Yuuta is powerful yet smol and I want to protecc-- Ummm ok so guess who accidentally didn't subscribe to the fic and now has two new chapters to consume??? We feasting tonight bois

Lost in What You Think of Me by SeerOfTime Summary: Arthur is invited to play piano at a lavish party. Naturally, he brings John along. Comment: Aaah this one is wonderful. It has a first kiss tag- need I say more?? Absolutely adorable.

Batman (DC) - 🦇we live in a socie—🃏

Of Sense and Sensibility by Alatariel_Galadriel Summary: Tim gets hurt while stalking Batman and Robin. It changes some things. Comment: A-mazing. I love this so much. Poor Tim is going through it. Jason is best boi.

i'm now becoming my own self-fulfilled prophecy by TheCopperPan Summary: Damian knew consequences would come back to bite him in the ass someday. Comment: fear toxin fic, amazing writing, obsessed. Mind the tags with this one, fr. Damian's fear toxin experience is...it's a lot.

it was not your fault, but mine by TheCopperPan Summary: Dick gets caught and tortured. Tim finds him. Dick thinks he doesn't care enough to help him. Tim, frankly, doesn't care what Dick thinks. Comment: !!! yoooooo one of the best Dick & Tim reconciliation fics I've read in a while. Author has "enemy to caretaker vibes" as a tag and honestly, I love it. Also love how their relationship is portrayed so much. They're both so...human in this. Ngl made me ;_;

Mercy Down by SilverSkiesAtMidnight Summary: They find Jason's trackers on the rooftop of the apartment building - every single one, carefully and efficiently cut from his clothes, except for the ones in his shoes. They do not find Jason. Comment: A Reverse Robins AU bc sis is weak for big bro Damian. Brace yourselves for this one as well, mind the tags etc. Poor Tim. Very painful soup.

You must be this conscious to ride by motleyfam Summary: In which the boys ride a few rollercoasters, play a riveting game of I Spy, cut a toddler in line for a corn dog, get a crash course in heat-related illnesses, and make memories to last a lifetime, not necessarily in that order. Comment: Aaah this fic!! Tbh when I saw the update notification I legit rejoiced. A wonderful addition to the series, an absolute bop, one might even say. For once, Tim isn't the one suffering 😈

Hello Nonny! First of all, let me say that you have great taste in Saeyoung fics! Apartment days are some of my fav times to read/write about.

A few of the first fics that come to mind that are set during the Apartment Days (mixed in angst range) are:

“Every time something goes well...I momentarily forget how much I despise you.” by @/rfaromance (some good old fashioned angst and a really wonderful insight into Saeyoung's internal struggle) The Stars are Shining Above (first kisses!) and The First Time I Kissed You (another one!) by @/gureishi Wait by @/tiresomeimagination (focus on MC and the pressure of everything that goes down in the apartment) CCTV by @/juminies (Ok, this is a little before the apartment, but talks about his internal conflict in a way that's reminiscent of his apartment days) A Good Reason by @/space-kitten-606 (TW for suicide mention, angsty confrontation with 707 after That Argument)

Is it just me or does it seem like there’s hardly any gay/lesbian human x alien or human x monster scifi romance books?

I’ve been desperately searching for books like this because I love scifi romance, I love my fellow gays, and I love aliens/monsters! All I can find are hetero romances with the tropes I want (which is great bc I read those too) but arghhhhhhhh. I wanna see bi girls fall in love with buff space elf queens! I wanna see gay space soldiers get stranded on planets and fall in love at first sight with the secret military experiment sexy alien hunter dude. There’s not enough gay scifi romance in general for my trope loving heart and I’m complaining about it!

Bear Necessities by rosysoleil Summary: Atreus becomes trapped in his bear form and Sindri reluctantly agrees to help turn him human again. Comment: Set after God of War: Ragnarök which, if you’ve played the game, should tell you all you need to know lol. Am absolutely obsessed with this one, y’all. Characterization on point, intriguing plot, incredible writing. The one God of War fic that refuses to let me go. (WIP)

It would be a long drive home by Croik Summary: Arthur Never Makes the Deal with Kayne AU Comment: *Incoherent noises.* Holy moly, this one is good. Amazing writing, captivating plot, just an overall joy to read. The ending made me crave more.

Lacuna by Calamitatum Summary: After Addison, John gets a body and Crazy Shit Happens (not necessarily in that order) Comment: *increased incoherent noises.* BITCH. This fic broke me. And it ain’t even finished yet. Such excellent content, an absolute must-read. (WIP)

Tuck me in by Croik Summary: After getting his own body, John finds it difficult to adjust to one of the most basic and most anticipated new options for him: sleep. Comment: Cuddles. Solve. EVERYTHING. Am so in love with this fic. I hold it up gently for everyone to see.

formaldehyde (or, The Case of the Missing Lilly) by SupposedToBeWriting Summary: Prohibition with a hint of demons and detective-ing Comment: If you could see my reactions as I was reading this fic you’d understand the hype. Absolutely fantastic piece of art. Just. Aaaaah I love it. Quite long but I barely noticed. Hooks you in and refuses to let go.

Which seems to be the ones I end up enjoying the most. Beautifully written. ScaredShitless!Bruce is always a win. Gets you right in the feels.

Don’t hold your breath, I don’t think we have much time left by Chemical_Processes Summary: On a quest to rid Harvey of Two-Face, Duke gets critically injured, forcing Bruce and Harvey to work together to keep him alive. Comment: This ficccccc omg. Absolutely obsessed. Love me some Duke content, and the Bruce & Harvey dynamic is to live for. Protective!Bruce is best Bruce. You might be cautious after what I just said about this author’s other work, but don’t worry! This one sparks joy.

And we’ll be carry each other by FishFromMars Summary: Timmy goes to a safehouse after a mission ends with the death of two of his best friends. Comment: what can I say? Reverse Robins AU is an immediate win in my book. Also Damian being a Good Brother makes me feel stuff, man. Something something poetic cinema something. Really well written as well. Very sad, I love it.

It’s one of those fics that’ll stay with you long after you’ve read it. The longest fic on my list, but oh my god it’s so worth reading. And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually read longer fics. Seriously, this shit SLAPS
