Okay I'm gonna take a moment to get sappy as hell because ATEEZ concerts always do this to me but... I wish I could meet all eight members in person and just. Shower them in praise. I want to tell them directly how incredible they are. Not just as people, but as performers. Artists.
One thing about ATEEZ, they have never been stagnant. Thinking back to their first tour and comparing it to the one their on now is just crazy. Each tour has gotten more and more elaborate and the venue sizes just continue to grow. It's so clear how dedicated ATEEZ are to being the absolute best performers they can be. I'll always remember when one member said in an interview that they always try to make their stages memorable, because it could be someone's first or last time seeing them -- and they always follow through. ATEEZ are in their own league when it comes to performances. They tell stories through their stages, taking on the roles of different characters for every song and showing atinys their entire range of emotion.
I'm going to be completely honest. In my several years of being a kpop fan, there a lot of performances that I think are great; but ATEEZ have absolutely taken the cake. Their performances are alive, they always give 1000%, they sing completely LIVE, on top of that, their stages are full on theater sets. I feel so much whenever I watch them perform. I get so immersed, watching them pour their heart and soul into everything, down to the little details. If you look up the definition of passion in the dictionary you'll see a photo of ATEEZ. They are the perfect example of what it means to be dedicated to one's craft. You can tell they want nothing more than to continue to improve, and they DO, always outdoing themselves with every comeback. Their involvement in their own work is also extremely admirable. Hongjoong and Mingi being so dedicated to producing and song writing, and of course with their latest album, all of the members got to show of their song writing skills and blew all of us away with their lyricism. And then of course there's moments on stage.
We often here about how ideas for certain performances on stage come from the members themselves (a lot of times, Seonghwa, lol) and it's just so--excuse my French--FUCKING obvious that this is more than just a job to them. They don't do the bare minimum on stage to get paid. No, it's clear that ATEEZ love what they do so much, possibly more than anything. They were born to be on stage. I know it's kinda cheesy, and I don't even really believe in fate-- but there was definitely some magic that happened when the eight of them united.
ATEEZ are so hard-working, so goal-oriented, so in love with performing and creating memorable experiences for their fans. I'm honestly so blessed to be alive at the same time as them, because I am HERE to witness their amazing artistry.
This is just another long ass ramble post that more than likely won't be seen by anyone but if it just so happens that someone who's contemplating stanning ATEEZ sees this-- this is your SIGN. You will never turn back. You won't want to turn back. You've never seen a group give their all until you’ve met ATEEZ. Your expectations will be exceeded every single time with them. The bar will be raised higher than you ever thought it could be. Put aside your judgements. Don't ignore them just because they're 4th gen. The hate train for ATEEZ exists purely out of intimidation and jealousy. But once you open your eyes to them and see what they're all about and how much they give back to their fans... you'll see why people are intimidated. You'll see why people even just want a fraction of their success. And when you come to learn that their growth was organic, stemming not from being handed things on a silver platter but because of genuine goddamn talent, you'll say "oh. OH. I see. This is what the hype is about."
They came from a small, unheard of company, and faced so many difficulties, but didn't let that stop or even slow them. From performing on the streets to putting on elaborate shows for Towards the Light; it's all deserved.
End of my long ass ramble post sjsusgsbdu I LOVE MY ATEEZ HERE'S TO A SAFE AND FUN TOUR 💕 ❤

Know what's amazing tho is that I completely 1000% expected to be disappointed. I knew from the beginning I would hate it. I was just going to ignore it, honestly. Wasn't even gonna share anything about it, really... but just the levels of disappointment that were exceeded here is blowing my mind.
I just... there are no words honestly. Like I already didn't expect anything and it exceeded that. Seriously I applaud it because there were some masterful levels of fuck you in that ending there, and even just throughout from what I'm seeing, but especially that ending.
I have reached a level of mind-blown I didn't think possible. I only thought I was all the way disappointed, but nope there was more than even I considered. I can only laugh really because touche... tou-fucking-che JD you got me fucked up thinking about that end.

Thread: The Power Problem
By: Anonymous Poster 14 Joor ago
How unfortunate it is that I once again must address my fellow citizens. I simply had to know if any of you had noticed the latest breach on our freedoms bestowed upon us by our elected officials: Blasphemy laws. No longer are we permitted to speak our thoughts openly and honestly regarding the ‘sacred’ institution of the Primes.
I was able to secure a copy and thus, will share a direct quote from the legislation’s summary; ”Whoever broadcasts (i.e. communicates)... views including ridicule, contempt, or belittlement of the standing Prime or his Legacy — whether it is to challenge beliefs, practices, rituals, or teachings — is punished with imprisonment for a period of time not exceeding 1 vorn, and a fine not exceeding 1000 shanix, or either of those two punishments."
Let me ask you this, fellow citizens: What is the Legacy of the Prime? The most plain definition of ‘legacy’ is ‘something passed down.’ I would have you ask yourselves why they chose this specific word in this legislation. What, exactly, has been passed down to us by Optimus Prime? I can answer that question for you.
The first in the Legacy of Optimus Prime was the reinstatement of the Council, a system many of us know is easily corruptible, along with granting a singular mech as his Primal Steward. His next agenda was to reinstate the Elite Guard, those brainwashed trained to be loyal to the Prime alone.
