Appearances for the GG rivals au character.

I am no artist, so these will simply be written descriptions with a few images thrown in here and there. These are all subject to change at any time, as well, since this is still in its early planning stages.

For Gem, I imagine she looks a lot like in this gorgeous fanart, except her dress has slits up the side to allow for easier movement and her hair is a low bun with a braid wrapping around the front of her head, like this.

Scott and Impulse wear armour similar to how applestruda draws it in her au, with their cloths in shades of teal and yellow. Scott, I like to imagine, has long, back length hair, that he wears down and covering one eye. Impulse has shortly cropped hair and two little nubby horns that are tipped in black, as well as sharp clawed hands. Scott's teeth are sharp; no one quite knows why.

Grian's eyes are entirely black like a barn owl's and his hands end in sharp talons rather than nails. He doesn't have wings, not anymore at least. He wears a high collared red tunic and brown trousers, but both are rarely seen past the heavy, ankle length, black cloak he hides himself under, which is held closed by a silver brooch in the shape of an eye. The cloak has a hood but he never wears it. He always seems to be sliming, whether that smile is devious or genuine is up for debate. The brooch looks something like this, minus the blue center and the circlular details

Scar wears a similar black cloak, held closed by the same brooch, though he wears his with the hood up, and it has red flower detailing on the hem (so, similiar to his secret life look but its a full cloak). His eyes are still green, though, and he has a single grey streak in his brown hair. His tunic and trousers under the cloak are both black and he wears his shirt just a little bit too open at the top. He also always wears a smile, but pretty much everyone can agree it is deceptively kind.

Mumbo and Etho wear matching outfits, claiming it is professional since they share a job, but it is something they choose to do not something that is required of them (they are just silly, really). I imagine they are simple outfits consisting of white tunics with black trousers and thick, leather aprons on top (mumbo's is red and etho's is green). They both wear goggles and thick gloves, as well as chunky boots, all for safety since they work with explosives. Etho wears a black bandana on his lower his face. His goggles replace his headband in this look, being what keeps his hair out of his face. His scared eye is missing entirely; he does not have a false eye, it is just an empty socket. Mumbo wears his goggles around his neck when they are not on his face.

Bdubs dresses similarly, minus the apron and goggles, since he works out in the garder. His shirt is white, and he has brown trousers. Over that he wears a thick cloak that is almost always covered in some manner of flora and/or mud. He completes the look with a wide brimmed hat to protect him from the sun.

Cleo is also dresses similarly to Etho and Mumbo but her apron is a plain brown that is stained with soot. Her tunic sleeves are always rolled up to show off her strong arms and she doesn't wear her safety gloves nearly as much as she should, and she forgoes eye protection entirely. One of her eyes is missing (surprisingly not related to the lack of protective wear), replaced with a glass eye of a slightly different shade of green than her organic eye. Her hair is pulled into a much messier bun than Gem's, with frizzy stray hairs going every direction.

Ren and Martyn look like how they are typically drawn in third life fanart. Ren's eyes are red, as well as blood shot, and he almost always appears angry.

Pearl wears a white tunic with flared sleeves tucked into a pair of high waisted black trousers. Over this she has a deep, red cloak that stops at her waist. She has a crescent moon shaped birth mark on the left side of her face. She carries a sword around her waist. Her hair is always down and messy under her hood.

Bigb just looks like a baker, I am not sure how to describe it. But he always seems to have flour stains on his clothes no matter how hard he tries to wipe it off. Big strong arms for him as well.

Skizz wears the same armour as Scott and impulse, and his underclothes are black. The sleeves of his tunic are ripped off and he does not wear his gauntlets. He refuses to elaborate on why. He is a dove avian.

Tango wears a short sleeved red tunic and black trousers with big chunky boots. His hands are clawed, and his ears are pointed; both are tipped in a red to black gradient. His eyes are entirely red. He has a long tail that ends in a tuff of fire that doesn't seem to have any real heat.

Jimmy wears a blue tunic with a brown vest over it. Brown trousers and chunky boots. His sleeves are always rolled up and he is always covered in some manner of dirt, both because of the work he does on the farm, and from being very clumsy. He has bull horns, one of which is chipped. He also has a tail.

I still don't have set roles for joel and lizzie just yet so they do not have designs in mind either, unfortunately.

