws taunting Clarice about her family
Starring: Clarice Charlotte Blackthrone (mc) and Chester Davies + if you squint, jealous Felix
Plot: Chester confesses his feelings to Clarice
“What’s a slytherin doing around here?” a ravenclaw asked, pouring himself a glass of water.
“She’s probably up to something… – a girl quipped, rolling her eyes at the brunette sitting in front of them – I mean, you know who she is. I wonder if she has already received the mark. Have you ever heard about ‘The Dark Lord’s sons’? Well, they’re the Blackthrone!” she chortled, winking at her friend.
Clarice tensed, her nails scraping the wooden surface of the table in anger. She could not mess it up, not this time, not when Chester had kindly invited her to sit with him and his fellow ravenclaws for dinner. Although they had been friends for years, she had never sat beside him to consume a meal. Her usual companion was Felix, but now he was lost among the crowd of Slytherins, minding his own business. Still, while Felix would have probably let her jinx them, Chester discouraged her to solve her problems with a wand. He was just like Gwendolyn, her sister: rational, calm and kind.
“Hey, miss-I-know-it-all, rather foolish of you to talk shit about my family, when I’m literally here. – Clarice blurted out suddenly, locking eyes with her baffled interlocutor – I suggest you to shut up, unless you keen to see what a ‘death eater wannabe’ can do, huh?”.
Silence swallowed the once cheerful table. Curious and concerned glances landed on her, but she was used to it. People usually had two reactions at the sound of her voice: they either trembled, or walked away. This time, however, she felt the urge to leave. She tried to stand up, yet, a large hand grasped her shaking one under the table and gave it a reassuring squeeze. She was not alone, he was right there.
“Finish up your soup, guys. We might join you for the dessert, alright?” Chester announced, inviting his Housemates to enjoy the rest of their meal and leave him deal with the situation, or better yet, with his jumpy guest.
Clarice rolled her eyes at him and tugged on his hand, leading him out of the Great Hall. Both the Slytherins and the Ravenclaws glowered at them, eyes transfixed on the weirdest friendship ever seen at Hogwarts. Even Felix shot an interrogative glance at them, however, he did not bother questioning his friends and he surely did not plan on doing it later. He felt uneasy at the thought of them spending time together, safe from prying eyes. It was better for him not to investigate.
When the door closed behind them with a dull thud, Clarice let go of his hand and a high-pitched scream of frustration erupted from her throat “They hate me! I’m so sick of it! What’s wrong with me? Why am I not worthy of a chance?” she choked out, stomping her foot aggressively on the floor.
“It’s like everybody thinks I’m a monster! And you know what’s the wrost part of it? – she spoke out again, eyes sparkling in tears – I wish I could tell them they’re wrong about my family, that what they’ve heard are just rumors… But it’s all true” she bewailed, running her fingers through her hair.
Chester sighed and tucked his hands into the pockets of his trousers “You are not a monster, not to me. I know who you are. You may share your parents’s blood and their name, but you are not going to follow their tracks”.
The brunette frowned, arms folded over her chest as she tried to collect herself “How? How do you know what’s going to happen in a few years, Chester? How can you say that? How did you see past the person I am?” she exhorted him, staring at her wise friend inquiringly.
Chester shrugged and hesitantly approached her shaking frame, soft coffee hues boring into her colorful ones. Oh, she was all nerves and he knew it because the charm she had put on her natural blue irises was slowly fading away, leaving the characteristic baby-blue pools on display.
“I might suck at divination, but you are not a bad person. You are not a murderer” he pointed out, a soft smile tugging the angles of his lips up.
“Not yet” she scoffed, burying her face onto his chest.
She felt his breath hitch, just as she heard his heartbeat speed up when her cheek settled right above his heart. Her long fingers clutched the fabric of his shirt and she batted her eyes closed in defeat. How was it that every single time she had a break down he was right behind her to put her pieces back together?
“Would you still love me, if I became a Death Eater?” she whispered then, trying her best not to let some tears spill out. He had seen her crying countless time, but she hated doing in public places, where people could easily figure out her weaknesses and take advantage of them.
‘Feelings are weapons’ she told herself.
It took a moment for her best friend to say something, but he propped his chin on the top of her head and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist. He had hugged her a million times, but the feelings he was experiencing in that very moment were boyond the affection and sympathy he had always felt for her. It was weird and unsettling, in a wicked and good way. It was love.
“I would love you anyway. – he started, cheeks flushing up in a vivid shade of red – Oh, blood hell, Clarice. I think… Ugh, we have a problem” he blurted out, panicking.
Her eyes snapped open as she took a step back and reached for her wand, however, when her eyes landed on him she realised that ‘the problem’ was not a passing by meddler, but him. She blinked, lips parted and head cocked she quirked her eyebrows up.
“Care to explain, Davies?” she chimed, slightly embarrassed by her own reaction.
“I think…” he tried to say, mouth dry as he rubbed the back of his neck in distress. Why was it so hard trying to confess his feelings to her, the girl he had grown up with, the girl he wished to keep by his side for the rest of his life.
“Chester!” she pressed, snapping her fingers ij front of his eyes.
“I think I’m in love with you!”.
A confession, a simple line shouted in a desert corridor of the famous wizarding school left two young people staring at each others in pure abashment. Did Chester Davies truly loved her? No one liked her and, not only he seemed to get along with her and ignored the inheritance she was going to carry on her shoulders, but he also, actually fucking loved her.
Her eye twitched and he held his breath in anxiety, waiting for her to say something. However, he should have known better than she was the type to make a move instead of talking. Before he could realise what was happening, she tiptoed to him and captured his lips with hers. An intense, desperate, first kiss indeed. Her hands cupped his face and she backed him to the wall, proving any man possibly watching them that she was not the girl who sat idly waiting for a kiss.
She was always in control. If she wanted a kiss, she was going to take one.
Chester smiled against her lips and, once they parted, he shook his head in amusement “That was one Hell of a kiss, Merlin’s beard”.
She blushed but grinned at him “Oh, but you’ve not seen anything at all yet. Tonight I’m sleeping over”.
Chester gawked and was about to reply something, but she cut him off with a quick kiss “Ah-ah-ah, don’t you dare giving me a lecture about how reckless it is to break rules… – she trailed off, winking at him – And chill, for God’s sake, I’m a nerd too, you know? We’re going to read all night long, alright? Now, I’m hungry again. See you, Davies”.
And in a nick of time, she was gone, back into the Great Hall and he was alone in a corridor, as red as a pepper with his heart running a marathon into his chest.

Charlotte's diary
Dear diary,
I just hate it. Look at all this furniture. None of my friends has a big bed like me to sleep in. Everybody has to share bedrooms but they would certainly have to share a bed like this if they had one. But not me and my younger siblings.
We don't live in the biggest, most expensive house. But we certainly come close. We have so much nice furniture. I keep wondering how my mom kept those clean when we were younger. It must have been a lot of work. And I remember helping mom with all of it after Cassandra married.
Now that we are all older, my youngest brother is ten years old, I get to help with my sister Cassandra. She is the only married one and already has five children and is pregnant with twins. So mom goes often over to her to help and I get to tag along to also help her. I don't like it at all. Why? Why? I just don't get it. If you can't handle the children, why get pregnant?
Ofcourse, I know it. We don't do birthcontrol. It's not what God wanted. But does he want me to help out all the time? Maybe, you have to serve. You are not important, God is, others are. You are not. I just don't like it at all.
Love, Charlotte

❤️, 💥,💛, and 🎬 pretty please?
What is your favorite line you’ve written in a fic?
Probably (actually no, definitely) the line, “To say that I am her father, that is my greatest victory.” From the last chapter of The Butcher’s Daughter. I cry sometimes while writing (is that normal? Lol! 😅) but there was something about that line that was such a gut punch. And still is every time I revisit it. It’s just exactly what William would have said under those circumstances. Almost feels like I didn’t write it, he did. 💖
What is one canon thing you wish you could change?
There are a lot of little things in the movie that needed to be fleshed out more. The worst offender, in my opinion, is Charlotte and Benjamin’s relationship. It’s just so… weird. There’s clearly a history there. Like maybe he was in love with her but married her sister because she was the eldest? Something like that would make better sense than how it is presented in the movie. Which reads more like, “You’re not your sister. But I guess you’re the next best thing. I’ll marry you now because you vaguely remind me of her.” 🤨 I dunno.
Fancast?
I have a couple. Like I’ve always mentally cast Elle Fanning as Annabelle/Marigold/Mabel. Especially after seeing her play Mary Shelley! Elle has this default as such a cheerful, adorable little ray of sunshine… but her range! My God! I could go on about her all day, she’s probably my favorite actress of all time! Hannah New’s character in Black Sails was my inspiration for Sylvia. Oh! And I think Georgia King would be brilliant as Giselle- she was SO funny in Austenland… but considering Giselle was originally designed after Ksenia Solo’s portrayal of Peggy Shippen in Turn: Washington’s spies… I’d probably hypothetically have to take both actresses to a craft store somewhere and see which one has the most convincing freakout over a yarn sale! Lol!
What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?
Sounds cheesy but… just have fun with it! And if you find that it ever stops being fun, step away from it for a while. This is challenging because, as writers, we fall in love with our projects. I am over the moon, madly in love with Waterford and everything that it has developed into after years of writing about it. But it is very far from canon and definitely not everybody’s cup of tea. The readership has always been pretty low, save for a few loyal, wonderful and supportive readers who have been with it from the beginning! (Like you! 🥰💖) Whenever I get discouraged, I just have to remind myself that I am doing this for fun and I fell in love with this project in the first place because it is fun!
Thank you so much for the asks, my wonderful friend and also just… I know I say this often, but words always seem to fall short here… thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading my work and for engaging with it. Writing, as you surely know, can be such a lonely thing, but having readers who make you feel seen and heard and appreciated… that is the greatest gift any creative could ever receive. 🥹💖🥰

Along with the changes to management and the government here we have some changes going on with the personnel in the neighborhood. Out of the around 120 or 130 households left about 100 of them were discussing leaving last night and they don't want to be here they don't like what's happening can't make heads or tails of it and don't want to protect some sort of suicidal imbecile John remillard at all he's an idiot and they're going to help pull him out of the candidacy for president and he's losing positions everywhere for his clan in the warlock but in the neighborhood they are getting whittled down one due to an evacuation and the second would be the remaining 20 or 30 households are kind of weak would be John remillard and company and they're wondering what to do they can't leave him alone with them and they put a halt on the evacuation until they figured out what to do so there people are still evacuating right now another 1% is up and the warlock her down to 2.5% now with them out and the pseudo empire are going up now to 2.3%, and they're a lot stronger than they are as a group that's all Florida we anticipate another 1% to leave shortly including minority they can't stand it here regular folks have moved in and are actually here. That would drop morllock to a ripe 1.5%. my son has started a religious ceremony in the factories and it is bless this job and he has someone make a plaque and they come in and they kiss the plaque or they kiss their hand and they put it on the plaque and everybody does it. And Megan Merkel thought that's great so she started doing it there she doesn't have that many but people saw it and they started doing it all over the West Coast it's going everywhere. Some say bless this house some say bless this factory a lot of say bless this job and is a heartbreaker and California dreams is playing all over the place here and they love it. Will probably have 3% by tomorrow and the more lock maybe 1% as they're leaving and they're going to be a pain in the ass they say while they're saying that they're getting arrested they say but that's in Florida and in Charlotte county they're moving in here and taking over and they're going to create a line and they're going to kick them out and it's not just the pseudo empire in here it's Max and minorities us miscellaneous or some of them and they're not really more like and it's going to be a big fight but it won't take long for the warlock to leave and get the message they're about 30% of the population here and pretty soon tonight I think 20% and it's going to keep going down not up until they're out
-huge huge changes are coming with the car and they are not issuing orders but they are saying we should move it to New York and Timmy d and he's doing a skit with him and Ken was helmets with the pit crew microphone gear and he's showing a picture of the Indianapolis speedway and they can't find their helmets with the gear cuz Ken took it and ran and now the two idiots are going to imitate it. And it is on the way no but they say to move it it's New York City apparently the warlock fight and others other than the pseudo empire so they're going to try and move it and we do know how it gets there and we're going to post it finally. And it's going to be a few movies in New York City before they move it again they're trying to get it out okay that's a brutal there. He says to the guy driving the truck in Batman and with pain and stuff he says that the truck's not big enough he says so stick out the back a little so what and it looks like it might not fit Tommy F said he measured it he said what year did you measure so he's looking around saying boy does this suck it's a heavy duty truck and a bed on the box is not very big and had something to radioactive it. They're talking about moving it and that's part of what the series is about and really it's in Massachusetts and they're playing the music part of the movie is in Massachusetts no but you can see them in other films that are in Massachusetts as their characters what is Jack Nicholson and he's close to it there's a few monsters that just go right over there the Bronx tale but the movies in Boston are about that I'm just very few movies made in the west or Southwest really of Boston it's kind of the middle of Massachusetts there's nothing out there and you'll see that most of the action is in the Boston area there's a museum and people are fighting over but they're trying to move the car they have armies out there all the time and that's what they're fighting over and you can see a BG just kind of sneaks around he's got sneaky character and he gets the thing and he might be running the museum and puts people in it to get away with it and threatens them and he takes a massive beating in Virginia and it's because he put a few in there then the max started beating on him but they talked about moving it and how to do it and our son is wondering how

