This is my FB timehop from today last year. I need to get back down to this fitness level. It's not about the size, however it is the effect of getting to a desired fitness level. This was just before my weight began to pile on due to a health development that I allowed to get into my head. Add that on top of my spiritual growth process, inevitable weight gain. I'm not obese. I'm not overweight, in my eyes, but I am uncomfortable and I feel heavy within my workouts. When our body feels heavy, it's difficult to move freely which can effect what we attempt to do. I am determined to push hard again. Workouts, blasting sessions and always moving throughout the day. It'll be easier now that it's getting warm out. Gardens will be planted and tons to do outdoors. The dog will get walked more and I will be more productive. This time last year my mindset wasn't as it is today. Imagine who I'd be if I combined me today with my fitness determination from then!! Today was 2×15. Glad I recorded my weighted bent over rows there. I used a 20 lb weight. I see that my hips are not aligned, so next time I'll go lighter in order to get the proper form. I'm so glad I did my workout this morning. There was no time for other responsibilities to interrupt or for my mind to try to talk me out of it. Saying that I would do it tonight, was an option today. I tend to get them in, no matter what, but something is always off by then. My mood or my energy level just isn't the same. If you're the type to NOT do it later in the day or at all, but know that you need to, set your alarm a few minutes earlier each day so that you can get it in before life tries to take it away from you. Lay your clothes out each night before bed & follow fitness & positive minded people. Remind yourself each night just before you close your eyes, that being healthier is exciting & so much better for you. If you go to bed excited about it, you'll more than likely wake up excited about it too. I still have the rest of the day to hem my dress, clean, cook, read, fasciablast for my #heartbuttchallenge & #painrelief & whatever life adds to my schedule. When you skip out on one good thing that you know that you should do, you'll skip out on other things too. I spent the afternoon working in the garden then fighting nausea. My allergies cause me to get that way sometimes but so does fresh cut grass with wild onions in it. I'm allergic to onions so I wasn't feeling so hot while outdoors. I made some delicious homemade soup. Homemade chicken broth (frozen), blackened chicken breast (sliced), carrots & spinach to help settle my tummy. A late workout calls for a little liquid gold to get me in the mood. You don't always want to work out. Time will always be against you it seems. This is a choice. Do you want to be healthy!? Do you want to be productive with less stress!? Do you want to add years to your life!? Then you have to choose health. You have to choose happiness. I am so proud of myself!!!! When you're done with your errands & it's really nice out, all ya want to do is be outside & work in the garden. And I did for the most part. I even ate supper!! A delicious cheeseburger salad using shredded cabbage instead of lettuce topped with chili oil. Cause I like it hot 🔥. Yum! It was super filling & the laziness was setting in. So I grabbed my energy drink, took a quick walk, got bit by a mosquito (son of a biotch 😂) & came back in to complete 45 minutes of my booty day along with my 45 minutes of my #heartbuttchallenge exercises & fasciablasting session. Can I get a whoop whoop, please!? 👊 If you want change, you have to make changes. And I am in it for the long haul. Don't expect shortcuts or quick fixes. Hard work does pay off. When you know you need to change but you never do, you're only failing yourself. There's only ONE YOU, only ONE LIFE given, sometimes we only get ONE CHANCE to make a change.
