Now that Fizz and Blitzo seem to be on the path of making up, I need someone to do a redraw of this scene from The Owl House. Just change the grammar to be more in-character and have Fizz accidentally send Blitzo a pic of one of the quieves.

Do you agree that helluva boss is a male obsessed show?

Oh my goodness I was literally writing an essay on this that I may or may not post to YouTube at some point in life!! Anyway, buckle your seatbelt because this will be long.

So I wouldn't call it male obsessed, more that it has a very obvious favoritism to certain characters. Mainly who I call the Big Four (Blitz, Stolas, Moxxie, and Fizz).

Because of this favoritism, our women characters (mostly Millie but sometimes Loona) get less of a spotlight than they should. This has been a problem since season 1 and I will not pretend that it's not.

HOWEVER, even though it's mostly women who suffer this problem, the show also has this problems with the men outside the Big Four. Read: Ozzie and Striker.

NOW BEFORE THE FIZZAROZZIE FANS COME AT ME, hear me out. Ozzie suffers the exact same problem Millie does as while Fizz gets the spotlight, Ozzie is often reduced to his loving supportive partner. Which isn't inherently a bad thing, but like Millie we know very little of what Ozzie is like outside of being Fizz's partner. Like Millie, he's the more well adjusted half, he's a badass, he's powerful. But we don't know anything else about him. Like Millie, everything we know about Ozzie so far correlates back to Fizz. Even him being talented in robotics translates back to Fizz.

And like I have in my essay, yes he and Fizz have only been in three episodes. But at the same time, there has also only been around three Moxxie centric episodes, and the rest of the time he and Millie are off being wholesome with neither getting character development.

Striker also suffers this issue as despite the fact that he's also been in three episodes, we can still safely say we know almost nothing about him. He's implied to have a tragic backstory and has major hypocrisy issues, but that's kind of it. Which isn't bad for his first two appearances, but for him to be in three episodes and we only know a tiny bit more about him now as we did in his first appearance is a bit of an issue.

I'm not saying that Striker and Ozzie need a character centric episode (although Millie DEFINITELY does), but like a lot of the women in Helluva they need to be able to stand up as their own characters rather than the story's plot device.

So to say that Helluva Boss ONLY has this problem with women is a bit unfair. Don't get me wrong, the women definitely suffer this problem the most and Helluva REALLY needs to fix this. However, it does need to be noted that ANY character outside the Big Four have this issue, not JUST women.

That's why I say I don't think it's "male obsessed", more that it's "Big Four Obsessed," because every character, including other men, suffer a severe underdevelopment in favor for those four.

Now to end it on a positive note, what Helluva does with these four, it does REALLY well. But there's so much focus on them that other characters are often reduced to plot devices that either keep the Big Four from being cold, emotionless people (Ozzie, Millie, Via, and Loona), or are the bad guys for them to defeat (Striker, Stella, and MAYBE Crimson). (I only include Crim because Vivziepop has implied that Crim genuinely thinks he's a good dad.)

Ozzie is fully capable of impregnating others and becoming pregnant, but even in 6,000 years, he’s never once had any kids. 

Occasionally, he lays an egg that is unfertilized. He usually disposes of it in various ways, mostly giving it to the twins. He assumes they eat it, but he’s never asks and has no intention of it.

As far as never impregnating anyone goes, his dick is generally too big and when he comes inside someone, it’s way too high up. 

Never getting pregnant has to do with the size of his vagina and the space between the entrance and where his eggs are. Most of his partners are drastically smaller than he is, and his body kills the sperm before it is capable of getting him pregnant.

When he starts dating Fizz, after the removal of his horns, he is fully capable of going all the way inside of him. They have quite a few sessions where Olli fucks him inside of him, and even has a face mask made for his nose so he can just be in there.

As such, his sperm is the closest to Ozzie’s eggs than anyone else’s has ever been. 

Ozzie is thoroughly shocked to find out that he’s pregnant, but sees the signs early on when there is more than one egg and they aren’t laid on schedule. 

The first clutch is three eggs, and when he lays them, he sits on them for a few days while they wait on an incubator to arrive and be put together. Even still, he sits on them and Fizzarolli from time to time because it helps his anxiety. 

Being a parent is suddenly a terrifying thing because he’s never done it. He doesn’t usually like kids much, but he loves Olli enough to give it a try with him.