Charlotte Gray (2001)
Charlotte Gray wants to rend your heart asunder with its wartime drama mixed with a romantic triangle and some survivor’s guilt sprinkled on top. All the performers are trying their best and the picture looks the part but it all comes off as empty melodrama. If this didn’t include children being orphaned by Nazis, you’d be chuckling but since that would make you a monster, you’re forced to sit in embarrassed silence instead.
In 1942, Charlotte Gray (Cate Blanchett) travels to London where she meets and falls in love with Lieutenant Peter Gregory (Rupert Penry-Jones). When his plane gets shot down over Nazi-occupied France, she enlists in the SOE. Sent to help Julien Levade (Billy Crudup) of the French Resistance, she pretends to be a housekeeper for his father (Michael Gambon). When Monsieur Lavade begins taking care of two boys whose parents have been deported to a German concentration camp, Charlotte wonders if she hasn’t volunteered for more than she can handle.
There are a lot of things wrong with this movie, many of which could’ve been forgiven if it managed to engage you. As soon as Charlotte enlists, the film leaves you behind. This man she’s going into Nazi-occupied France to find? The one she’s constantly asking about even when she’s given strict orders to waste as little time as possible? She’s known him for only a few days; a week at most. We know she understands how serious an affair war is. Even with the training she's received, why does she think she can just waltz into enemy territory and track him down? I’d understand if she was married to him or if this was like a first love kind of thing but Cate Blanchett was 32 at the time. Too old for this kind of foolishness.
You don’t like our protagonist and this is going to make me sound heartless but I didn’t care for André and Jacob (Lewis Crutch and Matthew Plato) either. I didn’t want them dead but these kids are just too oblivious to what’s happening to be anything but time bombs about to go off. Seeing them in the middle of this huge conflict is supposed to break your heart and you feel for them but so much of the drama in this film is forced or over-the-top. Charlotte wants to find Peter but she’s also starting to feel things for Julien. If she develops feelings for him, isn’t she betraying the man she “loves” and her original mission? Meanwhile, you'll be thinking "Come on, people. There’s a war going on. Your teenage drama can take a break, can’t it?"
Throughout Charlotte Gray, you feel like you’re one step ahead of everybody. When someone slightly shifty appears, you know exactly what role they will play. Whenever anything happens, you know what the reactions will be. It isn’t necessarily that the film is predictable, it’s that based on what you know of history everything you’d expect comes true. If there are two paths to choose from, this film always picks the one that would be the most emotional for the audience. Except none of it rings true at any point so it becomes tiresome.
You’ll be checking your watch a lot during Charlotte Gray. At first, to see if there’s time for things to turn around. Later, because you're hoping it's almost over. The movie was shot in a French town that was actually occupied by the Nazis during WWII so it looks right - almost enough to make you forgive a film set in France where we heard maybe 5 complete sentences in French by the time it ends. Billy Crudup is handsome, and Michael Gambon is quite likable (I’d have liked the film to be just about them, honestly). Cate Blanchett is good too, even if this role doesn’t suit her. Despite all this, the story gets bogged down in trivial business too often and fails to ring true. It isn’t even memorably bad. You’ll have forgotten all about Charlotte Gray within a week. (Full-screen version on VHS, June 14, 2021)

filming: season one, the night before mid season break time: 8pm location: evergreen lodge resort inspired by: an attempt at exploring charlotte’s parents and backstory that mostly just ended up being her being mushy about wes. for @violetleaves
charlotte sits cross legged on her bed, white, thin poka-dot covered frilly socks still on her feet as she sits, phone pressed against her ear and her elbow leaning on her knee to support it. “it’s really beautiful, mom... and we’re still here for the weekend. they want us to bond as a cast.” it sounds so hollywood, so she can’t help but make fun of it though god, if she’s honest? it’s everything she’s ever wanted. it’s all of her dreams coming true, crashing into each other and creating a supernova. at the center of it all is a pair of beautiful eyes that she’s about to get all to herself, if they play their cards right. there are no producers or prying eyes, as long as you find somewhere secluded, or at least that’s what charlotte has determined over their time filming at the lodge.
“oh, honey, it looks amazing. i was showing your dad all those pictures, it looks so beautiful out there. i’m so glad that filming has been going well for you. we’ve been missing ‘ya so much.” lottie can picture the soft lines of her mother’s face all the way over in colorado as she gushes over it, the way she smiles so genuinely, but sadly too every time they facetime. she’s sent her picture after picture, probably making her phone ding more than it did that time she accidentally got a virus by clicking a weird ad on facebook. she wants her mother to truly see and believe how far she’s come, after all the auditions and the commercials and the tiny roles that didn’t seem all that big at the time. now she’s leaning back on one hand, set up in a cabin with her co-star off showering so they can hang out before bed. still, she probably won’t understand it until she’s watching the first episode of little boxes.
it’s a lucky thing, to have a mother that’s so supportive. angie washington has never been the type of woman who lets her daughter dream alone, though lottie has had to prove her commitment to acting time and time again. she remembers how cautious she’d been when her daughter told her about yet another audition, yet another possible chance that could tip either way. not until she actually got the call had she been sure and now here she was, half a season deep into filming, itching to have her arrival announced to the world with this show.
lifting both her knees up to hug, she smiles as she continues. “i miss you guys too. i wish you could be here to see all of it. i wish you could see me acting in this show... wes has been... well,” her eyes widen and she looks down, wondering how to word it. “he’s really been amazing to work with. he definitely knows his craft, it really helps.” she explains, wearing a bashful smile that she’s very, very relieved her mother can’t see.
“i still can’t believe it, you and him! i remember him as a poster in your room... do you still have a crush on him? though i guess it could go either way, up close. so many of these celebrities have all those problems you don’t hear about until ten years later when they write a book... and i’ve heard some things about that boy—” her mother rambles and her eyes widen, taking a moment to be mortified by everything she’s saying before she interrupts. “no, mom, of course i don’t have a crush on him. we’re just friends. good friends. and he’s a good guy, you shouldn’t believe what you hear. honestly... um, i think we’re hanging out tomorrow just the two of us.” she doesn’t really know why she mentions that, maybe because she doesn’t want her mother to be completely out of the loop, even if she doesn’t wanna tell her about it. “hm, well, that sounds fun sweetie. i hope you have a good time. i’m glad he’s nice to you.” her mother sounds suspicious, but she doesn’t press her too hard. lottie imagines how she would react, if she knew the truth. would she be happy for her? or would she be cautious considering the things she’s heard. smiling softly, she ends the phone call soon after, letting her phone rest against her chest as she eases back onto the bed, staring at the ceiling.
nothing is going to ruin this little bit of time they’ve got for themselves, she’s decided. absolutely nothing. she won’t let it happen. just as she’s thinking of him, her phone buzzes with a text she lifts it from his chest, feeling herself melt when his name is on her screen and she notes quietly to herself that falling deep for him is inevitable at this point.
#im sorry to throw our timeline out of whack but i started this a bit ago and i wanted to FINISH IT#charlotte & wes: everybody wonders what it would be like to love you#charlotte feat. wes#violetleaves

We like neither the action nor the word in general. It’s excruciating to just have to rely on your gut and your anxiety-riddled mind for information because, as humans, we tend to overthink just about anything we do.
In context to Harry’s situation, waiting for the doctor to appear and announce if his daughter was alive or not was fucking with his head, to say the least.
“Momma! When is dada coming home? I made sunflowers for him. I know he’ll love them !” Taylor looked over at her 6-year-old daughter, proudly holding a pretty sunflower field. She smiles, “Yes, he will, sweetie.” Then she goes back to reading Roald Dahl to Charlotte while Ethan entertains himself with his science homework. Y/N doesn’t mind her mom; instead, she gushes about her painting to herself.
When Harry does come home, she runs towards him to exhibit her sunflowers, hoping that he would like them, but Harry just glances down at her and half-heartedly smiles. “Nice thing.”
He doesn’t wait to see how her face falls and how she struggles to hold back tears as he rushes to her siblings and smiles so wide when Charlotte explains that she and her mother were reading a new book together.
Y/N sniffled softly, padding over to where Taylor had plated the food. At least the dinner was of her liking.
__________________________________________
Harry’s mind was occupied with all the times he had ignored his eldest child. Those moments were now coming back to bite him in the ass.
She’s 11 years old.
A race is taking place for her grade, and all the parents are invited. Everybody takes a seat, and the children take their place. “On your marks! Ready, set, go!”
She gives it her all. She runs so fast that day that she even astonishes herself as she breaks the ribbon. Her eyes are frantically jumping from person to person, trying to identify one of them as her mother or father, but no.
When she dejectedly returns home that evening, she finds that the reason for their absence is Ethan. Harry looked infinitely proud, holding his son in his lap. Charlotte and Taylor were settled beside him, clapping excitedly. Ethan, as she later got to find out, had achieved 1st place in a writing contest held for his class.
During dinner, she tries to tell her dad and her mom that she won a gold medal today, but Harry tells her to wait as soon as she gets a word in. So she does. The girl diligently waits for her dada to return to her and ask what she was saying. Still, as the plates get picked up and washed, she belatedly realises that no one was coming back to her.
Harry realises something with a start. That night, he felt so confused when Y/N’s teacher called him to say that she had forgotten her medal in class because he never knew she had won a medal in the first place.
As his mind goes back to the box under his daughter’s bed, he wonders in that hospital waiting room what all the unnoticed achievements she possessed and looked at every day because nobody except her knew she had those.
Unnoticed achievements. Unnoticed injuries.
How many of those did she possess? How many injuries and hidden hurts had she gotten? There was no way for Harry to know that now. All he could do was wait. Wait for her to come out and give him his answers. Wait for her to forgive him. Wait for her to survive.
It was picnic day. Everybody was happy and laughing. Charlotte giggled loudly as she ran from Ethan, who was trying to catch her. Taylor and Harry were laughing, setting up the blanket and food, but Y/N was missing. Not that anybody realised.
She was sitting on the lowest branch of this thick, branched tree all by herself, waiting for her parents to notice her. She tried desperately to catch their attention to show them that she had climbed the tree alone. However, doing so caused her to slip from the branch she was holding onto and fall to the ground 2 meters down.
Startled, Harry looks behind him to find Y/N whimpering on the ground. Her scared siblings run over to their sister as Taylor sighs worriedly, Harry strolling over, perturbed, albeit while rolling his eyes in slight annoyance. Why does she keep doing such stupid things? What was she trying to prove?
Herself.
Harry was on the verge of crying now. He remembers how he had told her off for being irresponsible and stupid even when she was crying in pain, just barely comforting her. Taylor had tried to soothe her cries while their younger children just watched.
Harry wishes he would’ve just held and properly comforted his daughter instead of making her think everything was her fault.
Just as another hurtful memory starts to make its way to the surface, Taylor and the children come running through the door. A sobbing Charlotte settles in her father’s lap.
None of them says anything. The family just sits together as a heavy silence falls upon them, their minds reminiscing happy moments spent with Y/N just to find how little they actually were.
Taylor thinks back to the time she and Y/N baked together for their family.
Y/N was 13 at the time. She had found this strawberry cheesecake recipe she desperately wanted to try. Taylor was in a particularly good mood that day, and she agreed. They pulled out the ingredients needed, dancing to Harry’s songs. They sang along and played with flour when Ethan ran into the kitchen like a flapping chicken. Charlotte sat on the counter and laughed at her siblings.
They finished and decorated the cheesecake as Harry entered through the door. Smiling widely at his family, he helps plate out the dinner they had made as a side project; the lasagna.
All of them, including Y/N, remember that night as one of the happiest memories they had together.
Ethan stands next to his father while his mind reels memories of her helping him with his chemistry project.
This was recent; she’s 15. Ethan’s sitting at the dining table, completely confused with the sheet of instructions sitting in front of him. Y/N walks by the fridge, picking up a chocolate bar to satisfy her craving. She feels like shit. Period cramps are reigning terror, and she wants to commit. But she still feels better than she usually does. A glance over to her brother tells her he doesn’t know shit about what he’s doing.
She smirks at his lost state, propping herself up on the counter beside him. Ethan doesn’t even wait for her to say anything and quickly spills his shit to her. He doesn’t understand the topic and has fuck all for an idea on where to start. Now she topped her class in Chemistry, but he doesn’t need to know that. (He does know that, but there was a sorry excuse of congratulations to her, so technically, she doesn’t need to jog his memory)
3 hours later, they’ve got glue on their face and marker doodles on their hands as Y/N lays down the final touches to the project. Chests heaving with relief, both of them collapse into their seats after working on that thing non-stop for hours. But damn if it didn’t look good.
Excitedly, Ethan reaches over the chairs and squeezes his sister into a hug, who instantly tenses at the action. For him, that’s normal; he hugs his friends, parents, or anyone, but the affectionate physical contact is alien to Y/N. Nobody touches her like that. Ever.
He doesn’t let go instantly but instead holds onto her. She slowly relaxes into his embrace but never wholly.
When he finally let's go, he looks at her gratefully. “Thanks, sister.”

