Valentine’s Day. Honestly, it never makes me depressed. I like Valentine’s themed everything. Books, which I should start reading this month, candles, soaps, bodywash, etc. 

I’m still debating getting Lush’s Prince Charming bodywash, but I’ll probably opt for a cheaper Bath and Body Works one eventually. I really want to get Strawberry Shortcake. I’m really into strawberry lately since using the ColourPop strawberry facemilk. I can give a good review for that product, but the price puts me off from repurchasing it.

I started reading two books today. 

Danielle Steel’s Accident, which I like so far. I’ve only ever read one other book from her in the past. If this one is good, I’ll be looking more into her catalog.

Also, started my annual read of Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsey. If you don’t know much about the book, it starts on Valentine’s Day where girls and their teacher go missing at Hanging Rock. I prefer the 70s movie version, but the miniseries made last year (or the year before, can’t recall) is really good too.

Today I continued to wear my Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette, Pillow Talk lipstick, and Pillow Talk lipgloss. I used my Fenty bronzer, CoverFX blush duo, and Ofra highlighter. It wasn’t any different from any other day this month other than remembering to wear the lipgloss. I felt that I really got the look right today. I love a monochromatic look and the gloss just made it perfect.

Also, I decided to buy a brush from the Sephora President’s Day Sale. I could use this for my foundation. I hope it works because I would like to buy fewer sponges in the future.
