𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐢𝐧’𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐞

꒰ 🍒 ꒱ Caitlin Clark x You ꒰ 🍒 ꒱ MASTERLIST
1/? Part 2
⭑ pairing: Caitlin Clark x cocky!UConn!player!reader
⭑ genre: sports rivalry, tension, slow-burn flirtation
⭑ summary: You’re UConn’s rising star. Caitlin’s already a legend. Too bad she has a boyfriend… not that it matters to you.
⭑ warnings: light swearing, sexual tension, implied cheating
⭑ word count: ~0.9k

———————————————————————————————
The lights in the arena are searing. The crowd’s loud enough to rattle ribs, but it doesn’t touch you. You’re calm. Locked in. This ain’t your first rodeo—it’s just your first one against her.
You roll your neck as you step onto the court, your sneakers biting into the hardwood. All around you, noise. But right in front of you, Caitlin Clark. Eyes sharp. Ponytail tight. Jersey tucked to perfection. She stands with her hands on her hips, gaze already pinned to you like you did something personal.
Which, technically? You haven’t. Yet.
Your lips curl just enough. Not a smile—more like a warning. She clocks it.
“You ready for this?” she asks, tone light but her eyes doing the heavy lifting.
“Always,” you say, voice low. “Are you, though?”
She scoffs. Classic Caitlin. But her gaze dips—for a second—to your mouth. You file that away.
Connor’s courtside, arms crossed, jaw tight. Like he’s the one checking you. You raise your brows at him. Then, without missing a beat, lean closer to Caitlin and tug gently under her chin, just enough to lift it.
“Chin up, superstar,” you whisper. “Wouldn’t want you to miss my highlight reel.”
She swats your hand away, cheeks tinged pink. “You’re ridiculous.”
“You say that like it’s not your type.”
The ref blows the whistle. Game on.
———————————————————————————————
It’s a blur of elbows, screens, and sharp footwork. You stick to Caitlin like second skin, shoulder-to-shoulder, step-for-step. She tries to break past you on a fast break—you cut her off without blinking. She shoots a fadeaway—you’re already in the air, fingers grazing the arc of the ball.
You don’t talk trash. Not loud anyway.
You just exist in her space.
Every missed bucket of hers? You tilt your head.
Every time she sprints to recover? You’re already there.
When she drops 12 in the first quarter, you drop 14. Silent. Surgical.
She notices.
———————————————————————————————
By halftime, the arena is pulsing with tension. You’re both drenched in effort but not sweat—neither of you looks tired. Just locked in.
ESPN’s courtside cam zooms in on the two of you during a timeout, faces inches apart, words exchanged with no mics picking them up.
“You’re not even sweating,” she huffs, brushing her arm against yours.
“I don’t break a sweat for regular,” you murmur. “Even when it’s wrapped in Nike and ego.”
She laughs, incredulous. “You think you’re better than me?”
“No.” You step close, dropping your voice. “I know I make you think about me more.”
Connor shuffles in his seat again. You glance over your shoulder. “He always look that uncomfortable when you’re enjoying yourself?”
Caitlin rolls her eyes but doesn’t answer. That’s answer enough.
———————————————————————————————
The third quarter starts. You come out hungrier.
Dimes. Stepbacks. Lockdown D. You’re in it.
Her? She’s fighting. She’s fired up. She’s pissed. But there’s that glint in her eye—the one that always comes back to you. That edge of frustration mixed with something else. Curiosity. Attraction. Resentment. All tangled into one unspoken confession.
You catch her again after a foul. You both stand there while the ref sorts it out. Just breathing. Close.
“Why do you look at me like that?” she finally asks.
You glance at her. “Cause you hate it. And love it.”
She bites the inside of her cheek.
Later, you hit a corner three with her draped on you. Nothing but net.
You backpedal down the court, eyes on hers the whole way. “Smile for me, Clark.”
She doesn’t. But her cheeks give her away.
———————————————————————————————
The game ends in a tight finish—UConn wins by two. The buzzer sounds, and the handshake line forms. You make your way over. She’s waiting.
“Nice game,” she says, cool and polite.
“Don’t lie. You missed me all week.”
Caitlin shakes her head but her lips twitch. “Shut up.”
You lean in, real close. “Or what, Clark?”
Before she can answer, cameras flash. Fans scream. You wink at her once—just once—and turn away, your smile unshakable.
This wasn’t just a win.
This was a warning.
You’re not going anywhere.
And she doesn’t want you to.

love your content girly pop, but how do you see paige as bron? or kobe?
i feel like bron is the easiest to see
like if you’ve ever seen both of them play it’s pretty obvious just versatility wise
i always say this about paige, and as much as i hate to admit it it’s true for bron too. there may be a player who scores more. maybe shoots more efficiently. say another player rebounds more. this player has a better post game, that player plays better defense. whatever.
there is not a single player in the ncaa or the nba who is better than paige bueckers or lebron james in most of those categories.
there just isn’t!! nobody is as versatile as the two of them because they really can do it all. just looking at it position wise: paige has literally played the 1-5. bron’s a sf, sure, but everyone knows he can do everything. they can shoot the three ball, spread the floor, lead a team, run the point, score in the paint, they have a midrange game, play defense - like there is literally nothing on the court they can’t do.
y’all know this bron glaze is hurtingggg me too but i’m deadass
kobe is just mentality mostly
obviously paige’s bread and butter used to be her midrange game, and when i think middy i think kobe. i remember against south carolina in the championship her sophomore year she hit this crazy like dribble into traffic, circle her defender, plant, pump fake, pivot, one leg fadeaway… i was tweaking bro
i said Lord i missed kobe bryant basketball so thank you for giving me paige bueckers AMEN 🙌🏽
real talk tho it’s also just her mindset - it’s the grit and the tenacity and all that shit that separates the great from the good. paige got mamba mentality y’all like she REALLY does.
also just in their faith. i remember in an interview someone asked kobe like how he does all this. how you’re able to win and succeed on every level. and he said “God is good. simple as that.”
i rewatched that clip recently and it reminded me a lot of paige.
so yeah i think bron game and kobe mentality fs