Charlotte had now quietened down as she thought back to the time Y/N braided her hair when mom wasn’t around.
She was 16 in this one.
With thumping little feet, Charlotte marches around the house looking for her mother, who well wasn’t at home. She pouts and settles down on the couch, looking very irritated.
Y/N, who had just walked out of her room to get some food, glances amusedly at her little sister sitting there.
As she passes, Charlotte stares at her and lights up like a damn Christmas tree, getting a brilliant idea.
She runs and pulls her elder sister’s sleeves to get her attention. Charlotte motions at her wildly flying long hair. Clicking her tongue, Y/N reluctantly picks her up and carries her to her room. She slightly teases her sister, only coming to her when nobody else is there, which Charlotte frantically denies. But Y/N was just joking, wasn’t she?
Opening the door to Charlotte’s room, Y/N sits her down at her small vanity and looks through the drawers to find rubber and clips. She gets a brush and combs down her little sister’s hair, who’s blabbering about what she saw in the last Barbie movie. Relying on what she saw in a video, Y/N partitions and does a dutch braid in her hair with extravagant glittery rubbers and sparkly pins.
Once she’s done, Charlotte gurgles happily about the result. Y/N smiles slightly at her happy sister and then takes her to the kitchen to feed her ice cream.
Taylor remembers how surprised she was when she came home to her daughter’s dutch braided hair. She was even more surprised when she learned that Y/N had done it. As a reward, she cooked her favourite pasta for dinner, which they still remember.
__________________________________________
Harry stares blankly at the wall as he thinks back to when they painted each other’s nails. A scarce bonding memory with her.
She was 12. Her aunt Gemma had bought her this mini nail art kit when she came to visit her nieces and nephew. She was so happy and obsessed with it that it was contagious.
Harry was sitting on the kitchen counter with his diary when she entered the room, giggling loudly.
She scrambled up beside him and pulled on his cardigan. His attention quickly diverted to his daughter, who looked radiant with that manicure kit clutched in her arms. He chuckles and closes his diary, the annoyance quickly dissipating when he sees her so happy and excited.
Within the next five minutes, the kit is open and on the table, while a very convinced Harry picks out black and turquoise for his hands and the same for hers.
Giggling and laughing, they put on the nail paint without spilling anything. Harry got annoyed at Y/N, which was a miracle in itself. They happily click photos to upload on Harry’s Instagram, making weird faces and poses.
Harry wasn’t as annoyed with his eldest daughter for the following days. It startled almost everybody, including Y/N, to some degree. But then nobody was really very surprised when he got angry with her a short 2 weeks after.
But as Harry remembers it, she had done something stupid again that made him angry at her. He had decided that she just didn’t deserve any affection from him because all she made him was disappointed, often forgetting that she was the one that made him a father. Something he had longed for forever.
__________________________________________
Sniffling, Charlotte sits up just as the doctor enters the waiting area. He looks around and nods in recognition when he sees the family of 4 there.
“Hi, I’m Dr Warren. There were pretty deep cuts on your daughter’s wrists which resulted in quite a lot of blood loss. We ran tests, and her glucose levels are almost dangerously low, meaning she hasn’t probably had something nourishing to eat in, say, about 3 days. She seems dehydrated as well.” He pauses to let them take in his words before continuing. “I don’t mean to dishearten you, but according to her labs, her health was not in a good state, and neither was her mental health. Your daughter herself admitted that these were not accidental but rather self-harm scars. She isn’t in a good place psychologically. Dr James is with her right now. She’s a therapist/psychologist, one of the best in her field.”
Harry’s face paled, and he felt dizzy. How could he have let this happen? Taylor burst out sobbing while a crying Ethan tried to comfort Charlotte.
Stumbling over his feet and words, Harry asks the doctor if he can see his daughter. Dr Warren nods quietly and leads him to her room. Before he could go inside, Dr Warren stopped Harry for a second. “Sir, I just want to say that please handle everything delicately and keep in mind to be patient. Dr James will talk with you later.”
With that in mind, he opens the door and almost wants to collapse at the sight he finds.
A couple of tubes and IVs run back and forth from her body as the heart monitor beeps in the corner. A small bag of blood is can be seen connected to her body.
The supposed Dr James and Y/N look up as the door opens. Y/N takes in a shuddering breath as Harry comes closer. With a nod and squeeze of Y/N’s hand, the doctor leaves her and Harry in the hospital room alone. The only sound in the room for the next few seconds was her heart monitor beeping loudly until Harry started to speak.
“Hi, darling.” She scoffs lightly at his words, replying in a bitter sassy tone. “Hi, dad.”
“Why did you do it? Why - Just I can’t understand- how you would-” He struggles to wrap his head around it all while she chuckles. “I thought you were happy, Y/N. I thought-”
“No! You thought.” She interrupts him loudly. “You just thought. You never once bothered to check in on me. Never bothered to check if I was doing okay because I wasn’t. I know you never wanted me there in the first place. You would have liked it better if I was never even born, right?”
Harry gapes like a fish at her words, not having a single idea in the world as to how he would reply to her. He wants to deny it, but can he even?
“You like your other 2 prize children so much better, don’t you? I understand, though. They’re so smart and pretty and perfect. I’m not needed in this family. I never was.”
A high-pitched sob breaks the air. Their heads turn towards the door where Taylor and her siblings stood. She scoffs at the tears in their eyes, not having the emotional capability to give a fuck about their feelings. Not when they never gave a fuck about hers. Even when they had the emotional capability to do so.
She turns her head to the side before resuming quietly. “I know I wasn’t meant to be born. You never wanted me there. I was so incapable of being loved that you got 2 more children out, ones that were worthy enough of the abundance of love you both had for each other. Ones that were capable of being loved.” Her voice quietens down to something short of a mumble. A broken whisper you wouldn’t have heard if not for the painstaking silence in that room.
“But you never even gave me a chance.”
“Never gave me a single chance to prove myself. To prove that I was capable of being loved. That I wasn’t useless or loveless.”
She raises her voice ever so slightly, more or less tilting her head towards her sister and brother.
“I don’t have anything against you. You’re my friends, both of you. I won’t say siblings cause siblings are supposed to have a bond. Siblings are supposed to be there for each other, protect each other from scoldings, and steal cookies. All of that shit.” A finger slightly twirls in the air.
The only thing that interrupts the chilling quiet in the atmosphere is the almost lifeless sounds of the heart monitor with suspiciously slow beeps that made Y/N herself doubt whether her heart was beating correctly or not.
“I’m sorry.” Harry’s apology uselessly cuts through the thickly tense air. “I really am sorry, Y/N.”
“Bandaids don’t fix bullet holes, do they now? You say sorry just for the show. Take a look at what you’ve done. Wounds can heal, but this won’t. Stop trying. From what I know about myself, I’m damn sure I’m not gonna forgive you or you.” Her slender finger points at Taylor and Harry.
Y/N starts coughing with the rough use of her voice as Harry rushes to grab the glass of water beside her bed. Leading the straw to her mouth, she barely takes a sip before snatching the glass with whatever strength she had.
Settling back into her bed. She begins again. It seems like all of the quietude from the past years was bubbling over now. Rather violently.
“I’m 19.” She states in a matter-of-fact tone. “I don’t know if you know, but I got into Stanford. Yay, me!” Y/N rolls her eyes snarkily. “As soon as I get out of here, I’m leaving for good. I will do everything for myself, on my own. I didn’t need you for the past 10 years, and I don’t think that’s gonna change now.”
“I think you’re being rather harsh-” Taylor starts but gets interrupted by a very emotionless chuckle.
“Please don’t. I didn’t come to this lightly. I’ll leave next month. You don’t have to bother with anything at all. I will be out of your hair soon. You can try to bridge things all you want, but please don’t think you can fix this. Now, I wanna sleep.”
Like an angel, Dr James opens the door and ushers her family out. Y/N sighs thankfully and pulls her blanket up to her face as they leave.
Once Charlotte gets settled in the play area for kids with Ethan nervously watching over her, Dr James leads Taylor and Harry to her office. She settles in her seat with a sigh, lacing her fingers together while the couple in front of her can’t stand touching each other. Probably because of the blame they were tossing around in their head.
“I’m not gonna beat around the bush; I’m sure you’d appreciate that.” Dr James begins in a genuinely gentle tone. “Well, for starters, I’m Dr Augustine James. I’m a psychiatrist, psychologist and therapist. Y/N has told me that she was very upset living in your household. This was a suicide attempt, as she admitted herself. Please don’t go about thinking that she wasn’t sure or had no reason to be upset because she was.”
Harry choked on a sob as Taylor rubbed her husband’s shoulder gingerly.
“It seems like she hasn’t had an output for her emotions or somebody to talk to in a long time because she almost immediately told me everything. It usually takes some coaxing, but they spill when the patient gets overwhelmed.” She pauses for a second to allow them a moment to absorb her words.
“Now, I’m not gonna tell you what she said because of the patient-doctor confidentiality, but you should know you need to be careful 'cause I know that it’s delicate. She is a hair’s breadth away from leaving for college and never looking back on you. I suppose it's harsh, but it's the truth.” Dr James had taken an albeit gentle but matter-of-fact-I-don’t-take-bullshit tone towards the end.
_____________________________________________________
About one really agitating and eye-opening hour later, Taylor and Harry trudge out of the doctor’s office looking as beaten as could be. All the shit they subconsciously gave to their eldest daughter, did they even realise how harmful it all was? When they enter her room this time, they find her asleep. Looking more peaceful than she ever had.
Taylor sits down in the chair closest to the bed, laying her head down on the bed. Harry awkwardly stands around for a second before pulling up a chair near Y/N’s bed, gingerly placing a ringed hand on her arm.
The girl in question sighs or grumbles more like. In pleasure or displeasure from the physical contact, her parents don’t know. They don’t know her well enough to understand her sleeping habits granted, as she dared never crawl into bed with her mama and papa.
Thinking about this, Harry stumbles down the memory rabbit hole of all the time he spent with her (not that it was a lot) and screeches to a halt at the time he comforted her after a night of recurring nightmares.
She’s merely 6. After Y/N jolts awake from the bouts of fitful sleep and bad dreams that had been plaguing her night, for the umpteenth time, she decides she should go to her parents. Hoping they would let her in and snuggle her to sleep. She takes in a deep breath, contemplates (which she shouldn’t) if she actually should bother and wake up her parents at 1:25 in the night.
