Some language learning apps:
Notifyword - free, closest I cpuld find to a free alternative to Glossika with the feature to upload your own sentences/decks/spreadsheets, and it makes audio using TTS and plays them. However I did not test it enough to see if it schedules new/reviews so you don't need to manage figuring all that out yourself. It has potential, I will check into the app again in a year.
Smart Book by KursX - free, used to be my favorite app to read novels as it could do parallel sentence translation, then something broke on my version and it crashed whenever I opened a novel. Now any chinese book I add epub or txt shows me a black screen, no text, making the app unusable. Its easier to read in the web browser now. Which makes me sad because this app was so good back when I got it. Then something broke and I haven't been able to fix it. I paid for premium for this app I liked it so much, I'm really sad I can't see text in books in it anymore. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know? Maybe it's a txt file setting? But then why do the epubs also not load text? Anyway great app... if it works for you. Sadly its broken for me.
Live Transcribe - I don't use this enough. It transcribes what people say (or audio), then you can click to translate the text.
LingoTube - only free app I know where I can put in a youtube video link, and it will make dual subtitles/let me replay the video line by line (including repeating a loop on one line), click translate individual words. Excellent for intensive listening. I'm usually lazy so I just watch youtube and look up an occasional word in Google Translate or Pleco. But this tool is excellent for intensively looking a lot up in a video/relistening to particular lines.
Duoreader - basic collection of parallel texts. No options to upload files, but super nice for what it is. Totally free.
Chinese:
Hanly - a new free app for learning hanzi. Looks great, has great mnemonics and sound information and you can tell it was made with love/a goal in mind. It's still new though so only the first 1000 hanzi have full information filled out, making it more useful for beginners. As the app is worked on more, I'm hoping it will become more useful for intermediate learners.
Readibu - free, great for reading webnovels just get it if you want to read chinese webnovels. You can import almost ANY webpage into Readibu to read, just paste the url into the search. So if you have a particular novel in mind you may want to do that instead of searching the app's built in genres.
Pleco - free, great for everything just get it if you're learning chinese. Great dictionary, great (one time purchase) paid features like handwriting, additional dictionaries, graded readers. Great SRS flashcard system, great Reader tool (and free Clipboard Reader which is 80% of what I use the app for - especially Dictate Audio feature which Readibu can't do).
Bilibili.com app - look up a tutorial, it is fairly easy to make an account in the US (and I imagine other countries) using your email. The algorithm is quite good at suggesting things similar to what you search. So once I searched a couple danmei, I got way more recommended. Once I searched one manhua video, more popped up. Once I searched one dubbed cartoon, more popped up. You can easily spend as much time on this as you'd like.
Weibo - you can browse tags/search without an account. I could not make an account with a US phone and no wechat account. Nice for browsing tags/looking up particular topics.
Japanese:
Tae Kims Grammar Guide - has an app version that's formatted to read easier on phones.
Yomiwa - this is the dictionary app I use for japanese on android.
Satori Reader - amazing graded reader app for japanese with full audiobooks for each reader (which you can listen to individual sentences of on repeat if desired), individual grammar explanations for each part, human translations for each word and sentence. When I start reading more this is what I want to use. Too expensive right now unless I'm reading a bunch, as only the first chapter (or first few) of each graded reader is free. I would suggest checking out the free Tadoku Graded Readers first online, then coming to this app later.

If you've found this list of fic recs via my Dreamling Fic Recs Masterpost, then you know this list is one of many.
However, if you came upon this list some other way, then know that it is in no way an exhaustive archive of the best of the best in Dreamling (especially since Tumblr posts have a link limit of 100 inline links per post – which this one, according to my calculations). For the full spiel about how this list came to be and a link to my Google Doc with the most up-to-date full list, please see the Masterpost for details.
All you need to know is that this list works sort of like a menu at a restaurant. You're here to eat at Restaurant Dreamling, and the item categories on this menu are of course:
Alternate Universe
Angst with a Happy Ending
Character Study
Crossover
Fishbowl Rescue
Fluff
Friends / Enemies to Lovers
Getting Together
Each category, of course, has sub-category flavor profiles like Hurt/Comfort, Omegaverse, and Dreamsharing, followed by the menu items (i.e., the thing you're here for – the fic recs).
All fic recs in this list are complete, for your reading consideration.
I hope that explanation was enough to get you hungry for some tasty Dreamling fics, and may you have a wonderful dining experience!

Cooking Prep with Wild.
———
| [Ao3 Link] |
The preparation of food, especially of breaking animal carcasses into edible meat for cooking, is something that is consistent across all the eras of Hyrule.
Time, as a farmer, is more than familiar with this process.
Wind is not.
Wild, is arguably, even more familiar with this process. What he considers edible meat, however, is not just limited to animals.
Time and Wind, have questions.
{Written during the hour long, first sprint prompt of the Linked Universe discord — Prompt: Cooking}
Word Count: 646.
Warnings: Non graphic descriptions of processing a (monster) carcass into meat for cooking/mentions of monsters being eaten as food, mentions of blood.
