The V.A.N.N.I network is no ordinary Simulation.
The V.A.N.N.I mask isn't just a hollow gram. Theory. I Believe that the V.A.N.N.I mask, that Cassie wears, is supernatural. I do have a few evidence, as theories. So, the first thing you'll notice right away when putting on this mask. It'll transform the environment around you.
Showing the cracks, and the digital illusions. That looks like in certain area's shows you the power surging inside the walls, where the ports are. And it has the heat vision, to see the robot's all around you.
And where they are hidden. It even shows the parts that are missing, used to be there. That the mask has special technology, to render in. There's already a rumor that the mask, such as the user sees, they will see that the mask tempers with it. That is where things get complicated, with calculated terms.
Such as, when Cassie put's on the mask, she sees visions, such as a photo graph or a structure, or plushies that she is familier with. Represents her memories, and friendship, that she made with Roxanne wolf. There is one soda machiene that shows Roxy's picture located in Monty Golf.
That there is a soda machine near the broken Golf course, that show's Monty's picture in front. If she put's the mask on, and looks at it again, the picture will change into Roxy's. So that is proof, that the mask, somehow show's the memories of the user, who uses it.
So, that is the top speculation. The obvious speculation, of what you see in the environment, that they are illusions. The objects, or the environmental change, is fake. There's that one.
So, lastly...Or next thing, is the supernatural. There's still so much theory as to say, how is the Mask is doing that? Such as, walking through objects. The ones, that you see are hollow grammed, but are solid, that you could walk through them.
And those, that do not look hollow grammed, but you can walk through them. And that the fact, that you could hear voices as well.
Not really sure what they mean? Is the general theory. But of course, the mask is much more to it, (Or powerful wise.) With what it can do. But, not how it does that? This gadget thing...Is proven not to be an ordinary thing.
Which, could also mean. (My theory.) Is that, in the Pizza Plex. The things that you do see, or use. That are rare, are not real. Or 'fake' objects for some reason. That existed in the main game. But, couldn't be found without the Mask. Or, another thought, I had, that those hollow grams, inside the Pizza Plex, did exist.
But you can't see it with the naked eye. It's sounds crazy. But maybe some of those structures, such as one of those Monty seats, that were one of them. Were hollow grams, but we just didn't notice it?
Playing as Gregory, he would have walked through a door, that must of been a 'fake' one. But, just didn't notice it.
So, at the beginning of the game, the first 10 minutes of it, you'll see a hollowgram. I'm just gonna call it a 'Glitching' yellow box. That it physically blocks you, without the mask, but you can walk through it when you do.
That is an object, that might be one of those 'solid' boxes that are...The fake ones, or copies. And you can walk through those ones, but you can't walk through the real ones.
Although, I do have another theory, about those real/fake objects. That...Maybe they might be real, but the mask detects it as a pathway. Or something, and it turns it into a hollow gram. And another one, with the Monty Golf, Light house floaty thing.
It had the same effect. And it feels like a real object. And the masks detects it, and turns it a 'Glitch' giving it the glitched affect. And when you put on the mask. You are able to walk through.
This glitchy theory sounds a bit confusing with that one. But, it's still very strange. This is the part, where I find the most mysterious with this Supernatural thing, where this object doesn't appear as a 'Glitch.'. It is certainly real. I think it is, because. It didn't appear like that.
This would be for a few certain things. But, the main one. Or ones (s) Even the ones, that are not real. Stops you? The main one, that is the real object, is the big Monty seat. It had no 'Glitched' affect on it. It looked totally regular.
And this is the one, that's the most....One of the most puzzling ones. Is that, when the mask transform's that piece to walk right through it. It enables Cassie to go through. And that's the one with the Catwalks as well.
It's like as if, you are walking around with superpowers. That is the part, where you activate those invisible catwalks, and walk above them. With out falling through.
There is no way, any mask with digital scenery can unlock, or create a hidden pathway. (Or like reveal the path. ) Because it's all about seeing things you can't see.
And that, it can open up a portal inside the Mouth, of the Gator. I believe, that the Catwalk was the most activated location to use the Mask, and it's secretive unlocking powers. And Cassie, was able to walk through that. It's like as if, she's traveling between two barries though each other to another location.
And that, is how Vanny when she first appeared, was seen. Hopping along the 'Pick up' line, from the back of the Daycare entry, then disappeared into thin air. I'm thinking that. The mask is more powerful, than showing what you can see. In comparison, that those cannot.
Referring to my quick theory, that the illusions in the Pizza Plex, does exist. In order to see them, is to wear the Mask. Or that, the Mask can summon those pathways with what it can see. Through it's advanced technology. Enabling you the ability to travel through the Map. In places that are usually, and visibly inaccessible.
Now, onto the voices. It is believed, and that for many, that the voices you hear, are the voices, from past event's during Gregory's journey. And Cassie in the Ruin, are hearing them. The specific location, that I found that is the spookiest, is inside the Daycare.
