I'm just gonna hc that after Shelby and Kathrine saved Joey from Skeletron, they went sailing for a few years, and during those years Shelby learnt storm magic and got together with Katherine and later they settled down on land while Joey continued his pirate adventures. Then the Supreme Games started, and Witchcraft began.

This explains why wc!Joey knew who Pirate Joe was and why Agetha (wc!Scotts trader) had the skull that stole empires Scotts eye.

Katherine: So i was talking to Gem about Princess Stuff, which actually means we were talking about how wrong the word princess feels for us. Crazy that its a universal thing for princesses to hate being called princesses!

Katherine: And then we started talking about the pressure to be ladylike and how much we want to just drop all the pretentious outfits and just run away to be heroes and farmers

Katherine: Gem was talking about this one time Scott called her a hot guy and how much she liked it, personally I’m not a big fan of “hot” but being called a guy sounds cool!

Katherine: Its so cool how this is a common thing between princesses and i finally have someone who gets me! Princess Alliance for life!

Katherine: So, what about you?

Joey, internally: Oh my god they don’t know.

So I watched Joey's finale, and this wont be actual spoilers just Fairytale trio things I thought of after watching the episode:))

Just. imagine a fanfic where Joey & Shelby get into a stupid argument and Kat just watches

& Joey says something so out of pocket(because its on brand for Joey)

and Shelby says something like

"I don't understand why I even love you!"

and just "HUH" "Woah" "oh gods why did i say that."

Kat, smiling at them bc: wow, you realized what ive known for a while
