made another cardigan, lads 😎🤙 as usual, forgive the abysmal photos… I was in a rush lol. pattern is unfortunately discontinued, so I had to wing it based on the photos! Luckily I had already knitted the bend of the “band” that wraps around the shoulders, so it wasn’t super hard. yarn is malabrigo worsted weight in candombe (the purple) and lettuce (the green). I’ll talk about this more on my ravelry for anyone interested in the specifics of everything.

Project 2/? for 2024!

Knitted this in record time whilst watching the 2024 Paris Olympics lol.

I liked the mix of variegation and gradient in this yarn! (And also loved that it was named after one of my favorite flowers (dandelion), and the pattern was chosen bc it reminded me of dandelion leaves!

Also, I did, in fact, win at yarn chicken 😎

About three weeks ago (a bit less) I had about half of one of the lace socks - I hadn't even started the heel (although I might have started the increases for it? I'm not sure). I realised that I really needed all of these socks for this Sunday (the 28th). And, as you can see, the will all be ready to give out!

The lace socks are a replacement gift from Mothers' Day 2023, because I overdid trying to make sure that the socks would be big enough. My mom was ok with me just remaking the socks, and my kid has the old ones. (They would have needed to be ripped back pretty much all the way anyhow.)

The banana socks are for my nieces. The colouring is because what kind of kid wants a banana sock that doesn't look like a banana?

Made a basket for foraging on nature walks and the like! The lining is hand-sewn in; my first attempt at doing that and I'm really proud of it!

Basket is a Posh Pooch Designs pattern. No tutorial followed for the lining, just ancestral guidance 🪶

Close up: The Favor Shawl by Dawn Barker, knitted in Biffsugar Yarns fingering weight merino & nylon in holiday color way "Snowflake" held double with the Wandering Flock's mohair silk in "Cosmic Tie Dye." The finished shawl is lightweight but very warm, fuzzy and skin-soft. I omitted the tassels but may eventually add them.