I love Dragons Rising but I can feel a bit of the Bionicle Name situation coming up lately. Namely Nokt. Zarkt. Zarkar. Zur. Kur. Rox. Drix.
For those who don’t know what Bionicle Name means; The story team for Bionicle needed names because they wanted this to be a lore theme, but the legal team had to make sure they didn’t reuse any pre-existing names from any other media, esp since a lot of these names would be for the sets themselves.
So someone had to come up with a list of legally-approved names for the writers to pull from whenever they needed a name, and they found that the letters K and H, usually in combination, tended to avoid precedent. Thus we have examples such as Kralhi, Kraahu, Kraawa, Kranua, Ahkmou, and those are from the same year! In 2009 onwards there was a Gladiator theme so they used vaguely Latin suffixes, so -x and -us and thus we have Thornax and Thornatus.
So I think there’s probably a similar situation with Dragons Rising. It’s pretty clear some of these names are just slight permutations of other ones but mixed up enough so you don’t always see them side by side to notice. Except with the Forbidden Five because while Nokt, Rox, and Kur are distinct enough, Zarkt and Drix are obvious permutations. And they definitely lean into Glup Shitto territory. Zarkt has grown on me but Drix is still a tad ridiculous, esp since it’s the same name as the Pill Guy from Osmosis Jones. Given the Five are the villains of S3, I’d have hoped the writers could make all of their names distinct and not just three of them.
By the end of the day, Zarkt sounds like the ship name for Nokt and Zarkar, who do have a decent connection to one another all things considered (especially since Nokt is Zarkar’s most important non-familial connection that we know of but whatever). Not that the ship would make any sense because Nokt slaughtered Zarkar’s people and he seems lowkey racist towards tigers if his fadeaway from the flashback to Ras is any indication. Which is worth another post. But yeah.

Song Review(s): Grateful Dead - “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “Might as Well” and “Let it Grow” (Live, Sept. 11, 1983)
Early versions of Grateful Dead songs that stuck around and evolved are always a treat because there are so few of them. And the forthcoming Dave’s Picks Vol. 52 has a doozy in “West L.A. Fadeaway.”
One of three tracks released to preview the Oct. 25 release of the band’s Sept. 11, 1983, show in New Mexico as DP52, “West L.A.” finds Jerry Garcia singing with long-abandoned phrasing alongside backgrounds from only Brent Mydland. Garcia, meanwhile, expresses his desire to borrow the chateau. It could be argued the song improved over the years; it could just as easily be said it stagnated, making this iteration a real treat.
Vocal miscues mark a swinging rendition of “Might as Well” and while these could have been super-damaging, they may have also been the impetus for Garcia’s unusually grimy, song-saving guitar solo. Good thing he played it, too, because the song ends with another flub - a big one at that.
Later in the evening, the Dead surprised the Heads by playing “Let it Grow” in the middle of set No. 2. This is an uncharacteristically loose offering. It’s interesting in its treatment, though Sound Bites has always believed this majestic composition worked best when the playing was just exactly perfect.
Grade card: Grateful Dead - “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “Might as Well” and “Let it Grow” (Live 9/11/83) - A-/B-/B
Hear them here.