How convenient is it that they wait until an elite force loyal to only one mech has been fully established before passing this law? The Elite Guard, passed down to us by our Prime, his “Legacy” cannot be criticized without fear of punishment. The average mech now has no room to vent frustrations about the inane legislations passed by our council members, for they too are the Legacy of the Prime. What of the Prime himself? Are we to place him on a golden pedestal and only sing of his praise?
What is the average citizen to do? Simple. They expect us to keep our helms down and our intakes shut while they continue to chip away at the freedoms this was fought over to begin with. Ask yourselves how much more they plan to take from us. First it is our thoughts, our speech, and then what?
They passed this legislation roughly three deca-cylces ago and already, according to their own records, there have been 217 individual arrests made under this new law. I encourage each and every one of you to make the trip to the Hall of Records and ask for a copy of the newly passed Article 115 if you are able. Write your Council members, voice your discontent. If we allow them to silence our voices there will be little to stop them from taking even more from us.

My Latest Warzone Gaming PC Activities
Tumblr media
After spending countless hours in the peaceful realms of Minecraft, I recently found myself yearning for something more intense, something that would get my heart racing and my competitive spirit soaring. That's when I decided to jump back into Warzone—a game that, for me, offers the perfect combination of adrenaline-pumping action and tactical gameplay. There's just something about the fast-paced environment and the thrill of outsmarting opponents that I missed dearly. In this article, I'll take you through my latest Warzone gaming activities, why I returned to the game, and the top five things I love doing when I'm fully immersed in the world of Warzone.
But before we dive into the gameplay, I want to share a bit about the gaming PC that's been my trusty companion during these Warzone sessions. I've been using a Warzone gaming PC from 3B Systems, a company that offers affordable yet powerful gaming setups, and I can't wait to tell you all about it!
Back to Warzone
For a while, my gaming time was dominated by the blocky, creative world of Minecraft. It was a nice break—building, exploring, and surviving without the pressure of fierce competition. But after a while, I started to miss the rush that only a fast-paced FPS like Warzone could provide. There's something incredibly satisfying about outmanoeuvring opponents, landing that perfect shot, and feeling your pulse quicken as you’re the last player standing. So, I dusted off my Warzone skills and dove back into the battlefield. Here's how it’s been going.
Why I Missed Warzone's Competitive Edge
Minecraft is relaxing, no doubt about it. But Warzone offers a completely different experience. It's all about quick thinking, sharp reflexes, and a keen understanding of tactics. Every match is a test of skill and strategy, with the added bonus of that ever-present adrenaline boost that comes from knowing a single mistake could end your run. It's this mix of challenge and excitement that kept pulling me back. I craved the high-stakes nature of Warzone, where every decision could mean the difference between victory and defeat.
The Role of My 3B Systems Warzone Gaming PC
To make the most of my Warzone experience, I knew I needed a gaming PC that could keep up with the intense demands of the game. That’s where my PC from 3B Systems comes in. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed, especially considering the affordable price point. For as little as £1000, 3B Systems offers gaming PCs that are not only fast and reliable but also capable of running all your favourite games, from Minecraft and Fortnite to Baldur’s Gate and beyond. My Warzone sessions have been smooth and lag-free, with stunning graphics and quick load times, allowing me to focus entirely on my gameplay.
Customer Reviews of 3B Systems
To give you a better idea of what others think about 3B Systems, here are some customer reviews:
John from London: "I was sceptical at first, but 3B Systems exceeded my expectations. My PC runs all my favourite games without a hitch. Best £500 I’ve ever spent!"
Sarah from Manchester: "As a casual gamer, I didn’t want to spend too much. 3B Systems provided the perfect balance of performance and affordability. Highly recommended!"
Tom from Birmingham: "I’ve been using my 3B Systems PC for months now, and it’s been flawless. Warzone runs smoothly, and the graphics are top-notch."
Emily from Leeds: "Great customer service and a fantastic product. I’ve been able to play everything from Fortnite to Baldur’s Gate with no issues at all."
Chris from Glasgow: "If you’re looking for an affordable gaming PC, 3B Systems is the way to go. Mine has been running like a dream."
Alex from Bristol: "Fast, reliable, and affordable. What more could you ask for? My 3B Systems PC handles Warzone perfectly."

Five Things I Love Doing in Warzone
Now that you know why I returned to Warzone and the awesome gaming PC I’m using, let’s talk about what I actually do in the game. Warzone is packed with opportunities for excitement and strategy, and here are my top five favourite activities:
1. Dropping into Hot Zones
One of the most exhilarating parts of Warzone is the initial drop. I love choosing the hottest zones on the map—the places where I know the action will be intense from the get-go. There's nothing quite like the rush of landing amidst chaos, scrambling for weapons, and immediately engaging in combat. It’s a test of both skill and nerves, and it sets the tone for the rest of the match.
2. Mastering Loadouts and Strategies
Warzone isn’t just about quick reflexes; it’s also a game of strategy. I spend a lot of time fine-tuning my loadouts to make sure I have the right tools for every situation. Whether it’s a long-range sniper build for those tense standoffs or a close-quarters SMG setup for when the fight gets up close and personal, having the perfect loadout can make all the difference. I also enjoy experimenting with different strategies, like deciding when to engage and when to retreat, which routes to take, and how to best use the environment to my advantage.
