i’ll be honest i think we put way too much emphasis on ragging on people for who they’re not attracted to or don’t wanna have sex with than just making sure people are treating people they’re not attracted too with the same level of decency and respect that they give to people they are into. like i think it’s very important to deconstruct why you might not be attracted to fat people, or masculine lesbians, or trans people, or people of races that are not your own, but at the end of the day our brains are weird as hell and we ultimately have very little control over who we end up attracted to. but what you do have control over is how you interact with and treat people that you’re not interested in. this is not even to mention that being attracted to a certain feature doesn’t even necessarily mean that you’re treating those people with respect!!!!

i can only speak to my own identities, but at the end of the day i don’t care if you’re not attracted to me because i’m fat or because i’m trans or because i’m masculine. what i do absolutely care about is that you recognize that just because i’m not your cup of tea, doesn’t mean those qualities are inherently unattractive and doesn’t make me any less deserving of respect and kindness

I’ve been looking more and more into investing in a custom corset to see if it’ll help with my back pain. I had a custom leather one made years ago when I was going through my steampunk burlesque phase, as well as my wedding corset and a few other off the rack ones, but that was over a decade ago and my size has changed a lot since then. So I’m no stranger to the world of corsets. I’m just new to getting one made here in the US.

And twice now I’ve run into the same problem where I explain what I want (bust support with minimal compression of my lower abdomen due to medical issues) and I get told the same thing. “Oh, but that shape won’t slim your waist” and like… bestie, I don’t want to slim my waist down. I want support for my 34EE/F tits before my back breaks and a bra strap subluxates both my shoulders again.

I’m this close to taking a risk on a $300 purchase on an off-the-rack (heh) option if it’ll let me avoid human interaction 😖

Okay making this a separate post, but I think it would’ve been 10000 times better if, instead of all that canon nonsense, Teruhashi and her brother were normal (normal!!) siblings who were also somewhat competitive in that way siblings just are

So Teruhashi just focuses on being popular by being a normal highschooler (and she’d also have some kind of argument like “it’s so much more difficult for famous people to interact with fans, I can’t deprive the world of me!”), whereas Makoto tries to become as popular as possible through being famous, and they’ll compare stats and it’s all playfully competitive

Up until Teruhashi finds out Saiki’s a fan of her brother’s, and, through a ton of miscommunication, thinks he’s a huge fan (probably because his parents are huge fans and it keeps putting him in situations that make it seem like he cares way more than he actually does) and she becomes super competitive about trying to prove she’s better than her brother, and her brother just teases her (in a normal sibling way) about how “I told you being an actor was better :p”
