Farah Khan Devours Burgiir At Abdu Rozik's New Restaurant
Burgers are one of many easiest and most scrumptious quick meals, they usually haven’t undergone a lot change all these years. A delicious patty slapped between two fluffy buns tastes so good that we hold asking for extra. Add some lettuce, sauces, a cheese slice, and tomatoes to it and you’ll be absolutely left drooling earlier than taking a chew. We simply cannot cover our love for burgers and…

Hello everybody.
"Hello, I am Farah. I want to tell you about my suffering from the beginning of the war from October 7th until today. We spent the first week in Gaza. During this short period, we were subjected to many threats of evacuation due to the bombing that took place near us. After that, we were displaced on October 13th to the south of Gaza, specifically in the Khan Yunis area. We were displaced in a place affiliated with UNRWA for a period of 3 months. We slept in a large number of people, 12 people, in a place 3 meters by 3 meters on a mat on the ground. There were no mattresses or headrests (pillows). We suffered from a lack of drinking water and pollution in the place, and overcrowding and crowding to use the bathroom. We waited an hour until we could use the bathroom.
Tumblr media
We also suffered from the lack of meat or chicken, and all we ate was canned. Our children suffered from the lack of food for them, such as milk and eggs. We also suffered from the high prices of diapers and their lack of availability, to the point that the price of a pack of diapers ranged from $50 to $70. Despite the fact that it was a place affiliated with UNRWA, we were subjected to a siege for 10 days, and the Israeli army bombed the barracks and fired live bullets at the place. The place was evacuated..
Tumblr media
Until now, the army has bombed areas near where we are in Al-Zawaida and we are suffering from hearing the sounds of explosions and clashes day and night. When we get sick and the children get sick, there is no treatment for us, no medicines, no hospitals, and my nephews and I suffer from skin allergies, toothaches, etc., and the scorching sun rays have caused us skin burns.
Tumblr media
We also suffer from transportation and its high cost. We have started riding a cart pulled by an animal. People have started putting vegetable oil in their cars as fuel instead of gasoline and diesel, and this pollutes the air. Also, using firewood to cook food due to the lack of gas causes cancer, asthma, and difficulty breathing.

Hello, I am Nora Maliha from the devastated Gaza Strip. I am 24 years old, studying special education, and was about to graduate. I come from a academically accomplished and ambitious family. My father works in the occupied territories, and my mother is a homemaker. I have two sisters (Dina and Farah) and three brothers (Ahmed, Mohammed and Amr)
Dina:-
A teacher, graduated with honors from university after achieving a 98.9% GPA in high school in 2014. A determined and ambitious girl who faced life's challenges alone despite our difficult financial circumstances, managing to make a difference in society as a woman
Ahmed:-
A third-year college student majoring in software engineering, my elder brother trying to shoulder responsibilities in the absence of our father. Life seems bigger than him as a young man unable to secure his daily
Farah:-
The cheerful girl who graduated high school with a 90% GPA, started her educational journey at university in her first year. Farah, who never gave up, spoke to us about her ambitions and visions for the future.
Mohammed:-
The beautiful child, thirteen years old, excelling in his studies. Unlike the rest of the family, Mohammed suffered from a severe respiratory crisis and chronic inflammation of the airways. His companion was the respiratory device he couldn't live without. What broke Mohammed's heart was leaving his device behind when we were forced to flee to southern Gaza.
Amr:-
Eleven years old and very bright in his studies, Amr is mischievous, aiming to become a mechanical engineer.
Our Story:
Since childhood, we've lived in a rented house, and our father worked tirelessly abroad to afford us a home of our own, but we never achieved that dream. We led a quiet and stable life, dreaming of studying hard to build our future.
All these dreams shattered on October 7th. We lost contact with our father in the occupied territories and haven't heard from him since. Until now, we receive unverified news. We endured the early days of war in northern Gaza, refusing to evacuate to the south, hoping for its end. We couldn't sleep at night due to intense bombing and heavy artillery until November 15th when the occupation forces stormed our home, forcing us to flee on foot to the south. My mother, siblings, and I passed through the occupation forces' checkpoint, forcibly searched and terrorized by gunfire. I can't describe how much we cried that day. We headed to the Red Crescent headquarters in Khan Yunis, where we stayed for about a month and a half without any assistance. We received news of the occupation army entering and destroying our home completely. Here begins Mohammed's story as he started feeling extreme fatigue due to the air pollution from the smell of gunpowder and rockets. The Red Crescent had to resuscitate him using medical devices insufficient for all the patients. One dark night, the Israeli army bombed the Red Crescent without any prior warning, prompting my mother, siblings, and me to flee to Rafah. We set up a tent on the beach in the freezing cold, unable to afford food, water, or Mohammed's medication. Rafah is no longer safe; the Israeli army threatens to invade, and we have no shelter or place to escape to. We feel deep sadness and extreme despair for our devastated lives, for our father far away, whom we haven't been able to contact for five months, alone without a provider, worried about Mohammed's inability to tolerate the smell of gunpowder. His health condition is critical, and action needs to be taken immediately to save his life. He and his family seek help and assistance for evacuation to Egypt. However, we cannot cover all these expenses, and those in charge shouldn't leave us to suffer the psychological and physical trauma that has accompanied us and worsened during the genocide in Gaza.
All we wish is for you to help us cross the Rafah crossing to Egypt to start anew.
Information and cost for crossing to Egypt via its only agent, "Yahala Company":Information and cost for crossing to Egypt via its only agent, "Yahala Company":
$5000 per adult (we are five adults), totaling $25,000.
$2500 per person under 18 (2 children), totaling $5000.
Renting an apartment in Egypt costs $166 monthly ($2000 for a full year).
Total amount: $32,000.