Fizz: Oh, things have been great since I quit working for Mammon! I've only had to feed Ozzie one stalker this week.

With Blitzo finally making some money as a hitman, you'd think things would be going good for him and Fizz. Unfortunately, things take a turn.

Sometime after Fizz starts working for Mammon, he gets acquainted with another Sin: Asmodeus. Fizz is honest with Blitzo about this and try as Blitzo might to not be bothered by it, his jealousy continues to grow. There's an unsolved tension in the air as the two continue to try to make things work. Blitzo starts to have the fear that Fizz is gonna leave him for someone better. He throws himself into his work. Into partying on weekends.

After some time, Blitzo gets the idea to expand his business to killing humans. He goes over this plan with Fizz, initially thinking about having Fizz get an Asmodean crystal off of Ozzie. However, Fizz brings up that Blitzo could always ask that old friend of his. The blue blood owl guy he met as a kid. Blitzo initially blows him off, but then he starts thinking about it and rather than going with Fizz's idea of simply asking, Blitzo still takes the route of breaking and entering with intent to steal.

Not sure if Blitzo would still sleep with Stolas here. I could see at as in-character of him, but I also see where people don't like those kind of scenarios, especially with their faves (I know I personally don't). That being said, it's at this point that things start to boil over between Blitzo and Fizz. Ultimately, they have to face the cruel reality that they weren't meant to be. They both realize that while they love each other, they aren't compatible anymore. It's time for them to move on. For them to explore their options.

And that's pretty much what I've been thinking about. There's a lot that wasn't covered, but this is the gist of what's on my mind. I know I didn't go over how Moxxie, Millie, Loona, or Verosika would play into this. Maybe I'll have a better idea when we get more timelines confirmed. But if anyone wants to use this idea, they are more than welcome to do so.

Fizzmodeus Prompts

Hey everyone. Here are a list of prompts/summaries that I can envision for Fizzmodeus that anyone is free to use! Be it for fanfic, art, edits, etc. You are free to take these prompts and change them however you see fit. Anyway, here they are:

-Fizz is sold off to become Mammon's concubine due to how popular he is. However, he starts winning the heart of Asmodeus, who (after the two grow closer) wants Fizz to become his bride. OPTIONAL: Fizz still loses his limbs. You could even have that it's due to his loss of limbs that he's been relegated to concubine status.

-Ozzie gifts Fizz stuffed/toy frogs. That's it. That's the prompt.

-"Are you sure? I'm pretty high maintenance." A line said by Fizz that could be used for a Long Distance Relationship AU in which Fizz and Ozzie meet online and talk to each other online before formally seeing each other (Fizz uses his tail to type; or if you wanna make this a Human AU, it could be text to speech/any other method you can think of). On the surface this line can be taken as Fizz being a diva (which he still is). Under the surface, however, he's worried about a future partner being brought down into being his caregiver cuz he knows he has a lot of needs.

-Blitzo asks Fizz what he does with his bird partner's feathers cuz Blitzo keeps coughing up leftover feathers from Stolas. Fizz answers that he likes to collect Ozzie's fallen feathers and make them into a pillow.

-Mad Scientist AU in which Asmodeus is a mad scientist and Fizz is the MC of Ozzie's Show Stopping Springer Galore! (or Ozzie's for short.) Asmodeus comes from a noble family and it's those family funds that help operate many of his experiments (he's even experimented on himself; OPTIONAL: you could make it so that's how he has 3 heads in this AU). Ozzie likes to have a show put on for his many inventions and experiments. He probably allows for others to show off their own inventions too.

-You've heard of Fizz feeling vulnerable/safe enough to show Ozzie his scars and broken horns. Now get ready for Ozzie feeling vulnerable/safe enough to show Fizz a more monstrous form of his. (No this is not me wanting more monstrous Ozzie with Fizz. What gave you that idea..../hides)

-Potential follow-up to that last one: monstrous Ozzie going on a rampage, only to be soothed by Fizz.

Fic Previews - Rock My World

So, tonight I started Rock My World, and Fizz delivers some excellent lines, but this bit of inner monolog he had just really took the cake for me. I love it very much, so I decided to share. Openly Fizzarozzie here, but this bit it's only implied.