3. Engaging in Epic Squad Battles
Warzone is fun solo, but it’s even better when you’re part of a well-coordinated squad. I love the teamwork aspect, where communication and strategy come together to outsmart the other teams. Whether we’re planning an ambush, providing covering fire, or reviving a downed teammate, the camaraderie and shared victories (or losses) make these battles some of the most memorable moments in the game.
4. Exploring Different Game Modes
One of the things that keeps Warzone fresh is the variety of game modes available. From the classic Battle Royale to Plunder, Resurgence, and more, each mode offers a different experience. I enjoy switching things up and trying out new modes, each requiring its own set of strategies and skills. It keeps the gameplay dynamic and prevents it from ever feeling stale.
5. Chasing the Victory Royale
Of course, the ultimate goal in Warzone is to come out on top. The thrill of being the last player or team standing is unmatched, and it’s what drives me to keep improving my skills. Every victory feels earned, a result of smart play, quick thinking, and a bit of luck. That moment when the screen flashes "Victory" is always a highlight and makes all the effort worth it.
3B Systems: Affordable and Reliable Gaming PCs
Before I wrap up, I want to give a special shoutout to 3B Systems. As I mentioned earlier, this company offers some of the best deals on gaming PCs, making high-performance gaming accessible to everyone. For just £500, you can get a PC that’s not only powerful enough to run games like Warzone, Minecraft, Fortnite, and Baldur’s Gate but also built to last. The systems are fast, reliable, and backed by excellent customer service, making them a fantastic choice for gamers on a budget.
The Thrill of Warzone on a Powerful Gaming PC
Getting back into Warzone has reminded me why I love competitive gaming so much. The excitement, the strategy, and the sheer joy of a hard-fought victory are experiences you just can’t get from more casual games. And with a reliable gaming PC from 3B Systems, I’ve been able to enjoy all of this without any technical hiccups. Whether you’re a seasoned Warzone player or someone looking to jump into the action, having the right setup makes all the difference.
And that's why I love playing Warzone. Stay tuned for more content!

Ask game, 14 and 21 :)
14. A fic you didn't expect to write
While I already answered this before, it honestly has more than one answer.
In this case, "Point of Pride." I mentioned previously that writing it was an extremely last-minute decision, in an attempt to help the Fic Challenge I was in get closer to 1000 posted works. In that Challenge I had already met my requirements. I'd actually even exceeded it by a lot already, with my official assignments.
See, for Fic In A Box, there's an option to write for more than one recipient. Without getting into the rules/etc, I had opted to try to write for every other 40k writer who was participating. There were six of us total, and so that would mean five people. I was already planning on doing two different stories to the person I had officially been assigned, so that meant six stories.
And then, as you may know, I ran into a lot of health issues. I took a serious look at my projects and decided to order them in what I felt I could complete, to what I couldn't. I had started a piece for I_Cant_Say (the recipient of Point of Pride), but I knew I did not have the time to pull the piece off to my satisfaction.
So, I shelved it. I hated the idea of not writing something for her, but I knew I needed to take care of my health. (And she would also want me to take care of my health.) Thanks to my other stories going over as well as other stories for her going over on the wordcount, I wasn't going to have to worry about defaulting. And I'll come back to that story idea at some point, but not now.
Anyways. Then it's two days before the reveals, and it's suggested we try to reach 1000 posted works. I know that I cannot finish the fic I started in time. But I look at her prompts again to see if there's something that I can write quickly. (My original choice had been a pairing I haven't written before.)
And I found it. I knew I could write something for Raldoron, Amit, and Azkaellon quickly somehow involving RPF. It was funny, I had experience writing them, and I knew I could do it quickly. So, I did. I barely got it in before the reveal.
In all my plans for possible fics for the recipients, this had never been on my radar until the last possible moment.
21. Most memorable comment/review
When doing fic challenges, I got assigned to two different writers that I deeply respect and admire their work. (To be clear, everyone I got assignments for are lovely and great, but due to varying levels of how well I knew them, The Anxiety(tm) kicked into different levels.) I was so, so, so nervous because they are so great and I've only just started writing for 40k this year, and would they like what I made???
Well, they did. And their comments on the stories I could tell were heartfelt. The most important part of writing a Gift is that the Giftee likes it. I could tell they did.

[1000 Dreams] Fate
Tumblr media
"...." Out in the distance, Izanami was looking out to the horizon of Spear Pillar.
Tumblr media
Heidi was on the other side of Spear Pillar. She... doesn't remember when she got here... but that didn't matter, either. Heidi pulled out the Legend Plate and continued to look at Izanami.
Tumblr media
Izanami was in her unbound state, waiting for her.
Tumblr media
Heidi walked up to Izanami. The two of them turned around and looked in the distance. Much of the Sinnoh Region was able to be seen, with the sunset casting a warming light upon the area.
Tumblr media
"You know..."
"Hm?"
"I have been fated to die for some time now, little one."
"What do you mean?"
"...There has been a timer on my life ever since I created this world. Long ago, far before I met you, a much younger version of me peered into the future to determine if Izanagi and I would ever come together again. Despite everything that happened... despite the abuse and the trouble that he caused me, I looked into the future to figure out if he and I would ever be together again -- like old times.... but what I saw was much... much worse."
Tumblr media
"I noticed that no matter the timeline... no matter the course of events, I was bound to perish.... Sent to die long before the expiration of my world... long before I could truly return to my old normalcy... and, even if I were to make things up with Izanagi, it would never evolve into a full relationship before my eventual demise. It was... heartbreaking.... Gut-wrenching, even."