NBA 2K25’s MyPlayer mode continues to evolve with each new installment of the franchise, allowing players to create builds that reflect their favorite basketball superstars. One of the most exciting and versatile builds in NBA 2K25 is the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher, inspired by none other than Luka Don?i?, one of the NBA’s most dynamic players. This build is designed to emulate Luka's unique blend of finesse, strength, and basketball IQ, and NBA 2K25 MT it excels in various gameplay scenarios, from competitive matches to the unpredictable nature of Random Rec.
In this article, we will break down everything you need to know about the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher build, including how to craft it, key upgrades and animations, gameplay highlights, potential challenges, and ways to adapt for the best performance in NBA 2K25. Whether you’re looking to dominate in MyCareer, play in the Rec Center, or challenge other players online, this build has the tools to help you succeed.
Crafting the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher Build When creating a Three-Level Playmaking Slasher, it’s crucial to balance Luka’s skills on both offense and defense while maintaining versatility on the court. This build allows you to impact all three levels of the game: scoring in the paint, shooting mid-range and beyond the arc, and creating plays for teammates. Below, we will highlight the key attributes that will bring Luka’s signature style to life.
Key Attributes: Pass Accuracy: 94
Luka Don?i? is known for his incredible court vision and playmaking ability. In the NBA, he can effortlessly dish out assists, finding teammates in the most unexpected situations. To mirror this, you’ll want a high Pass Accuracy, unlocking Luka’s pass style and allowing you to make crisp, flashy passes that catch defenders off-guard. A 94 pass accuracy ensures quick ball movement and opens up opportunities for creative playmaking. Mid-Range Shot: 87
Luka’s mid-range game is one of the most lethal parts of his offensive arsenal. Whether it’s a smooth pull-up jumper or a tough fadeaway, Luka can score from nearly anywhere on the court. With an 87 mid-range shot rating, this build can emulate that deadly touch. It also unlocks several key shooting badges to make those difficult fadeaways and step-back shots more consistent. Strength: 86
Luka is known for using his strength and size to bully smaller defenders in the paint. The strength rating in this build is designed to allow you to operate effectively in post-up situations, overpowering defenders and finishing through contact. The upgraded strength also helps with stamina and balance, giving you the ability to drive and finish more efficiently. Height: 6’7”
Luka’s height is a key component in making him such a versatile player. At 6’7”, this build balances size and agility, giving you the ability to compete with both guards and forwards. The height allows you to finish strong at the rim while maintaining enough speed and agility to blow by defenders. This gives you the flexibility to operate in multiple positions and excel in both scoring and playmaking. Badge Setup Badges play a vital role in unlocking the true potential of the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher build. With the right combination of offensive, defensive, and playmaking badges, this build can dominate in various scenarios. Here are some of the essential badges to maximize your performance:
Hall of Fame: Strong Handles: This badge is key to maintaining control of the ball during dribble moves, allowing for smooth and effective handling when driving to the basket or setting up plays. It’s perfect for keeping defenders on their toes and ensuring that you don’t lose possession in tight situations. Gold: Shifty Shooter: A great addition for improving shooting off quick dribbles, Shifty Shooter makes it easier to pull up for jumpers or hit those difficult step-back shots while moving. This badge is essential for replicating Luka’s ability to score efficiently in motion.
Post Powerhouse: Luka can bully smaller defenders in the post, and this badge helps you do just that. With Post Powerhouse, you’ll be able to dominate smaller guards and finish strong around the basket.
Layup Mix Master: This badge improves your finishing around the basket, allowing for creative and smooth layups in traffic. Given Luka’s knack for pulling off unconventional finishes, Layup Mix Master is a must-have for this build.
Silver: Set Shot Specialist: For consistent shooting when standing still or catching and shooting, Set Shot Specialist boosts your effectiveness from beyond the arc. This badge helps make the most out of wide-open shots, whether from mid-range or three-point range. Luka Doncic Animations One of the best features of the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher is the use of Luka Don?i?’s signature animations. These animations reflect his unique playstyle and help immerse you in the experience of being one of the NBA’s top superstars.
Luka Doncic Pass Style Luka’s passing ability is one of his defining traits, and his pass style in NBA 2K25 is as fluid and flashy as his real-life counterpart. With this pass style, you’ll be able to make pinpoint, creative passes that surprise your opponents and open up easy opportunities for teammates. The style adds flair to your playmaking, making you feel like a true point-forward on the court.
Luka Doncic Layup Package Luka’s layup package is filled with finesse, perfect for creative finishes around the basket. This package allows for smooth and unpredictable layups, which can be especially useful when attacking the paint in heavy traffic. Whether it’s an acrobatic finish or a simple floater, Luka’s layup style adds an extra level of versatility to the build’s scoring potential.
Jump Shot Setup For a balanced shooting experience, this build incorporates a mix of Jared Culver, Jaylen Brown, and Oscar Robertson’s releases. This combination ensures a smooth, reliable jump shot that works well in both mid-range and three-point situations. The setup gives you a versatile, accurate release, which is crucial for hitting contested shots and getting consistent buckets.
Random Rec Test Drive One of the most unpredictable modes in NBA 2K25 is the Random Rec game. In this mode, players are randomly paired with teammates and thrown into fast-paced, chaotic matches. The Three-Level Playmaking Slasher build thrives in these conditions, offering a unique combination of scoring, playmaking, and versatility.
Offensive Performance With a 94 Pass Accuracy, the build excels in creating plays for teammates. Whether it’s a flashy assist or a quick dish to the open man, you’ll be able to find opportunities to score efficiently. The high mid-range rating and reliable jump shot also make it easy to space the floor and hit difficult shots when necessary. Key highlights include:
Floaters in Traffic: Using Luka’s floater package, this build adds a level of unpredictability when driving through traffic. These floaters can be tough to block, especially when you’re able to change the release mid-air.
Shooting Over Smaller Defenders: The 6’7” height combined with badges like Shifty Shooter gives you the ability to shoot over smaller defenders. Whether it’s a contested mid-range jumper or a three-pointer, this build can score efficiently against mismatches.
Post Moves: With Post Powerhouse, you can dominate smaller defenders in the paint. This feature is invaluable for bullying opposing guards and finishing through contact.
Defensive Performance While not known for being a lockdown defender, the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher still holds its ground on defense. The build’s upgraded strength allows for effective shot contests, and you can position yourself strategically to force tough shots. You may face challenges against speedier opponents with 95+ speed, but through careful positioning and timing, you can still make an impact defensively.
Challenges and Adjustments While the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher is a versatile and powerful build, it’s not without its challenges.
Defensive Teammates: In Random Rec, teammates may not always rotate or cover their assignments properly. To compensate, focus on smarter positioning and anticipation to limit open shots.
Fast Opponents: Players with high speed and ball handling can exploit defensive mismatches. Consider upgrading the build to 99 overall to improve vertical and rebounding stats, making it easier to defend against quick opponents.
Animation Load Times: Some of Luka’s animations, especially his passing and dribble moves, have slower load times, which may frustrate fast-paced players. Use smarter decision-making and anticipate plays ahead of time to mitigate this.
Final Thoughts The Three-Level Playmaking Slasher is more than just a Luka Don?i? clone; it’s a versatile, all-around powerhouse that thrives in a variety of game modes. Whether you’re threading flashy passes, scoring in the paint, or knocking down clutch shots, this build offers something for every type of player.
This build is perfect for those who want a dynamic playstyle that blends passing, scoring, and strength—mirroring Luka’s real-life ability to impact the game on all fronts. Whether you're in MyCareer, the Rec Center, or playing with friends in competitive modes, this build has what it takes to dominate.
If you’re a fan of Luka’s game or simply want a versatile build that can do it all, the Three-Level Playmaking Slasher is a must-try. Try it out, make adjustments based on your playstyle, and let Luka’s magic inspire your gameplay in NBA 2K25.
Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see this build in Buy NBA 2K MT Coins other modes or have suggestions for future tweaks! Don’t forget to subscribe to NBA2King for more NBA 2K25 content and updates.

TERRAPIN CLUBHOUSE/DARKSTARATHON #7: PHIL LESH with Jason Crosby, Stanley Jordan, Dan Lebo Lebowitz, Grahame Lesh, and John Molo
While this one made me very happy and, locked in to the Dark Star theme twice and had a fairly clear West LA Fadeaway theme and a developed Know You Rider jam, this one has little for anyone new to this music. It is not introductory at all.
It’s an almost 30 minute instrumental and the three guitars and electric piano occupied the same sonic space, though Dan Lebowitz’s 15 minutes on pedal steel added some color. Stanley Jordan’s tapping (very piano inspired he explained) was too buried and therefore his jazz sensibilities also couldn’t be too prominent. Interestingly, Grahame Lesh added more than I often hear from him.
Still this exploration gave PHIL LESH lots to work with as he played with the possibilities and gave back more. Another subtlety was that John Molo had the chops, power, and experience to lead jams not just respond to them.
All that said and probably for all those selfsame reasons, it was right in my wheelhouse.

Time for the Lakers to evaluate the future

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors weren’t good enough to make it to the first round of the NBA playoffs. Keven Durant and the Phoenix Suns were swept in four games by the Minnesota Timberwolves. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are one and done after the Denver Nuggets took them out of the postseason after five games. This is not an abbreviation. Or a mistake. Between Curry, James, and Durant, the three future Hall of Famers have 10 NBA championships. That doesn’t matter now. What matters is what’s current.