Eventually gathering up the courage, the little girl walks across the hall and weakly knocks at her parents’ bedroom door. No response at first. She knocks again with a slightly stronger hand. Somebody trudges across the floor and the door swings open where a sleepy Harry looks down at Y/N. His face turns almost annoyed from the gentle state it’d originally been in.
Slightly cowering under his gaze, Y/N weakly mutters that she had nightmares and couldn’t sleep. They can hear Taylor faintly stirring behind them.
Seeing her afraid posture, Harry crouches down to her level and raises his hand to which his daughter somewhat flinches. He softens a great deal at the motion, placing the bare hand on her head to slightly ruffle her hair, which incites a tiny almost afraid giggle.
Taylor appears behind Harry and yawns. She gets down to her knees beside her husband, smiling clemently. She gently asks about what happened. Cooing pitifully at her daughter’s sleepless night, Taylor comforts her by pulling her into an embrace and into her lap. Harry strokes her back and Y/N swears it doesn’t get any better. Until she asks if she could sleep in their room.
She looks up from her position on her mother’s lap, now sleepily mumbling out a request to sleep with them. Harry goes ever so slightly rigid as Taylor’s pale blue eyes flit from her daughter to her husband chewing the inside of his cheek. Before she could think about agreeing, Harry starts, “You should sleep in your own room. You’re a big girl.”
And it probably came out more irately than it was meant or was supposed to. Taylor vaguely winces at his tone, proceeding to shut him up and backtrack on his words. “I’ll tuck you in, yeah? Daddy needs to go to work in the morning, he needs sleep.”
She looks so dejected at the statement that he almost regrets saying it, especially how he did it.
“Y/N, you can sleep in your own bed, cant you? Your mom will tuck you in.” She wants to be selfish and say no and throw a tantrum like she knows her siblings would’ve done and easily gotten their way. But deeper in she knows they wouldn’t need to know a tantrum in the first place.
She sniffles, tears fluttering in her eyes. Well, she doesn’t want to trouble her dada further, does she?
Y/N gives them a watery, defeated smile as she trudges down from Taylor’s lap. Harry’s heart breaks (for some strange reason) when she defeatedly crawls back to her room, turning once at her door, waving sweetly and disappearing inside. Taylor sighs from beside him as they get up.
“It’s ok H, she needs to learn to get up on her own.” She appeared to have caught on to his sudden and rare burst of sadness on the occasion of his eldest. However, he shrugs her off, muttering and going back to the room. His wife shakes her head and follows him into their bedroom.
He remembers it all too well. Time didn’t seem to fly where inky minutes turned into the early hours of the morning. He seemed to be paralysed by it. Unable to fall asleep and think about anything except Y/N’s sad face. It goes round and round like a satellite in his head. Spinning around waiting for him to pay attention.
Soft shuffling rouses him from the murkiness of his thoughts. He looks beside him where his wife lay comfortably, sound asleep. He can somewhat hear light little footsteps descending the stairs but he convinces himself it was just due to his lack of sleep.
Now, he’s pretty sure he heard the clanging of something downstairs. He glances at the soft blue letters of the clock. 2:40. Crawling out from under the covers (and his wife), Harry makes his way to the kitchen where he can see tiny shadows dancing ‘round the kitchen in the refrigerator light.
“The fridge light washes this room white.” He thinks.
Entering the kitchen he sees something, he’s not entirely surprised by. Y/N stands there holding the fridge door, periodically drinking, what he assumes to be orange juice according to the juice box in her hand. Her eyes go impossibly wide as she turns and notices her father standing in the doorway with his arms crossed and a softly amused expression that her startled little head does not register.
The door simply slips from her hand and shuts close as she nervously puts down the juice box on the floor. Tears immediately start pooling in her eyes and she starts blubbering out apologies. Harry frowns at her fear, crouching near her but that just makes her more scared. Y/N chokes in her apologies and winces once again when he raises his hands to shush her (again for some bizarre reason he couldn’t explain to himself).
And Harry feels….hurt? Why is his own daughter afraid of him that way?
He tuts and tugs her into his arms which well alarms the both of them. Y/N hesitantly relaxes against his silky sleep shirt as he tentatively tightens his arms around her. “It’s uh it’s ok.” He clears his throat kinda awkwardly.
But that doesn’t stop her from pulling back and spewing out justification for drinking juice in the middle of the night.
“I’m really sorry dada. I didn’t mean to make you mad. I promise. I was going to sleep but then the bad dream was- it was scaring me and I just came down to drink water and then I found a juice box so I took it, I’ll put it back, please don’t be mad at m-”
“Hey hey hey. It’s ok Y/N. You can have it, yeah? You can have one more.” That stops her in her hiccuped rambling of an apology in it’s tracks, eyes wide once again. Terribly hidden surprise and disbelief was skewered over her features as she confirmed that he really was not mad at her. He was even ready to give her another one!
He picks her up and sets her on the kitchen on counter. The action most certainly shocks her.
“Has papa drank that weird liquid thing again? Is he gonna punish me later? Why isn’t he mad? I want ice cream. Is dada going crazy? Why didn’t he shout and call mama? I really want ice cream. I hope he doesn’t get mad again. Will he get ma-” Y/N’s tiny head is almost short circuiting due to her father’s strange mood swing.
Harry, meanwhile, picks up the juice box she was already drinking and hands it to her. She innocently sips from it, observing him all while silently wondering about what even was happening.
His smile is slightly tight. Unnatural maybe. But atleast he was smiling at her. Once the box is finished, which was pretty quick, she jumps down from the kitchen island, scrambling to throw it into the bin as Harry’s eyebrows wrinkle. His furrowed gaze never once wavers from her small frame. She cowers in front of him, softly stuttering out a goodnight.
“Good night, dada. I will quickly go to sleep, promise. Won’t bother you anymore.” His confusion and creeping agitation is evident on his face.
“Do you not want me to read you something or sing or what?” Charlotte and Ethan would’ve begged him to do something of that sort by now not that they would’ve been in a position where they had to ask Harry for stories. He voluntarily dished out such things for his younger kids.
“Um uh I- I- I don’t- I don’t want to trouble you papa. Mama said you had work, you can go to sleep. I can go to sleep by myself now.” She didn’t sound very sure of it but tried her best to unwaveringly deliver her partial lie.
He sighs and holds out his hand. “Come on Y/N. Let’s get you in bed.”
The wide eyes should be trademarked at this point.
Slowly creeping up the staircase, the duo tip toe into Harry’s bedroom to where Taylor was sleeping. He motions for her to quietly get under the blanket. She moves uncertainly as if he was gonna suddenly change his mind and not let her sleep in their bedroom.
Once she gets under the covers, her mother instincually pulls her closer. A pleased sigh emanates through the room. Smiling, Harry leaves the room to go work in his home studio. He wasn’t gonna fall back asleep anytime soon.
__________________________________________
It hurts his heart to think about it now. He acted like nothing happened the very next day, crushing Y/N’s hopes in his ringed fist.
The memories go through his head like flashbacks in a film reel as he sits there with his wife and kids, watching his daughter lay asleep in a hospital bed.
Y/N doesn’t wake for the next few hours. Not until she’s sure that visitor hours are over and her family has left.
_____________________________________________________
3 weeks later
Its been about 3 weeks since they discharged her from the hospital. 2 weeks since, what everybody keeps referring to as ‘that night’. The air in the Styles’ household seems sombre and stale. As if somebody was gonna burst out screaming and crying.
She’s planned to leave for university in the next few days. The last of her stuff is packed up and shipped to her new apartment in Stanford which her parents were adamant on funding. She didn’t fight them a lot on that.
All that was left now, were the damn boxes full of years of tropies, awards, prizes and certificates. Photographs, keepsakes, diaries. A lot was there under her bed. But not anymore.
Harry’s watches Y/N from the doorway, her back to him. She digs around the boxes like she was searching for something important. She’s scoured through the other 2 boxes seemingly not having found whatever it was she had been looking for.
With a sudden gasp, she straightens up holding a few polaroid pictures in her hand. Harry can just make out what the pictures are of. Them.
The first one is of Harry and Taylor sitting together in the grass, laughing. It looked like the shot was taken while they weren’t aware. All of the pictures looked like that. In the second one, everyone except Y/N is sitting around the kitchen island apparently having breakfast. Their faces were cheerful, unaware that somebody was capturing the moment. The next one was one of the photographs they’d taken on a family vacation. This shot had all 5 of them in the frame. They were sitting on the sofa at Anne’s old Cheshire house. Charlotte and Ethan are settled in Harry’s lap and Y/N in Taylor’s. He remembers Gemma pushing them together and quickly getting the snap. They’re all giggling and happy.
The last one. The last picture in Y/N’s hand was of her and her father. Harry’s cradling a newborn Y/N in his arms, holding her as if she’d break if he so much as to dared to breath harshly. His gaze was fixated on her with a loving look. Something so uncommon, she’d die for it now.
He’s gonna start crying. He swears he is. He sniffles from the doorway and watches Y/N’s head shoot up in alarm. Her eyes glisten with tears in the light. Sighing, she looks back down to stuff the pictures inside a folder and into her bag.
“D-dinner’s ready, Y/N. I made lasagna for you.”
She mutters out a response as she shuts the box and pushes it to the side with the other ones.
She hopes her life gets better
_____________________________________________________
3 months later
It’s been three months since she left their house and she’s never felt better. Never felt so in control. Taylor calls her every one or two days with Harry chiming in, asking about her day. She’s trying to talk to him without the sarcasm and bitter comments. Its not proven to be very successful till now but Harry won’t stop trying. No matter her words he still asks her a question and tells her a dad joke when he calls her.
University is good. She’s making friends that understand her. Finding her own people. Y/N decided to keep this small kitten she saw wandering around on campus. It looked lost and hurt; like her. Named it Oreo.
She thinks her life might start getting better.
_____________________________________________________
2 years later
Its been three years since she started university. She found a bestfriend in a girl called Lila. Y/N thinks she might love her. Oreo has become her forever companion and found his best friend in Lila’s cat, Milkie. Her course still has a year to go.
She calls Harry everyday now. Their relationship is getting better. She’s started to forgive him because her therapist and Lila told her to be the bigger person and move on. He’s not entirely forgiven but he knows that 17 years of pain isn’t forgotten that easily. Harry’s trying his hardest for her now and Y/N isn’t letting it go unnoticed.
She visits home for break and stays. She used to have dinner and leave the next morning, gradually staying for the weekend and then the week and then the entire break. She celebrates, Christmas, Easter and birthdays with them.
Christmas break is starting in a weeks. This time Lila is going with her.
Her life is getting better.