A/N: Honestly this was not going to be the first fic I was going to post for LU/LoZ but as soon as I saw the prompt for the sprint, I immediately knew I had to put my niche knowledge of unusual medieval—victorian era cooking knowledge to use. And since technically consuming monster parts is both canon and a viable option in BotW/TotK, I couldn't resist the urge to take some creative liberties and add a little dungeon meshi vibe to Wild.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this very short oneshot.
———
“Wild?” Time asked in a tone, that Wild had roughly worked out was meant to express resignation.
Wild hummed in response, too busy focussing on carving into the bokoblin. Well carving off parts would be the more accurate description but waste not want not! It had been ages since he'd had the chance to do this since there hadn't been a chance to test the edibility of the monsters from the other eras yet. The fights had been far too efficient and destructive, sure part of that was his fault with his improvised time bomb arrows and whatnot but he was hardly the only one with bombs or bomb arrows!
Wind scrambled over the broken monster fortifications to reach him and Time, immediately attempting to poke the bokoblin with a stick as soon as he was in range. “Whatcha doing?”
Huffing, Wild finely sliced off the ears of the bokoblin, inspecting them in the dying light of the sun. “Harvesting.”
“For your potions?” He eyed the monster parts curiously. “So you were telling the truth, potions are really made of monster parts?”
“Elixirs. And no, this is for dinner.” Wild grunted, snapping his carving knife into its skull and cracking it like a palm fruit, before scooping out the brain.
Time stared unimpressed at Wild.
“The guts and horns are for elixirs because they contain higher quantities of malice which means they have to be boiled thoroughly before they're consumed, otherwise you risk getting minor gloom poisoning.” Wild explained, grinning slightly, as he chopped off the nose. “Nothing some sunshine or sunny foods can't fix, of course but it's inconvenient if you're regularly travelling, like us, and can't set up something like a Hunter's pot to stew them until they're safe to eat. Besides, usually these parts are kept for emergencies because elixirs can't use any old monster part so it's better to save them in case you need to whip up more elixirs, or if there's a particularly bad farming season and you have to make the most of what you've got. Which is usually when the community comes together with all their saved offal and bones, and whatever fruit or veg can be spared to build a perpetual stew.”
Time pinched the bridge of his nose. “Usually people don't use monster offal or bones. They're not considered safe, or clean, to eat. It's only game or livestock that we use all the parts of.”
“Well that's a waste!” Wild grunted, scooping out the bokoblin's eyes before eyeing the rest of the battered head as he crossed his arms and grumbled slightly. “Monsters are an excellent delicacy in my Hyrule, in fact since the end of both the Calamity and the Upheaval we've had flocks of visitors from our neighbouring countries eager to taste our unique cuisine.”
Wind poked at the skull with the stick again. “Yeah but they're probably there for your recipes like pizza! Or the Goron curries! Or the weird purple monster foods you can make!”
He paused, eyes lighting up. “So what do you do with the head? Do you use the skull as a goblet filled with blood?”
Wild made a noise between a cough and snort. “Nah, blood's better used for making blood sausages but this guy's lost too much for me to get any worthwhile amounts from 'im. Better to let his blood fertilise the soil instead. Besides I'd need someone else to hold the cooking pot beneath the monster whilst I slit its throat.”
“Ooh! Next time you find one with enough blood, can I help!” Wind pleaded, eyes widening as he pouted at Wild with his classic puppy dog eyes.
Wild thrust his fist towards Wind for a fist bump. “Of course! It's been ages since I had a chance to make them!”
Behind them, Time groaned, he hoped next time wouldn't be any time soon.

Thank you for reading! Hopefully you enjoyed this short oneshot!
Likes, reblogs, replies/reblog comments, and asks are all much appreciated!
I shouldn't have to say this but due to previous comments I've received in other fandoms: — Criticism and/or rude comments are not welcome regardless if you try to soften them with compliments/compliment sandwiches. I write and share my fics for fun. Not to be degraded or criticised as if this was homework or literature coursework.
Otherwise, I'll be over the moon to receive any comments, whether it's as short as <3, emojis/kaomojis/emoticons, extra kudos, or as long as a whole fic reaction comment! No matter the comment, you'll have my undying love and gratitude.
Also, if you'd like me to write some more cooking monsters with Wild fics, then just yell down in the comments!

marauders as songs without words (mendelssohn) pieces: regulus black
okay, i've been thinking about this for the past few days so i finally had to type it out. i've been doing some practice sightreading out of this book featuring all of mendelssohn's songs without words and after playing through one that really reminded me of regulus i wanted to do all of the marauders!! but for now, i will stick with regulus, who inspired this all.
i honestly have two options for him. first, op. 30 no. 6 in f sharp minor. i linked here a barenboim recording (barenboim is just such an excellent pianist i love his interpretations)
this is the one that really caught my attention. from that e sharp in the third measure, i felt regulus's blunt nature. we have this repeating figure in measures five and six that appear throughout the piece, which makes me think of his family's constant presence in his life. i see the trills as him sort of floundering under the pressure from his family while also wanting to be his own individual, but he eventually succumbs to his family's wishes with the following falling line.
towards the end of the piece, there is this pattern of playing a broken f sharp octave in the left hand followed by a block chord in the right hand that to me is reminiscent of his struggles with where he was in the later part of his life, constantly fighting between who he is and who he wishes he could've been, if he could go back and rewind these past years. the last two trills feel like a vulnerable representation of him before he fades away into the last few measures.
