I like Wuthering Heights because it basically says, "Yeah, you can have a soul mate. But he's basically the worst. That says a lot about you." Like all the other soul mate shit presents the idea that you have your perfect other half. Nuh uh. Your other half is gonna be exactly as rotten as you. And it's gonna piss you off. John Walker gives me poorly trained guard dog vibes.

like he was given a task and he’s gonna do it. It’s just… he wasn’t trained the right way. He gets the job done but now they’re saying it’s not right. It’s not safe. What do you mean? You should have told him the right way the first time!

And I think that’s a lot of where his anger comes from.

He will listen to commands(Bucky correcting him when he moved to pull his gun on Val) and he liked praise(the girls jokingly praising his gun) but he gets mixed signals a lot. That can be frustrating.