Return to the dark side
The Good Nurse is certainly Eddie Redmayne’s grimmest portrayal in more than a decade, and there has been a flurry of false assumptions in the media that exploring the worst in human nature is new territory for the Oscar-winning actor.
The group of six fans who gathered by Zoom last week to talk to him knew better — were familiar not just with Marius Pontmercy, Stephen Hawking and Newt Scamander but Alex Forbes, Eddie Kreezer and Antony Baekeland.
And they couldn’t be more supportive of seeing Eddie — as he put it, “go to extremes” — and delve into the complexity and challenges of his most recent projects of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club on stage and this true-crime thriller from director Tobias Lindholm, told with shades of Hitchcock suspense.
Armed with advance screener access courtesy of Netflix, the group — including two nurses from his fandom — were ready with their questions. They were rewarded with insights into how the film was shot, how Eddie’s stunning scenes in the latter part of the film were crafted — and of hearing firsthand Eddie’s exuberance and energy at tackling the role in partnership with Jessica Chastain and Tobias Lindholm, two artists he admires deeply.
The Interview
Eddie: Hello, hello, everybody from all corners of the earth!
Charlotte: …you do have your two nurses on — Marci and Cris from Italy. So we can have some expert analysis.
Eddie: Wow! It’s so nice to speak to you all, and thank you for jumping on.
Charlotte: Well, thank you, too. We just are thrilled. I think we’ve all kind of chatted, at least online, and this movie has exceeded all of our expectations. The sensitive approach to it, and of course your performance is just unbelievably authentic.
Eddie: Thank you! Thank you so much. I’ve really enjoyed the promoting of it because it was an amazing experience making the film. It’s rare that you get through a sort of film where everyone is as impassioned about it as each other, so I’m thrilled you guys enjoyed it.
Charlotte: Well, that’s coming across. It’s really lovely. We’ll go ahead & get started here, and as always, Ivonne can lead with her first question.
Ivonne: We’ve spoken to you before about the physical preparations for your previous roles – a lot of your previous roles have had physical intricacies, but I felt like The Good Nurse is a very character driven piece, and I felt like your performance has a lot of nuance and a lot of layers that kind of came to the spotlight but in a very restrained way. So I was just wondering, what was that process like?
Eddie: It was, one of the things that I loved when I read the script — and the script was my introduction the story – was the enigma of Charlie. The fact that this was Amy’s story, and who was Charlie? The film wasn’t going to allow you to find out the pat reasons for his behavior. I love that even though, of course, as an audience you’re looking for that — for the “why” of it, and Tobias said something actually beautiful: “We’re looking for the ‘why’ in order that we can explain away this person as a monster…’we would never do that’…’he did it because of this.” What was much more complex was actually more the nuance in this man, his own trauma. I loved how stunningly underwritten it was. Krysty Wilson-Cairns had done a piece that really had faith in the actors. So one of the appeals for me, once I started reading about Charlie’s childhood, was about hiding (it) really, and there was a particular naturalism to Tobias’s movies that I had adored. Often his take on things is not the obvious; it’s the oblique. And one of the things I was most excited about was to be in a Tobias Lindholm film. I didn’t feel as if I had worked with this sort of filmmaker. And so it was about doing all the prep — and hiding as much as I could. If that makes sense.
Charlotte: Playing off what Ivonne just asked — because you do put in all this preparation, and you’ve talked about how Charles Graeber’s book had so much rich material, and you talked to Amy Loughren: Not having Cullen’s motivation be obvious — did it free you up in any way, not having that to really explain with your character?
Eddie: As the actor, even if the piece isn’t really explaining the motivation, you have to find a confluence of or accumulate some possibilities. Now he also had mental illness — Amy describes him as having a dissociative personality. So that was the massive insight — that this was two different human beings. But where that was catalyzed felt a lot about his trauma, not only about being abused as a 7-year-old, but also the closeness of the relationship with his mother and how the hospital behaved when his mother died in a car crash and how they couldn’t find (her body) and when they did find it, it was all sort of disrespected. And after having done these insane things in the Navy for many years, when he then came back and trained to be a nurse, it was that very same hospital where his mother had been brought after the car crash. The fury at that particular place and that system felt fueled. And I’m not saying that that’s the reason at all, but that felt like a strong reason. And so certainly when Jessica or Amy talks about his mother in that final scene, and (he says) ‘They didn’t stop me,’ that idea of the system being the thing that he, in his narcissism, believed was the problem, that was definitely something I was playing with. In relation to the freedom, I did feel freer on this film than I had in a long time, and that had a lot to do with Tobias and Jody (Jody Lee Lipes, the cinematographer) and his lighting that was so dark that it felt at its most real. You didn’t have the sense of the camera crew. You didn’t even feel like you were being observed, and that intimacy with Jessica was wonderful.
Charlotte: Marci, do you want to ask your first question?
Marci: You have told us before about how you do a lot of research and homework in preparing for a roles, and then it sort of disappears into your portrayal. As a trained nurse, I wonder what you learned through your research and from Amy that became embedded in you that helped make your performance so authentic.
Eddie: Gosh, well through my experiences — I’ve had one particular one in the past couple of years of being by someone’s bedside and watching nurses — I’ve always had extraordinary admiration for nurses. But through the nursing school — a couple of weeks that Jessica and I did with a guy called Joe, a pediatric ICU nurse, we started with the history. I found that riveting, that fact that so many systems come from the late 19th century-early 20th century wars, and how the architecture of hospitals is built up. But also it was basically what it requires for nurses, and what you guys are. You have to be an extraordinary brain. You have to be brilliant at science and maths, and I really felt that because I was really struggling with some of the sort of biological-based stuff that we were doing. The thing that shocked me was the physical — the actual tireless, physical, like what it takes to move bodies, to move the beds around, how extraordinarily tiring CPR is. So the physical elements of it, followed by — and this was something that I’ve witnessed in a hospital — this emotional intelligence that you need, a humanity. You know, sometimes doctors in my experience don’t have that, and you have to be this go-between, between families, between patients at their most vulnerable. So it was those things — the fact that you have to be such a polymath — made my respect for nurses supersede where it already was. There were specific things — like apparently actors get the CPR wrong. You have to have your elbows locked. I’m not a very ‘prop’ actor, so things like attaching the IVs or putting in needles while doing other things — multitasking — were something that I had to come in every morning and practice on the dummies. And I did ping myself a couple of times. But after each take you would get that the director’s and Joe’s feedback. So hopefully we did OK.
Marci: I would say so. It was very authentic.
Chrissie: I did see the film, and I thought it was fantastic. The nuance of your characterisation of Charles Cullen is so spot on, according to Amy (Loughran) at the BFI screening. How did you manage the task without having met him? Was there ever a consideration to try to have you meet him? Is that something you would have wanted, and why or why not?
Eddie: Chrissie, what a cool question. I knew that it wasn’t going to be possible from the outset, particularly because we were going to be started filming at end of COVID so there were all sorts of restrictions. But the more footage I watched of Charlie now, and you can see the 60 Minutes, it did not marry with the man that Amy was describing as this kind, gentle, self-deprecating man. And so I felt it’s been so many years, and it’s almost like he’s lived with his reputation that I felt OK with not meeting him. I did not think necessarily the version I would get from him was…I didn’t want to be manipulated, honestly. That being said, it wasn’t an option. What I did have was all of this footage and voicemails and things from that period, so I worked pretty hard on the specifics of that, and Alex Reynolds (note: his movement coach) and I did a day, and Alex’s genius is managing to articulate something that I can observe and that I can take emotionally into my body. So that was probably the most. The other person was Charles Graeber, who wrote the book, and he spent a lot of time with Charlie Cullen. And he (had) such brilliant insight into the specifics of him. But the overwhelming thing was the real Amy talking about the side of the friend that she loved. That was the biggest score into him.
Chrissie: Playing such a complex character how did you ensure you looked after yourself whilst filming? It must have been quite draining.
Eddie: My family were here in New York. Jessica’s family were wonderful. The kids were hanging out, and I’m not an actor that brings it home. That being said, 70-80 percent of the movie Charlie was being kind. It was much more intense for Jessica. The heart element — Jessica was sort of pacing around, running around the wards, it was incredibly physically intense on her. But then my family left for the last few weeks, and that was the last moments of the film. That was intense. But still I’m not an actor, I don’t think — I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Hannah — who takes it home with me. Hannah was quite thrilled to lose the voice. Occasionally there could be some practicing, and she found Charlie’s voice pretty creepy.
Chrissie: It was very creepy. Lovely to chat with you.
Eddie: Lovely to talk to you, too.
Charlotte: Cris, if you could ask your first question.
Cris: Attending a nursing school, I would like to know what you liked most about this job.
Eddie: Gosh, I don’t have the emotional capability to be a nurse. I don’t know how you guys do it. And the feeling I had not just in nursing school but when I heard some of the stories, but particularly when I was in this ICU with a friend a year or two ago, was the emotional connection that you as a a family member feel to the nurse, who you engage with, who you get on with, who is the person who translates things for you that you don’t understand at this moment in which the person you’re with is at their most vulnerable. It feels like your everything. And that feeling when that person goes home and has a couple of days off — and of course they need a couple of days off — but you get a new nurse you have to develop a new relationship with. And it’s so complex. The thing that I learned is that nurses probably have to be extraordinary actors to be able to show that empathy and that compassion to people but also to have a relatively normal life at home. I know there are so many jobs in the services, whether it’s police or psychologist, that I would not be able to do. But I think that idea of how you’re able to cut off is astonishing to me.
Charlotte: And now we’ll go to Erina in New Zealand, who always tells us what time it is in New Zealand.
Eddie: Yes! What time is it over there?
Erina: It’s actually quite respectable. It’s 6:48 a.m.
Eddie: What’s that? It’s like an early wake up.
Erina: Yes. (Laughs) But it’s Friday; it’s in the future. My question is: You really see the transformation of Charlie from the caring friend to the frightening killer in those last few scenes. What was the shooting schedule, and could you actually build to those last transformative scenes? Or did you shoot out of sequence, were you back and forth?
Eddie: Well, the amazing thing was we shot all the exterior scenes out of sequence. But everything that took place in the hospital, they had built this hospital. They had wanted to shoot in a real hospital, but because of COVID obviously that was impossible. So in a business park they built this ward, and…all the background artists were real medical professionals. What it allowed was for us to shoot that main part chronologically. And it was really wonderful because on the page, the friendship and how the friendship unfolds is stunningly underwritten by Krysty. It was about finding the truth of friendship through extreme scenarios, but it was also a workplace thing. It was how to find that organically. And there were moments of improvisation, there were things the actual circumstances brought up, like with the pizza. And Jess and I had known each other for years, but it really was wonderful, it was actually really a lovely period shooting that. And then everything shifted after that, and when we got to the interrogation scenes, I hadn’t actually seen Jess for a couple of days. I’d done the scenes with Noah and Nnamdi, and they had been kept away from me during the process so sort of the first time I’d properly met them was in that scene. Tobias had kept them apart. That was pretty intense, the days shooting the interrogation scene. So when Jess came in the following day, we just gently kept our distances for that last day, and so when she came into the room, it was like an old friend coming back. None of this is ‘Method’ or anything, but it was just a way of trying to find the grace notes, given that we were able to shoot chronologically because it’s so rare that you have.
Erina: That’s like a luxury, so it’s so awesome to hear that they did that. So how great is that?
Eddie. Really great.
Erina: Thank you, Eddie. I might not get my second question, so…
Eddie: Lovely to speak.
Charlotte: We’re starting on our second round…
Eddie: I’ll give short answers… (laughter)
Charlotte: Well, Ivonne had wanted to ask you about your experience with the K-Pop stars but that question was knocked out, so she’s going to have to ask a serious question now.
Ivonne: Serious question, yeah. When you think of your career as a whole — because there are so many audio-visual media — what would you like your legacy to be?
Eddie: My legacy — oh God, I have no idea. It’s not something I think of. I don’t like to think back in the past, but it was interesting recently at Zurich, they showed me lots of films I’d done in my career, or moments of them, and it was so interesting because for me what it does is take me back to where I was in my own life. It takes me back, like seeing Les Mis takes me back to when Hannah and I had just got together or like, each film comes woven into a life memory. My thing is if I just never underestimate how lucky I am to get to do something I love. It comes with odd, weird things that I have sort of negotiate. But if I just keep to doing it, that’s what I care about. And it’s lovely…I’m going to stop answering (laughs).
Charlotte: This kind of plays off that, my next question does, talking about your past movies. Because we all know that you’ve done these very dark roles in the past, but a lot of people are just kind of discovering you now, and in the last decade or so you’ve definitely played roles that run along the lines of being romantic or heroic — or being a nice guy — certainly not anything this dark. What about The Good Nurse appealed to you, particularly at this time in your career?
Eddie: The interesting thing is that it was six years ago that I was cast in it. This often happens with me, whether it was The Danish Girl — films are such weird things, really. They can take years to happen. This film I was cast in six years, it then moved studios, the financing fell through, then all of our schedules were all over the place, but ultimately I’d say it was two things, three things. It was an extraordinary story that I couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard of given he was perhaps the most prolific serial killer in history. Secondly it was working with Jessica, who I think is one of the greats. Thirdly, I had seen Tobias’ movies, and I adored his films…he felt like a unique filmmaker and whenever you watch his films, you know that you are watching a Tobias Lindholm movie. And I wanted to be in a Tobias Lindholm movie.
Charlotte: That’s lovely, very simple, too. Marci?
Marci: You and Jessica Chastain were both amazing in this film, and you seem to have great chemistry. What was your favorite part of working with her?
Eddie: My favorite part of working with Jessica was she is a sensational actor. She also has innate confidence, but also loves what she does. She’s an absolute optimist. And she always looking for the best. I am someone who…whenever I read a script, I hear the worst version of it. And she was really good at just having none of it, just pushing me into an optimistic place, which was really wonderful and galvanizing me.
Charlotte: Cris in Italy, your second question?
Cris: What inspired you for the interrogation scene for the last part of the movie ?
Eddie: We hadn’t prepared the interrogation scene. We had worked a lot on the scaffolding of the character up until that point, but that piece — a lot of it was verbatim from the transcript of the trial. But also he had gotten furious in that interrogation, but also there was also a moment a year later when he was in court, when the judge was reading out a pronouncement and Charlie Cullen started screaming this mantra about the judge’s failings, and repeated it again and again and again furiously in court to the extent that he had to be bound and gagged. And I wanted to bring that element into that scene also.
Charlotte: OK, Erina. Ye of little faith, you get to ask your second question (group laughter).
Eddie: I got there, Erina!
Erina: I’ve got to deliver something good now. No pressure! You've played real-life characters in the past - what have you learnt from these other roles that helped you bring the Charlie to life?
Eddie: I still feel every time I get cast in a film, it sort of feels like the first time. I don’t have a specific process, but what I’ve learned — and the real shift in that was Theory of Everything, when I started working whether with vocal coaches or Alex on movement — but realizing it was so odd to prepare a character in a vacuum. I have lots of actor friends who have acting coaches, and I’ve never worked with an acting coach. But that process of having sounding boards, other artists you can play with ideas when you arrive with your director and other actors felt really important to me. All of that technical stuff may just be sort of reassuring to know that you’ve done some prep. Sometimes I don’t even know how useful some of it is. But it’s also it’s part of what I love doing. It’s like with Cabaret, when I went to Paris for this theatre school, LeCoq, the workshops there. I don’t know how useful any of it was, but what it did, it took me to a place of being willing to make a fool of myself in front of strangers. And that’s what I knew I needed to do in rehearsal for Cabaret. And that I knew I couldn’t be safe; I needed to go to extremes. And I don’t know whether any of that makes sense, but…
Erina: It all makes sense.
Charlotte: Eddie, thank you so much! Usually we know what you’re doing next so we can say we look forward to talking to you again, but we certainly look forward to whatever you’re going to do and to speaking again sometime. Thank you!
Eddie: Guys, thank you so much, as always, for your support. It helps me a great deal. I love that we get to chat in this kind of international fashion, across time zones.

