Happy Friday peeps!!! I'm starting today with a PSA: Always wear your Fitbit to get proper step counts.

As you can see my steps for the week of October 10-16 are significantly lower than prior week's. Why? I left my Fitbit charging on Friday. So I tried to track my steps via the app via MobileTrack. It had me at close to 18K steps for the day. When I synced the app to my Fitbit, I somehow lost 7K steps 🤷🏽‍♂️ Whatcha gonna do.

Anyhow, the steps and metrics are solid. A good foundation for this week's steps. Have a great weekend folks!!!

Yesterday marked a return to some rare stepping. It was a pleasant afternoon and I finished work relatively early so I decided to do one of my walkabout strolls around NYC. Sometimes one needs to be a tourist in one's hometown.

Starting at 57th and Lex, I walked north eventually crossing the Third Avenue Bridge into the Bronx and the ever-changing Mott Haven neighborhood. I finished at just under 30K. I resisted the urge to go back out and get the remaining 1.5K steps to go over 30K. I decided it was best to leave that ever rarer goal for another day.

Overall I walked 6.5 miles. It felt good and I feel strong today.

Happy Thursday peeps!!! Here are the steps for this past week (September 26 - October 2) At 118,303, the total steps are a bit of an increase of the 116,785 from the week before. Rest days are key to rest and recovery. This week Wednesday and Sunday were rest days. I have seen some improvement in terms of my stamina. I dont find my legs and feet feeling as tired as I did when I started at the USPS. It feels good to be rebuilding myself in terms of health and fitness. On to the next week!!!!