Ayy leprechaun oc’s. They are similar to the felt (homestuck) but instead of being based around billiard balls they are based around the flowers of the months. They also each have their own ability/juju and their lives are connected to their corresponding flowers.

Long explanation below :D

Carvy- He is based around the carnation which is Januarys flower. His ability is referred to as “monster” which inclines that he has a monster form. This monster form only takes place during moments of strong angry or rage. For Carvy this is simple because he is quick to anger, however his ability may sound cool but it’s very painful for him. During the transformation into monster Carvy it breaks his bones and pushes them outwards to make a sort of spike shield. Once his anger has run out his bones fix and pop back into place, but it makes him sick afterwards.

Vio/Lito- Vio and Lito are twins and they’re both based around the Violet. Which is Februarys flower. They no longer have an ability but at one point is was labeled as “division” meaning they can spilt their molecules apart to make an identical version of themselves. However after an accident they can no longer use it. Now being referred to as the gunners. As now they only use weapons.

Daffon- He is based around the daffodil which is marchs flower. His ability is referred to as sticky which is pretty self explanatory. He’s palms as well as the soles of his feet have sticky pads that can hold onto any surface. He is also pretty quiet which make it easier to sneak up on people.

Dulce- He is based around the sweet pea which is April’s flower. His ability is referred to as “poison” which is also self explanatory. As it suggests dulce secretes poison from his skin. But that’s not all because most of the liquid in his body contains poison. His blood, tears and spit all contain poison. At the start he did feel discomfort from the poison in his body. But over time he grew use to it.

Garder- He is based around an hawthorn which is mays flower. He doesn’t have an ability because he doesn’t need one. He’s the gang’s gardener and doctor. He’s very skilled in many things such as sewing, brewing, cooking, and combat. He usually has a dead tone attitude and tone but he means well.

Rono- He’s based around an rose which Junes flower. His ability is referred to as thorn. Which makes thorns in his skin as a type of defense mechanism. He acts very flamboyant and is close friends with lilino.

Lilino- He’s based around an lily pad which is July’s flower. His ability is called wave. Which makes it to where he can move his body in ways a normal individual couldn’t do. It’s a flowing motion kinda like water.

Pip- He’s based around an poppy which is august flower. His ability is only referred to as pop which can kinda be deceiving. He cannot make big explosions but only tiny ones which doesn’t do a whole lot of damage. But he does make bombs on his own. (After learning from garder)

Amotise- She’s based around an aster which is Septembers flower. She doesn’t have an ability. She has 3 prosthetics, two legs and an arm. The arm can shot out stings that are extremely hard to break and can leave individuals trapped for a long while. Though the strings can be broken in a certain way that only she and the other members know.

Majorno- He’s based around an marigold which is October’s flower. His ability is called ghost which is pretty self explanatory on what it does. But, to put it in a simple way he has the ability to speak to the dead. He also has a wide respect to the dead which makes him more in touch with his ability.

Pilino- He’s based around an peony which is Novembers flower. His ability is called chameleon which once again is pretty self explanatory. But, it means he can blend in with his surroundings extremely well. As if he just turned invisible.

Hollver- He’s based around holly which is Decembers flower. He has both an ability and juju. His juju being used the most. His juju are bells that have the flowers of the other members on the. Once he rings one he swaps places with the corresponding member. His ability however is called frost. Which may be self explanatory but it means whenever they touch something with their bare hands it immediately freezes into ice.

That will conclude may little Oc rant. But be warned I may change things over time.

Deux semaines de suite avec une newsletter de cinéma incroyable mais vrai. On va essayer de garder le rythme/

Magic Mike XXL - Internet - 1h55 - 💪🤠🇺🇸🩲

Alors là attention c'est du film d'auteur intellectualisant, pas vos trucs habituels où on est juste là pour regarder des gens se déhancher en petite tenue... J'rigole.