overall, it has that drama that a black brother needs and this sort of haunting sound that i think regulus might appreciate.
the other option was op. 67 no. 5 in b minor which i found after when i was fully fleshing out this idea but arguably prefer (again, the barenboim recording).
again, this piece has that slightly bitter sound that i think works well for regulus. also that chord on the second beat of measure 9 (about 0:26 in that recording linked above) is just so devastating, i love it. then by measure 14 (0:44 ish) the piece takes a distinct turn to a major sound. it feels innocent and nostalgic, like thinking of a happy memory with a rosy background. this could be representative of regulus's happy moments at hogwarts, with his friends and perhaps romantic interests (regardless of who you ship him with).
but soon enough, it takes a tragic minor turn, so suddenly and smoothly. he has returned home, reminded of his life as his family's heir and what they expect of him. we then return to the main theme with slight adjustments to the harmony. after his time at hogwarts, he has a new perspective of his family and their involvement with voldemort. he is disillusioned with it all, angry for what they have made him become, yet hopeful that there is some way he can fix it.
measure 28 (1:28) marks a choice. i think it perhaps up to interpretation how you see the ending...
anyway, so that was me totally geeking out over these pieces and my newfound interesting in the marauders. i apologize, i'm still quite new to this fandom so i don't know if i've captured regulus's character perfectly. i would absolutely love to hear any music recs for him or other marauders characters or your opinions on these two!
i also apologize for my musical analysis, i have been a bit out of the game for the past couple of years (college has been a lot lol) so i also love to hear other interpretations as well! i might type up some other characters' pieces out of my own interest (particularly i have one for lily i adore) but hopefully it brings enjoyment to other people too :)
thank you so much for reading to my silly rant! <3
#marauders#marauders era#the marauders#marauders fandom#regulus black#sirius black#james potter#peter pettigrew#lily evans#classical music#felix mendelssohn#also my final apology has to be for so infrequently being on here#college truly has made me so busy#and i know that as soon as i get super emotionally invested in certain shows/fandoms#i will put aside all of my work lol#so i have had to restrain myself#but i hope you don't mind me popping in every now and again#thank you all for reading#also a special hello to clementine if you're reading this :)

Greetings dear Whovians,
Perhaps, it’s time to explain what’s going on with this blog, why it was abandoned and what lies ahead.
Doctor Who as a show ended for me with Peter Capaldi. Period. I tried to give a chance to Jodie Whittaker’s doctor, but even her first episode was a struggle: I could not see the Doctor in her, there was absolutely no chemistry with companions and I couldn’t care less of what’s going on on a screen.
At that point I made a tough decision that I should say goodbye to my favourite show, otherwise it would be ruined and I would grow to hate something that was seared onto my heart.
Looking back and reading comments how the writing went downhill - this perhaps was the best decision as I still have any good memories about the show (even though Capaldi deserved a better writing, especially in his last season).
All these years I avoided spoilers (and Tumblr) and I have no clue what have actually happened in the series - only the fact that it was horrible and they re-wrote things that shouldn’t be touched.
With the news of RTD coming back I was very hesitant to start watching again considering the gap of 3 seasons which I have no intention to close and catch up. But all the trailers looked very intruiging with a definite vibe of ‘good old days’, so I decided to give it a try.
To be completely open with you - not sure how I feel about The Star Beast episode. Despite amazing chemistry between David and Catherine (who didn’t age a day!), excellent references to previous story lines and heartwarming moments, I feel like all this woke agenda was a bit too much and maybe even unnecessary. This is not kind of show when you need to push on a viewer and write a plot twist around it. Don't get me wrong, but overall it looked like a very poor writing just to squeeze to the episode and not the important message.
Speaking of continuity of doctowhoblog.
I started this blog over 12 years ago when I was still at University, then I started my job and things got complicated. I reached the point when I had a very little free time on my hands and wanted to spend it wisely. Tumblr became a time consuming blackhole with no reward in return, so at some point the weight of value of my time overcome the need to be here.
Would I make gifs again? Frankly speaking I do not remember HOW anymore…turned out it’s not like riding a bicycle.
In addition, a lot of things on Tumblr as a platform changed: the last time I made gifs it was 500px with 2mb limit. Now rules have changed and I have no clue what is the standard and where to begin.
Blog Theme is broken, I know. A lot of things needs fixing, starting from post ‘blocks’, as it appears there’s now not only photo and photoset, but also panorama - what the hell is {block:Panorama} Tumblr?! Links are broken and everything is a mess.
Please bare with me, I will try to fix it if my head will not explode of all these new additions and features.
I wouldn’t jump into conclusion that I am back (yet), but there’s some hope that I would appear on this website from time to time (would the show not go downhill again and continue be promising).

Fi and Ghirahim: Siblings
Fi and Ghirahim were born to two powerful executives in a city far from The Town where this AU takes place.
Twins.
From the moment she was born, everyone knew Fi was different. Her facial expression rarely changed, and neither did her tone. Both parents loved her just as much, and so did Ghirahim.