More than a friend - Girli
I have you close but I want more / I want your tshirt on the floor (this is also just a severe banger, strongly recommend)
FU in my head - Cloudy June

Sucker - Jonas Brothers
I'm a sucker for / all the subliminal things / no one knows about you
Do I Wanna Know - Arctic Monkeys
It's just I'm constantly on the cusp / of trying to kiss you (this one's just mandatory in horny friends to lovers playlists)
What's It Gonna Be - Shura
I don't believe in forever / I still wanna give it a try
Ain't Together - King Princess
You think it's hard for me to tell you're falling / (we're falling)

What if we ruin it all / and we love like fools / and all we have / we lose (this one is just mandatory on angsty friends-to-lovers playlist, plus it's actually gay)
Sinners - Lauren Aquilina
The rules say our emotions don't comply / but we'll defy the rules until we die
You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go - Miley Cyrus (or, you know, Bob Dylan :p )
I've only known careless love / but this time around it's more correct / right on target so direct / you're gonna make me lonesome when you go
Tightrope - The Greatest Showman
So I risk it all just to be with you / and I risk it all for this life we choose
Lucky Ones - Lana Del Rey
I tried so hard to act nice like a lady / you taught me that it was good to be crazy and also Everybody told me love was blind / then I saw your face and you blew my mind
Ours - Taylor Swift
Your hands are tough but they are where mine belong (this song was already better gay and it's so much better butch4butch)
Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis Presley
Shall I stay / would it be a sin / if I can't help / falling in love with you and of course Take my hand / take my whole life too / for I can't help / falling in love with you
Honourable mentions to:
Pussy is God - King Princess (you know why)
Taste of You - Razz ft. Dove Cameron (in honour of Jess' oral fixation and Lupe liking biters)
Boyfriend - Dove Cameron (just because the line "I could be such a gentleman / plus all my clothes would fit" is VERY JESS and also would be exponentially better if this was a butch4butch song)
Genghis Khan - Miiike Snow (For the still unjustified jealousy/possessiveness vibes of fucking other girls when you're in love with your bro)
Somebody I fucked once - Zolita (for the "girl i'm so hot all the girls want me but i fucked you once and now all i can think of is you" vibes)
Dress - Charlotte Sands (for the genderfuckery vibes - I know both of them hate dresses so it doesn't fit but also. the omg you're so masc and so gnc and it's so hot vibes do fit, you feel)
Willow - Taylor Swift (bc the "you threw all my life plans into disarray and i'm so much happier for it" vibes are v jesslupe and also bc jess deserves to hear "that's my man" as a gender treat)
Cornelia Street - Taylor Swift (if you imagine them as just-gotten-together in new york "hope i never lose you / hope this never ends / i'd never walk cornelia street again" hits rly rather hard)
#asks#Anonymous#jesslupe#music recs#yes i know this is all either 'gay and horny' or 'UNFATHOMABLY sappy'#it's the mood with these two okay#aloto

Hey it’s me again. I have another request haha I was wondering if you could write a murphy x reader where the reader falls asleep on his shoulder and he goes all soft and is like “nobody fucking move or i’ll kill you myself or sum” haha. And if you want you could harper and monty be like the readers parents again. And in they case it would be like they finally understand that Murphy actually cares about the reader and isn’t just using them or something. (he proves himself to them in a way yk?)
Hope this makes sense, happy writing!! :))
John murphy (almost wrote john purple??) X reader
3rd pov
Monty walks in with a big smile "i did something new with the algae" he says proudely murphy who is sitting next to y/n scoffs.
"You trying to put me in a coma again?" He asks annoyed, making y/n and harper giggle "yeah 'dad' you trying to kill my boyfriend?" Y/n asks playfully, the dad part makes monty smile even more and the boyfriend part makes murphy cockily put his arm over his girlfriends shoulder with a smirk.
"See shes on my side" murphy says proud making the girl next to him shake her head "murp.. Dont be rude to my dad, he might actually poison the algea, remember the whole 'ill kill ya' speech he gave?" She asks concerned.
Bellamy glares at the couple in front of him as if echo isnt holding his hand on the table and scoffs "face it murphy, you wont ever be good enough for our little sunshine" he mocks, y/n kicks him under the table and echo slaps his chest letting go of his hand "dont be mean, i think.. You guys are a very cute couple" echo smiles before adding "remember my threat too okay little sky boy?"
Y/n sighs annoyed before shaking her head and walking away from the dinner table.
Murphy glares at the older couple before chasing after his girlfriend "doll" he yells before grabbing her arm, he lifts her up bridal style and takes her to the big window facing earth, he sits her down and then sits next to her.
"They just really fucking love you baby" he tells y/n making her scoff "its so annoying, everybody is a couple everyone deserves happieness but then i wanna be happy with you and its not okay, i mean i have had a crush on you since you punched finn the first day on earth cause he looked at me funny and then blamed it on me being friends with jasper so i was under your protec-" he cuts her off with a kiss
"i have had a crush on you since that day too, i didnt think you wanted anything to do with me because you scolded me and i didnt talk to you until after i got hanged and you stormed up and demanded they take me down. When connor put that knife against your throat i got so fucking pissed, thats why i took my anger out on him instead of wanting Charlotte to get floated. im happy Charlotte is still alive by the way, i heard she met a grounder her age before the bunker closed" y/n's head falls onto murphy's shoulder and he pulls her closer, their backs now against the wall facing the window "do you wanna go back J?" Y/n asks looking at earth
John just shrugs "im going where ever the fuck my girl is, so.. Do you wanna go back, doll?" The girl nods her head "i wanna see clarke, make up with her, i wanna see octavia, and just give her a hug, she needs one" she says
murphy nods in agreement before snorting "i bet she and lincoln are making childern as we fucking speak" y/n laughs
"Gross, i wouldnt be surprised if they already had a child though, i remember octavia saying she would have some kids with him when she told me about their relationship for the first time" she says
"what about you? You wanna have kids with me?" He asks, his mouth is in a smirk but his eyes are filled with hope. Y/n nods "fuck yeah, i want 3, and we shall call em huey dewey and louie-" he slaps her shoulder "fucking brat" he scolds her with a playfull laugh.
Murphy softly lays his head on her head and they just sit in silence watching the earth, it doesnt take long for y/n to fall asleep, leaving murphy with his thoughts on how lucky he is.
Then he hears the voices of the others, when they enter the hall way he softly but harshly tell them "shut the fuck up if you wake her i will take out your fucking eyeballs and shove them where the sun doesnt fucking shine yeah?" Before softly pulling his girl so shes laying on the floor with her head in his lap and starts playing with her hair.
Monty and bellamy look at each other and nod, echo and harper just smile at each other.
Raven and emori fake gag and whisper "gross affection" before raven jumps on emori's back and emori starts running away.
Thats how y/n wakes up, to a still staring at earth murphy and her head in his lap "i do want kids with you, i have had want them with you since the so many-th time you saved me" y/n says "i told octavia 'i want a boyfriend and kids but if he isnt john murphy then i will stay single and kidless my whole life" she continues before yawning and falling asleep again leaving John in happy tears