"Oh.. Nami...."
"..." Izanami shook her head. "I... I tried everything that I could to fight it. I tried defying every fate that I could.... I tried destroying a previous iteration of this current realm.... I tried seeking help from other passerby Arceus and Dialga. Even when Icathia, your Dialga, appeared to me, I attempted finding a way to prolong my life.... All was for nought -- as nothing could stop my impending doom. Then, when I met your Mother, I... I knew all was lost. Either I would perish by her hand, or soon after by her followers."
"...."
Tumblr media
"...but then, you regained your memories, and I met you -- the original you. You remember that day, yes?"
Tumblr media
"I... I do. It was the first time everything started making sense for me. 1,000 years of lost memories rushing back at the sight of her..."
"Yes! Well, it was then when I confirmed just how special you were. You were not the only one to have an epiphany that day, child. You inspired me.... You were proof to me that even if fate would be cruel to me, that, maybe, there was a chance for the rest of you to live. I was not sure how I could do just having the motivation to figure something out was much more important than the alternative."
"...So, you decided to have me take over in your stead."
Izanami nodded. "Yes. I gave you Ghost as an offering, but also to see if you were worthy enough to wield a Creator's power. I watched as you bonded with it and learned how the ability to create on your own... how you discovered you susceptibility to Shadow energy and made peace with it.... How there is still yet more of you to learn. You have exceeded all of my expectations and then some. This is why I am confident that my -- no -- our world will be safe under your guidance."
"Nami...." Heidi was extremely touched. Honestly, she was at a loss for words.
Tumblr media
"...Once you gave me that realization, I decided that it was finally time to go. Even though I cannot stop my fate, I could always go out on my terms. That is why I challenged your mother. I... I wanted to know. I wanted to see if her conviction to her goal was as strong as yours... to see if she truly considered her actions noble and just. I would perish, but I would at least get the answers that I searched for with her."
"...And her answer?"
"...It... did not disappoint. I now understand why you saw her as an inspiration, even if her ideals are directly opposed to yours or mine."
Heidi smiled at Izanami. There wasn't much to say to that.
Tumblr media
".... That is why... I must make a request to you to accept once you ascent the Holy Halls of my -- well, your -- domain."
"Hm?"
"I understand that the circumstances of my death has become a burden upon all of my children -- created or otherwise... and that falling to your mother in battle will continually disturb her peace with Dawn until the day she dies, whether due to scorn or revenge attempts."
"Actually--"
Izanami interrupted Heidi, grabbing her hand and looking up at the young Latias.
Tumblr media
"But you must not fault her for her actions! Do not use my death as the spearhead of revenge. Do not blind yourself to the sorrows of loss. You are bright -- as bright as she is. Your conviction and determination to keep everyone safe. You must preserve and protect it at all costs."
"My... determination, huh?"
"Yes."
Tumblr media
Heidi couldn't help but bring a smile to her face. Heidi knelt down to meet the Creator eye-to-eye. "Thank you, Nami. Hearing all of this from you was... nice. Though, I never truly blamed your death on Friede in the first place."
"Huh?"
Tumblr media
"Nami. I've known you for six years now. I know that no matter what you get yourself into, you always have a good reason of doing so. So, when I learned of the duel and of your passing, I... didn't blame her. Sure, I mourned your passing. Heck, still kinda am to be honest.... But I know you. I know that your decision to go was on your terms and because you wished it to, even before learning all of this."
"...Heidi...." Now, she's tempted to cry.
"...Thank you, Nami. Thank you for all that you've done for us. Thank you for giving me a place to stay... for giving Lauren and I a chance in your world. Thank you for trusting me enough to give me this responsibility. I promise that the determination and conviction that you've seen will not fade, even after all of this is over... and that you can rest well knowing that I can take care of things in your place."
Tumblr media
Okay, NOW she's crying. "Oh, my little starchild!" Izanami hugged Heidi as hard as she could. "Look at you, making a dead woman cry in the afterlife. How dare--"
Heidi chuckled and returned the hug. "I love you too, Nami. I love you too."

Insecurities | Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Request: hello you are one of my fave authors here i super love your works. can i req for a r x natasha where reader has this visual disorder (like her eyes' grade was 1000 and has astigmatism) thats why reader were wearing eye glasses for a long time then this moment when the team was asking for a picture reader takes off her glasses bc she had low self esteem, nat comforts her. thank you and i'll patiently wait for this ❤️
Word Count: 1.6k
Content Warnings: angst with happy ending, low self-esteem, reader is very insecure, some strong language, natasha is the best
A/N: i am so sorry anon this took so long but i hope you like it! fellow glasses wearers rise! this honestly lowkey turned into a bit of a vent but we aren't going to talk about that. i finally got another fic out after months i'm so sorry, but i think i've managed to get passed the writers block and i have motivation to write now! so send in requests or whatever, and expect more fics.
Tumblr media
You had always been insecure. Ever since you were young, you hadn’t ever found yourself liking the way you look. Sometimes it even felt like your insecurities had been engrained into your DNA, so you’d always feel this way. You had always had terrible vision, and have been wearing glasses for practically your entire life, which is likely one of the main causes of your low self esteem.