Ghirahim and Fi were incredibly close. They always did everything together and loved playing pretend. On their sixth birthday, the pair both got a set of fake gemstones in their favorite colors--blue for Fi and red for Ghirahim--and the two traded eachother the biggest gem in each set.
The other children weren't so kind.
They would bully her relentlessly, and Ghirahim would get caught in the crossfire for trying to defend her. The seething hatred Ghirahim held for his peers was unparalleled.
But he got even.
Only in little ways. Broken glass in their shoes. Strings of tape lined with tacks hidden in their desks.
It's rumored that he even set another child on fire because said child threw their full milk carton at his sister's head.
Ghirahim's cruelty was the direct cause of his parents' divorce.
Their father was more than happy to let Ghirahim get away with such things--if that incompetent school isn't going to do anything about these little snots bullying his daughter, why punish his son for standing up for her? He covered up every incident.
Their mother, on the other hand, was horrified. She hates the bullying as much as her husband does, but this isn't the way to go about fixing it! She was fully ready to punish Ghirahim, and even have him sent to a correction center if he kept doing it.
The conflicting opinions and what they wanted for their children drove the couple apart. Their mother eventually left, taking Fi with her.
The children were distraught. But there was no changing the adults' minds. Ghirahim wasn't even allowed to contact his sister anymore.
Here is where the story diverges... (more under the cut!)
Fi
She and their mother moved to the little town where this AU takes place.
Fi missed her brother terribly, and couldn't understand why she couldn't talk to him anymore. Even after their mother explained what he did, it just didn't make sense to her. Ghirahim had been cruel to the others, but they were cruel first. And the adults that were meant to protect her didn't do anything about it until Ghirahim got involved. It wasn't fair.
As she grew older, she gradually understood that Ghirahim's actions weren't the best in a general perspective.
...in a way, she still appreciated them, though.
In this new town, school wasn't as bad. Fi found kids that loved having her around.
Namely, she found Link.
He was a little strange, himself, and didn't seem to mind any of her own eccentricities.
With Link, she also found Midna, Melody, and Zelda. They all quickly became best friends.
Fi took lots of speech classes and learned how to make different facial expressions. It takes a lot of effort to do, but if she plans them in advance, it's far easier.
Perhaps this is why she took such a shine to theater.
You memorize your lines, you memorize the body language, you memorize the facial expressions. Then when you're onstage, you just run it through.
She struggles a little with improvisation, but she's getting better at it.
Fi also excelled in singing lessons and dance class.
Now she is a local prodigy. Their mother passed away not long after Fi turned eighteen. Now Fi lives alone, with the Link's Secret Polycule to fill her social life.
After Ghirahim moved here, she got back into contact with him. She disapproves of his disingenuous actions, but that's still her brother. She still loves him, and will drop everything she's doing to go and help him if he's in danger.
Ghirahim
"Losing" Fi was not good for his mental health. When you spend your life as two halves of a whole, what are you supposed to do when one of those halves is ripped away?
His father didn't help matters. His constant attempts to poison Ghirahim against his mother and sister ground on Ghirahim's soul, and the boy soon learned to resent the old man.
School was still hellish, especially now that he had a wicked reputation. Now the bullies directly targeted him.
But Ghirahim survived.
He attached himself to the more popular kids by offering them things they wanted, and enjoyed the protection. It was a lot of manipulation and backstabbing.
After he turned eighteen, he moved out as quickly as possible.
Cut off from his father, he struggled to earn enough money to move to the town Fi was living in. His fashion line wasn't going anywhere, and finding a 'regular' job was proving equally difficult.
In the meantime, his dating life was turbulent. A string of men and women, a string of failed relationships.
Eventually he hooked up with the local crime boss, and that was alright for awhile. Having money was good, and the sex was amazing. But at the end of every encounter, Ghirahim always felt neglected in some way. As if he was just a good lay and nothing more to the other man.
The breakup was incredibly messy and left some very deep scars in Ghirahim that still haven't healed.
In the midst of it all, he started his beauty vlog channel. The explosion of popularity brought in a ton of money and fame.
Ghirahim finally found his niche.
After the influx of cash, Ghirahim was able to buy a mansion in the suburbs of The Town, and was eager to get into contact with Fi again.
The first thing he did was show her something he'd saved.
It was the large blue plastic 'diamond' from their childhood.
He'd never forgotten about her.
And even if she doesn't like him for the things he's done, he's still her brother, and he loves her all the same.

Hiiieeeeeeee. I heard you like v-games.
3. Favorite boss?
15. Hardest game you’ve ever played?
19. A game that you wish you could play for the first time again.
25. Favorite environment in a game?
40. Best game cover art.
I went back in my inbox and there are some asks I haven't answered, clearing things out. So throwback meme!
3. Favorite Boss:
I'm partial to Facade from Link's Awakening. I think he's simple, he's memorable. He comes at a part of the game where you learn a very big revelation. The music for The Face Shrine is stunning, and really does something interesting considering the Ballad of the Wind Fish isn't a part of the song despite being part of the other dungeons' music. I like that Facade isn't an enemy you can fight with a sword. I like that his name means edifice, and he's the floor aka part of the building, but also mask, and he's a face. I like that he comes when you have to decide between dream or reality.
Can you tell I did a Zelda deep dive a bit ago?
