Well one of my mutuals must have seen that anon ask and asked so politely if they were one on my mind. Things led to one another and now I've just made them act like a hucow for me for the past 2 hours. They practically begged me to get them exposed on all fours with their udders swinging about. They were adamant to only respond to me by mooing as well. Just one small ask led to this. I even was able to get them to have their cunt filled with one of their toys through the whole scene. Slowly teasing and edging them as the scene went along. Was so much fun. And then to add to how needy they were. They begged me to make a post about it, showing all my followers about how needy they were and wanting to be used and played with so quickly from one little ask. All this had led to them telling me about how much they are now air humping awaiting for this post to be made. Even agreeing to have this pinned for a while so they can come back to remind themselves how needy they were.

There was an interview with Mick is The Guardian where he said some lovely things about missing Charlie and this: There are of course still plenty of unreleased songs in that 80-odd cache, including “some other tracks we’ve done with Charlie that’ll probably come out,” Jagger says. “So he’s kind of still there – and I hope he likes the rest of the record.”

So maybe we haven’t heard the last of Charlie? I hope they just turn up the drum track and then leave it alone. Don’t mess with his drum sound.

What he has to say about Charlie is really lovely, and, as I think we’ve all probably mentioned at some point in the last two years, much more vulnerable than anything you’d have seen from him before.

“‘It’s a couple of years now, and I still think about Charlie a lot,’ Jagger says. The day before we meet, he watched their beloved England cricket team thrash New Zealand. ‘Charlie would have liked Ben Stokes’s innings; I wish Charlie could have seen that 182. I miss his laconic humour. His taste in music. His elegance. His don’t-care attitude – he didn’t get intense. Keith and I get a bit intense.’

But Charlie wouldn’t, and it rubs off a bit – I’m not as intense as I used to be. I think about him when I’m playing, and what he would have played; whether he’d have liked this song, because I’d always bounce things off him. I’d be playing him the silly pop songs of the moment, and he’d love all that…it doesn’t get easier.’”

I think you can really feel the absence of Charlie in this album not only in the drumming, but in how extremely it’s tilted towards present fashion, which is a very Mick approach. With him gone and Keith having become so oddly passive in desperation not to blow up that relationship again, they’re missing the person who could get a balance between innovation and the true Stones sound.

Andrew Watt (keeping my more violent and unkind thoughts to myself) mentions to the interviewer that Mick stuck around for the mixing of the album and “was making sure you could hear a snare all the way through the song”, which I’m guessing was a reference to “Live By The Sword.”

And, as you mentioned, the bit about Charlie’s unreleased work.

I’m curious to see what comes of that, at the same time cautious about getting my hopes up. Both because I never thought they’d mix an album the way they did this one (it mutilated the drum sound) and because they seem so hyper-fixated on this ‘we’re going into a new era, even more never ending tours and albums!’ BS. I think an ideal way to close up shop would be to make a final album of Charlie songs with proper production/no fiddling with his sound/having him at his rightful volume in the mix and just ride off into the sunset.

But I’m not holding my breath.
