During funerals on Venus, the brain of the deceased is cut up and eaten by those attending. This was a way the deceased could live on as they would gain the deceased's memories this way. Rassilon feared for the survival of the Time Lords so deeply that he sent biogenic molecules back in time that would force all life forms in the universe that were affected to evolve into something similar to what was the Gallifreyan standard. This is why so many species look similar. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy eventually convinced the Fatkats to help them free Rory, and as a thank-you gift, he left them a life-sized stuffed Doctor doll for them to play with. The Tenth Doctor once wrote a letter to the Brigadier, saying he felt guilty for not visiting and that he was thinking of him. When the Brigadier died, this letter was found lying on his bedside cabinet as though he had just been reading it. When Time Lords die, their TARDISes do as well. (Audio: The Axis of Insanity)

The Axis is a place in interdimensional space that holds together and regulates all damaged timelines to prevent the contamination from spreading. Time Lords typically aren't welcome since they are responsible for most aberrant timelines, but one was sent to investigate when Jarra To took over. This Time Lord was later found by the Doctor, oozing pus and covered in roaches after being murdered by Jarra To. (Audio: The Axis of Insanity)

One time after stumbling on alien invaders, the Eighth Doctor and Charley used their acting skills to save the day. Charley became Lady Charleyostiantayshius, a Gallifreyan observer, and the Doctor became a transcriber from the High Council, who is pretty much Lady Charleyostiantayshius's excitable if a bit bumbling companion. They both wear the proper Gallifreyan regalia, and Charley was so good at her act that the Doctor thought she made a better Gallifreyan than he did. The Doctor convinces the captain of the alien fleet that there is a plague and gives him large quantities of the "vaccine," which is actually just straight up alcohol, so the captain gets wasted. The Doctor's memory of his first two incarnations is hazy, to say the least. (Audio: Cold Fusion)

Patience regenerated into a female form only after meeting the Fifth Doctor. The description of their prior incarnation is ambiguous in that regard. (Audio: Cold Fusion, Novel: Cold Fusion)

Peri was infected with a virus that copied all of her DNA and turned anyone she touched into a clone of herself. This included the Fifth Doctor, who started at first by repeating what Peri said and then became her. Was looking through an old htf fan blog on here from like 2013 and found out that there is what's essentially official Disco Bear porn [his junk is censored thankfully] made by the guys over at FatKat

nothing! the tv series is a totally solid season, and probably the BEST from a writing standpoint, since each episode basically had double the length and they were allowed to fit more in (including a lot of tiny gags that dont progress the plot but are just there and funny, like nuttys candy whistle in 'in a jam' or the twins stealing disco bears meat punching bag in 'ipso fatso'). two of my favourite episodes of the entire series, dont yank my chain and wishy washy, are from the tv series!

however i think from purely an ANIMATION standpoint, it doesnt have the spark the other seasons have. the tv series was animated by the (now defunct) animation studio fatkat, instead of in house at mondo. now im not saying fatkat employed BAD animators (it at onne point was the largest animation studio in atlantic canada, and other than htf they worked on jimmy two shoes, curious george 2006, and family guy) so of course theyre not god awful! i just think, since its the only one that wasnt animated in house, it feels a little. cheap? at times. i THINK (not positive!) the tv series is where they switched to puppet animation as opposed to hand drawn? which would make sense, im not saying puppet animation is inherently clunky and cheap but it makes sense for the transition to not be the smoothest. but to give examples of what i mean for the tv series not having the best animation:

look at the way they pant here. not even trying to hide the clear tweening. or how in several of the logs you can see the shape of the water objects overlapping

look at the intestines clearly switching between two symbols mid scene. if you look extra close you can even notice their foot reaches PAST the intestines.

and for a more 1-1 comparison, heres the first episode of the series, spin fun knowin ya, compared to when it was reanimated in the tv series episode blast from the past

yeah, the tv series is more technically well done. there are less tiny mistakes like toothys ears being backwards, more detail is put into the gore, and the backgrounds are nicer. but it feels so plastic to me. it feels almost phoned in. look how little they squash and stretch compared to the original, how little cuddles flails his legs about, how easily toothy slides down the trunk as if there was no resistance. spin fun might not have been the highest quality compared to season 5, but it still had heart in it! you can tell they were laughing their asses off when they wrote the random plane being at the public park only to tear cuddles to pieces, which btw isnt even a thing anymore since blast from the past gave a Reason for the plane being there.

tldr: happy tree friends had a very rough transition to puppet animation (but they got better! s3 alone (the next season after the tv series) is leagues ahead, and s5 is Incredible)
