sorry to emmrich volkarin for giving him a guy who sucks and has issues. the longer i think about v mercar the worse he gets. and yet emmrich still thinks he can fix him. the baffling thing is that it is somehow actually working

Someday you will find a fraction (or more!!) of what dnp have!! It might be a weird road but you will get there!! I met my fiancée during the pandemic at uni in the oddest way.
We were both assigned to a dorm that has shared bathrooms and the school moved us both over to the apartment-ones instead. THEN I got moved from my original room to the dorm with her ex. THEN some dumbass thought it would be smart to deep-fry an egg in the shell (idk lmao). She started a fire, we all evacuated, and fiancée and I met in the parking lot. Went back home and told her ex that “I want that one” and she helped orchestrate us hanging out. And now we’ve been living together for 4 years!
Life may throw love at you in the strangest of circumstances but it will come around :))

most cathartic moment of my life was last night when me and my sister were yapping to each other about our least favourite pieces of media ever and i showed her ONE scene from DOD3 after bitching about it for like a million hours and she was just "okay i see why you think every dod3 fan is a horrible person what the fuck is this"
#gu6chan's musings#the scene was fives death btw#i was talking about how dod3 fans would try and advertise the game to me and that's how my initial skepticism began to take hold#bc i went from 'i hear theres a THIRD game! can't wait to play it' to 'dont bring that pos up to me' after like 4 conversations#and the one that REALLY sealed the deal was having a slight idea about dito and fives relationship and then someone brought that scene up to#show how 'funny' dod3 was which first of all#HOW IS THAT A GOOD POINT YOU WANNA ADVERTISE TO SOMEONE WHO LIKED THE APOCALYPTIC NATURE OF THE FIRST TWO????#Anyways i was like 'wait isn't he an sa victim? why would they place a joke here' and they got quiet real fuckin quick#but yeah as far as THIS goes#i was yapping about how awful i felt for judging ppl by what GAMES they play (DOD3) and how it's not a good metric to judge ppls entire#personality on but somehow ended up working REALLY well given - with NO exaggeration - every dod3 fan i let in ended up being a VERY#specific brand of edgy annoying anime fan who banks off of reminding others of how 'damaged' and 'traumatised' they are every 3 seconds#and also somehow are always SWERFs????#in general awful noisy ppl who always started some shit till i was like 'you know i think im recognizing a pattern im gonna try something'#and it was WRONG but it worked????? when i brought up that our friends ex playing drakengard 3 was literally my first big red flag from her#my sister was like 'I GET IT OMG' bc she was always suprised at how quickly i was like 'this bitch is bad news'#and the answer to how i learned that was a ps3 game from 2013. i still am like 'is it right tho???' but it hasn't failed me so far so?????

Made the executive decision to not work as much as I planned, I’m already at the technical hours I need for the week (if we worked a 40 hour week ahaha) gonna finish up one thing then I’m relaxing, maybe crafts maybe writing maybe drawing

Skelos Badlands is home to a wide variety of fauna besides the Bonebuilders. Keep quiet (and out of sight) and you can safely (probably) hear any one of these local creatures: catbats, lava toads, fire wizards, pterodactyls, lava lizards...

#HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII it's Spyro 2'o'clock time again#Spyro The Dragon#Spyro Soundscapes#Ripto's Rage Soundscapes#Spyro#Soundscapes#yes this is definitely Not Quite In-Line with the largely location-based soundscapes of this endeavor#but in watching footage of this level to figure out what all i wanted to cover#it really hit me how damn huge the creature variety in Skelos Badlands is?#most other levels will have One or Two MAYBE three different creatures as enemy types (ex. Lizards in Glimmer; Yaks & Goats in Colossus)#(and a lot of the time not all of them are something that i can work into these generators)#but the Badlands have both Catbats and Fire Wizards as the two standard enemies#plus the Lava Toads as a vehicle for a collection quest#plus PLUS the Lava Lizards that only exist for the other pair of orb challenges in this level#PLUS PLUS PLUS the pterodactyls that are only onscreen to deliver the second bunch of Lizard eggs for Round 2#off the top of my head i think the only level in this game that can compare in Non-Ally NPC Creature Diversity is Metropolis?#so i felt this was a more apt approach than trying to sprinkle all these different sounds in other Skelos Badlands soudscapes#a la ones like Cliffside Pastures or Valley Flock

my most unpopular hi3 opinion is probably just that i like how hi3 has comics i think second eruption would have been a lot less compelling if it was portrayed the way early hi3 was developed. i also like being able to see the details before the main trio's time because it solidifies the story as something bigger than those three characters, even though the game starts off focusing on those three. i do think the visual novels could have been chronicles though. but its also like. we wouldnt have the beautiful art for 7s......

Do you have a favorite card game? My family plays double deck euchre with a pinochle deck. I have yet to meet anyone outside the family who knows about it or plays it.
*Asks are sent for fun, no pressure to answer within a certain amount of time or at all.
I was gonna answer one a day but this one is too funny to wait: my dad's favourite game is also euchre! He runs a weekly euchre night at the pub 3 doors down from our house that has over 100 members on Meetup, Meet-up,! They usually just run single deck euchre unless they don't have even groups of four.
I'm a big fan of rummy/gin rummy, and I've been teaching myself whist with cardgames.io . I'd like to learn how to play pichet, but there isn't an emulator and ai for it on that site, and no one I know irl wants to learn an 18th century French card game with approx thirty thousand rules.