It wasn’t as if glasses were the beauty standard either. Any time you opened a magazine, or looked on Instagram, none of the celebrities or models you saw wore glasses. If, by chance, a character in a film did wear glasses, they were mainly seen as the nerdy, geeky, weird and annoying outcast. None of the popular or 'beautiful' characters ever wore glasses. It sucked. Big time.
Despite that, you’d have to say it’s quite ironic how you were more than likely seen as a nerd in high school. You were extraordinarily smart, exceeding in all of your classes and being the top of the class in each one almost effortlessly. So, it was to no one’s surprise that you were smart enough to get a job as a SHIELD agent. You weren’t a field agent and you didn’t do hand to hand combat - your vision and glasses would’ve caused too much problems (contacts were too expensive, and you didn’t much like them either) - so you were one of the agents who hacked into databases and gathered intel.
At SHIELD is where you met who would unknowingly become your future girlfriend, Natasha Romanoff. To be completely honest, sometimes you sit and wonder how you had managed to make her fall for you. You certainly weren’t anything extraordinary, you were average (or less than average, in your opinion) but her? Natasha Romanoff had to be the most gorgeous, angelic and sweetest person you had ever met. You had fallen for her as soon as her eyes met yours.
Fellow SHIELD agents had warned you about the Black Widow; ‘she’s incredibly intimidating’, ‘someone once said she made multiple men piss themselves out of fear’, ‘she’s so scary, I would hate to get on her bad side’. While that part is, admittedly, true, under her hard exterior you saw someone who loved her family and friends unequivocally and would not hesitate to die protecting them.
She was the best girlfriend you could’ve ever asked for. She showered you with love and gifts that you didn’t need, she knew exactly how to cheer you up and she remembered the little things that you couldn’t even remember telling her. But you didn’t deserve her. She deserved better. You saw the way people looked at you, ‘why is she with them? what does she see in them?’, whether out of jealousy or spite, it didn’t matter, because you couldn’t help but believe them. No matter how many times Natasha tells you differently.
Tumblr media
Dating an Avenger meant that you usually got to join in when the team have ‘fun days’, and you’ve practically been dubbed Honorary Avenger at this point. The team had the day off and had so decided to take a trip to an amusement park. You had split up into separate cars. In your one; Sam was driving, Steve was shotgun, you, Natasha and Peter were in the back. Peter had complained he’d been shoved in this car so ‘the adults could babysit him even though he’s old enough to take care of himself’.
It was going great, music was blasting, everyone was laughing and telling jokes and Nat had packed some snacks for everyone. That is, until it wasn’t going so great for you.
“Isn’t that right, specky?” Steve guffawed after telling a story about some form of shenanigans you had got up to one night when you were drunk. You couldn’t remember it, but it was the nickname that had made your smile falter and your voice quieten to a whisper. Even though you had been called it as a joke for most of your life, and you knew Steve only meant it as such, it also targeted your biggest insecurity. Jokes that target insecurities aren’t funny, at least to you.
Natasha had instantly noticed your change in demeanour. She put a comforting arm around your shoulder and turned her gaze momentarily to glare at Steve, “Steve,” she said, her tone stern. The atmosphere in the car immediately tensed, and Sam quietly turned the music down.
“What?” Steve asked, “It was just a joke!”
“That wasn’t fun-“
You interrupted Natasha, “It’s fine, really,”
She looked at you, and you could tell she didn’t believe you. You squeezed her free hand reassuringly, “I promise,” she still wasn’t convinced, but dropped it either way. You were quiet for the rest of the car ride.
Tumblr media
Upon arrival at the amusement park, Tony had gathered the entire team in for a group photo. He had asked a random woman to take the photo, who looked equally starstruck and scared to be in front of and taking a photo of the Avengers.
"Y/N, you should take your glasses off!" Tony suggested as he handed the woman his phone and got into line.
Your head whipped towards him, "What?"
He shrugged nonchalantly, "It's just a suggestion, we've never saw you without them before,"
You merely nodded as you felt Natasha's hand squeeze yours, you glanced at her to find her looking at you with a soft smile on her face. You knew each other well enough that sometimes conversation wasn't needed, and you knew she was telling you to only take them off if you were comfortable.
You drew in a deep breath before carefully taking off your glasses, your vision immediately going blurry - it was impossible for you to see anything around you - but at least it was only for the photo. You placed them gently into your pocket. Natasha squeezed your hand again at the same time the woman said, "Say cheese!"
The only sound that filled your ears was all of the Avengers and you saying a chorus of 'Cheese!'. You had a big smile on your face, even though deep inside you your insecurities were gnawing away at you. Tony ran to check the photo as you put your glasses back on, following the rest of the team to see it.
They all tried to gather around Tony, crowding over a tiny phone to see a tiny photo - which obviously wasn't working - so Tony resorted to passing the phone to each person so everyone could get a chance to see it clearly. When it was your turn, your eyes immediately went to you, and you had to stifle a sigh. Once again, you saw nothing worth being called beautiful. Natasha beside you was radiant, the massive smile she had on was one of pure happiness due to being surrounded by the people she loved. She was glowing. You looked dull beside her. You quickly gave the phone to Peter, who was standing beside you, wanting to see it.
Natasha instantly knew something was wrong. "Go on ahead, we'll catch up," she said to the rest of the team who walked away, giving you two some privacy.
"Y/N," she said, standing in front of you.
You avoided her gaze, "Hm?"
