You decided to go with Dark Choco to check on Red Velvet Cookie. You thought, thanks to the cakehounds, it'd be a fun time!

It wasn't really. They were a lot louder and a lot more...shrill when it came to their barks. You were sensitive to loud, shrill noises, so it was honestly dreadful for you.

You quickly rushed over to Dark Choco, tugging on his cape before hiding in it. Dark Choco looked down, confused. "Is everything alright?"

You shook your head. "Overstimulation?" You nodded. He silently nodded. "Red Velvet, I've checked in, I will be leaving now."

Red Velvet nodded, allowing you and Dark Choco to leave. When you and Choco got out of there and back into his room, he held you close, trying to help with the overstimulation.

You two sit together in silence for as long as you need, Dark Choco helping to comfort you. You two proceeded to snuggle the rest of the night.

earlier that day, he and sunoo had checked out the new ice cream shop that had opened up near their campus. it was said to have the best mint choco ice cream, and who was sunoo to miss out on that? conveniently, riki was free at the moment, which had given sunoo the idea to drag him there as well.

uninterested in the ice cream, riki took the opportunity to scroll through his phone as his friend ordered. that was, until, he heard a light yet echoey laugh. it was loud enough to catch his attention, but not loud enough to disturb others. he looked up, and saw a girl that had brown crescent shaped eyes, soft dimples, and an undeniable aura. he could only describe it as "the embodiment of charm".

at that moment, it was as if he was bewitched.

he stood there for a bit, just mesmerized by you. he didn't know what to do, or why he was just staring at you. riki looked like an absolute fool as a matter of fact. but when he was finally snapped back into reality, you had already left with your friends. riki could only hope to see you again, and next time, he'll at least get your name.

He did not deserve the kindness before his friends, after all..but the day he said that, he was out so fast! Maybe for once luck was on his side? As always, another day spent cold in the pit of this gacha machinery, but then he felt pulled, and he surfaced to see: you have obtained choco cookie! Behind the flashy colours was someone so cute, and so happy to see him, practically squealing you said “i got him!-”..was he worth that much joy? He was not used to that but maybe it won’t be unbearable. ♡ He was pampered from day one, having his own home, his decor, his favourites being written into the kingdom. He was not used to the attention but..he could manage, a deep buried part of him was in hope that he could feel whole again, but he buried the thought as always. Though soon..he would not settle for that again. You giggle like a madwoman as you read Jungwon's latest text message, enthusiastically throwing the covers off and hopping out of bed. Were you in your right mind? Probably not but hey, at least you have something to do now instead of rolling around in bed in attempt to eventually fall asleep. It wasn't worth it. Especially if you were going to end up awake again in less than an hour. That's just how it is for you. Some days you sleep like a baby, speeding through 10 hours of sleep as if it were nothing. But for the most part, you barely even got 6 hours of shut-eye.

And today was one of those days.

You suck in a sharp breath as you slowly open the bedroom door, peeking your head out to make sure your parents or sister aren’t up. Your body relaxes when you can't detect any light from under their doors. Let's pray Heejin is sleeping and not texting her not-so-secret boyfriend right now or else I'm screwed.

The fuzzy bear print socks you decided to put on earlier are a blessing in disguise as you tiptoe your way downstairs and slip on your Vans. Patting your sweatpants pockets to make sure you have your keys and Airpods, you close the door behind you and skip over next door where your neighbor is already waiting. Jungwon's hands are stuffed in his hoodie pocket as he huffs out a few breaths, gazing up at the star-dusted night. He’s wearing a dark blue hoodie and grey sweatpants. The backpack on his shoulders makes your raise a brow in curiosity but you ignore mentioning it.

"Well if it isn't Decelis' student council president." You chirp out from afar, which makes the boy snap his gaze to you. A very faint smile tugs at his lips as you approach him giddily.

"Jeon Y/n. The one and only." His dimples make and appearance, which almost takes you by surprise. After all, who willingly smile after being forced to go on an impromptu walk in the middle of the night? Not you at least. You know you wouldn't but hey, at least you have company. "Where to?"

"Snacks. I’m hungry!” Your smile grows wider as your quickly hook your arm with Jungwon’s and drag him along with you. The boy almost trips from the sudden force, shaking his head at your weird antics. He wondered if people were even out at this hour. And if there were, how many would think the pair were running away from home?

It isn’t hard to be assumed as such, seeing as the girl before he had a big appetite and would most probably raid the nearest convenience store, coming out with her arms full of snacks. Jungwon lets out an airy chuckle. Oh gosh, what have I gotten myself into? We’re not even that close I’m surprised she’s so comfortable around me.