15. Hardest Game You've Ever Played?
This is a tough and interesting question- what's a hard game, after all. Do I play hard games? I don't know if that's something I do. I like fiddly or intricate games. But I'm not sure I play hard games- I get frustrated easily. I guess I do play hard games, but they have to onboard you really really well. You have to feel like it's hard but achievable right? Like you're struggling but you could succeed.
I might say Desktop Dungeons. Simple concept, really intricate execution, technically not hard at all, but the Tower of Ga'antalet is still not cleared on Vicious on my save file, and I followed that game from Alpha to Beta to release to Rerelease with better graphics. My account is like a decade old. Maybe I'm dumb. Or maybe I just need to drill in and practice, because I've cleared almost everything else.
19. A game that you wish you could play for the first time again.
Final Fantasy Tactics. It's my first major game. Introduced my love of turn based strategy. Great story, rich execution. Broken as hell and glitchy, but in a fun way. Tons of side content but plenty of room to be expanded. I wish I could go through it the first time all over again, not knowing what was next, what was important, how to play correctly. The struggle was fun. I remember getting creamed on Dorter Trade City, like every new player. I remember thinking the Desert Map was crazy. I remember not playing the game for like 3 weeks when I got to the rooftop with Rafa because it was IMPOSSIBLE (Ok maybe some bits of the game aren't that great. Fix Rafa's AI so that's not a roulette ok thx).
Favorite Game. Excellent content. Gonna play it again right now probably.
25. Favorite Environment in a Game?
God I really, REALLY like the setting in FFXII, but particularly I like the Rainy Season Giza Plains. I just have such fond memories of that area, and the Wild Hunts are fun. It's early, it's accessible, its somehow new and exciting because it introduced weather as something that you have to care about. I like Phon Coast too but it's a bit too sparkly, and I also like the Salikawoods too. Just a great game for environments imo.
40. Best Game Cover Art
Ask me this in 5 minutes and my answer will change. I think it would be really funny to say Triangle Strategy (Hello most generic cover art and name of all time. Great game, but TERRIBLE marketing). I think today I'm going to go with Celeste- because it's nostalgic for me. It's cute.

AO3 Masterlist
All of these link to my AO3, mostly because that's my personal favorite site to read fan fiction on, and it's much easier to make multiple stories into a series!
Unless otherwise noted, all my series/stories are ongoing, which means…if you have a prompt for any of them, shoot them my way.
The Court of Gold and Shadows*
you'll be made of ashes too
Elain Archeron makes the most beautiful bride.
Azriel copes.
for the first time, what's past is past
Of all the ways, Azriel expected to meet his mate, this wasn't it.
something good and right and real
Azriel had spent centuries believing that he of all people didn't deserve a mate. And if anything, the last three years had just galvinised that particular belief. And then he meets her.
The first time Oriana met Azriel, she thought that he reminded her of a skittish cat. Shy and a little bit broken. Good for him that she absolutely excelled in fixing the things around her.
Romance is not dead if you keep it just yours
5 Times Cassian thought that Azriel had feelings for somebody and then the 1 time he finally met the girl his brother was in love with.
I breathe flames each time I talk
The story of how Oriana Fireborn Belmont, Third Daughter of the First Daughter, met her mate's family.
Also the story of how Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court finally recognises that by the cauldron, there is no fury like that of a female scorned.
Meanwhile, Azriel would just like everybody to get along.
The Unexpected Series*
“If you need to fuck someone, go to a pleasure hall and pay for it, but stay away from her.”
What if… Azriel actually takes Rhys at his word? And does exactly what his High Lord ordered? With unexpected consequences.
Unafraid
Azriel does exactly what his High Lord ordered him to do. (Well, kinda.)
Unprecedented
This is Azriel finding out about said unexpected consequences
Unknowing
This is the Inner Circle finding out about said consequences. Azriel is very good at keeping secrets
Indelible*
Indelible Scars
Azriel knew pain. So did Galena.
Also known as: Azriel’s mate is a healer and the first time they meet, he nearly dies on her.
Glorious Sunrise
So what happens after the mating bond snaps?
Well-meaning interfering family members, deep conversations and nights spent brooding on the roof like some kind of gargoyle…this one has it all.
(The Smutty Sequel y’all asked for ;) )
A Pocketful of Stars*
New Pursuits
The shadows decide that Azriel needs a hobby.
5 times when said hobby-related shenanigans didn’t end so well…and the one time where it may end up better than Azriel could ever have imagined.
Welcome to the World
The quickest turnaround time between finding your mate and having a kid anybody in the history of Prythian has ever managed
The Starlight Princess*
The Starlight Princess
There is a Pool of Starlight in the Spring Court. A piece of the Night Court that has no business being in the land of Eternal Spring. So how did it come to be?
Or: How the Spymaster of the Night Court starts hearing a voice, realises that no, he is not insane after all, frees a princess, kills a High Lord…and finds his mate all at the same time.
The Prophecy
Lightning in a Bottle
Eira Archeron was neither a Valkyrie, nor a Seer, nor the High Lady of the Night Court. She was actually pretty much useless. The only thing she wanted was to be somebody's first choice for once in her life.