The redhead let out a sigh before cupping your cheeks, forcing your gaze to focus on her, "You know I love you, right?"
You didn't answer, so she continued, "You're beautiful," you scoffed but before you could say anything she cut in, "no, really, you're gorgeous. Not just outside, but inside. You have such a beautiful soul. You are so kind to everyone, and everyone who knows you absolutely adores you. Trust me, I've heard the team and SHIELD agents talk about how amazing you are. I'm not bullshitting you. You are so smart, honestly the most intelligent person I've ever met and on top of that you are so pretty," she could tell you didn't believe her, but she pushed on, "listen to me, you only see yourself when your posing for photos, you don't see yourself when you have a genuine, real smile on your face, or when you're laughing at something funny, or when you have a spark in your eye because you're doing something you love. But I do. I see you in those rare moments, and in those moments I swear to you I think you must have been an angel sent down from heaven. It was only inevitable that I was going to fall for you."
By the end of Natasha's rant, tears had sprung to your eyes. She said it with so much ferocity, so much conviction, that you couldn't help but believe her.
"Plus," she kissed the tip of your nose, "I think your glasses are adorable. You might hate them, but some people love them enough to buy fake glasses when they don't even need them,"
She had a point. You smiled at her and she returned the smile, her hand moving down to grab yours. You entwined your hands together, "I love you," you said, placing a chaste kiss on her temple.
"I love you most, now let's go catch up with the team,"
You both walked hand in hand, shortly catching up with the team as they hadn't made it very far (Thor saw a cotton candy stand and insisted everyone get one). You were feeling a lot better than you had 10 minutes ago, the words Natasha said to you repeating in your head, squashing the insecurities that had plagued your mind today. Sometimes you wondered how you ended up with such an incredible girlfriend.

PAIRING : sukuna x fem!reader
SUMMARY : when an exchange student comes to jujutsu tech, Itadori is set on finding out why the King of curses is so interested in you.
TAGS : fluff, the tiniest bit of angst, jjk anime spoilers, some curse words, reader is described as a black female
NOTES : i’ve read a couple of works where sukuna meets his reincarnated lover so I wanted to try it out too, hope you enjoy. was supposed to make progress with my wips but I was in a sukuna mood. (◕ᴗ◕✿)
Tumblr media
Sukuna feels your presence before he sees you. It’s one of those cliché moments where time puts its hand up to signal a standstill. Yuuji can feel it too when you pass by, your long braids swishing with each step.
He’s sure that he’s never seen you before but his shared body buzzes in remembrance. All the while, his emotions are overtaken by the unbridled feeling of wanting.
After that, Itadori never took it upon himself to ask Sukuna about the matter because the curse didn’t seem to want to.
Sukuna had become more and more suppressed, his usual pop-ups were a rare occurrence, even when Megumi was around. However, for the whole month you’d been at Jujutsu Tech, the King of curses had been intent on observing from his throne of woven carcasses, body hunched over to just watch.
You’re an exchange student, Itadori recalls Gojo’s past conversation about a new second-year that would be coming from the states. You’re strong — at first, Itadori couldn’t help but think that this revelation was the reason for Sukuna’s interest —your cursed energy being perfect sediment for close combat and dealing precise blows, all the same, Itadori could feel a grappling hook of something that seemed to be festering.
It’s dark and brooding and it stirs every time you come into contact with him. And Yuuji thinks he might go crazy because he wants to know your connection with Sukuna and it’s not like he can ask you because your aura screams — unapproachable.
His chance comes when all the first-years are assigned to a mission, you're there for extra measure. Gojo’s shaman instincts telling him that this mission was far too exceeding for him, Nobara, and Megumi.
Though just as Gojo predicted, it goes terribly wrong and Itadori keels over with an empty hollow where his heart should be.
His last thoughts are consumed with a screeching mantra of his late grandfather’s words. In the crevice of his flickering mind, they're big bold letters that drip with poisoned regret.
Before his vision goes black, the last thing he sees is a heart-broken Megumi and your face which is flooded with guilt.
When Itadori comes face to face with the King of curses, the stench of rotting death overpowering his senses, he mulls over the terms laid out by Sukuna to come back, alive.
To be reunited with his friends and become some type of savior —sukuna's words, not his— he'd give up the reigns of his body so Sukuna could talk to you whenever he chose.
For the exchange of his life, the rules weren’t bad, a part of him knows that this selfish override could cause problems for you in the future, but he still agrees.
When he wakes up to a pure white ceiling and the smell of bleach he doesn’t expect to see you towering over him. Moving up to a sitting position, his cheeks nearly bleed red because he’s naked. His eyes frantically flit over to Gojo who’s sitting in the corner of the room, watching the exchange. The white-haired sorcerer shrugs in a ridiculed manner —silently telling Itadori that it wasn’t his problem.
“You called me,” your voice filters through the bright room. His eyebrows crinkle in confusion. Sukuna must've did something.
When his eyes flit back to you, he’s met with your monotone expression, your cascade of braids framing your face. And for the third time in his life, he’s scared.
Your cursed energy, which for your level should leave little to no residual, is flaring with onyx undertones. Its sharpened jaws nearing closer and closer to Itadori in a beckoning manner. He's not sure why it's visible in the first place.
Gojo stays silent.
Brat, let me out. Sukuna, for the first time in weeks, pops up with a wide mouth on the palm of his hand. Without a second thought, Itadori allows him.
