Summary: The Blue Lions react to you catching a bouquet at a friend’s wedding

༓Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd He watched you catch it without blinking or flinching, mainly just confused as the realization slowly took over your face as you finally met Dimitri’s gaze. There was something about how the flowers looked in your hands and the look that you gave him that made Dimitri feel so flustered. So pretty, is his single thought as Dimitri’s made his way to you, feet on autopilot.

༓Dedue Molinaro Dedue’s eyes were completely on you, holding the colorful flowers that all mean a term of love in language as everyone else is looking between you and him. He doesn’t flare up in a blush or appear startled but you can see Dedue is feeling embarrassedly flustered by the awkward stiffness of his movement as the tall man makes his way to you.

༓Felix Hugo Fraldarius Felix does not want to be here with unimportant people, if anything he wants to be comfortably at home with you. But he will admit that the other wedding is pretty. Felix wonders if you’ve ever thought about marriage, but any further thought of the subject changes when you catch the flowers that nearly smacked you in the face. The image of what you would look like holding yours flashed quickly in his thoughts as for once Felix quietly watched you.

༓Ashe Ubert A blush marked his freckled face with a happy smile but a shy expression at the teasing that Ashe knows his friends and siblings will give him as you walked over to him. Subconsciously Ashe reached out his hand for you to take, gently pulling you closer to his side as Ashe studied the flowers. The bouquet was pretty but it wasn’t your favorite, he thought to himself. The following thought is how beautiful you would look, holding your favorite flowers while neither Ashe nor you let go of each other’s hands because it felt like two missing puzzle pieces found a place to fit perfectly together.

༓Sylvain Jose Gautier Immediately starts to sweat nervously as the flowers are perfectly in your hand while his hand subconsciously touches his pocket where the ring is that he’s planning to ask your hand for later. He had been carrying it, not having a day or place in mind until right now. This is a sign, he thinks as you lock eyes with him and smile which he returns.

༓Mercedes von Martritz She was standing right beside you when you had caught the flowers, she leaned over to sniffle the flowers with a smile growing on her face as she looked up at you, pulling away from you but not before kissing your cheek. She giggled quietly at your reaction to the flowers and the kisses. She is going to tease you but this will bring up the thought of marriage and the future with her.

༓Annette Fantine Dominic Instantly a crimson blush blooms on her face as endless giggles of excited bundles of nerves, reaching how to touch one of the flowers’ petals. Annette went quiet, wondering what flowers she would pick for her wedding, she subconsciously looked at you. She isn’t going to say anything immediately today or tomorrow but there will be hints of marriage, hoping that you’ll catch on and talk about it with her.

༓Ingrid Brandl Galatea She never really thought deeply about marriage, it was just something that her father wanted for her. But when Ingrid saw your reaction to catching the bouquet to look for her and finally smiling when you found Ingrid, she wondered for a fleeting thought if you would smile like that at the altar. She can’t explain why it made her face blush although Ingrid didn’t hate that idea at all because without question she knows that Ingrid would say yes if you asked her.

ok so i have a theory that healers draw their healing from a source right? like there’s something that fuels their ability so lin draws his healing from knowledge, mercedes draws hers from faith, flayn draws hers from friendship i think marianne draws hers from nature the more connected you are to your “source”, the more powerful you will be so as linhardt learns more and more, he grows stronger. but he also loses sleep and strength with that. as mercedes becomes more faithful, she grows stronger. but she thinks for herself and her friends less and less. as flayn gets closer to her friends and grows stronger, the more it destroys her when those friends eventually die well, marianne draws on nature. and as she gets more and more powerful, flowers begin to sprout when she uses her magic. because of this, whenever she fails to save someone, they’re surrounded by flowers

Yuri, at first, might be hesitant to get too close to you. His world is dangerous one, and naïve people don't last long.

over time, He would gradually begin to let you into his life more and more, but is still quite hesitant to make the first move

Still, he is quite protective of you, and all the rest of the wolves see pretty quick that he's got a thing for you. Of course, He wouldn't admit this at first

eventually, he finds himself smiling when you trip over your feet for him to catch you, or stopping a falling book before its even heading for your head, and it makes his heart feel just a tad warmer

oh hell, at least he can have a bit of happiness in his life.

oh, Academy aged Sylvain has a goddamn FIELD DAY

He finds you just like. overwhelmingly cute. immediately makes a move.

but uh oh. uh oh. he's actually caught feelings. and he realizes this while getting scolded by Ingrid, and he realizes he hasn't messed with any other girls recently. That's weird..

He doesn't really know what to do, so he kinda just. doubles down.

helping you carry heavy things, casually swooping in when you trip around him, and catching you when you fall from ladders in the library, every time springing a line or two on you.

he always gets flustered when he grabs your hand to help you up, and realizes how much smaller it is than his.

He is. very protective of you in battle. its a bit much actually.

The thing is. The THING is that sylvain has so many facets like a beautiful traumatized tourmaline, where his terrible coping mechanisms are like the rich gradients of colors and his deeply damaged and endearing personality are the parts that glitter in the sunlight. There's so many things you can do with him. He goes with everything. Day to evening. Slices dices and a third thing. So it really depends on what i'm in the mood for when approaching this rubiks cube man. Most likely i'd be looking for dorovain and my initial want is dorothea is the alpha and sylvain is the omega, but if i see a fic that's the other way around i'm still 1000% interested in reading it.

