i had a dream not long after txt's tnc:temptation was released. i was a main role (??) of some sorts in txt's cysm and we were shooting the mv (i was watching content from tdc:eternity era before sleeping so i guess that explains it)

and i've been listening to it on repet constantly. i saw someone saying on here that the album reminds them of you because of the space concept and all and yes, i emphasise that idea 😭 like it's exactly your type of stuff. i was looking at their promotion image and the tracklist image when they came out and i thought that those must have made you very excited wuth the constellation theme and all haha

i gotta say, in regards to s-class, i had to give it a few listens before it finally caught me because it felt so... overwhelming at first?? like there was a LOT of stuff going on in there, both in the song itself and in the music video. but i started to like it eventually, it was just a whole experience and i was surprised to find smth new everytime i was rewarching the mv 🤣 also, gotta love the intense marvel vibes

and i think my fave b side is hall of fame, istg out of all of their albums, i think this songs fits the best as an opening song. don't get me wrong, i love all the other first songs in the other albums (the tortoise and the hare has me in a chokehold), but hall of fame fits its position THE BEST, it's like a grand opening.

yeah, i don't rlly follow taylor's or her associated pips' social or irl lives... but, i do pay attention and remember stuff and details when it comes to her music tho...

sooo, this is the start of the series imma make about the easter eggs or connections in her songs heheh 🤗🤗🤗

one thing that i noticed from seeing a post showing all of Taylor's albums, all 9 of em, is that after every 3 albums, the next one tends to be very specific to who she is.

so like, Taylor Swift (Debut), RED, and Lover.

personally, when i think of taylor, i do think about love, and idk i just think that when she kinda shakes up her image and music style after every 3 album eras, she tends to focus in on something that defines her. (which i just think is a pretty dope idea hahah)

and also (i know this next part might be reaching, but i stg if my suspicion winds up right...), i think she actually drops clues for them in the penultimate (second to last) song of the previous album.

the penultimate song for speak now, is last kiss.

and i mean, when we think of RED we think of the lipstick she wears right?

in the deluxe ed, i think the penultimate songs (one for the additional tracks, the other for the official tracklist) is if this was a movie and back to december

and both of those mention red things, taylor's heart for itwam and roses for btd

(and oh god yes i know reaching she probably might mention those all the time?? heart at least yeah (i'll get back to you on the roses once i review her entire discography again hahah) but istg there just might be a connection considering what the current last third album is and what the penultimate songs there are)

I have to be honest, when the first-AND I MEAN THE VERY FIRST, teaser came out, everything went bonkers.

One twitter user was fighting another group stan in a dark alleyway over some useless rank of brand reputation, another one was overanalyzing Dahyun's leggings and the other over Jeongyeon's boots' colors that's different than the others (blue, as expected), another once was aggressively making memes out of the mere 11 seconds of the Drop Spoiler.

All of the actions above are nothing new in Twiceland of course, we are all mentally eel (and we been knew), but it made our wrecked mind even wrecked because the SURPRISE?? A NEW ENGLISH SINGLE?? SOMETING THAT INTL FAN CAN FINALLY UNDERSTAND WITHOUT TURNING ON CC OR WATCHING COLOR CODED VIDEOS?

Then it all kinda went downhill from there (for me at least)

First of all, JYP /eyeroll/ released a statement that Miss Maam Beloved Yoo Jeongyeon can't participate in near future activity of the group because of her anxiety and health problems. Dude...the way that my heart sank knowing our ms maam is suffering somewhere, not feeling well...that made me want to give up badly. What's the point of supporting the group when the reason you're here is not present? But then I remembered the wise words of JY herself that she wanted the group to be forever. That made me happy once again, knowing that JY herself is trying her best and so should I.

Anyway, back to The Feels promotions ಠ_ಠ

The team released a spoiler from the ACTUAL song as a sound on tiktok. I was so excited but also scared because...sometimes you can kinda judge a song's vibe from a snippet. I just hoping the song's is up my alley.

I REALLY TRY TO LIKE IT, but I couldn't (yea call me tasteless or a [insert number here]-anti yapayapayapa--whatever ). It was simply not the kind of song I enjoy casually. But I tried not to be so judgmental over mere seconds of a song's snippet.

Maybe I'll absolutely fall head over heals over the whole song, or maybe the choreography, maybe the outfits ?

...I hate to break it to you bud...the outfits and the MV setting are the only one I like so far, gotta wait on those choreo vid to drop.

I feel like the production team, the band, the sound mixer, the guy/gal who plays keyboard/drum/guitar or whomever needs to put more work into producing the song??? because it only has like 2.5 lines of musical notes (?) that they used over and over again. It honestly feels like I'm listening to a loop of a 1 minute song. BRO LIKE??? ADD SOME SPICE FOR MY GIRLIES?? PLEASE?

In term of lyrics, I'm impressed with the girls' pronunciation and choice of wordings, like:

So in conclusion,

jyp seems to continue to give the bare minimum to the girlies, they will PAY. But for now, lemme enjoy the good things about the songs and ignore the other bad things.

The fan of this group (that I'm also a part of 😔, yes I'm ashamed) made it worse.

Our adorable maknae. No sexiness here. We don’t allow it. He’s the main vocalist. Honestly listen to him sing and it will clear your acne and heal your depression istg.

He was also on The Unit and actually got into the final group! The group was UNB so if you want more Chan, as well as other beautiful people, check them out.

He used to be a JYP trainee as well. He was in Twice’s Like Ooh Ah MV with Chan from Stray Kids. (There's a beautiful video out there of Chan and Chan interacting but I can’t find it hhh)

He has been described as the happiest member and is the only one whos revealed his ideal type. For those who are curious its someone he can feel comfortable talking to for hours.

He’s my bias and he’s adorable and squishy what else is there to say.

ok firstly the progression on the first disc from euphoria to answer love yourself is incredible you really do get a sense of the journey that this series takes you on wow

euphoria: full studio version of euphoria i am YELLING i really love this song and jk’s voice sounds so lovely and ofc i loved the version we got in the video but with the extra parts it’s just beautiful, i love the ‘euphoria’ at the end of the last chorus, the way it rises is just lovely and hmm i’m,,,, not actually sure whether i’ve actually looked at the lyrics before?? but ofc it’s a beautifully written song