Whilst wading in his domain of subconsciousness, he watches the exchange. Your expression stays the same as you study Sukuna’s marked face.
“So hostile,” Sukuna bares, his powerful aura sifting through the room. You roll your eyes and crack a smile. Seamlessly ignoring the other man in the room— who you know Sukuna has a grudge with.
“Am I not supposed to be?” you cross your arms and ask. “Being friendly would get me in trouble.”
“You remember me?” The King of curses cuts straight to the point, the question being so unexpected that Gojo shuffles in his seat, his spine rigid with anticipation.
You nod stiffly. "I didn’t at first, not fully at least, but after coming into contact a few times, yeah.”
“It’s a shame I don’t have control over this body,” Sukuna presses a palm to your cheek, no doubt a loving caress. His deep baritone voice causing your skin to erupt into a turnpike for goosebumps to situate. “Do you remember how we parted last?”
“A sorcerer killed me or something,” you scratch the back of your neck under his intense stare. “Right through here,” you confess, pointing to the middle of your sternum.
“And you’ve become one?” Sukuna quirks an eyebrow, shoulders stiff with anger.
“I didn’t even know I knew you until a month ago, calm down,” you wave in dismissal. Itadori takes note in the way Sukuna visibly relaxes, your words washing him in a bucket of warmth. “Is that all? I’ve got a mission in thirty minutes.”
“I’m coming with you.” Sukuna jumps off the steel table, his bare feet touching the cool ground. You turn your eyes away from the bottom half of his body, ears growing hot in embarrassment.
“Eh? Is that allowed?” You turn to Gojo who’s still analyzing the situation beforehand and he shrugs with complacency. “Don’t let anyone see him,” Gojo warns, his stare serious even under his blindfold. You're not exactly sure what Gojo's thinking but you grasp the opportunity.
When you leave the autopsy room with a naked Sukuna by your side, careful to avoid any areas where Sukuna’s aura might be felt, you make it to Itadori’s dorm.
“Here.” You throw him Yuuji’s formal uniform and a pair of brown boots you find in the corner of his room. “I’m not wearing this,” Sukuna interjects.
“Huh?” Your upper lip curls up in confusion. “Then you’re not coming with me.” You turn to leave but he catches your arm in a tight grip.
“Fine, since you’re so damn adamant.” He releases his grip on your arm to slip into Yuuji’s clothes, when he finishes he turns to you with a glare.
“Good boy,” you praise, patting his tattooed cheek.
Internally, Itadori’s too bewildered to tease the curse. In all of his time spent with Sukuna in his body, he’s never seen the King of curses voluntarily listen to somebody else’s demands. The murky water he stands in ripples as he sits to observe everything that’s transpiring.
When you both reach the site you were assigned to, you sigh in annoyance. “What is it?” Sukuna asks, hands in pockets as he studies your face.
“I was hoping to have an easy day, they’re not dangerous or anything but there’s more than a dozen in there.” You point to the abandoned building, its steel beams bending with age.
“I’ll exorcise them for you.”
This is going completely against this guy’s morals, Yuuji thinks.
Your eyebrows fly to your forehead as you grow giddy with happiness. “Really?” You exclaim clambering up to wrap him in a hug.
“If you don’t let go, I won’t.” He grumbles, head in your neck while inhaling your sweet scent.
“Okayyy,” you inhale, trailing off, Sukuna not too far behind.
The exorcism is completed in fifteen seconds, tops. You stare in amazement at his lithe movements. His sharp fingers extinguishing cores with precise stabs— the same way he did his vessel. When he’s done he turns to you with an eyebrow raised, his hands wet with unspoken substance. You turn away with a humph.
“Was it not fast enough?” He walks towards you, concern written all over his expression.
“It was too fast,” you proclaim.
“Huh?”
“You’re a show-off,” you turn to exit the building, your braids whizzing past his face. You hear his roaring laughter behind you as you make it outside.
The smell of freshly churned earth enters your nostrils as you walk down a fenced sidewalk with bent daffodils. “Where are we going?”
“A ramen shop.” His gaze flicks over to study your face which is softened with what seems to be tranquility. His heart tides over with pride once he realizes that you feel content with him, a 1000-year-old curse.
However, he knows it’s the result of your memories that tie in with his; shared massacres and intertwined fates. Multiple restarts of what seemed to be a never-ending cycle of mingled hearts. But this time jump was different than the others.
You being a sorcerer is not the only obstacle, at all.
“Sukuna? Hey– you’re spacing out.” You wave a hand in front of his face to grab his attention.
“We’re here.” He looks up to see a small ramen shop, its logo old with age. As he enters the shop, he somehow finds contentment in being in a place that you like.
“You know you’re probably attracting sorcerers and curses alike as we speak?” You inquire, grabbing your ramen bowl from the waiter who nervously glances at Sukuna. His tattooed face also attracting unwanted attention.
“Mhm, I’ll just kill them if they interfere.” You whip your head to turn to the waiter who you’re relieved to see, had already left.
“I knew you’d say that,” you stuff your face with a handful of steaming noodles.
“Sukuna?”
“Mhm?”
“What’s gonna happen between us?” You flick your index finger back and forth. “It’s not like the other times, I’m a dedicated sorcerer.”
“So?”
