Caduceus Clay is fully aware that he is a character in a game of dnd and that dnd is based on generally predetermined storylines made up by the DM aka “destiny” or “fate”, but I think if Ashton Greymoore realized they were a character in a dnd game they’d try to punch both Matt Mercer and Taliesin Jaffe in the face

I actually am in love w what the evil dead does like it sets up this typical virgin girl among her friends in a very much horror scenario where only she is aware so you'd expect her to be the final girl, obviously, it's the 80s after all. But no, WRONG, she dies first and her transgender bimbo brother is the actual protagonist ! Laugh crying emoji.

okay ive now read like 3-4 romantasy/fantasy books where its enemies to lovers and like immediately after the main characters decide they love each other and have sex, the MMC betrays her????? like “get naked, i love you” and then boom the third act twist is IMMEDIATE BETRAYAL. usual like public, messy betrayal also. which means the sequel then starts the whole enemies to lovers dynamic over again as the FMC is like rightfully pissed and then the author has to be like “no he had a good reason i promise” just for him to barely redeem himself to the FMC so she can forgive him and they can get back to fucking in between battles. like. once was shocking. twice was like okay sure. THREE TIMES?? FOUR TIMES?? no more. if another enemies to lovers MMC betrays the FMC, i want her to just kill him. if you want to use the enemies to lovers trope to sell your series, simply make it a slow burn, my guy. also i dont buy that she would forgive this like “ultimate betrayal” based on the fact that he has dark hair and shes horny for him. like if hes gonna betray her, stick to your guns and make him evil but nooooo hes always somehow right so she doesnt even get to be mad. its starting to feel like a cop out

i was thinking of the scene from Advice to Goh! (yes ik great title anipoke) where Goh talks about going to pokemon camp when he was 6, aaaand...we hear Goh say that
'Some kid held us up' from starting' (or along the lines of, haha)
And ofc Ash is just like throwing in something for a laugh like 'Yeah i bet he overslept or something you know' then realisation hits for him when we realise
The kid who overslept (or held them up)
was ash LMAO 😗
anyway i thought a bit about this and how it links to 'their fateful encounter' as Goh described it as when they met lmao (OK WHETHER HE MEANT THAT TO LUGIA OR NOT US SATOGOU FANS CAN DO BOTH OKAY and we know at least half of the fateful encounter he was on ab was pointing to ash like. c'mon.)
Because as far as I know, I don't really think Ash had encountered one of his companions before he went on a journey with them, correct me if im wrong, AND YES yall ik serena met ash as a child! They even met at pokemon camp too didnt they i honestly forgot ab that 💀but ANYWAY what i thought was making it different was that when it was time for her journey she went out of her way to find him after seeing him on the news.
But I'd like to say that for Goh and Ash it was more on the fate side for when they met on Lugia. See, neither of them knew they were both going to jump onto lugia, it was a complete coincidence 🥺
and they were meant to have met at pokemon camp when they were younger. if ash had woken up on time lmao they may have met at pokemon camp. which, is honestly a bit of a weird thought tbh 😂 sooooooooo maybe their encounter on lugia was really fate? idk im probs making stuff up again i just thought it was interesting <3