Also known as: Azriel's shadows decide that if he doesn't treat his mate right... they'll just do it for him.
Looked to the Sky
Eira Archeron was neither a Valkyrie, nor a Seer, nor the High Lady of the Night Court. She was, however, Azriel‘s mate with her own mysterious, untrained powers.
Also known as: Azriel tries to court his mate the human way.
Recipe for Love
Peach Cobbler
Azriel finds a bakery and creates his very own reward system.
Honey Cakes
The Beehive Bakery is out of Peach Cobbler. This leads Azriel to make some very impulsive decisions.
Don't wait for the Sky to Clear
The Fourth Archeron sister makes herself a life in the Dawn Court.
dust of your highest hopes
Eavesdroppers never hear anything good about themselves, goes the idiom.
When Solana hears an admission from the High Lord of Day, she’s ill-prepared for it. She doesn’t believe in fairytales any longer, but maybe there was a happily ever after for Solana and Helion somewhere
The Ties that Bind
Shadowsingers were made, not born. Made out of trauma and loneliness and desperation.
So when Cilla and Azriel meet and their shadows entwine, they both meet the only other person that could understand these particular childhood scars.
The last thing Azriel had ever expected from his mate, however, was for her to have a surprising connection to his brother.
The Witching Hour
5 Times members of the Inner Circle get absolutely terrified by Azriel's...whatever she is, and 1 (of many) times Azriel thinks that his witch was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Bound by Blood
Azriel's witch has some very smutty plans for Samhain.
Tear the World Apart
Eris’ mate decides to get rid of her father-in-law. Also known as: If Eris Vanserra married a very bloodthirsty Margaery Tyrell.
Brighten Up the Sky
A Mating Bond between her younger sister and the Night Court’s shadowsinger was the last thing Feyre had expected to spring up…but then, maybe it did make sense.
Stars all aligned
If there was one thing that both Azriel and Zahra Archeron had in common, it was that they were both very good at blending into the background.
It's a Love Story
Azriel's shadows find their master a wife.
Azriel would just really like his heart not to get broken again.
And Sky...well, she's just really surprised that that far too handsome male is interested in her at all.
Holy Ground
Nobody knew that Azriel found his mate. Until she nearly died. This is the aftermath.
(Super pretty dividers thanks to @tsunami-of-tears !)

Recovering from Google Penalties: A Step-by-Step Guide
In the world of SEO, receiving a Google penalty can be a nightmare for website owners. These penalties can significantly impact your website's ranking and visibility in search results. However, the good news is that recovery is possible with the right strategy and approach. In this step-by-step guide, we'll walk you through the process of recovering from Google penalties and regaining your website's SEO health.
Identify the Penalty
The first step in recovery is to identify the type of penalty your website has received. Google typically issues two types of penalties: manual and algorithmic. Manual penalties are imposed by Google's human reviewers, while algorithmic penalties are automatic and related to updates like Panda or Penguin. To identify the penalty, log in to your Google Search Console account and check for any notifications or messages from Google regarding the penalty.
Conduct a Thorough Site Audit
Once you've identified the penalty, conduct a comprehensive audit of your website. Look for issues related to content quality, backlinks, on-page SEO, and technical issues. Tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO auditing tools can help identify problem areas.
Resolve On-Page SEO Issues
Address any on-page SEO issues such as duplicate content, thin or low-quality content, keyword stuffing, or hidden text. Ensure that your content is valuable, relevant, and follows Google's content guidelines. Make necessary changes and improvements to your website's pages.
Remove or Disavow Toxic Backlinks
If your penalty is related to backlinks, identify and remove or disavow toxic or spammy links. Google considers high-quality, relevant backlinks as a positive ranking factor, so focus on building a clean and natural backlink profile.
Improve User Experience
Enhance your website's user experience by optimizing page load times, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and fixing broken links or 404 errors. A user-friendly website is more likely to regain its rankings.
Create High-Quality Content
Content is king in the world of SEO. Create high-quality, engaging, and valuable content that meets the needs of your target audience. Focus on providing unique insights, solving problems, and delivering value to your readers.
Request Reconsideration (For Manual Penalties)
If you received a manual penalty, you can request reconsideration after making the necessary improvements. In your reconsideration request, explain the steps you've taken to rectify the issues and demonstrate your commitment to following Google's guidelines.
Monitor Progress
After implementing the recovery strategy, closely monitor your website's performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Keep an eye on changes in rankings, traffic, and search impressions.
Stay Compliant with Google's Guidelines
To prevent future penalties, stay updated with Google's guidelines and algorithm updates. Continuously improve your website's SEO practices and focus on delivering a top-notch user experience.
Seek Professional Help if Needed
Recovering from Google penalties can be a complex and time-consuming process. If you're unsure about the steps or need expert guidance, consider hiring an SEO specialist or agency with experience in penalty recovery.

Nines felt like he'd been given a compliment, but he wasn't one to accept them about the job he was specifically made to do. He didn't see why others felt the need to do it, to him it was a waste of time and pointless. It would make sense to compliment a unit on doing something they weren't designed to excel at, but that was just another thing humans did that he wouldn't understand.