“You’re the King of curses, I’m a sorcerer.” You repeat, dropping your wooden chopsticks to place your head on your propped fist.
“Already made a deal with the brat, I can talk to you whenever and wherever I want,” he pulls his face closer to yours.
“Yeah? What happens when they execute Itadori?” You curl your hands into balled fists, an unfamiliar emotion welling up in your throat. Somehow, it doesn't fit. It crosses your veins in a parasitic manner and your eyes glaze over.
“I’ll just come back.” He states matter of factly, voice coated with arrogance.
“You promise?” You whisper, holding out your pinky finger. You nearly scoff at your own action.
Ignoring the finger you bare out, he presses his lips against yours. It’s the same as he can remember, centuries ago. His body elates with a hum of electricity. And it's as if his body's creating a second space of void in which he feels his every sense being sharpened; the smooth curve of your full lips and the salty taste of previous ramen.
But before the kiss can go any further, you're pulling back.
“That was uh…” You blink once, twice, trying desperately to collect your thoughts. When you look back to Sukuna, you instead are met with Itadori’s clear face.
“The hell are you doing, brat?” Sukuna bares his teeth on the right side of Itadori’s cheek. ”I- I’m sorry just got a little uh.. flustered.”
“The fuck are you getting flustered for?” Sukuna growls.
“I- uh..”
“It’s okay Yuuji, you can switch again another time,” you sympathize with the boy. His cheeks are coated in red.
“It’s getting late, eat some ramen so we can go.” You chuckle. Itadori nods as his hand reaches towards a pair of chopsticks.
“Touch my ramen and I’ll kill you again, you damn brat.”

You know, I never understood the argument and/or justification in regards to Loki's shift in characterization (among many other things) after the revealment of how the rest of his life is supposed to play out at the time theatre (he was also acting oddly beforehand, but nevertheless), which is that many people expect themselves to respond similarly in the same position. Fair enough, of course, but that's just the thing. We aren't in Loki's position, how could we be? We're dealing with somebody who is over 1000 years old and has, at least, 900 plus years of added experience over any of us. Can you imagine? I would not even begin to presume my personal perception is automatically comparable to that of another being when my lifetime is a mere fraction of theirs. Even more so when you consider this is LOKI we speak of, whose mind specifically is his greatest strength, exceeding many of those around him including his family. Add to that his specific upbringing, position, and just about everything we've seen from him in Thor and Avengers. That makes for a highly complex and unique individual, and ultimately makes this specific argument lose a lot of its credibility in my opinion. Especially when it's the only argument people present, compared to the frequently used counter argument which is that TV Loki's behaviour does not line up with his previous characterization and actions taken under (or after) certain levels of duress in canon.
Yeah it’s a ridiculous argument that ignores all the traits that make Loki unique. Loki is an alien sorcerer warrior space prince. His culture and perspective and life experiences are completely different from the average every day person. That’s part of what makes him a fun and interesting and unique character to watch or read about. And Tom perfectly embodied that in the original Loki movies. People trying to excuse his out of character behavior by saying that’s what they would do makes no sense. Like ok. Maybe you would do that. But LOKI wouldn’t. Which we know based on his past characterization that the series is inconsistent with. The show is badly written and ooc.

Hey Have you played psychonauts 2?Do you have any thoughts about it you wanna share or just in general? Thanks for reading or replying if you did and hope you're having a good day regardless 👍
i have, in fact, played psychonauts 2! i 100%ed it and got all the achievements even, which really says something because i'm terrible about beating games, let alone completing them, and i've literally never bothered to get all 1000 gamerscore in any other game before. (it's not actually that hard in this game, aside from a few figments that were a little annoying to track down)
psychonauts 1 was this big passion project where a bunch of really creative folks got to leave a visible mark on the game, which left us with some extremely memorable standout levels, but there are also undeniably some stinkers in there where their ambitions outpaced their time and resources. but like, it's so damn creative for the time that you have to give them credit, even if levels like gloria's theater aren't the most mechanically fun. psychonauts 2 doesn't have that problem at all. every single level in the sequel is up there with the very best the first game had to offer, with creative themes and dazzling art direction and really tight platforming and these incredible dream logic scene transitions that really take advantage of the premise. even though it took double fine a decade to begin working on the sequel it hardly feels like they missed a beat. (seriously, that opening level is one of the best in recent memory.) add on to that the fact that the combat is actually genuinely fun and varied now and it's just a joy to play, retaining what worked in the first game while modernizing it in some really smart ways
but what really elevates it is the writing. a lot of the time throwback projects like this can feel overly derivative. it would have been very easy for this game to feel like a dozen or so hours of "hey, remember the first game?" instead it's a worthy successor that pushes the story forward into new territory, being just as funny and weird and dark as the original while also being more thoughtful and introspective and heartfelt. the original was somewhat ahead of its time for the way it depicted mental illness with empathy instead of using its antagonists as cheap shock value monsters, but this game takes it even further in contemplating its characters and the power the psychonauts wield while still being just as fun and imaginative as the first. the story in a certain late game level did in fact make me misty, and if you've played it you probably know which one i'm talking about. that's not something i can say about a lot of other platformers
it's a really, really good game, and probably my favorite double fine game (although i haven't played all of their smaller releases). after broken age act 2 let me down hard, i'm ecstatic that this game somehow exceeded my expectations. i could nitpick a few things here and there but it was just such a great experience overall