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (27) goes up for a shot against Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis (3) during the second half in Game 2 of an NBA basketball first-round playoff series, Monday, April 22, 2024, in Denver. (AP Photo/Jack Dempsey) The reality for the Lakers is that if they do not acquire another superstar talent soon, the LeBron James era will have come and gone with one abbreviated title which took place during the pandemic year of 2020. That would be a shame. But then again, the National Basketball Association (NBA) is a young man’s game. The game of basketball does not wait on anyone. You come. You’re there. You play, and then you depart. After 20 seasons of basketball in the NBA, James is a lot closer to leaving. James has won four championships during his career. It now looks like he may not win another unless some miracle happens. That’s because a new era of basketball has stamped itself on the NBA landscape. James and the Lakers are out of the NBA playoffs after participating in just one round of action. Last season, the Lakers made it to the Western Conference Finals where they succumbed to the more superior Denver Nuggets. After sweeping the Lakers in four games, the Nuggets advanced to the NBA Finals where they claimed their franchise title. The Nuggets kicked James and the Lakers out of the postseason again. This time it took five games instead of four. The Nuggets used to be patsies in the NBA, one of those teams that always lingered at the bottom of the NBA. That’s not the case anymore. Until someone says otherwise, the Nuggets are the best team in the league. While the Lakers have relied on tradition and an aging superstar to keep their mythical tradition alive, the Nuggets have gone out and secured the services of players in their prime. Players like Jamal Murray, who cold-heartedly dropped daggers in two of the four games against the Lakers to give Los Angeles the boot from the postseason. Murray shot a dropback fadeaway over Anthony Davis with no time left in regulation of Game 2 to hand the Lakers a heartbreaking loss. Murray did it again to the Lakers in Game 5. With a possible Game 6 riding on the outcome of Game 5, the Lakers played the Nuggets down to the wire. Once again, the Lakers left Murray alone on an island to go one-on-one with a singular defender with time winding down in the fourth quarter as they did in Game 2. And once again, Murray burned the Lakers for their miscalculation. Much like the way the Lakers played in Game 2, Murray was allowed to walk the ball up the court unimpeded and allowed to set up his game-winning shot. It was a bad call by the Lakers. Those decisions may wind up getting head coach Darvin Ham fired after two seasons of guiding the team. Ham is not why the Lakers have not beaten the Nuggets in 12 of the last 13 games they have played one another. There is some blame to shoulder for Ham, but he cannot be the singular reason why the Lakers have finished 1-8 in the two postseasons against the Nuggets.

Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell conferring with head coach Darvin Ham in a 127-116 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers on Jan. 23, 2024. Photo credit: Mark Hammond/News4usonline.com The truth is that the Lakers are not good enough anymore. The days of just showing up and stepping on the court meant victory is gone. The Lakers need to make a move this offseason to bring in another big-name talent to play alongside James (if he sticks around) and Anthony Davis (who is always hurt). What is James going to do outside of being a box-office draw? Yes, James can still play basketball. Michael Jordan could still play after he left the Chicago Bulls, but he never won another championship after leaving the Windy City. James is no longer the player who can will his team to a title. He needs help. A lot of it. That is just a fact. And other NBA teams are no longer beholden to the Lakers or are eager to help them to stay on top. Those other teams want their own traditions, parades and championship rings. Speaking of rings, unless Santa Claus is kind enough to bring some from the North Pole, it might be a long wait before the Lakers are fitted again for one inscribed with purple and gold on it. The Philadelphia 76ers faithful erupted Monday night, not just from the thunderous dunks and silky post moves, but from witnessing history unfold before their eyes. Joel Embiid, the man affectionately nicknamed "The Process," unleashed an offensive torrent unlike any seen in recent memory, pouring in a career-high 70 points to not only lead the 76ers to a 133-123 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, but to etch his name forever in Philadelphia's basketball lore.
Embiid's performance was a masterclass in offensive dominance. He was unstoppable down low, bullying defenders with his signature blend of power and finesse. He drained fadeaway jumpers with effortless grace, and even surprised with a newfound confidence from beyond the arc, knocking down four three-pointers on the night. The energy in the Wells Fargo Center was electric, with every basket met with an eruption of cheers and chants of "MVP! MVP!"
This wasn't just any 70-point game; it was a historic feat. Embiid surpassed Wilt Chamberlain's 68-point franchise record, a mark that had stood for nearly 55 years. The "Big Dipper," a legend not only in Philadelphia but throughout the NBA, had cast a long shadow over 76ers basketball history. But on Monday night, Embiid stepped out of that shadow and into the spotlight, claiming his own place in the team's pantheon of greats.
Embiid's scoring spree wasn't a lone wolf effort. He received stellar support from his teammates, with James Harden contributing 25 points and Tobias Harris adding 17. But this night belonged to Embiid. He was the conductor of the Philadelphia symphony, orchestrating the offense with a blend of power and precision that left the Spurs defense bewildered and the fans ecstatic.
The significance of Embiid's achievement transcends mere statistics. It represents the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. Drafted as a raw, injury-prone prospect, Embiid has transformed himself into one of the most dominant forces in the NBA. He's the face of the franchise, the cornerstone of their hopes for a championship. And on Monday night, he proved that he's not just talented, he's historic.
Embiid's 70-point performance will be remembered for years to come. It was a night of raw athleticism, unbridled joy, and a city united in its celebration of a basketball icon. It was the night Joel Embiid became more than just a player; he became a legend.
Here are some additional points you may want to consider including in your content:
The reactions of Embiid and his teammates to the record-breaking performance.