Indeed, you'll hear those voices of the Children, that used to be there before. But what, is most disturbing, and sad about. Is the history, that unfolded with that. The one that links up with the News paper, about a young boy. Being reported, to have been traumatized, by both Sun and Moon.
That again, I don't Sun intentionally meant that. Because, bear in mind that the Virus, is responsible for bringing out, the worst out of them. And, I posted a theory before this.
That, I have said, that it must of been, a miss understanding from the boy. That must of been the after math. When he saw Sun, believing him being the monster. After, being Moon. And changing back. If you listen closely, you'll hear a boy's scream.
That sounds significantly, like the boy that has happened. That happened in the past. But further on, what makes this more than just the past. Is that you'll often hear children's laughter.
And other ghost voices, that usually. Hypothetically, being used as a haunting. This gives these eventful memories, a possible relation with haunting.
The daycare, (Including other locations.) That has the ghostly whispers, are haunted. And that, with the connection of Sun being trapped in that realm. He would be hearing those children's voices, on and on. If he was available.
And lastly, the fake things, becoming real. It's not the hollow grams, I'm talking about the things you activate. And can see. The Giant Endo skeleton, is the big one. And also including the ones, in the Daycare how you put on the mask.
And the star's light up. There's also the road, in Roxy race way, that's been broken down, with the lights off. Can turn back on. And especially, with that ball. I'm not sure, if you know this.
There is this black ball that looks like a pool table ball. Or a soft ball, weight thing. Up in the Atrium roof, at first, it looks like to be a regular ball with nothing going through it.
But, if you put the mask on, and look at it again, you'll see some circuits flowing into it, as if it still has electricity flowing into it. And if it has some kind of purpose with it, or not. (Probably, not.)
The thing, that I find the most mysterious, weird. About, and also very suspicious about it. With how it is affecting Helpy. Is the activating things. There's been a few of them, that in the fake world, operating the real world. Yet, it should not be possible.
Such as the screen, beside the Daycare, with the Two offices beside it. The Roxy's statue. But most Importantly...The Giant Endo. How the hell did that thing wind up there? Where the hell, did it come from?
And, what's so weird, is that. Even though they spawn in the digital world, but the affects of them, connecting into the real world. So, going inside it's mouth, took Cassey down into a vent from the Theatre, and into the basement of the Fazer blast. It literally took you, all the way across the Pizza Plex!
And, with the way, it spawned. Walking into it, it's so physical. It's structure looks legit. Kind of. What is happening here? Is the Mask creating some kind of structure, it builds to connect into the real world? Like this seems the only thing to describe it.
But, can't explain. Ans what's so suspicious about it, is when Heli said, "Oh, it's only in your head. There's nothing to worry about!" Really, Helpi? And how much of this thing, we don't know much about...Nothing to worry about?
So, pretty much. This mask...I think, while the general idea of it, being a digital simulation. But, of all the things it can summon, unlock, spawn, stuff like that. There's so much going on deeper with this thing, that is shrouded with mystery.
That it's not only, used to see things the normal eye can't. It is also supernatural, and harness powers, to travel through things. That it might actually be turning these things into the 'Glitches.'
And break them down. and is connected to the afterlife. It may even manipulate that too. That may be one of those powers, it uses to travel.
Like what the developers said in their main description, is to travel intro the world of the unnatural. It was something along the lines of that. It is...Like many video games, was a hint hidden in the description. Implemented into the game.

Th353u5 and the Appraiser [FNAF, Renegade AU]

The Renegade AU reboots the Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex books so that they fit into this AU's timeline whilst also following my primary theories on the material.
TFTP gets a more heavy reboot and follows the TalesVRWorld theory, putting those events into a VR environment due to 1 - how a lot of it is incompatible with how the rest of my AU runs due to my more compact timeframe, and 2 - I personally believe that TalesVRWorld is more likely than talesgames. The Renegade AU also uses the FrightsSlander theory, and that gets elaborated on quite a bit here.
The TalesVRWorld theory stipulates that the TFTPP stories are in a VR environment that is run by Fazbear Entertainment. This system is likely linked to both the MOE system and VANNI network.
The Renegade AU  follows a diegetic TalesVRWorld+FrightsSlander combination where the events of TFTPP are literally lab reports turned into marketable stories. The real megaplex is far too underfunded for even a quarter of anything in these books, and a 3D model costs infinitely less than a building, let's just say.
Also, following FrightsSlander, the regular Fazbears Frights books exist in universe too and are Faz Ent's attempts to slander many of its victims, painting the victims as the bad guys; not everyone depicted was as bad or did half the stuff Faz Ent claims they did.
Frights = slandering Faz Ent's real world victims. Tales = cover-up stories for experiments in the VR environment.
This Renegade series starts with Frailty.
More specifically, the events in the real world that lead up to Faz Ent publishing a specific incident from their VR environment that they could have just as easily swept under the rug.
Faz Ent had made a digital clone of Sarah using the remnant from her original body. Faz Ent also gave this virtual clone the fashion sense and post-incident personality of Millie. This virtual clone was then put into Faz Ent's VR environment and put through the same 'experiment' that Eleanor Talbert had put Sarah through.
