Demika "Mika" Darlene Moore

B. September 27th 1985, formerly of Laurinburg, North Carolina and longtime resident of Jamaica, New York

Mika was a mother to her beloved daughter Zoe. She loved to sing — she took part in a choir, performed in a musical group called Paradise and appeared at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. In 2003, Moore graduated from Martin Van Buren High School with a passion for fashion and design. Before 2004, she worked at a telemarketing firm.

Mika was murdered in July 2010. Her body was found on July 23rd 2010 in a parking lot in St. Albans, Queens, New York. Mika was reported missing for several months before her body was discovered, she wasn't identified until October 2010. As of August 2022, her murder is unsolved and there has been no developments or new information regarding her murder and disappearance.