I’m in the mood for angst, so Em ignoring Kells, and kells feeling like shit because of it
saw an old man in a sweatsuit. thinking of u
The first day, he understands that Em is busy. He's always working on his own shit and working with artists he knows, too. He has shit to do other than answer Kells' dumbass texts.
The second day, he gets it still. Em isn't attached to his phone the way Kells is. But really, he could've at least opened the text. Maybe Em had just swiped away the text, he thinks.
fit check?
He sends the text with a mirror selfie he'd actually taken three days ago attached. He was wearing a hoodie he'd stolen from Em, there was no way he couldn't open it and respond.
By the third day, Kells would never admit it, but he's mad anxious. He'd been right about Em being unable to resist opening the text, but had been proven wrong when even hours later, he hadn't texted anything back. Was there something wrong? Had he said something to deserve the silent treatment he was getting? Was the sweatsuit comment, though he’d sent almost the exact message five times in the last few months, too far? He shoots off a quick we good??? and he pretends he doesn't notice the way his fingers shake on the keys.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth days drag and fly by at once. For the first time since Em's cold front had started, he was busy all day every day. He didn't have time to check his phone every hour and see the lack of notifications under Em's contact. He still felt every minute pass by. He perked up every time he did get a call or text, only to come down every time it wasn't who he wanted it to be.
With each day the urge to call or text Em again grew stronger, but he made himself wait. If Em wanted to talk to him, he'd reach out. He'd read Kells' message. The ball is in Em's court, though the more he thinks about it, Kells wonders if it's ever been his.
Seven days marks exactly a week since the last time Em texted him. His thumb hovers over the call button at least ten times throughout day. He needs to hear Em's voice, if only to hear him say that it's over. He can't just fade away. Kells won't let him.
This time, he actually presses call. Em doesn't pick up, but Kells stays on the line anyway, just to hear Em's outgoing message.
"Call me." He says quietly, desperately, into his phone when he gets prompted to leave a voicemail.
The worst part, he thinks when he gets to day eight and Em's radio silence has taken its permanent place as the most important thing on his mind, is that he doesn't even know what he did wrong. The last time they'd actually talked, they'd been facetiming and it felt like a normal conversation. There were no awkward pauses or barely concealed annoyed sighs, just a normal conversation that ended slowly, neither of them ready to hang up. When it finally came time, Kells pressed his screen to end the call, and cut Em off right in the middle of saying something.
He texted him right away and asked if it was something important, and Em texted back quickly.
Nah.
So Kells left it at that. And that was the last text Em had sent him. Kells hadn't thought anything of it at the time, but looking back a week and a day later, he wonders if the end of their normal phone call had been normal after all.
On day nine, or ten, Kells isn't sure what to call the wee hours of the morning when he hasn't slept at all, he finally breaks. Obviously Em doesn't want to talk to him. If he can ignore him like this without even an update text. No explanations of how busy he is or anything else Kells would think was bullshit but accept as an excuse because anything is easier than accepting the truth. The truth that he's finally come around to.
Em is done with him.
They had a good run: great sex, funny banter, and even though they argued twice a day it seemed, Kells has never really felt known like he did with Em. But that's over. Em has made it quite clear that he's done with this by ghosting him this last week.
Kells pulls out his phone and opens Em's contact for the last time.
Got the message, asshole. Guess this is over.
It's 4 AM California time, so around 6 in Detroit. Em is probably still sleeping. He'll wake up to a breakup text and be relieved. Kells hates him for it. Why did he have to be the one to send the final text, and the one to get his heart broken?
If Em wanted to end them he should've done it himself. But no, he's a fucking coward. He always has been. Kells should have fucking known. He's a stupid piece of shit for not knowing, for not expecting this. Em was always going to tire of him. Shit, he gets tired of himself sometimes, he's whiny and needy and kind of a prick, but he hadn't expected Em to just go silent. He'd thought they'd made it past the point of the fadeaway. He'd assumed he deserved more for Em. Kells chuckles into the dark. Idiot move. To believe he deserved anything but to get shit on.
Whatever, what's done is fucking done. Em can stop answering his texts, but he can't un-suck his dick or un-eat his ass. At the very least, Kells will always have that. There's enough memories of the two of them to relive a new one every night until he's finally over him.
After sending the text, Kells lays back onto the headboard of his bed and feels around his bedside table in the dark for the half smoked joint and lighter he'd left there earlier. He lights up in the dark, guided only by the flame of his lighter. In the dark, nobody can see the tears he sheds silently while he smokes. Not that there's anyone with him, he's alone and lonely. As it should be.
The roach is just starting to burn his fingers when his phone lights up and begins to buzz.
It's Em.
He contemplates letting it go to voicemail. He wants to ignore Em the way Em has been ignoring him. At the last minute he picks it up, unable to resist hearing Em's voice. It's pathetic, how much he needs to hear Em on the other line.
"Kells?" Em rasps into his ear.
"Hm?" He doesn't trust himself to talk. He might say some stupid shit like 'I didn't mean it' or 'take me back' or 'I love you'.
"Kells. Fuck. I just saw your text." Which one? He wants to snear. Which text? The one he just sent breaking up with him or the ones before that he had no problem ignoring?
"Okay." He says instead. His throat works tightly over the word, threatening to squeeze out one of the things he absolutely must not say.
"You're done with this? You want us to be over?" Em sounds frantic, but Kells doesn't understand how he didn't see it coming.
"You're the one who's been ignoring me for over a week! Obviously you want this to be over." The silent tears he shed earlier come back with a force that almost turns them into full blown sobs.
"No! Kells… That's not it."
"Then what is it?" There is no logical reason Em can give for going from texting and calling multiple times a day to radio silence for ten days.
But he wants to hear the illogical reason anyway.
"Do you remember what I said last week when we were about to end the call?" Their last call. When Em cut off in the middle of his sentence. And the last text he sent Kells. Nah
"Like right at the end? I didn’t hear you, you told me it was nothing."
"I said I love you." Those words steal the breath from his lungs. He chokes on the meaning behind them. Em loves him, he said he loves him. Regardless of what he said, though, he still hasn't talked to Kells in over a week.
"Kells... you still there?" Em says says he's been silent for a while. Kells inhales deeply, clearing his lungs of the last of the weed and what Em just laid on him.
"Yeah. I'm just tryna understand how the fuck you go from saying you love me to not thinking I'm worth a fucking text back." He hadn't known his words would come out with such bite, hard despite coming out through tears, but it's what Em deserves.
"We haven't said that yet." Em says like that explains the cold shoulder.
"I know."
"You didn't say it back. Man, you fuckin’ hung up." Kells wants to hang up again. He's told Em multiple times now.
"I didn't hear you." His voice is wrecked and desperate. If he had heard Em, he would've said it back. He's been feeling the same way for months, but hadn't wanted to ruin what they had by admitting to such deep feelings so early on.
"I know but... it fucking scared me, y'know? I said I love you, Kells. Do you know how fucking awful that is, to say you love someone and have them not say it back?"
Do you know how hard it is to be ignored by someone you love, he wants to ask? Does Em know how awful it is to fall in love so easily you never know when it's real until they leave? Because Kells knows how Em feels, but he doubts Em knows how he feels.
"You didn't answer my calls. You left my texts on fucking read." He's crying openly now, loud sobs into the night.
"I know and I'm sorry. It was a dick move, but I didn't know what to say to you. I love you, Kells, and I was convinced you didn't love me back, that you hung up on purpose to get out of saying anything back, so I tried to see how long I could last without you. I fucking tortured myself...." Em clears his throat and lowers his voice "Obviously, I wasn't just torturing myself."
"No. You weren't."
"I'm sorry, so fucking sorry. I love you Kells. I didn't mean to hurt you."
Kells doesn't forgive him. Because even if he didn't mean to, he did hurt him. Bad. He's spent the last ten days in pain and he won't lie about it. So he tells Em the truth, though both his brain and heart beg him to tell an easier to swallow lie.
"I love you, too." He says.