Si vous avez raté le premier, pas de soucis étant donné que c'est grosso modo le même film. Mike ancien stripteaseur (joué par Channing Tatum ancien stripteaseur, vous l'avez?) a du mal à faire tourner son entreprise de déménageur (pas) bretons. Ses copains avant de passer à autre chose parce qu'ils prennent de l'âge se rendent à une convention de striptease pour un baroud d'honneur. Du coup Mike va se joindre à eux parce qu'on aime bien les gens musclés et la sueur. S'en suit un roadtrip d'environ 2h à travers l'ouest américain afin de recruter des gens et de trouver des idées. Comme le premier en dehors des scènes de danses (très très chastes pour un film sur le striptease) qui sont bien filmées le film oscille entre... Oubliable et navet. Visiblement Tatum a un truc à raconter sur la fin de l'innocence de l’Amérique mais en réalité c'est assez peu intéressant à regarder. On a principalement vu ce film pour se préparer au troisième volet réalisé par Steven Soderbergh ce qui fait au moins lever un sourcil. 5/10

Oh une pièce de théâtre

Mon crime - Canal+ - 1h42 - 🔫🇫🇷🎭

Si comme moi vous avez été élevé dans une famille de cinéphiles en France il y a de bonnes chances que vous ayez vu un film de François Ozon. Le réalisateur de 56 ans est quand même auteur d'environ 50 films (si le mot environ vous fait tiquer parlez en avec moi vous découvrirez le monde fascinant des crédits) dont 8 femmes, la piscine... Ici on adapte une pièce de théâtre sur des thèmes féministes. On lève une oreille pour en savoir plus.

Face a un parterre de stars plus ou moins ancienne (Danny Boon, Luccini, Isabelle Huppert...) deux jeunes actrices (Nadia Tereszkiewicz et Rebecca Marder) crèvent l'écran. L'histoire assez vaudeville à base de cliché sur l'appropriation d'un crime ne casse pas trois pattes à un canard mais se lève suivre. Le vrai problème est que s'agissant de l'adaptation d'une pièce il ne se passe pas grand chose. En dehors des 3-4 scènes présentent dans la bande annonce on n'est jamais face à un vrai suspens et on regrette que le film ne démarre jamais vraiment. Bref ça aurait pu être vraiment bien, au final c'est pas si mal.

Que c'est long messieurs que c'est long...

Killers of the Flower Moon - Cinéma - 3h26 - 🤠🇺🇸₹

Martin Scorcese malgré ses obsessions un peu malsaine pour les gangsters et les criminels a été un grand réalisateur. La question maintenant qu'irrémédiablement il se rapproche de la fin de sa carrière, l'est-il encore?

Après avoir pondu pour Netflix un film de 3h29 au delà du caricatural (Robert de Niro 76 ans rajeunit numériquement jouant un jeune homme de 20 ans, ridicule et risible) démontrait que le rôle de producteur est essentiel dans le cinéma américain (par exemple pour ramener un film de 3h29 qui n'a rien à dire à un film de 2h disons). Ici on repart sur plus de 3h mais au cinéma avec un scénario adapté d'un super bouquin de David Grann et ça change tout.

Déjà c'est le premier film que j'ai vu en iMax (grande salle, grand écran) et c'était un bon choix. La photo est incroyable, les images de l'ouest américains s’enchaînent comme autant de tableaux. Le scénario est une "simple" observation du mal absolu puisque l'on suit une conspiration de petits bras visant à extorquer un peuple déjà exploité de la chance qu'il a eu. Di Caprio, acteur fétiche de Scorcese joue avec les dents très serrées ce qui pendant une bonne heure est assez déroutant. Mais on rentre dans le film et surtout pour la seule raison qui fait qu'on retourne au cinéma, pour retrouver cette sensation, on voyage et on s'oublie dans un univers.

Marigold, my Solar System fanchild ;3

Info time:

She uses the nickname "Maggie" and not "Mari". The only people that call her Mari are or strangers (to which Maggie immediately corrects them) or her grandparents (Sunny and Kel/Jo parents). Maggie doesn't like it very much but she doesn't say anything.

Here the Solar System is all lesbian with Sunny (she keeps her name), Kel/Jo (For the Orange Joe) and Basil/Parsley (From the fandom in general) trans girl.

Her flower is the Daisy.

She often wears her hair down but ties it time to time when, for example, helps her Uncle Hero as a hospital volunteer, helps her Ma (Parsley) gardering, plays basketball with her Momma (Jo), helps her mom (Sunny) at the vet, helps her Mama (Aubrey) with the house (I can't think of any profession for Aubrey)...

But her favorite hobby is mechanics and everything that it has to do with creating things (especially metal). She is very handy at it and the whole house is full of her inventions/projects.

Her clothes are white dress with a yellow t-shirt. She always carries spare clothes with her in a backpack (White with sunflowers) just in case...