Truth is, you and Jungwon weren’t close at all. Not even friends. Simply acquaintances who seldom shared short conversations because they had mutual friends. You didn’t care though, it was only a matter of time before you’d end up completely chill around Jungwon. That’s just how you are. No matter who you’re with, you treat them like a close friend.

“Oh good, there’s no one!” You exclaim when the both of you are near the convenience store. You don’t realize that you’re still holding onto Jungwon until he speaks up behind you.

“Jeez, Jeon. Couldn’t you have walked instead of making me run after you?”

“Oh c’mon, prez, you could’ve let go.”

“I would’ve if you weren’t holding my arm so tight!”

Jungwon glares and you can only stick your tongue out at him before running into the store and grabbing all your favorite snacks. You don’t have to turn around to know that he’s right behind you. A mischievous grin takes over your lips and you grab a drink, spinning around and shoving it into the poor boy’s face.

It takes Jungwon a second to realize what you’re holding but when he does, disgust paints his features and you can only laugh at him.

“Mint choco iced coffee? that’s a serious threat to society. I mean who would voluntarily drink that?” Jungwon mutters, which makes you giggle as you put it back to its original place.

“Oh c’mon Yang, mint choco isn’t that bad,” You hand him the basket full of food and pick out something for him. You can only recall him walking around school with chocolate milk so that’s what you pick along with his favorite ice cream.

You quickly finish up and pay for your things. Jungwon doesn’t say a word until you both get out of the store. “Here let me hold it.” He takes the plastic bag from your hands. After all, it’s the least he could do.

After a while, the two of you end up at a park. You sit down under a tree and watch curiously as Jungwon pulls out a blanket and lays it down. He gestures you to sit on it, which makes you let out a teasing oohh.

“The model student is prepared for anything, I see.” He rolls his eyes at your remark and you bark out a laugh at his reaction. Nonetheless, you scoot over next to him and take out the things you bought.

“Ice cream? It’s pretty cold though and you’re not wearing a jacket. You sure you’re gonna be okay, Jeon?”

“It’s for you, prez.” You roll your eyes at him and hand the boy his drink and ice cream.

“Huh, didn’t know you knew what my favorite flavor was.”

“Won, you go around buying literal tubs of this stuff, even a stranger would know.”

“Touché, Jeon.”

After a while, you lay down and prop your head on one of Jungwon’s crossed legs. He doesn’t seem uncomfortable by you doing so, so you take it as a sign that he’s okay with it. The way he relaxes by rolling his shoulders back and leaning on the tree only confirms your thought.

“So, prez, why couldn’t you sleep?” The question makes the boy look down at you. He contemplates before answering.

“Just stressed out with the student council stuff, I have to take charge of everything since as you very much know, I’m the president.”

The snarky remark at the end makes you roll your eyes at him as he chuckles.

“Then just- stop. Take a break. You deserve it, Yang. Hell, just skip school for a day. It won’t hurt, besides it’s Thursday— wait no Friday.”

The boy wasn’t expecting your answer and you can tell by the way he tenses up. Jungwon was always hardworking, that was no doubt. But people never seemed to realize how much he worked hard. Sometimes he overworks himself so much his body can’t take it. And it seems like you were the first person to notice and that makes him smile.

“Since when does Jeon Y/n give such good advice? And no, Jeon I’m not skipping school.”

“Well you know, I’m just that amazing. Be grateful I’m doing this for free, Yang. Not everyone gets advice from the legendary Y/n.”

“Right,” He chuckles, shaking his head lightly. “Of course, Jeon.”

You don’t know how much time you two spend relaxing in comforting silence. Heck, you’re sure everything around you is frozen. At least until Jungwon pulls a blanket from his bag and drapes it over your body. You mumble out a quick “thanks” but the tiredness is catching up to you, surprisingly. You don’t even realize you’ve fallen asleep in a matter of seconds. Everything around you goes black, but you can still feel the comforting warmth radiating from Jungwon’s body.

That’s when the boy takes out his journal and starts jotting down some stuff in it. He writes a few sentences before stopping to look at you, an unconscious smile growing at his lips. His pen starts to move again and he decides that maybe he’ll call in sick as long as you’re willing to skip school with him. But he’ll have to ask you that in the morning.

“3:01 AM. She looks just like a dream. The prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.”

Iron for the blood loss bc he really doesn't want you anemic from a normal bodily function, water because losing blood leads to dehydration, and studies have shown that Vitamin E can help to shorten the duration of the bleeding!