Song Review(s): Phil Lesh & Friends - “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo,” “West L.A. Fadeaway” and “Darkstar” (Live, Sept. 18, 2021)
Phil Lesh has abandoned the arrangement of “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo” the Other Ones debuted in 1998, and Dead & Company still play, in favor of the good ol’ Grateful Dead way of presenting it.
But Lesh, as he did in ’98, still sings it. And it suits his atonal baritone fairly well as his current stable of friends - guitarists Stu Allen and Grahame Lesh, keyboardist Holly Bowling and drummer John Molo - provide superb support.
“Half-Step” was the opener and one of three tracks - along with “West L.A. Fadeaway” and “Darkstar” - the band shared from its final of three concerts/streams Sept. 18 in Colorado.
Allen took the mic for “West L.A.,” and the song’s ample open spaces left plenty of room for him to engage in six-string dueling with Lesh the Younger, who played slide, and for Bowling to work her 88 keys - and the audience - into a frenzy.
youtube
While that was at-times frenetic, “Dark Star” was the anthesis. It glided off from the bridge with a cappella vocals before settling into a mellow, exploratory jam that led to verse 1, a round-robin from Lesh the Elder (who struggled with the key) to Allen to Lesh the Younger before picking up a head of steam.
As is Phil’s wont, these Friends are a three-off. As tight as these songs - and offerings from the previous two nights - were, it’d be something to hear what they could do with several more shows to work with.
Grade card: Phil Lesh & Friends - “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo,” “West L.A. Fadeaway” and “Darkstar” (Live - 9/18/21) - B+/B/B

on ode to the bean.
its been two days since your passing. over the course of 48 hours there has been fourteen games played in the league, two of which were rockets games. i watched both games and it just didn’t feel the same. seeing all these teams giving their tribute to you has made my eyes water each time. every time i open my phone, every time i turn on espn, there is your name. i hated you growing up. you killed my team each time you played them. but as i grew up, seeing how you handled your career through adversity, mistakes, countless allegations. it made me respect you as a person more than the basketball legend you are. the strides you took even after you gracefully stepped away from the game had myself and almost everyone envisioning the philanthropist you were on your way in being. you once said “if you’re not in it to win, why are you in it.” who would’ve thought a person i hated would be the inspiration i needed to stop being complacent. when i was younger, i would always say that i am just a guy that’s trying to be remembered when i am gone. somewhere a long the road i became okay with just rolling over in my grave and just becoming another name on a stone. you ignited the fire in me again. i want to have the impact you have. i want to have a legacy that has more to be remembered for than just my mistakes. the biggest thing that has been the bane of my existence is the fact that when i make a mistake, i kill myself over and over again. you airballed 5 threes in that game against utah and you didn’t even skip a beat. you played through 141 injuries through your career. you missed 42 game winners. i hope to one day emulate that from you, you make a mistake, you fuck up, you say it happened and move on to the next game. move on to the next day.
i made this post mostly to get all these thoughts and emotions out so that i can scroll on instagram or twitter and not have to hold back tears. this is probably the most i’ve been affected by the death of a person that literally has no relation to me other than being on the other side of a tv screen. this isn’t something that will be gone next week. you can see the impact this man had by seeing how much his death brought people together. there is still hate in the world and for once its not making the headlines. its not the first thing we see in the morning. you wake up to positivity from negativity for once. you wake up to people coming together from LA to Philadelphia to Italy to the Philippines to China. your reach knew no bounds, your influence knew no bounds.
whenever i found out your daughter Gianna passed alongside with you. man i didn’t think my heart could sink even lower. seeing her highlights, seeing how you were with her. its something that i imagine for myself, my kid embracing the love for the game i had. and it appeared she inherited your unmatched love for the game ten fold. seeing her highlights i immediately thought about the video a fan made where it was comparing you and jordan, how they faded jordan into you doing the same fadeaway he had. i could already see them adding Gianna at the end doing your same move. it hurt me seeing someone with that much passion in something get taken away from it when they were just getting started.
you were my generation’s michael jordan. i will never forget you or your legacy. hell i still don’t even believe you’re gone. i thought i was gonna hear you deliver one of the greatest hall of fame speeches of all time. i thought i was gonna see you coach a team. i thought i was gonna see you sitting courtside at every all star weekend, at finals games just like bill russell. i thought you were gonna live forever. now, you will. through the hearts and minds of basketball fans. through kobe fans.
rest in peace kobe bryant. rest in peace gianna bryant. rest in peace john altobelli. rest in peace keri altobelli. rest in peace alyssa altobeli. rest in peace christina mauser. rest in peace sarag chester. rest in peace payton chester. rest in peace ara zobayam.