hello, i’ve been asked by @nesmamomen to share the story of them and their family living in gaza :)
the people in nesma’s family are: moenn (55), hanaa (45), dina (25), nour (ONLY 6), omar (ONLY 5), nesma (23), shahad (19), farah (17), muhammad (15), ahmed (15), abdullah (13), taleen (11), and lastly they have a cat and a bird.
nesma is a distinguished student in her final year at the faculty of information technology at the islamic university of gaza. now, imagine yourself, you’re in your final year of university. you’re excited about graduating, thinking about your future and planning to get your dream job. but then, your dreams get shattered because there is a mass bombing in your area. all the houses are destroyed, you have to live in a tent with diseases spreading and bugs lying around. no clean drinking water, or food, or anything.
horrible, right? well, that is the life that nesma and her family is dealing with. and plus, her sister, shahad, was celebrating her accomplishment of getting a great grade in her first year at the faculty of pharmacy at al-azhar university. shahad was going to work in the medical field, she could’ve done something great in her future. but now, because of israel’s genocide on the palestinian peoples, their dreams are now crushed. and also, farah was going to go to medical school. But now she can’t, because the schools are bombed by israel.
Tumblr media
nesma’s father, moenn, suffers from chronic diseases such as: diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problems. these are problems that need to be handled immediately, but again, because of the genocide and mass bombing. there is no more medicine to help moenn. and nesma’s younger brother can’t walk from a disabling injury.
Tumblr media
moenn was injured in the bombing and was arrested in khan yunis. which subjected to torture, abuse, and starvation. which lead to his health deteriorating and a complete collapse where he had the inability to move. the medicine has ran out for him, he needs medicine to survive. and they’re expensive too, which nesma’s family has a lack of money and can’t get it.
but, there is still hope, even with everything i’ve described. there is a gofundme for nesma’s family, they have raised $107,082 USD and their goal is $150,000. PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE THIS AND NESMA’S POSTS!! her account is mentioned in the first sentence of this post! <3

They were first displaced to Khan Younis, where all 12 had to sleep on 3m by 3m mattress on the ground, and suffered from a lack of food, water, high pollution, overcrowding, and having to wait an hour just to use the bathroom.
Then they were displaced to the central area in Al-Zawaida, where bombing is still ongoing, and where there is a lack of basic life necessities, and where they have to walk for a distance of up to 20 minutes just to receive internet from cards that last for only hours that they have to pay for.

- The evacuation of displaced persons has taken place from the headquarters of [Palestine Red Crescent Society] and Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza this morning after the Israeli occupation's siege of both. This evacuation will be through a path specified by the occupation forces under rare and difficult conditions, leading to the south of the Strip. - The Israeli occupation forces intensified the siege of Al-Quds Hospital by advancing their way to the entrance of the hospital. They have also continued to directly attack Al-Quds Hospital through the firing of live ammunition at the intensive care unit of the hospital and the civilians inside the building, resulting in the injury of a number of displaced persons. These cases have been dealt with in the emergency unit of the hospital, in conjunction with PCRS crews' active commitment and maintenance of their humanitarian duties within the hospital and at the Society's headquarters. [...] - The PRCS' ambulance lines of communication "101" are facing disruption due to Israeli occupation forces' repeated and close bombardment in areas around the Society's headquarters and ambulance stations, rendering responses to calls for help increasingly challenging. [...] - The PRCS' ambulance lines of communication as well as VHF waves are also facing deliberate disruptions by the Israeli occupation; they are receiving calls heavy with insults and profanity in Hebrew for long periods of time in order to keep ambulance lines occupied, further impeding humanitarian relief. [...] - (12) ambulance vehicles and (2) administrative (special use) vehicles pertaining to the PRCS are out of order as a result of violations and very serious damage. [...] - Two ambulance stations in northern Gaza, Gaza Ambulance, and the PRCS' main warehouses are out of service due to repeated targeting in their surroundings. Severe damage has also been inflicted upon the Society's headquarters in Gaza, northern Gaza, and Khan Yunis, and to the Emergency Operations Room and Al-Quds hospital.
-- "Palestine Red Crescent Society: Response Report As of Saturday, October 7th 2023, 6:00 PM Until Sunday, November 12th 2023, 24:00 AM" via ReliefWeb
Nebal Farsakh, spokesperson for the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), says the situation inside the al-Quds Hospital is “dire, catastrophic”. Farsakh said some 300 people, including medical staff, patients, wounded people, and their families, are currently in the process of evacuating to the south. Those injured will be treated in one of the few operating hospitals there, she told Al Jazeera. They have been “besieged, unable to go out of the hospital and no one can even get inside the hospital”, Farsakh said. For days, those inside al-Quds Hospital had no access to food or running water, she added.