I'm still processing Season 6 and as an unpopular opinion I'm not too happy about it as a whole. I feel horrible for not enjoying it as much as the Cast/Crew would like me to, but I just can’t change this feeling I have.
Just to clear my head I'll write the things down that irked me. I don't want to start any discussion, they're only my thoughts on stuff ‘n thangs. Huge spoilers ahead, please don’t read if you haven’t watched.
Michael
I admit it, I have probably more sympathy for the bad twin than I should. And after the whole S5 I thought we get a bit more closure with him. I didn’t expect a redemption arc, after Michael killed Remiel, Dan and Chloe it would have felt wrong. But after the “Everyone deserves a second chance” the dude is down in hell, scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush. Really, Lucifer? That’s cruel after such a righteous line.
When Luci realized he could help everyone, even if he hated them, I hoped for a dive into the twins’ relationship but it was like Michael didn’t even existed anymore. And if someone needed therapy it would be the twin with the huge inferior complex. That could have been so interesting. (I had hoped that he'd sat on the couch at the end, but noooo we get the Frenchman.. such a disappointment.)
Maybe Tom Ellis didn’t want to play 2 roles again, or there was no time, but I feel that was a huge opportunity wasted.
What even was the plan of Michael? To get God to retire and wreck havoc on earth to get Dad back, so Mickey can take over as the new God? And then what? Wipe out humanity? I see no endgame here.
Ella
I liked Ella’s Story so far. But she stole the personal file of Carol and even broke into his house.. and everybody is cool with this? Carol might be crushing on Ella pretty hard but if somebody tells you they broke into your house, because they feared you were hiding something bad, You run for the hills. But the dude isn’t even phased.
I’m glad Carol is a good guy, though. Even if he’s kind of bland.
Ella finding out the truth on her own came out of nowhere. I would have found it better if they would have her act a little suspicious over the whole S5. But since they wrote S6 while S5 was shot, a little to late for this.
The scene at the wedding was amazing. I had so much fun with her outburst there.
Dan
Ghost!Dan was my favorite by far in this season. And I really liked how he wanted to help and tried to find out what he still felt guilty about.
I am so glad he got to spend his afterlife with Charlotte and I laughed so hard with the pudding. Didn’t expect that, in a positive matter. :D
The scene with Trixie killed me. Bawled so hard as soon as Kevin got teary eyes. That really gripped at my heartstrings.
But how could he go to heaven while in a body of a killer when his daughter stands right next to that killer?
Comedy-wise Dan is top notch
Trixie
I missed her so much.
It felt like she was an afterthought with everything. She recently lost her Dad and Chloe spends most of the time with Lucifer. I really missed the scenes with her and Luci, they always were so adorable.
They explain it later that she’s at a science camp, but I honestly thought Chloe chooses Lucifer (and later Rory too) over her.
She wasn’t at Chloe’s deathbed but here I’m not sure if the scene with Rory isn’t placed somewhere at the threshold to heaven where only celestials are able to enter. But if she wasn’t there because Chloe sidelined her in favor of Rory, then I can understand her absence.
Linda
I love Linda, she always gives good advice but nobody’s ever took it.
Her book probably would fly under the fantasy tag if she ever published it. Still, it felt cringey.
It was so sad that she thought she was a bad therapist.
Apparently she wants to keep helping celestials because it’s better than helping humans. In the end, celestials have the same problems as humans just on a bigger scale. But okay.
Amenadiel
Amenacop was good, and a nice nod to Dan who put in the application.
It made him realize that he only can change things when he has more power. I’m white and no american so I don’t know if the BLM theme there was well enough executed. Got me wondering.
The apocalypse just being Angels who are incompetent was a letdown. Like this whole season.
I really like him as god. And I am glad he took the position in the end. Even if he could have decided this a bit earlier.
Rory
I like her sarcasm and her character.
Didn’t like the whole time travel, time loop and daughter spiel. I’m not a big fan of time travels or couples getting a kid just for the sake of a happy end or to add extra drama. I could have lived without a Deckerstar baby. Instead they could have focused on Trixie for a change.
The time she spent with Lucifer on the 4th August was precious though.
How in hell did the Frenchman capture her? How did he even know how she looked? IIRC Dan hasn’t seen Rory while in that body. Dan just went over to Trixie that’s why I thought he’d capture her and not Rory.
Lucifer
He found his calling to help the souls in hell only because Rory traveled back in time? No man, he already took the step with Jimmy Barnes in preparation to take over as god. I don’t think it’s far fetched to believe that he would have the same epiphany without Rory there.
But without Rory, he wouldn’t have been helping Ghost!Dan to go to heaven. Though, before Rory traveled back in time, Lucifer was already trying to help Dan. They probably would have needed more time to figure out about what Dan felt guilty about, but figure it out anyways.
How did he even got Chloe pregnant? Was it his subconscious deciding he was ready to be a father? Amenadiel had to believe that he was human to get Linda pregnant. Or maybe it’s because they always thought they couldn’t impregnate a human and self-actualized it that way. Anyways, it’s a tiny hang-up I have with it.
Somebody else besides me thought that the scene in the panic room was awkwardly long? I know they thought Lucifer would vanish somehow, but it seemed too much to me.
His singsong while the magician talked about the trick. :D
I don’t want to even get into the whole time loop thing because I think it’s ridiculous(ly bad).
It took a lot of time for him to realize that he didn’t want to be god, after he put it on hold for a second time. Even Chloe could have asked him if that is really what he wanted. Could have spared us an episode or so. Why is the communication on this show so bad? Q.Q
I loved that he helped Maze with Eve to get the wedding back on after their fight.
He didn’t say goodbye to Trixie - again. What a nice step-devil..
It’s been Chloe, Rory and his family since he found out she’s his daughter. Not even mentioning the one kid who probably loved him before even Chloe fell for him.
For someone who is all about free will and led a rebellion against God for it, he was quick to accept that he has a “fate”. I thought he’d find another way, or at least try to. Nope, he just did what his child wanted. And they disguised it at his “choice”. Doesn’t look like a choice to me if your daughter begs you for it and you have to promise it. Just getting along with what your child wants.
Why does everyone need to shoot him? Just cut him until he bleeds. The Americans and their fixation on guns. Nice parallel to Chloe though.
Lucifer trying to fix the relationship to Rory with gifts was so cringey. I don’t know why but I couldn’t watch him sing/dance in that scene.
Both him and Amenadiel didn’t want to become like their Dad because of the reasons stated in S5, yet Lucifer exactly did. Another letdown.
Chloe
As soon as she knew Rory was her and Lucifer’s daughter it was all only about Lucifer and Rory. No thought of Trixie? I understand she was worried about being a bad mother to Rory, but come on, you’re being a bad mother to your first child right now.
She was ready to go to heaven with Lucifer. And Trixie does what exactly without her parents? Living with her Grandma because one of her parent died and the other one is abandoning her? It’s like the writers forgot about Trixie while forcing Rory on us.
The addiction to the necklace got old pretty fast.
And that whole fight against Lucifer felt unnecessary just to add more drama.
She gets mad at Lucifer for not telling her everything while not telling him that she went back to the LAPD. It’s Lucifer, he always has things on his plate. Double moral, pretty much.
She looked so gorgeous at the wedding, oh my god.
Most of the Deckerstar scenes were good. I got tired of the obvious naked cuddle times, surprisingly. Somehow it felt not like the ones in S5 and it bothered me.
I thought Chloe would finally get to know about everything Lucifer did for her, but I didn’t expect her to read it in Linda’s book. And that she only took away that he left her every time they had an emotional breakthrough.
They spend Lucifer’s last day at the beach and once again, no thought of Trixie. I’m sorry I repeat myself here so often. But this whole season wronged Trixie so much.
They face the baddie without any backup. At least get Amenadiel with you.
Other things
The use of music between scenes was too much for me. Got annoying at some point.
I appreciate that they wanted to show us snippets of past Deckerstar scenes but here too, I felt like it was too much.
Couldn’t really follow the timeline. Maybe it were the cuts.
What’s been the point of bringing Adam into the mix? Just to wrap up Maze and Eve’s story? For Linda having another celestial to therapy?
The animation in the Jimmy Barnes Hell loop was AMAZING. I laughed so hard.
I’m not saying that Deckerstar shouldn’t have sacrificed everything for the time loop to stay intact, I say that the whole daughter-time travel plot shouldn’t have had happened. They never even talked about having kids, and then ignore the whole existence of the one kid that’s already there.
I really need all the Michaella fanfics, please. My first ship that’s actually a raft, because they never officially have met. RIP lmao
The acting was great as usual, all my problems come from the writing and the plot.
In the end, I really feel frustrated, underwhelmed and disappointed by the whole season. I didn’t have high expectations other than the same writing quality like S5. My excitement for that Season died as soon as Rory told Lucifer that she’s his daughter, to be honest. I waited for a plot twist that never came. Then the whole time loop shit. I’d rather have waited one more year for S6 if the plot would have made more sense, since this felt like a first draft of a whole other show. And now I wished that S5 would have been the last season. If I could travel back in time, I’d rather not watch S6.
I can honestly live with the fact that Luci and Chloe are in hell, trying to help souls to get to heaven. (But hello, not the murderers perhaps? Or I want Michael sitting on that couch right now.) But the fact that both “chose” to sacrifice their time together with their family and friends just because it’s fate now and parents have to make sacrifices for their children; and anyways there’s an afterlife because (human) life is just a blip in our existence… nah thank you. I do not want it.
I’m probably not gonna rewatch S6 anytime soon.

Hi! just recently got into the fandom and I was wondering if I could have a match up (if it isn't too much trouble of course). Thank you so much! You are working really hard!
=-=-=-=
I am... short. and squishy. (she/they by the way!) my hair is black, super curly, very wild and it barely touches my shoulders. I've got lots of dark dots all over my body, but they kinda look like freckles on my face I'm I won't complain, I guess. I like writing poetry and nonfiction a whole lot and I like video games. (Kinda a weeb?? but a very quiet weeb to be certain.) sort of strange, but I like to watch those 2-hour long video game documentaries and read medical oriented books. They are very interesting if you give them a chance! I'm an introvert who really likes to be around people, if that makes sense. Like I love to talk and everything, but I just get a little tired out, y'know? I asked my friends what they thought of me, and they said that I was gentle and very friendly and smart but that I scared them with the random stuff I knew. As far as, like, flaws go, I am realllly paranoid about murders, kidnappings, home invasion, that kind of stuff. To the point where I keep a knife under the pillow paranoid. In fact, I'm awake right now to distract from that :D One more thing, an ideal date would probably be one to see a musical and go to a nice dinner afterward so we would have something interesting to talk about. Or a library date. Both works.
I hope that is ok. wish me luck getting to sleep! Thank you again, take all the time you need. :)

THIS IDK YALL JUST GIVE THIS VIBE ^^

he’s not exactly the most studious but he loves listening to you read
you’ll read poetry you wrote and you both have deep discussions about the analogies that somehow turn into conversations about Beanie Boo plushies 🧍🏼♀️
GAMING TOGETHER; you both love to play games like smash bros, towerfall, wii sports, and the occasional mario party for good measure!!
^^ on this , y’all probably have a scoreboard of wins for each game it’s serious business 😩
he’s so amazed by your intelligence and knowledge on medical things!! he loves to cuddle you while you watch documentaries! he’s not rlly paying attention to the TV, he’s just so happy to be there with you
eventually he gets rlly into them with you!! he gives them a chance because he knows how much you love them and they didn’t disappoint!!
he loves how kind you are and how many fun-facts you have!! they always brighten his day i swear!!

