Anyway, yes i do have a pairing for TMFU and it's Gaby/Illya/Napoleon and i'd like that to be 10k to 12k in words but I'll have to get back to you on the prompt details. "I thought we were friends." + Bucky/Nat/Darcy?

"I thought we were friends," Bucky said, and Darcy's brows hiked.

She exchanged a glance with Nat, who'd crossed her arms.

"Best friends," Bucky added.

"Fuck buddies?" Darcy amended, and Bucky's eyebrows lifted this time. She rose a finger to point at him. "Don't use the age card, it's pretty easy to figure out what that means."

Bucky pressed his lips together. "I'm not about to shy away from... whatever this is."

"No-one would believe you if you did," Natasha retorted. "Does that mean we don't have to fight over her?"

Darcy had never had this before, two people wanting her. She hadn't wanted it either, but they were special. A part of her wanted that -- the attention, and she wanted to know what it could be like, witnessing them literally tussle over her affection...

"She's thinking about it," Bucky said, smirking.

They were standing in Darcy's living room in a little circle, in the middle of the night. Darcy had texted them both to come around, since it was made clear on their last mission that they were all screwing, one way or another. Darcy kept waiting for the guilt to set in but she'd been having too much fun.

Bucky moved first, hand reaching out to tug her by the waist into him, Nat's mouth pulling into a grin. Darcy giggled, watching as Nat followed her. Darcy leaned up, Bucky catching her lip between his two, Nat's lips at his throat.

"Goddamn, how have we not done this before?" he murmured, and Nat drew back, catching Darcy's eye.

"See, I told you he would be in heaven," she said, and Darcy began giggle louder, Bucky's hand slipping down to give her butt a squeeze.

The married fitzdaisy + jemma for wip ask?

That one is actually the FSK, longfic part of the Pour your love on me verse. I am ashamed to say that I have almost nothing of it actually written, but instead 20+ pages of outline+research on polyamory because that fic is supposed to follow the three of them but focus a lot on Daisy and what it’s like when your significant other gets a new partner. I can offer, though, this small tidbit I wrote a long while ago and that I still love:

But then I found my parents and my real name and it was important for me to embrace my original last name. Fitz wanted to take it, too, but my parents were... sort of fucked up. I wanted my name because, good or bad, it was mine, but It wasn't his. When he gave me his last name it was a gift to me. I didn't want to give him a curse.

18. do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterizations?) tell us about them.

hmmmm, this is a really cool question but i have a brain made of swiss cheese so i’m just gonna scroll through my ao3 and see if anything jumps out at me lmao.

can i be close to you was an entirely finished draft without any of the daisy/sousa undertones but after the show ended i added it in because i thought they were really cute and there was no reason not to!

retrouvailles had like a 40% chance of eponine still dying, but i’m glad that didn’t happen lmao.

in bodies fashioned out of dirt and dust, i was considering making miriam and lyra end up dating, but i ultimately chose not to because i didn’t want to make it feel shoehorned in and it would’ve taken the focus off lyra. there might be a sequel one day where that happens though.

in the magnum opus, i was originally writing fitz WAY more like his future self, much angrier and decisive lmao. i’m glad i noticed and switched it back though, s1 was less angsty but i love s1!fitz and i’m glad i got to write him. also it’s really helped my perception of fitz’s characterization in the future, although i haven’t actually... written him in canonverse after s3? huh. i should examine that. also it was going to have four chapers and everything was going to hurt.

the landslide will bring it down was originally going to have clint and laura stay dead, i think, in its original iteration? also cooper was supposed to survive as well. but then i read a fic that mentioned lila growing up to be a black widow and i was like “ah, i know who this is gonna focus on.” 

happy at home was originally going to be a five times fic about like, five times amy was cuban, lmao. deje enterrado was going to be the +1, probably, but i didn’t have any ideas for the other four times so i scrapped it.

in blackwater woods originally had an entirely different resolution-conversation, but al, who graciously betaed for me, thought it didn’t quite work and they were right. i’m much happier with the published version lmao.

maybe we should take it slow had, like, four different versions. i wrote half of it normally, got stuck, switched to script format, finished that, then moved back to normal style and only kept like half of what i’d written in the script format. that was a Weird Fic to write.

on that bumpy road to love was originally going to have WAY more plot until i decided i wanted to publish it before s4 and wanted to keep it as canon-compliant as possible.

there’s a version of and i am feeling so small where they kiss and i’m forever upset at my past self for leaving it open-ended

a better version of you know the world is headed for hell lives in my head rent-free and one day i’ll actually write it because god i want to rewrite that fic.

take me into your loving arms will ALSO hopefully be rewritten one day to be less shippy and more “charles xavier has a family that loves him”-centric

19. is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favorite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)

i, honestly, am not as self-indulgent as i should be in my fics. like, that one scene where daisy tells jemma “give me the word and i will come from you” in the magnum opus is one of my FAVORITE SCENES I’VE EVER WRITTEN EVER. but i’m working on trying to let myself write more self-indulgent things!! tropes i cannot get enough of and want to write more of: domesticity, devoted backup-ness, domesticity, soulmate aus, domesticity, fluff, domesticity, domesticity, domesticity.

as for tropes i already write and love and should write more of: canon rewrites, outsider pov, and domesticity!!

i use a lot of “anyway”s and “also”s, lmao. i describe people smiling more than i should and am bad at physical descriptions in general. i’m getting better about being sparse about the dialogue tags, at least!