THEY NEVER KNOW (Chapter Thirteen)
Author’s note: This is my first time writing, so I hope you all will forgive my mistake and grammar too.
This story has taken little inspiration from Sehun web story “ Dokgo Rewind”.
Pairing: Sehun x reader
Genre: Fluff, Angst, Mature, Language (some time will be there), Violence, Smut, Crime au, College au
-Y/N P.O.V-
You didn't go to the store after a long mental fight. After Sehun's third message, asking 'Where are you?'. You reply to him, 'I'm don't want to come today. After the work he has, close the store, take the key with him, you'll see him tomorrow.'
You think for the whole day and decide to go to his place, to know what happens to Sehyun. You gather your courage and reach his place. You didn't talk to Sehun. Although he invited you, he doesn't know you were standing out of his place. You press the doorbell, no noise came from it. Gussing the doorbell was not working so, you called him.
He picks up, restlessly asks, "Y/N, are you okay? Did you get hurt? Where are you? Tell me. I will be there as soon as I can."
You answer his only one question, "I'm outside your house."
He replies, "Okay, wait for me. I'll be there soon. Wait a minute. Did you say my house? What are you doing here? Does it mean you are okay?"
He was showing you overconcern, "Yes. I tried the doorbell. I guess it is not working...." He cut you. "Stay silent. I'll come to you. Please do not knock at my door." You cut the call. You cannot understand yourself. You are angry with him then why didn't you do anything about it? Why didn't you show it? Why are you still trying not to hurt him? He opens the door before you could say anything, he put a finger to his lips, gesturing you to stay silent. It confused you. He silently invites you inside.
You step inside, see two figure sleeping before you can say anything, he grabs your hand drag you to other room, to the bedroom. He pushes you inside and closes the door behind. You keep looking at hand which is holding yours he let go.
For a moment you couldn't take eyes of the things. It was an ordinary room, but for you, it is Sehyun room. The place in which he had been every day. He had told you about his house still you have never been here, not while he was alive. It was your first time coming to his house. You look around the study table, the cupboard, the large mirror, few pictures of him with family members here and there. And bunk bed your gift to him and Sehun. While you busy looking around, Sehun stays silent.
You take steps toward bunk bed with teary eyes, said, "You still have it?" Sehun said, "Have what?" You sit on the bed and say, "This bunk bed. I have gifted both of you, on the birthday." He looked stunned and said, "You had given this gift Sehyun didn't buy it!"
"He never has that much money."
Sehun huff, "Of course, he doesn't. How could he? When he loves you so much."
"Excuse me, what is that supposed to mean?"
“He must have spent a lot of money on the customized gift in your room.” You don’t know how to reply to it Sehun looks angry about it. In frustration, he grabs his hair and says, “Look around. There is plenty of things he said he had bought. I’m sure many of them must have been giving by you.” You dumbfound. He is getting angry over a gift while you have still hide angry over the kiss.
"I'm sorry to take out my anger on you. Sehyun always used to say. He loves me the most. He never hides anything from me, but he did, including you. Anyways, What are you doing here?" You wanted to ask him to say more about Sehyun, but if you hear more, you will lose your courage and start crying. You took a deep breath, "W-what happen to him?" Finally, Sehun looked the way you wanted, hurt from his brother death.
Sehun tells you everything. While telling you saw him cry as well as anger. You also cried while hearing, couldn't hold your self back. He explained Sehyun death night and his parent death. "You must be thinking those people have come for me and by mistake, Sehyun caught in between. Believe me, I assumed the same thing, but no, those people have something to do with his college." He told you what have they found out till now and what he is thinking to do next. You carefully listen to everything. He continued, "That day you met on the road, I got confused. Sehyun never told me about you. Y/N, I'm sorry. Whatever I did, I never meant it to happen. I know it was not right, but I thought of using you." You hate him for everything you want to tell him that. And 'using you.'
He understands your unsaid question and says, "That day I thought to experiment living like Sehyun with you. To say it in simple language, if you couldn't see the difference between me and him no one else would too, but then I-I-I......." You understand and cut him, "So you kiss me to see if I can figure out you are Sehyun or not. You are an idiot like him. You could have told me then. How could you think of this nonsense and play with someone feelings? And what if later I have found out. And what if we would have done something more than a kiss. Did you even think about it?" His voice comes small, "I'm sorry. Please believe me, I would have not crossed my line. I admit for not thinking properly." You control yourself, "Thank God, that kiss was not for some other reason. I'm so angry about everything. I'm hurt, but it is okay until it is because of Sehyun."
He looks hurt for some reason. You ignore it. Then he hummed. "Why didn't cops find anything?", you asked. "I have no idea about it. The first month after his death, I use to go every day to the police station. They use to repeat the same thing." He told you more about college, Jaehyun moreover other things. When he announced, he has completed telling you everything. You feel like he is hiding something. You ignore it too. You already hear too much, more than your heart could take. Sehun leaves you alone in the room, giving you space. Unwantedly, crying you fall asleep there.
The week has passed after losing your world. You become more lost in grief. Again your life took a different turn. Till last week you had hope, to restarted everything again. Now there is nothing.
In college, you try to escape away from everyone and find a place where you peaceful cry. Mishil and Myung observe it but let you do what you want.
The most problematic part of the day is when you go to work and have to see Sehun. He has maintained his distance from you, yet, he is too close. He never forgets to bring you lunch, whenever you couldn't do work properly he helps. If you say truthfully, you cannot do anything. He does all the thing without saying a word. You were kind of glad as your boss decided to extend his holidays.
You often get confused, even after knowing about Sehyun death, you keep forgetting it. Sehun was similar to his brother. His smile, his eyes, his behavior even heartbeat is the same. That is the reason, to obey him when feeding you or try to help you and then get anger on yourself. You were anger on him for everything he has done but knowing the reason you couldn't hate him. Although, Sehun normal behavior everyday make angry.
There is nothing left for you to do, Sehun does everything to take vengeance, to fulfill his incomplete dreams. Not that you can do any of it, but still it is one more reason to hate him. At night he drove back to your home. Your empty house reminder of how alone you are. You have a meaningless life which you want to end but don’t know how to.
New morning, new day but old you, you woke up with a similar headache because of all the crying at night. You skip college if Mrs. Kim finds out she will scowl you, but you don’t care anymore.
Doorbell rings, as usual, you thought Sehun come with food and take you to work. You want to tell him to stop caring and leave you alone to fadeaways but you cannot. His face was stopping you, not letting you end your life. You were bottling up all your anger.
You open the door someone else was there you don't know his name though he was Sehun's friends. He said with a smile, “Hi Y/n, do you remember me?” You nodded he had similar food bag that Sehun bring you. Where is he? He said, “Sehun couldn’t come so, he sends me. I’m Jinwoo. May I come in?” You let him come in. He places food bag in the dinner table and look around and said, “You have a nice house.” You give him a fake smile, “Thank you.” He smiles back, “You don’t have to give a fake smile. It is okay I know Sehyun death is new for you. I remember how Sehun was when I see you.” He starts removing food from the bag you ask, “Why?” He smiles and says, “For three month he never smile just like you, he tries to hide it although we know whenever we leave him alone for even a minute he cries." You hummed.
You both eat in silence, you ask, “Do you know Sehyun?” Jinwoo looks up and says, “No, I don't know him. We never knew Sehun had brother until the incident. After that, we promise to find Sehyun killer.” You nod and ask, “Why?” He gives a small smile, "Because of Sehun, he is our friend. It helps him to get peace, and those people deserve to get punished." You hummed.