The one when Y/N meets Harry.
November 28th, 2017 - Shanghai, China
Today is the day. Today is the day you’ll be walking for Victoria’s Secret for the first time. Dreams do come true. You traveled all the way up from New York to Shanghai with some of your best friends after getting ready for this day for the past months. It wasn’t easy if you must admit. Having to follow a strict diet and working out almost every day was hard but being here today it’s totally worth it.
‘’Alright, it’s almost show time. I need everybody to be ready by minutes!’’ — The stage manager yelled while walking through all those tall ladies that were probably much taller than him. As usual, there’s going to be four segments and I’ll be in just two of them. At this moment, it’ll be the Goddess segment which looks completely stunning. You look around to see all those gorgeous women around me with their perfectly styled hair, beautiful golden wings and lingerie getting their final touch ups just like you are. You have no idea if it’s the amount of people around you now that are touching your hair, putting makeup in your face, fixing up the tiara or even if it’s the idea of having all eyes on you in just a few minutes. Of course, you wanted it to be perfect, it’s your first VS show and you can’t stand the thought of falling or anything like this.
You tried to calm down and focus on your breathing while staring to those extremely big screens hanged on the wall that showed the stage from every possible angle and you could totally notice that there was a lot of people out there.
‘‘I remember my first time too! I felt like my heart was about to leave my body’‘. Bella, that was right beside me getting herself ready as well.
‘‘Well, yeah! I’m one step to passing out now’‘. You joked while feeling this small woman finishing the touch ups of your outfit. It was stunning. There was a lingerie, of course, which looked like a white color but it was actually more into ai really light tone of grey. And they complemented it with a super long baby blue fabric over the lingerie. You had a super goddess like a golden tiara upon your head and some diamonds made up jewelry on your neck and years that probably costed more money than you could afford.
‘‘Romee! Where is Romee? We need Romee!’‘. The stage manager called Romee as she would be opening the runaway and you could see from the corner of your eye that she was almost running to get from the starting place. She literally looked like a Greek goddess with those beautiful long blonde locks and blue eyes. ‘‘Ok girls, I need all of you to get by your entering positions, alright?’‘ , by this phrase, all of you start to go to your marked positions. Yours was right before Bella which made you a little bit more confident because at least you had to do it with your best friend by your side.
You stared again at the big screens in the wall that showed the stage, seeing that it was a little bit dark, there was a big structure rising up from the floor and apparently there was a band inside of it. Everything looked really well produced, and you really tried to recognize in some way the melody of the instrumental song that was playing to know who was the band but your mind was totally blank now. All you could focus on was that you were just about to realize one of your biggest dreams. You looked at the line of tall girls in front of you as you listened to a scream. You knew this song by the melody. You couldn’t believe your ears and eyes. It was Only Angel by Harry Styles, it literally was Harry Styles. For some reason the fact of knowing this song so well made you a lot more confident. He started singing and the stage manager told Romee to go when Harry sang ‘’Broke a finger, knocking on your bedroom door’’ and Romee started doing her fabulous catwalk. And then Laís Ribeiro entered with the fantasy bra, which it’s the million dollar bra from VS, again, probably more expensive that you could afford. By the time that Romee came back from the backstage you were just leaving.
Being there totally put your adrenaline levels the highest it has ever been. The light, the other models, the crowd, the song. Everything was perfect. You were smiling thinking to yourself ‘’please don’t cry, please don’t fall’’, but you manage to do it, one foot in front of the other and posture, you looked glamorous, mostly like what Aphrodite would look like in real life.
‘’I must admit I thought I'd like to make you mine As I went about my business through the warning signs End up meeting in the hallway every single time And there's nothing we can do about it’’
That was the part Harry had just song when you entered. Harry, of course, didn’t know you as you never talked before, except for that one DM. But he was stunned by the moment he saw you walking. He thought to himself how spectacular you looked as you walked towards him with that beautiful smile of yours.
‘’Told it to her brother and she told it to me That she's gonna be angel, just you wait and see’‘
Harry kept singing as you walked beside him. You looked at him and winked at the British boy as you held the baby blue fabric over you up to create a wing effect and Harry was just so caught up with the song and the moment that he kneeled down. Harry Styles literally got on his knees to you while signing those exact words:
‘’When it turns out she's a devil in between the sheets And there's nothing she can do about it Hey, hey’’
You were surprised. Shocked actually. But the show couldn’t stop because you were flattered and honored about the fact that HARRY STYLES GOT ON HIS KNEES for you. So you kept walking and blew a kiss in the air to the camera started to walk back to the backstage when you saw your mom in the crowd looking extremely proud of her baby, you waved at her right before entering the backstage again.
The models were all celebrating and hugging the others. In the moment you step into the backstage Bella came hugging you and you hugged her back. You feel so happy and pround of yourself for that. The camera focused on you guys as you looked to the camera and said ‘’It was amazing!’’. And it really was. Your heart was beating as fast as never and even the same small lady that was fixing your outfit earlier came to you and Bella saying ‘’Come on girls, you have to change outfits!”. You and Bella walked hand in hand to the appareal and only parted ways when had to change lingeries. This time Bella and you wouldn’t walk at the fellow segment and apparently has Harry’s again.
The lingerie looked different though, this one was a black lingerie with actual wings. Some beautiful and medium sized blue wings and blue long gloves. And again you were ready to enter the stage. Looking up to the screens as I was going to watch this time, the big structure was rising from the floor again and Candice Swanepoel entered looking fabulous, I mean, it’s Candace right.
In general, the show was so good. He sang Kiwi, which is one of your favorites. You couldn’t stop singing at the backstage the entire time. And when the entire show was done and everybody was backstage eating pizza so you’re a hundred percent happy now, Harry was a little farther away from you wondering if he should go talk or not with you, even though he have this feeling that he knows you from somewhere and he just can’t remember where. So he decided he would come with the excuse that he thinks he have met you before. Harry walked towards you wearing a black suit with a pink shirt while holding a red cup with coke on. You were so focused on eating your pizza and didn’t even noticed the boy behind you, so he touched your right shoulder with his hand calmly while talking lowly ‘’Excuse me’’ as you turned out to look at him. You were still in your outfit except for those big blue wings that you had already taken off and at that moment Harry thought to himself about even though he had met tons of pretty women in his life but you were the prettiest. Everything about you was beautiful, your eyes, your nose, your lips and that smile you had held up in your face since the runaway. You were focused on his face too. You stared into his big green eyes and how they were sparkling in this moment.
— Hi! I... — He said, brushing his thought of his mind and held out his right hand for you — I’m Harry!
— I know! — You told him shaking your hands with his as a meeting form, soon using the same his to grab one more piece of pizza — I’m Y/N! You were so great out there, really I’m impressed!
— Oh — Harry said while exhaling a small laugh while analyzing your face to try to know with you were flirting, or just being nice. You were just being nice. Of course Harry is extremely handsome, but you really just think he’s being friendly at this moment. — So I made a good first impression then! That’s good.
— Excuse me? Of course you did! I love your songs, I’m like a super fan. — You told him being honest, you have been normally shy meeting new people, but something in how he acted and talked really made you feel comfortable straight away.
— I’m flattered! — Harry said, putting his free hand over his clothed while closing his eyes and giving you a cheeky smile — So..Is this your first time in Shanghai?
— Yes! I haven’t been to many places actually, just basic Fashion Week places by now, which I love of course! Is it your first time too?
— Actually yes! I’m on tour but me and my band mates are gonna take a walk through the city this night, you know, to have a experience — Harry explained to you and turned around a little to show you his band mates by the corner of the room where Mitch, Adam, Sarah, Naomi and Charlotte who were staring at you both indiscreetly waved as noticed that Harry were pointing at them. As the nice girl you were, you smiled and waved at them back before returning your attention to Harry — Maybe you would like to come with us...If you want of course, don’t feel obligated to, please!
You laughed about his concern of making you feel obligated or uncomfortable about something and looked around searching for Bella through the room, you saw her talking with the other models and stared back at Harry.
— I’m with my friend Bella and we kinda wanted to do the same thing so.. If it’s okay if she comes too, I really want to, don’t worry! — You were truthful, you and Bella really were planning to explore Shanghai through the night, but of course you wouldn’t go out in a city you don’t know with a group of people you don’t know. You truly don’t think they would be capable of causing you any kind of harm, but it’s always great to be cautious.
— It’s perfect! Let’s go then, do you want to go now or?... — Harry asked tenderly while rubbing his multiple rings on his hand.
— I mean...I gotta put some clothes on, but we’ll do it now and we’ll find you guys here? — You said, putting a lock of your hair behind your ear before leaving your empty cup by the table beside both of you.
— Sure!

Return to Hatchetfield-Town - TGWDLM Part 2
Oh my god, we’re back again. Brothers, sisters, everybody sing – wait no
It’s TGWDLM part 2! Today we talk about coffee, those police siren sounds and we begin looking into Hidgens… god help us. It also features a new theory I haven’t actually posted on the blog yet.
Also, please let me know if you’re enjoying these. They do take a lot of time, but they are a lot of fun to put together.
Part 1 | Part 3
Reality is falling apart as I stand here today… I guess it’s time for a coffee break
This is how I have entered every Starbucks I have ever been to.
Hey Starkid, when can we get a full version of the Black Coffee song?
Has it been established yet whether Nora and Zoey had already been infected when they were teaching Emma the new tip song. If yes, why did they just teach Emma the tip song and not infect her? Just to embarrass her mid-song when she didn’t know the rest of the dance? Or…
Thomas Sanders Voice – Theory Time
So at the end of Part 1, I established that the Hive had picked Paul to be their Hero, their star, way, way, early on at the start of their apotheosis. Once we move into Let It Out/ Inevitable I’ll talk about this more, but basically – there is a reason they want Paul to survive the start of the show. There is a reason the infected (and later McNamara) keep pressing him on what he wants. They need him to want something, so that they can get what they want, because that’s how the Worrisome Wombles (LiB) work. They want him to want to destroy them, so he can be with Emma – that’s his drive. They’re very aware that without a want, they may not be able to manipulate him to do what they need.
Therefore it’s very possible that if Nora and Zoey had been infected early on, yet hadn’t infected Emma, it was because they were sure Emma would be the “thing” that Paul wants – they want their star of the show and they think they know who they can use to get it. /End of theory
Promise me you’ll think about the implications.
@abiimaryy can I just post your one post that perfectly encapsulates that Starkid definitely did not think about the implications of that line when they wrote it? We’ve all long gone past the point of no return.
“Cup of Roasted Coffee” is track 4 on Now That’s What I Call Coffee. “Poisoned Coffee” is the album hidden track that you must play 20 minutes of silence to find. Is this an old person reference now?
I also fully believe the coffee shop patrons were already beginning to be infected when the song began. Sure they were poisoned and their coffee contained the blue goo but the “in-time coffee cup dancing” and exaggerated synchronous sips is just too on the nose. Their infections begun, they just needed that dose of poisoned coffee to kill them off to fully take them over.
At this point the Hive are still not particularly violent – ignoring the fact they kill three men with poisoned coffee in broad daylight.
The cat is clearly not a secret Eldritch being
There’s nothing I love more than a fourth wall break, and Starkid have regularly establish fourth walls do not exist in their universes. I can’t decide which is more telling of some kind of Hatchetfield link with the audience, Jon and Lauren wandering through the alley, or Joey giving the audience member an apple. There is a wonderful theory that the audience is part of the B&W which @wolvesandvoices put into words here: x
“I didn’t think about the implications!” – me thinking back to that time 12 years ago when I discovered something called Harry Potter the musical by someone called Starkid. They were a funny group of people – wonder what they’re all doing now.
Paul’s work friends one by one popping out of the trash cans is hilarious, but its notable again that Mr Davidson was infecting people in his office – Bill notes that people kept coming out singing. On my first watch I didn’t really take note of this, and just assumed Paul got out of the office before Mr Davidson could infect him, but taking into account the theories mentioned above and previously, this line just reaffirms that the Hive do not yet want Paul infected.
Who is the latte hottay? Answers on a postcard.
These aren’t spirit fingers... THESE are spirit fingers
Ted really doesn’t fully grasp the severity of what is happening around him. The police are singing at you Ted, I don’t think they’re too fussed about your ID.
I don’t really have much to say about Show Me Your Hands – it doesn’t really add much to theory fodder until the end. That’s not to say I don’t love it, its one of my top songs in the show (tho I think all of the songs are in my top songs… I’m very indecisive). Shout out to Mariah’s dry delivery of “the cat is dead” and Robert’s siren noises. My sincere hope is that in a future Hatchetfield production there is a need for a siren sound effect, and it is just a recording of Robert.
Charlotte touched the brain. The blue brain. The brain covered in goo. Pokey’s blue goo. I’m sure that’s fine and has no ramifications later in the show.
It is at this moment on my first watch that I realised how much Charlotte’s voice in this show sounds like Judy Garland.
Oh Hidgens. He’s finally arrived. Does he need an introduction? From what I have seen from a lot of posts as people discover TGWDLM, a lot of people know about Hidgens before they even know what the show is about. Which you know what, fair. I’m sure Hidgens would be thrilled to discover his legacy. I feel like it’s obvious, but I am assuming Robert intended Hidgens to sound like Doc from Back to the Future? Hmmm, a kooky “academic” who has an accident and ends up with a vision of something that could change the world. Great Scott!
Hidgens, my dear, please don’t gesture to yourself while holding a gun.
Ok, so Hidgens theorised this exact scenario thirty years ago. I believe it has been established this happened when he was struck by lightning. Now, lightning is used a LOT in Hatchetfield shows, and I did mention briefly here, that it could possibly be a play on the trope that in books and movies, the “creature comes alive” from a bolt of lightning. Certainly the meteor is accompanied by a storm, which does make me believe that Hidgens was granted the vision by someone from the Black and White. Theories:
Pokey sent him the vision because he knew that it would entice Hidgens eventually due to his love of musical theatre.
Webby sent him the vision in the misplaced hope that he would work on finding a solution
I also found a tweet by Nick which states that initially Hidgens was supposed to talk about the 1518 Dancing Plague which honestly – what does this mean. Was this plague originally intended to be an early attempt by Pokey to infect the world?
Hidgens touched the brain. The blue brain. The brain covered in goo. Pokey’s blue goo. I’m sure that’s fine and has no ramifications later in the show.
I posted a while back about the concept that Hidgens actually got infected early in the show, which has further implications for the likes of Charlotte also, but for now I’ll just post this really succinct theory by @westcoastbroadway: x
Hatchetfield High Homework:
What other songs would feature on Now That’s What I Call Coffee?
Consider an AU where Prof Hidgens and Doc Brown are swapped. How different would TGWDLM and Back to the Future be?
Once again, follow the wonderful people mentioned in the post.
See you in part 3 for Charlotte Theories and sad Bill time.
#the guy who didn't like musicals#tgwdlm#hatchetfield#hatchetfield theory#hatchetfield theories#starkid would totally do this#team starkid#return to hatchetfield town

The tunnels are hard fart over now because and it's fighting actually not farting so that's how she works and she's smart. And for real he has arrested and thrown in jail for federal crimes and during the interview it's just an ass
-other items for discussion no things are happening they're big they are talking about getting our son funding and for real and they're sick of these imbeciles and it's more than just the empire it is actually the suit of empire and foreigners and they're going to put a package together today to try and get people to approve it and you're going to see these people saying no and during the way and they should have done it a while ago in there past that window so I'm going to publish it's important

I can't stand Trump at all and he's gotten worse than he was and I'll tell you what he was really bad as Jen I saw her first hand I was sitting there mistreating my husband and my husband was just say stuff to him if like why don't you shut up. His reaction was negative and my husband would say stuff then we're going to have to do something about that they were up to lake Winnipesaukee and he started to s*** and he said this is a big lake isn't it the a****** would not shut up and now he's going up to a lake region and he's going to get killed over and over and yeah you Trump you an idiot you don't even know where serious it's going to happen and we can take you out practically anywhere nobody thinks I do anything I'm wondering around killing your ass like 50 times and taking out big huge hords of you in Mexico they still don't think I do anything you're a garbage race