I mean of course there's the part of me that's just chibi picture of sylvain on a bread box get in since you wanna be bred so bad but then i think about how much he hates the pressure to produce heirs and how having a heat would be really hard for him and it makes me want to put him in my microwave. still, dimitri had always noticed some similarities between edelgard, lysithea and yourself and the way the three of you seemed to be oddly close…

when you finally opened up to dimitri about those who slither in the dark and their experiments on you, it was worse than anything he could've imagined

dimitri began to understand that you weren't their only victim and that they are responsible for most of the conflict in fodlan

dimitri wants to take them down. he needs to take them down! for your sake and for fodlan! 

and he's willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal! even ally with claude and edelgard, if those are willing to help him…

dimitri makes it his goal to kill every last one of those who slither in the dark, with his focus being solely on them

it takes him a while to realize that instead of annihilating them, he'd help you more if he'd just be there for you, supporting and comforting you

dimitri struggles a bit with helping you emotionally, well aware that he's more skilled with his lance than his words

still, he's doing all of this for you. and if you need him to be by your side and comfort you after a nightmare or a panic attack, then he'll be there!

this is probably self-indulgent but i have this headcanon that among the countless rumors circulating Tiana in Almyra is one regarding a certain hexing-look in her eyes, Khalid ofcourse inherited the rumors along with them.

-quick side note, (عيون أمه \ عيون ماما) "His/your mother's eyes" or "Mama's eyes" is an arabic phrase mothers use to lovingly refer to or answer their children's calls. meaning that they're as precious as her own eyes.

btw i never told u how important is to me that dimitri lost his sense of taste. bc when i had an eating disorder i did lose my sense of taste too. (its awful. imagine everytime you eat something all you can taste is dry sand. how am i supposed to improve my relationship with food if every part of my being refuse to enjoy it?) but thanks to my partner, who since the beginning of our relationship always cooked for me with care, making me try all different spices and recipes, (and with a lot of therapy as well,) i slowly got back my sense of taste, and so i defeated my ed. and i enjoy food now! a lot! so i like to think that post-game, byleth's love and care help dimitri get back his sense of taste, and hes finally able to taste his beloved cheese back. i plan to write a small fluff oneshot about this in the future. i love dima i want him to be happy :3

Ahh, see my dear Friend Anon, this is a nuanced spectrum- but I'll do my best to break it down as I see it:

Scared and Horny:

Claude - has enough common sense to be scared, but definitely hot-blooded enough to be horny about it. A beautiful balance, frankly, though he may tease you about how wild you were.

Raphael - soooo close to qualifying for the "just horny" category, but he is a sweet boy and still wants to check to be sure you're alright (mentally, emotionally, physically) after the battle.

Ignatz - soooo close to qualifying for the "just scared" category lmao. However, as you all know, I see our boy Ignatz as very repressed and very kinky, and seeing you be so powerful and passionate definitely stirs some part of him.

Ferdinand - practically the poster-boy for "scared and horny" tbh; he feels sheepish about it, but he just can't help how your strength and force of will arouse him.

Seteth - also strangely close to the "just horny" category, not that he wants to admit it; seeing you like this really awakens something primal in him from far in his past. Still, his concern for you is ever-present and ultimately pushes aside how entrancing you look conquering your foes so thoroughly.

Sylvain - I almost don't know how to elaborate on this one because, I mean, of course, right? Of course Sylvain is worried, but also just burning inside watching you flushed in the face, damp with sweat, muscles tight, hair wild.......

Just Scared:

Lorenz - oscillating wildly between worried for you and worried for every person around you. Definitely impressed, don't get me wrong- he appreciates battle prowess. But if you're really going berserk, he's worried.

Dedue - while he's likely right there beside you in the fight, he worries about seeing you get particularly aggressive. He's seen what bloodlust has done to the other most valued person in his life, and never wants to see you go too far down that path.

Ashe - it's not as though he can't stomach violence, he just feels that there's a certain responsibility and necessity for rules of engagement when it comes to combat, hence his proclivity for chivalry. Seeing you completely lose yourself worries him, and he'll want to be with you and hold you and make sure you're okay as soon as he can.

Just Horny:

Hubert - I feel like this is more or less self explanatory lmao. Though he does still hope you'll be rational and not do anything unnecessarily risky while eviscerating your foes.

Caspar - again, an obvious choice. Honestly, I think Caspar wants to fuck after just about every battle you two come back from, provided neither of you is hurt too badly.

Jeritza - this is the most obvious one so far lol. Though, when he's more 'himself,' he does silently worry about you sharing in his bloodshed and provoking the Death Knight part of him.

Felix - honestly, it's probably even fiercer than Hubert or Caspar; the lust he feels for you in the heat of battle is both primal and nearly spiritual. This is about his whole life philosophy, after all. After a particularly tough and gruesome fight, he wants nothing more than to absolutely ravage you (and might need to be talked down if he has wounds to attend to first)

Outliers:

Linhardt - ideally, he is not present, as the sight of you "going off" on an enemy is likely to involve waaaaay more blood than he's comfy with. He'll definitely tend to you afterward, and wryly scold you for going overboard (secretly, he was super worried when he heard from your comrades of how ferocious you were out there)

Dimitri - he's in different categories depending on where he's at in his arc tbh. Feral Dimitri is obviously just horny about you diving into the bloodshed with him, while "redeemed" Dimitri has some measure of restraint about it

Yuri - it's more like "amused/impressed and horny," tbh. Though he never looses his head about it- he's still keeping a close eye on you to make sure nothing goes awry. But he won't deny that he enjoys watching, nonetheless.