Not able to control yourself, you ask, "Where is Sehun?” He didn’t answer like he was deciding whether he should say or not. “You cannot say it?” you ask. He runs his hand through his hair and says, “I don’t know how to. Sehun doesn't want to get you to involve in the mess. You can ask him when to meet.” you nod. Jinwoo is surprisingly cute. He had made you smile with his silliness, yet he fully understands your feeling. He drops you to store.
You were alone in the store, Sehun was running late so again back to your thinking of Sehyun and about what Jinwoo had said. After one hour Sehun comes with a bruise around his face, dirt on clothes. You look him with wide eyes silently asking what happen. He is Sehyun brother, you cared about him, because of Sehyun it has become your habit. He understands your question, “It is nothing, not even paining. Let me change first, I will explain.” You nodded. By the time he changes, you arrange the medical box. He comes out same time Yuna entry in the store. She hugs him and examining his wound. You hide your medical box pretending to work. When you hear her asking to remove his shirt to clean the wound, you ask them to the used storage room. She drags him inside. It hurt you seeing their closeness. You question yourself for getting hurt by it. In conclusion, you thought it is because you are still not using by Sehyun death, till last week he was Sehyun for you. After she left Sehun to try to talk with you, you ignore him.
Few more days pass you're more sensitive only Sehun know how to handle you. You meet Sehun other friends, Teayong. He and Yuna show their dislike toward you, not that you care, still you want to know the reason for it. In other hands Jinwoo heartwarming, you can call him your friend. Sehun, his natural behavior bothered you. You know how much he loves his brother and he has to live to take avenge still some time you think he doesn't care about him. From inside you know it is hard for him, maybe more than you. You cannot point out, but there was something else bothering you. Actually, you want a reason to hate and stay angry with him for everything he has done with you.
Whenever Sehun gets close to you or takes care of you, Yuna tries to come in between or give Sehun a look. You can unquestionably see her distress, she like Sehun. You want to talk with her, to say Sehun is just helping you and he doesn't have any feeling toward you. Except she don't talk with you.
Myung and Mishil dating anniversary was there today. They ask you to come to join them in a club. Unable to say no you went. They have invited many of their other friends. So their attention was not on you. In the bar corner, you were wasting yourself with drinks; not caring who is where lost in your world. Everything was running in your mind. Some random person comes next to you and says, “Hey, beauty needs a company?” You didn’t answer and continue drinking hard liquor. By now, you were drunk with your broken heart and life. He says again, “Come on, beauty. I will show you a good time.” You didn’t look up, “Whatever.” You are thinking of Sehyun and how angry he became when you drink or talk about getting drunk. That person hands rest on your thighs and going up. Your mind doesn't alert you to stop him. It was busy thinking of everything.
Sehun comes from nowhere and punches that person. Mishil comes next to me and asks, “Are you okay?” Everything was happening so fast you couldn't understand what happened. Myung handover that person to security. You were looking at everyone in confusion your eyes landed on Sehun. He looks so fierce. He comes, tightly grab your hand starts dragging you, you struggle to free from his grip but no use. No one helped while he drag you out. He took you back to your home. You got somewhat sober after empty your stomach in the road while coming home.
You said, “Thanks for bringing me home.” He shouted, “ARE YOU INSANE? HOW ARE YOU SO OKAY AFTER WHAT HAPPEN?” You also snap back, “STOP IT YOU ARE HURTING MY EAR.” He huffs and grabs your arms, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” You said, “Leave my arms. You are hurting me.” He didn’t let go. You shouted, “DIDN'T YOU HURT ME ENOUGH ALREADY? LEAVE ME ALONE LIKE IT SUPPOSED TO BE AFTER SEHYUN DEATH.”
He shouts back, "I AM SORRY FOR HURTING YOU AND NO, I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE. I HAVE LOST HIM TOO. I AM ALSO HURT. I CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS. BUT IT DOES MEAN TO LOSE MIND COMPLETELY." You start crying and ask, "Why do you care? You're pretending to be Sehyun, but you are not him. So, stop caring about me and leave me alone. It is not your concern what happens to me." He let you go and huffs, "You are insane. Do you even know what could have happened if I'd not come there on time? And I cannot leave you alone. I won't. "
"Why not? Why it matters to you?"
"It matters to me. You are my concern. Don't ask me why ......"
You cut him, "WHY?"
He yells, "Because I LOVE YOU." You stare at him. He continues, "I love you. That is why you matter to me. I cannot see you hurt or let anyone hurt you. And of course, Sehyun is my biggest reason. He loved you that is enough reason you protect you." You started to laugh loudly and said, “You love me? Really? How could you say rubbish like this? And you cannot see me hurt; You are the one who is hunting me.” You continue, “Okay. Let say this; You do love me. But then, how could you come near. You knew I think of you as Sehyun still you kissed me. Is that what you call love?" He opens his mouth to say something. You stop him and continue, "What do you want from me? If you loved me, why didn't you told me about his death? Or maybe you never want me to know. So could stay with me. Did you wish to sleep with me?" He becomes weak and says, “You are taking it wrong. I wanted to tell you. I tried to tell you...." You cut him, “How? When? You make Sehyun look bad, by messing up. I don’t have to repeat it how.” He grabs his hair in frustration, “You are getting all wrong. I ask you to meet me after work that day. I can explain everything to you, but you were not ready.”
“Only after I come to know, who you are? What about before that?”
“I wanted Y/N. I almost told you in the park.”
“I don’t need to remind you what you did in the park.”
“Please listen to me. You don’t know the whole story. Let me explain. After it, I will do what you say me too.”
“I don’t want to know anything. Sehyun is death. His brother kisses me without my knowledge, then take care of me. One more thing, why are you so okay after Sehyun. He used to tell me, you love him, he is part of you but you look fine without it didn’t affect you. You don’t care for him. You are just putting up show about care.”
You know you cross some line. It was a lie, Sehun is more effective than you. He shouts your name and raises his hand to hit you. He looks angry more than you ever have seen anybody, a small part of you was scared of it. Whatever you had said, you regret it. Deep inside, you know Sehun. He is Sehyun brother. He would have never used you. Yes, he did kiss. You can never forgive it. But he is not bad.
It hit you when you see tears forming in his eyes. He turns around and says, “You will never see me again. I will leave the job. I’m sorry for everything but Y/N I do love my brother more then you can think of, I don’t care if you believe me or not. And hate me as much you want.” he left without looking back.
You fall on your knees and start crying. You were alive after knowing Sehyun death because to get to see his face. You can deny and be angry from the outside, but inside you knew, you will die for loneliness without Sehun. Unwantedly, Sehun has become part of your life. You don’t hate him. You were just frustrated with everything. You don’t know what to do next.
You never wanted him to go like that. Hurting him, hurt you too. He did wrong without a doubt, but doubting his love, for his brother was not right. Jinwoo told you how Sehun is coping alone with everything, how he is fighting.
You got up and run after him. After a while, you saw him. Aching to call his name to stop him, but your throat was dry after shouting and cry. In the middle of the road, you stop questioning yourself, 'Why are you going after him?' You did wrong, but nothing compares to him. You wanted him to live you alone.
You see him going away from your eyes. If you take a few more step to stop him, it will take you back to leaving without Sehyun. And if you turn back, you will be alone until your heart stop. You're thinking while you see Sehun going more further. You closed your eye again get lost in your world. Until you feel something hit and then everything went blank.

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN recently explained why he thinks the Lakers have taken such a liking towards Kyle Kuzma. “I also think Kobe Bryant really likes Kyle Kuzma,” Youngmisuk said. “Kyle Kuzma is a guy that has had dinner with Kobe Bryant. Of the three young guys, he exuded more of a mamba mentality openly, and I think obviously Kobe Bryant, who is very close friends with Rob Pelinka, best friends, in fact, for 20 years.” _ (H/T Fadeaway World / SiriusXM) (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/By20FLRHJbf/?igshid=1r1oe16yy0kvy
