Basically, Arti didn’t have pups for a while. She left her colony at a young age to adventure, and eventually joined the scavenger colony on top of 5p. There she met the Chieftain, and they fell in love. She ended up ruling beside him,

Their first kid was The Quandary. A scug-scav hybrid.

Then, they adopted two others - The Harmonic, a little scug who loved to sing and dance. They were a failed purposed organism; made with the idea of having wings, but the webbing never developed, leaving them with weird protrusions out of their paws. This leaves them with poor balance and mobility; and yet? They dance anyway. And The Messenger, an orphaned scav from far away. They’re inseparable with the Harmonic - the two have been wandering for a long time, keeping together. Strength in numbers, after all. They’ve been titled the messenger because they’ve traveled far, much like the messenger scugs before them - plus, maybe they just like telling people things.

firecracker : more than aware. the crimson passed near us very recently. the stronghold was hidden well enough to keep us safe. firecracker : i understand their pain, but i could never go that far for my father, or loved ones. they would never want me to hurt in turn for someone who hurt them.

Three reasons why Lloyd barely leaves firecrackers side (and one reason why she likes it)

Was he being paranoid? Was this the first time he had really felt fear, true and unhindered fear?

Lloyd was agitated, he felt his skin prickling with the rise of goosebumps. It was over a thousand miles away and Lloyd still felt as if it was on his doorstep. The breach from the Harbingers in the North made the rest of the faction leaders hyper aware.

Lloyd couldn’t leave your side, he couldn’t leave his Firecrackers side, especially not since the two of you had finally conceived.

Lloyd had categorically designated three reasons why he wouldn’t leave your side.

Reason 1, he claimed, was due to his suspicions that any rebel organization would target you specifically because you were his wife and carrying a child.

Reason 2, was rooted in your morning sickness that could leave you exhausted and Lloyd wanted to be everywhere to support you.

Reason 3, Lloyd knew you were having wicked cravings and wanted to satiate your hunger and any desire you had. He wanted to keep you happy and full, comfortable and protected.

“I like you like this,” you pinned him down and used him as a bed later that night, humming into his ear, “following me around all day. Reason why I love it?”

“Tell me?”

“Proof that Lloyd Hansen has a heart and soul.”

Headcanon: Whenever Gwen wants to play with Vance’s hair, his feelings about it are basically “I’ll comply, but I’ll complain the whole time!”

Yes!!

He doesn’t like having his very meticulously styled hair being touched and the idea of a silly hairstyle on him makes him shiver. But Gwen is relentless and refuses to let up about it so he’ll sit and huff and puff until she’s done and even if it’s a style he actually likes he’ll still be huffy about it and say ‘it looks like shit.’ And then Gwen will respond with even more huff, ‘that’s because it’s on you.’

They will fight and bicker about Vance’s hair, but usually Gwen wins.
