Hey friend! Could I please get a dice palette for my new Pathfinder character, Mosh? They are a sprite gunslinger, who is also Punk. I envision them with lots of black and bright/neon accents to accent it. They have a big mouth and a big heart all in a tiny package. They fight with a combo of goblin-made gun and baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire, just for the punk aesthetic, lol. (Yes, Mosh comes from mosh pit, lol)

Is there a pc character/deity in a fandom you're not part of, that you've only seen in fanart or whatever, that you're like "I would so worship you!"

I've been seeing fanart of this dragon character from Fields of Mistria or whatever it's called and yeah. Dragons are my weakness.

I do celebrate the holidays from Elder Scrolls! Mostly the summoning days, but also all the others, but not super consistently lol.

You get to be my first attempt at using the Deck of Many Things alongside a tarot deck, which will be the Silver Witchcraft Tarot by Barbara Moore. (I...have a lot of decks by her despite the fact that I want to fight her behind a Taco Bell...) The Silver Witchcraft Tarot is one of the decks belonging to Tehuti, so don't be surprised if you get his vibes from this reading. With all of that preamble out of the way, your cards are the Jester and the 10 of Wands.

Let's start with the Jester. Since I'm winging this, let's look at what this card does. It gives you 10,000 experience points or lets you draw two more cards - which could either mean actively connecting with Unicorn in order to gain experience, or gathering tools to help fortify that connection. Like the Fool, this card disappears from the deck once drawn. (Though for practical use purposes, I'll be putting mine back in my physical deck.) This is a very funny card considering everything going on in the friend group this morning.

Meanwhile, the 10 of Wands's keywords are burden, obligations, numerous opportunities, duty, and responsibility. Since this is a Wiccan-based deck, Barbara Moore has assigned the Universe to the 10 cards, indicating the greater world, endings, and completion. (Aces are the Self, while 2 through 9 are the Wiccan Wheel of the Year holidays.)

These two are quite striking next to each other! The strong reds and oranges of the Jester card with the mere splashes of blue compared to the strong blues and browns with a touch of orange for the 10 of Wands...even the white block with black text of the Jester compared to the black block with white text of the 10 of Wands... Delicious. Utterly delicious.

What I'm seeing here is a suggestion and the blockage preventing the suggestion from being immediately implemented. The Jester seems to tell you to get silly with it and interact with Unicorn more directly in order to deepen that connection (however you choose to do it), but the 10 of Wands reminds you that you are, unfortunately, an adult with responsibilities, so you can't just do the Unicorn-related stuff. You're gonna have to figure out how to balance those duties alongside your interactions with Unicorn to deepen your connection. On the other hand, it could mean that connecting further with Unicorn involves taking on duties related to it, but I wouldn't even know where to start with that one.

Here's the post where I talk about the spell jar that Ragnar and I made together to help us find our new home. One that worked within just a few months, I might add.

(Which is a good object lesson - PATIENCE. Sometimes the results of your spells take more than one lunar cycle to manifest. Sometimes the magic has to wait until conditions are optimal. That's why I usually do jar spells for long-term magic, kind of like putting up preserves that will be ready when I need them.)

Creativity is a value that is central to my practice. I need to express myself, my thoughts and my feelings, in a creative way. I need to utilize my creativity to make offerings or share my experiences. I feel more connected to my practice when I am being creative. I also just feel like, in my own experience, my deities/spirits really appreciate the things that I create myself more than the standard food offerings or libations. (There is absolutely nothing wrong with food offerings or libations though; I just don't vibe with them personally).

🌋 A magical gift (either something you're Gifted At, or a gift you've received):

Connecting with people through my writing is definitely something I think I'm gifted at. When it comes to writing devotionals for others, I can really channel someone's relationship with their deity without asking too many questions. I can express their inner feelings without explicitly being told what those are. When writing my own devotionals or when I receive messages, my writing touches people and makes them feel seen, heard, and, most importantly, not alone.

What is some UPG (or SPG) you have of the Morrigan?

Oooh good question!!

I'll list em out!:

She loves raspberries as an offering.

She prefers spicy scents or woody scents over floral/clean scents.

I refer to her as one entity but she's actually three (some Morrigan followers refer to her as strictly one entity or strictly three entities, neither is right or wrong it's just a matter of upg/opinion)

She is not a soft cozy mother being, she is jagged and hard like steel and will throw you into the deep end but that doesn't mean she'll let you drown.

She enjoys hibiscus as well.

The names of the sisters are Macha, Babd, and the third I just call Morrigan as I have never been given a name for her.

She likes moss and forest green.

She does actually have a sense of humor, and will sometimes play jokes on you.

She doesn't require you to do death magic.

She does not take well to being ignored, especially if you have asked for advice and blatantly ignored it.

She loves poetry.

Well shit, it is actually a thing.

At least they're not trying to cram it into a tarot deck like the same team did with the D&D deck. I'm a little surprised that it's so focused on Theros, but not surprised that they're jamming Jace into it anyway. He's their poster boy for planeswalkers, after all.

Unfortunately, I am a clown and will likely order this once it comes out, but I'm not gonna preorder anything right now. I'm gonna wait for some reviews and deck flipthroughs.

Hope is our first card. I think the message is quite clear: It's going to be okay. You're in a major transitionary period, of course, it's such a daunting thing to do, rebuilding from the ground up. But there is hope available to you, should you reach out and take it.

Grounding comes to us next: This card is about the whole... grounding yourself into your body thing. Just making it clear that it's that grounding. I believe what this is saying is that yes, this is a lot. It may feel very overwhelming, it may feel like you're not very present in the moment. Again, daunting! So spend some time grounding yourself back into your reality, and find the peace that that brings you.

Nasturtium is our "victory and conquest". I think this is very much a card of that you got this! You'll be just fine. You're strong, you're capable. It may be an overhaul, but you've been of your practice this long now, and your spirit guides or whomever wouldn't put this upon you if they didn't think you could take it and survive it.

The future holds all kinds of magical surprises, so it's time to look for the good and fun in all of this. Don't focus on just the bad things, y'know? And surprises aren't a bad thing, now. The new practice coming forth for you will bring you good. It's good for you, even if right now you're eating the skin of the orange trying to get at the inside (apologies if you dislike oranges, lol).

August, Second Mountain (...didn't I pull this recently on this blog? lol) calls forth carefulness and subtle elegance. It's the card asking you to take a careful, slow step. You don't have to do this all immediately. You may have to overhaul, but it doesn't mean "Do it all right the heck now!!!!", you can take your time and take it gently on yourself. There's no need to push yourself hard and fast.

This one came out more as gentle advice, but I think that that is also encouragement.

Overall, though, be gentle on yourself with all of this. You got this. you're strong, you're capable, and you can get through this and handle this without too great of problems, and even if you do face those problems, you're strong enough to overcome them.