"Emotions can cloud ones judgement, which leads to killers going free and the innocent behind bars. Even if others frown upon my methods, it doesn't matter as I know it yields the best results." He'd been lectured on his behavior before, called a few rude names even, but he wasn't going to let it change his views.
"It's been easy so far, we should be fine. And we have a plan if anything does happen." John nodded, he felt they'd likely never have to go into hiding, but it was always good to have a plan for everything.
"Of course." The RK900 sat back as he picked his cards up from the table, he wouldn't say no to further annoying the other units at the table. "And maybe you can share what you were thinking about...? I'm going to guess it was related to another human, one you know well?" And maybe the human well he was at it.
Kelvin turned to face her, taking a moment to adjust his stance as he was far more unsteady on his feet then Sixty was. He titled his his head slightly as he watched her sign, his broken LED flickered yellow before it shut off once again.
He nodded and pointed at his name tag, showing he understood most of what she'd said to him. "Yes. Hello." He signed back, pausing a moment then shaking his head to let her know he hadn't understood the last fully.
He glanced at her hand then looked at his own, before he carefully took off the glove covering his hand and retracted his skin. He looked back at her and took her hand, he didn't understand why she wanted to interface with him, but he was willing to let her try.
He accepted the link under the assumption it would be like previous ones where the other unit would try to view his memories, or even speak with him. So he allowed her full access to his memory and opened a line of communication.
Sixty moved to stand near Strasky, he'd watched enough androids link with Kelvin to know they always threw themselves away from him seconds after the link was established. So he knew not to stand too close due to the violent reactions.
Strasky glanced at the RK800 then back to Willow and Kelvin, he didn't have any idea what was going on, and he felt it was best to wait for an explanation due to Sixty's cautious behavior.
"It is a bit of a frustratin' game when it comes to the boss fights, so I can understand how it's not for everyone." Ellis responded as he grabbed a few tools from a nearby workbench.
"If they want it that bad, you could ask Pete to play it well ya watch. Jus' talk with 'im, I'm sure the online folks would enjoy how he rages 'nd stuff." The android stuffed the tools into his pockets after confirming he had what he needed.
"I can feel the veins in my forehead thickenin' was a response I got for askin' 'im how it felt to finally beat a boss he'd been strugglin' with." He paused as another unit piped up. "I liked I wanna lay face down on a radiator, not even victory makes him happy." The unit laughed before returning to their work.
"Then you can enjoy the game without the frustration." He smiled before he got under the car.
"Oh, from what they descried, I'd have to say clutch failure. Likely dusted the friction plate. I'll know when I get a face full of it." He answered as he got to work, and soon he was coughing well he climbed out from under the car.
"Yep, easy fix." He confirmed once the coughing had stopped, wiping the black powder off his face with a dirty rag. "Yeah, don't breathe that shit if you're human, some got asbestos in 'em." He wiped his eyes as they'd started to tear up. "Cleanin' fluid, I'm not actually cryin'." He explained, most humans were concerned when they saw androids start crying since they didn't know that was just how they removed dirt from their eyes.
Well, he couldn't say no to a chance to be obnoxious at somebody else’s expense. Whether it landed didn't really matter. Bishop simply refused to get mad over it, as it'd look pretty pathetic.
"Some detectives would disagree with your statement, but I understand. The greatest minds treasure their solitude."
Though he could appreciate Nines' general demeanor. If there was something Stockman could have done with was the ability to be quiet.
Bishop casually shuffled his cards as he tried picturing the scientist finally shutting the hell up. "Indeed. Keeping a low profile should keep you out of any such talks until the danger has passed. Now, should we play another round?"
Kelvin's arrival didn't go unnoticed and soon enough, Willow was walking up to him, a plushie in her hand as she made sure to catch his attention. Her pink hair was hard to miss and even then, she was carrying an item related to the current task that definitely couldn't be ignored.
"Hello, Kelvin. My name is Willow." she signed, as it felt polite to try that first, then held out her hand so she could attempt establishing a connection.
"Oh yeah, the music's great." Rook agreed, "I haven't played Hollow Knight yet. My stream chat keeps saying I should, but I feel like they just want to watch me swear at cute cartoon bugs in funny ways."
She clearly didn't sound thrilled at the idea. Rook watched Ellis get back to work.
"So, what's wrong with this car?"

Why Every Educational Institution Needs an SEO Agency for Schools
In the age of digital transformation, educational institutions are no longer dependent solely on word-of-mouth or traditional advertising methods. Parents, students, and guardians now turn to search engines like Google to research schools, compare facilities, and make enrollment decisions. This shift makes Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a vital component of a school's digital marketing strategy. That’s where a specialized SEO agency for schools becomes indispensable.
The Digital Shift in Education
Over the past decade, the education sector has undergone a significant digital shift. From online classes to digital admission forms and virtual campus tours, institutions are leveraging technology like never before. However, merely having a website or a social media presence isn’t enough. The real challenge lies in making sure your school shows up in search engine results when potential students or parents are looking for educational services.
This is where SEO plays a crucial role. It ensures that your school is visible online, ranks high on relevant search terms, and attracts the right audience. An experienced SEO agency for schools understands these dynamics and offers tailored solutions that cater specifically to the educational domain.
Why Choose an SEO Agency Specializing in Schools?