Farah Khan had a parallel kitchen that we had to work with. The best part about the kitchen was how much space it had. The countertops were spacious, and there was enough distance between the two countertops to move about freely. Despite the parallel kitchen, it did not feel cramped. By placing the cooktop and sink on opposite sides of the kitchen, we made sure that there was enough space to move around the kitchen with ease and safety.
Under-Cabinet Lighting for a Bright and Inviting Atmosphere
Tumblr media
To enhance the ambiance and functionality of the kitchen, we installed under-cabinet lighting that illuminates the countertops and highlights the mint-black-white combination of the kitchen. The soft glow of the LED lights creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the kitchen more welcoming and practical.
Marble Walls for a Luxurious Touch
Tumblr media
To add a touch of luxury and elegance to the kitchen, we used black marble tiles for the walls behind the cooktop and sink. The natural veins and patterns of the marble create a stunning visual effect that elevates the kitchen's design and adds value to the home.
Hidden Profile Handles and Soft-Touch Closing for a Sleek Look and Fee
Tumblr media
To achieve a clean and minimalist look, we used hidden profile handles that blend seamlessly with the cabinet doors and drawers. This design detail adds a touch of sophistication and practicality, as it eliminates the need for protruding handles that can catch on clothing or bump into people. We also installed soft-touch closing mechanisms that ensure the doors and drawers close smoothly and silently, without slamming or making a sound.
Overhead Chimney for Effective Ventilation and Lighting
Tumblr media
To eliminate smoke and odor during cooking and ensure proper ventilation, we installed an overhead chimney that extracts the fumes and steam from the cooktop and vents them outside. This not only improves the air quality and safety of the kitchen but also provides extra lighting for the workspace.
PDR Unit and Pull-Out Pantry for Customized Storage
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To optimize the storage capacity and organization of the kitchen, we designed a combination of cabinets and units. We also installed a tall unit that accommodates the oven and microwave at eye level and a PDR (Plate and Dry Rack) unit that allows you to drain your crockery. Placed above the sink, it works perfectly to dry your utensils without leaving them in the open. To keep the pantry items organized and reachable, we added a pull-out pantry that slides out like a drawer and offers multiple shelves and baskets for different food and supplies.
Farah Khan’s Delight On The Completion Of Her Kitchen
On completion of the kitchen renovation, Farah Khan showed off her new kitchen and said:
"As you can see, everything is stainless steel, and I am just amazed. I would recommend Kuche7 not only to all my friends but also to all of you. I think I’m going to become their brand ambassador because I am absolutely delighted with my kitchen. Now I just have to train my staff because they're so used to the old kitchen that it has to be very gentle, and I think a lot more Farah ki daawat are going to happen from this kitchen.”

Price: [price_with_discount] (as of [price_update_date] - Details) [ad_1] Filmmaking is a chance to lead many lifetimes  Robert Altman  Director: the invisible, omnipotent presence in cinema; a word that holds spaces inaccessible to most people. In Directors Diaries, Rakesh Bakshi demystifies that figure through the voices of twelve of the most iconic film-makers of our time. In doing so, he happens upon the greater questions of destiny and chance and how sometimes random encounters end up determining the course of a persons life. Bakshis interviews turn into deep and intimate conversations: Imtiaz Alis transformative experience as a reader during summer vacations, locked in a room; Govind Nihalanis visits with his father to temples in Udaipur, which influenced him as a cinematographer and filmmaker; Ashutosh Gowarikers disappointment at faring poorly in his board exams and being forced give up his dream to study architecture, which led him to seek avenues in theatre, folk dance, group singing, elocution contests in college, eventually leading him to cinema. Farah Khans passion for dance as a child and how she stopped dancing for almost fourteen years because her father did not like it and began doing so only after he passed away. How cinema became Subhash Ghais great escape, whenever his parents argued, he would run away to watch a film. How Vishal Bhardwaj composed his history lessons as songs so he could memorize them, and how he accompanied his friend on the harmonium at food festivals in Pragati Maidan to earn a livelihood. An invaluable record of Hindi cinemas old and new voices, and a study of the changing face of it, Directors Diaries is also an inspiring account of people battling great odds to achieve their dreams.
