testing out drawing maormer 🪸🐚🪸 and a nelvas 🧣📜🩷 i'll ramble about maormer a bit in the tags
#tes#skyrim#my art#do you like my nelvas emojis🧣📜🧣📜 get it? scarf🤗 and scroll🤗 Everything hurts sofucking bad#anyways i talked about them wif my friend quite a bit i basically 'agree' w/ everything that is written about them && their biology in -#- canon; except tes is very much all Talk and no good actual visual presentation of what it's talking about#cus all of the maormer look like garboooo likeee what am i looking @#but since this is just a first test i think i'll keep playing around with their looks later; they are most close to altmer obvi in the -#- sense of how 'mutated' they r. however maormer are more gross looking for the typical human#they do have flat faces and alldat in canon already but i want them to just have nostrils and no real nose bridge#and they have no lips😝 they also have very visible gums. && have anglerfish teeth#what would be fur on other mer is just scales on them and is placed is scattered in the same places#i was thinking of making swimming most comfortable for them so i gave them more fins#they'd have them on arms and legs and the hair on the tail for them is just a big fin🐠#as for hair i'm thinking of them having none of it at all bcos it looks sooooo ugly on them it's very unnerving to see hair on fish#either no hair at all or something with a different texture. like slimy silky thin seaweed#or the hair that m*necraft striders have LMAO#webbed fingers is cuuuute they'd have webbed armpits like they're those flying rodents🐿 lol#i'd place their gills on both the neck and their ribs#whenever they wear clothes they tie their arm and leg fins up ; i think from birth they just stay in water until they hit puberty and -#- r able to actually walk around#another cute fact is that males and females wud look literally the same almost (women are flat chested too)#fish fish fish#maybe i'll rethink some stuff. i still wanna draw fish babies#but in reality i think even the mere existence of maormer is very pointless bc they don't really matter at all do they#tes lore is soooo overstuffed that's why i don't know anything about it my time is so valuable to meLMFAOAOOO#saw a typo in this sorry i'm just chill like that

I made my mom's garlic and dill sun pickles today for the first time! Her recipe was for very large containers, but I didn't have any so I scaled it down for use with 2 of the 750ml ball jars.
Recipe below cut!
Layer bottom of jar with whole garlic cloves
Fill jar with halved pickling cucumbers and dill (I used the pickles to shimmy the dill in)
Layer more garlic and dill on top
Set aside
For the brine:
512ml water
256ml white vinegar (5%, double check as some vinegars are being diluted now)
50g salt
1/3tsp alum
And then
Mix all until salt dissolves. Brine will be cloudy.
Pour into jars, splitting equally. With well packed jars it should be enough to fill nearly to the top.
Close the lids tightly
Place in the sun for 2-3 days to cure
Refrigerate for use!

#Riddle Rosehearts#Azul Ashengrotto#TWST Aniplex 1/8th scale figures#Disney TWST#Twisted Wonderland#the motion and detailing on Azul's sculpt is phenomenal like holy shit#also Riddle honey i love you you're my son but the entire base there is so busy there are too many parts#assembling the entire base for Riddle's figure took a second and it was a PAIN#those rose bushes do not like to slot into place unless the base is held absolutely still and firm#you also have to be careful getting his sceptre into place because the work on his fingers is very delicate. same with Azul and the contract#Cyanide speaks

#I can’t quite put my finger on why but I love it so much#theres a serenity here in its light colors. for once the use of scale doesn’t feel used to show how small and ‘insignificant’ programs are#instead it’s used to show how all of these programs have their own lives. and they filled up this vast world with their presence#LOOK AT ALL OF THOSE LITTLE DOTS. ALL PROGRAMS. I finally finished my buni doll! he's taller than my arm and pretty hefty. it was my first time embroidering, wire armateuring, using this specific pattern making process, etc.... so I think he turned out better than I ever expected lol!
he's mostly posable tho the wire I had access to isn't strong enough to combat the minky. live and learn 🤷♂️

#bioshock 2#subject delta#johnny topside#the face mask thing was meant to be like.#so he cant turn his head while the helmet is on#and i was thinking about what delta's got under his suit#and i figured that the early models (like himself) would have a layer of padding underneath#the straps on his limbs/hands/fingers are like. anchor points for his suit to latch onto#so things dont slide around in battle or while welding#and then i put him in inconspicuous civilian clothing#nobody will suspect a thing#7 ft tall man and his hoard of daughters dressed in a trench coat only speaks whale#most normal guy on the block everything's fine#the guy next to trench coat delta is there for scale. but im not sure what i was scaling tbh#the faces are the old designs#ill get around to sharing the newer ones eventually
