hey artificer, gonna be honest here dude i think you're kind of a meanie 3:
Arti: I know! I’m a horrible person! I didn’t even realize what I was doing until Gourmand pulled me off, and now I’ve fucked everything up again! I thought I was getting better. I feel so bad about it now, but I don’t know how I could ever apologize for that. He already hates me so much, there’s no way he’ll ever forgive me for this.
"What can you do? You were all trapped. Either you all die in Peng’s hands or the celestial flames burn you all alive. You never should’ve sent your brothers inside. There’s no exit, no - wait.
There was a way out. The transportation circle in your room you never quite got to erasing."
Chapter 15 of "Queen of the Mountain" by @centuryberry
umm so fun thing- an anon was mean again, but this one affected me more than normal for some reason, sooo I shall post less ✨personality✨ here bc pain, soooo pls follow @the-curators-bullshit for hhof personality. thank you and goodnight lol
Last week I had the worst cello session I've ever had in my life. I told my teacher, after failing to play stuff I've been able to play for weeks, that I simply couldn't play any music and I just wanted to do some ear training and basics.
She was so visibly disappointed in me, it was WILD.
She literally looked me in the eyes and was like 'Come on, you know this', as if somehow that would help. Not in an encouraging way, her tone was more like 'are you fucking stupid?????'
Anyway,
I had a great session this week and she was so relieved and happy lol this woman was smiling more than I've ever seen her smile I s2g.
It felt like she couldnt fathom I was having a bad week last week.
She smiled so much during this session and was like
OH YOURE BACK TOGETHER YOU DID SO WELL YOU IMPROVED SO MUCH! SEE YOURE FINE!
But the reason this is sort of funny to me is I saw a tiktok joke about how music teachers and instructors will come down so unnecessarily hard on you for almost no reason.
And I was like 'naaaah not ann, she's so empathetic'
:-I
Relatable? idk
Before I watched Saw IV and V, all I knew about Hoffstrahm was that they had a bit of an antagonistic relationship to each other (that caused people to ship them) and there was a scene where they’re in a Saw trap together and one of them gets into a glass coffin to survive while the other subsequently dies
All this to say: I thought the whole glass coffin scene was supposed to be Strahm sacrificing himself by shoving Hoffman into the box and Hoffman watching in horror, trying to open the coffin but being unable to… and in hindsight I could not have been more wrong about any of the context of the scene lol
This is from a drawpile session canvas from december 2023 of course that I foolishly thought I posted here already but whatever. This is pretty much what their exchange was like at the blueberry academy, they're funny
some kind of fantasy or royalty au where saikos dad, as per tradition, sends saiko out on a quest to prove himself worthy of inheriting his position. it sounds brave and grand, but it really is nothing more than a simple, completely safe little field trip, because saikos dad could never put his beloved son in danger or even let him face difficulty. only saiko is terribly bad with directions and never bothered to learn what the land hes inheriting even looks like, and the three servants accompanying him are all ridiculously incompetent, so not only do they get lost, but they end up talking to the wrong guy, and by way of saikos dads instructions being somewhat vague and unclear and none of them being all that bright, what was supposed to be a mere errand becomes a deadly epic
okay okay everyone always talks about how a medieval peasant wouldn't survive seeing/knowing about [insert modern day thing] BUT have we considered the following: would horror movie actors survive scrolling through the tumblr tag of the movie(s) they were in?
this is not only testable with many of the subjects in question being alive, but also put any horror movie into the search bar (if it was made in the 80s or 90s the following is even more likely to be the case) and i guarantee you the first 15 posts will include murder man either as a cat boy or in a maid outfit (or both), the most passionate gay lovemaking between either two very queer-coded characters or the most queerphobic characters to ever exist, a 100k fanfic that is actually really good (and really gay and horny amen), a meme that is incomprehensible to anyone above the age of 45 y/o, someone having a mental breakdown over the grainiest behind the scenes photo you've ever seen, grotesque (affectionate) monster girls having brunch, and/or someone having a religious experience over the most gremlin little guy to ever live.
i say all of this with the utmost love and respect as part of the community. no villain is safe from uwu-ification and we will reach knee-deep into the plot to pull out queer subtext like we are mining for rare ores to trade at the market that will save our village from starving. and i think that's lovely.
the "[insert youtuber here] reacts to their tumblr tag" was a popular trend about 10 years ago but they're already living in-tandem with fandom/online culture so there was little to shock or awe them. give me 65 y/o joe actorman sitting in front of a computer and facing what millenials/gen z have crafted in reverence through a sleep deprived-induced haze. this test will separate the blorbos from the glupshitos.
anyway i think i accidentally took 2 of my adhd meds today uwu