Not all SEO services are created equal. A generalist digital marketing agency may not understand the nuances of the education industry. An SEO agency for schools, on the other hand, focuses exclusively on optimizing online visibility for educational institutions. Here’s why choosing a specialized agency makes a difference:
1. Industry-Specific Keyword Research
Parents may search for phrases like “best CBSE school near me” or “top-rated primary school in [city].” A dedicated agency knows how to identify and incorporate such keywords effectively to draw local and relevant traffic to your website.
2. Content Tailored for Education
Content is king in SEO. An agency with educational expertise can create blogs, landing pages, and web copy that resonate with your target audience. Whether it's writing about your curriculum, achievements, or admission processes, the content is crafted to drive engagement and conversions.
3. Local SEO for Enhanced Visibility
Most parents look for schools within a specific locality or city. An SEO agency for schools excels at optimizing your Google My Business listing, local citations, and map listings to boost your school’s visibility in local search results.
4. Reputation Management
Online reviews and ratings significantly impact parental decisions. SEO professionals help you monitor and manage your school’s online reputation across platforms like Google, Facebook, and education-specific directories.
5. Optimized Technical Architecture
Slow-loading websites, broken links, or poor mobile responsiveness can harm your SEO rankings. Specialized agencies audit your website and fix technical SEO issues to ensure it meets Google’s performance standards.
Key Services Offered by an SEO Agency for Schools
An SEO agency for schools typically offers a comprehensive suite of services, including:
Website Audit & Optimization: Checking site structure, speed, mobile responsiveness, and security.
Keyword Research: Identifying high-performing keywords specific to the education sector.
Content Creation: Blog posts, articles, landing pages, and admission-related FAQs.
Local SEO: Google My Business optimization, map listing, and location-based keywords.
On-page and Off-page SEO: Meta tags, internal linking, backlink building, and more.
Performance Tracking: Monthly reports, traffic analysis, and conversion tracking.
Real Results: What Schools Gain from SEO
Implementing a robust SEO strategy through a professional agency leads to measurable results:
Higher Enrollment Rates: More visibility equals more inquiries and admissions.
Improved Online Presence: Strong search rankings establish credibility.

Backlinks: The Unseen Force Driving Your Website's Success
In the dynamic world of online visibility, backlinks are foundational to your website's success. Simply put, a backlink is a vote of confidence: it's when one website links to another. Think of it like a digital endorsement; if a well-respected site links to your content, it signals to search engines like Google that your information is valuable, trustworthy, and authoritative. The more high-quality backlinks you accumulate, the higher your website is likely to rank in search results, bringing more organic traffic your way.
Not all backlinks are created equal, though. A link from a highly authoritative and relevant website carries significantly more weight than one from a low-quality or irrelevant source. The real goal isn't just to get links, but to build a portfolio of high-quality, relevant, and natural backlinks.
Why Backlinks are Crucial for Your Online Presence
Search engine algorithms are complex, but backlinks have consistently remained a critical ranking factor for several compelling reasons:
Improved Search Rankings: Quality backlinks are a strong indicator of your website's authority and relevance, directly influencing its position in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).
Increased Organic Traffic: Higher rankings mean better visibility, which translates directly into more clicks and visitors finding your website through search engines.
Faster Content Discovery: Search engine crawlers navigate the web by following links. Backlinks help these crawlers discover and index your new content more quickly, getting it into the search results faster.
Referral Traffic: Beyond the SEO benefits, a well-placed backlink on a popular, relevant website can also drive direct referral traffic, bringing interested visitors straight to your site.
Smart Strategies for Earning Quality Backlinks
Building a strong backlink profile requires strategic effort and a commitment to providing excellent content. Here are some effective and ethical ways to earn them:
Create Exceptional Content: This is your starting point. Produce in-depth guides, original research, compelling infographics, or truly unique articles that genuinely help or entertain your audience. If your content stands out, others will naturally want to link to it.
Guest Posting on Reputable Sites: Offer to write high-quality articles for other websites in your industry. In exchange, you'll usually get a backlink to your site within your author bio or directly within the content. Focus on sites with engaged audiences and strong domain authority.
Broken Link Building: Use tools to find broken links on other websites. Then, reach out to the website owner, let them know about the broken link, and suggest your relevant content as a perfect replacement. It's a win-win: they fix a problem, and you get a valuable backlink.
The Skyscraper Technique: Find popular content in your niche that has already attracted many backlinks. Then, create an even better, more comprehensive, and up-to-date piece of content on the same topic. Finally, reach out to the websites that linked to the original content and present your superior version.
Engage in Digital PR: If you have news, research, or a unique story, consider reaching out to relevant online publications and journalists. Earning mentions and links from news sites can provide significant authority.
What to Steer Clear Of
It's crucial to avoid "black hat" SEO tactics like buying backlinks, participating in link farms, or using automated link schemes. These practices are against search engine guidelines and can lead to severe penalties, harming your website's ranking and reputation. Focus on earning links naturally through valuable content and ethical outreach.
Building a robust backlink profile is an ongoing process that demands patience and consistent effort. By prioritizing valuable content and employing smart, ethical outreach strategies, you can significantly boost your website's authority, drive more organic traffic, and secure its long-term success in search engines.
