Everyone sleeping on how attractive Jay Baruchel is but 2010 me watching The Sorcerer’s Apprentice knew what was up, rewatched it the other day and now he’s got me acting unwise*
*watching random Canadian films with less than 100 user reviews on them just to see him
Enjoy the blurriest phone screenshots ever as I reveal myself to be the girl from that one post that goes something like “girls are always like omg look at him he’s soooo hot and then you look at the guy and he looks like x* meme.
I still can't get over how wild Kael is when he make love with Hestia. Like, seriously, who saw that coming? He seems to be so calm and reasonable. And then suddenly, boom! Ate Hestia until dawn, then more in the morning lol. My goshhhhh.
F*ck life bro, I literally just trauma dumped about the trauma my dad gave me, and then how he's better now but it doesn't erase anything, in an ao3 comment section. And then my dad calls me (bc my mom is on the phone with the insurance company and didn't answer) about how he got in an accident and might need my mom to pick him up. He does not elaborate further, so I stand there trying to tell my mom without interrupting her, making up sh*t about how he could be hurt. I finally tell her and she calls my dad, he's fine, thank God, but the car we have had for years is finally out of commission.
Ps: I just think it’s hilarious how you’re trying to “fix” / redeem Sukuna & Mahito in tpg but NOT Kenjaku.
Sukuna & Mahito are the embodiment of schadenfreude; those who derived pleasure from others’ sufferings & trampling the weak. But you draw the line with a sociopath who’s curious about cursed evolution with zero regard of humans’ life?? XD
No hating or anything, I’m just curious with your thought-process. As tpg Maki said, “Yeah, I don’t understand. So help me understand. I want to understand!”
i'm not trying to "redeem" mahito. just because i want to explore potential depths to his character and why kashimo would care about him doesn't mean he's going to be redeemed. it's possible to make a villain likable and emotionally well-rounded without making them good
i draw the line at r*pists actually please reread how the death paintings were conceived
i guess my thought process is this. jjk gave us three "i'm evil for funzies" villains -- the ones you mentioned. personally, i don't think it's a very compelling motivation, and gege only wrote that trait interestingly for mahito. i wanted to give all the antagonist characters depth in tpg -- not even kenjaku's motivations in tpg are the same as canon, because i made them more thematically relevant and significantly more harrowing. you'll find out soon.
sukuna especially i wanted to write with more depth, because we know literally nothing about him in canon other than that he likes hurting people. why? what pushed him that far? honestly, i'm a sucker for villains who were pushed to those lengths by tragedy. what's that phrase again? grief is love with nowhere left to go. to me, THAT is interesting
So I finally actually watched the episode adoration
What the f*ck like it's like I I love Zoe like Zoe I feel you too much anyway but just the scene of Gabriel leaning in from the darkness and going no like what the f*ck that shit's too hilarious
It's the same reason why they cast Zac Efron to play the serial killer. They were known for being charming and attractive. That's part of the ruse that they learned their victims in with. Is it wrong that people thought Evan Peters was hot in American horror story? Jw.
No this is such a good point. Bc if we found him hot in AHS why is it problematic to find him attractive in Dahmer…
Especially if this is how or part of the reason he was able to get his victims. By being charming and attractive.
I dono why tho…it still seems problematic. Like not wrong but questionable.
Ranveer being the most malewife ever and trying to warn us about the danger of Deepika showing up on screen looking like that before Besharam Rang released. he gets it