Whilst Faz Ent was preparing this experiment to be run in the VR environment, people were moving on with their lives in the real world.
In the aftermath of the half-truths that Faz Ent had chronicled and published in 'To Be Beautiful' and 'Count The Ways', Millie and Sarah had begun to repair their reputations.
Sarah, whilst scrap metal, has come to terms with her new form and has mastered it. She feels like parts of herself are missing, but she feels like that's normal given her situation. And Millie had also survived her own ordeal, losing a hand in keeping her life, and also finding love from someone in the 'normie' crowd, branding her as a hypocrite in the public eye, but never regretting surviving.
The only thing that Faz Ent had left at their disposal to hurt Sarah and Millie was this digital clone that lived in the virtual world. So Faz Ent published that experiment report in hopes that it'd further damage the girls reputations again, but the fate of Sarah's remnant fuelled virtual clone, the aftermath of Faz Ent's publication of the experiment, and the reconciliation between the girl and her virtual clone will be for another day.
Note: ghost induced paranoia, ghost induced chronic pain, and other ghost induced medical conditions mentioned in this story (and others) are legitimate medical conditions in the world of the Renegade AU. It's just that there are only two or three psychologists and doctors worldwide who will diagnose someone with a ghost induced variant of a condition. So due to not being in contact with anyone who  would diagnose them, the characters in this story only have a half understanding of thier conditions, and that understanding is 'a ghost is making me experience this physical/mental condition to an amplified degree'.
=°•.🌹 Story 🌹.•°=
°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•🌹•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°
"Teen survives getting hit by a car unscathed after pushing a child out of the vehicles path," a newscaster said with no particular emotion, "gets up, and walks away. Onlookers said she momentarily looked like a pile of scrap metal-"
Millie Fitzsimmons, Antiques appraiser, turned down the volume on the television that sat mounted up on the wall in view of the main desk as she heard the bell on the door to her antiques and thrift shop ring.
"Care to explain why you're on the news again?" Millie huffed as her metal prosthetic hand drummed on her desk. "You know Faz Ent has already dragged our names through the mud."
"Not my fault people don't notice me. It was a zebra crossing! And they'd have hit the kid if I didn't dive in the way," Sarah rationalised as she set her arm - or more accurately the scrap metal that represented it - back into place, "besides, nobody was hurt in the end. And after that dead girl's family sued the pants off of Faz Ent for depicting their dead daughter's ghost like that, it's not like they'll drag ME through the mud using my real name again."
"But the whole town now has a hunch that you're not human." Millie pinched the bridge of her nose in sheer bewilderment. "That is bad."
"Yeah… But do you have any scrap?" Quick to change the subject, Sarah shifted the topic to why she came in through the front door instead of chilling in the back, "I kinda lost some in the crash and other parts got broken, so I need some replacements. Any scrap will do."
"You left proof that you're not human. At the scene." Millie replied, dumbfounded and concerned.
"Not the first time."
With a disappointed huff, Millie stood up and walked out from behind her desk, black and purple dress swishing, almost brushing the floor, as she walked. "I've got some old crap that would have gotten tossed out otherwise." She came to a halt near Sarah and sized up what scrap she'd need. "It's in the back. I have a box with what you need."
"Cool." Sarah smiled as she followed Millie into the familiar back of the shop. This place was like Sarah's second home. After all, when your secondary education is interrupted by a robot replacing every part of you with scrap, people don't seem to want to hire you as an adult, so it's hard to find a place to stay, so why not bum off your goth girlfriend's hospitality.
"The only reason I keep all this scrap and don't melt it down myself is because I know you'll need it," Millie said as she scoured the shelves for the scrap box, mumbling about how she should probably label the boxes better.
"Awwww, that's so sweet!" Sarah smiled as Millie located the box and placed it on the floor.
"Take whatever you need," the gothic appraiser stated before she stood back as Sarah rummaged through the scrap box, swapping and changing metal parts, tossing broken bits out of herself, and rearanging components.
As Sarah set her shoulder back in, the conversation shifted from scrap metal to the ornate canister that contained a seemingly ordinary plastic ball pit ball.
"What's that?" Sarah asked, pointing at the canister, readjusting the scrap in her hands as she did so.
"My ball." Millie replied. She thought that she'd had it hidden under her desk, but she'd accidentally left it in the open.
Sarah looked at Millie as if she had two heads, so she knew she had some explaining to do.
"You know how sometimes I get phantom pains and seem to have a split personality? It used to be worse. This ball contained the side of me that died in Funtime Freddy's stomach hatch that day. According to this detective and ghost duo, L and J… or something, a robot named Eleanor bound the souls of her victims to these balls. It was no wonder I was drawn to the ball pit. I managed to reunite my physical body and the dead half of my soul, and found myself able to now see which balls belonged to who." Millie looked over at the boxes on the shelves and the other canisters she had made. "Honestly they were surprised to see me alive. Then again, the detective ALSO shouldn't have been alive, so the first five minutes of explaining what happened was just two should-be-dead's staring at eachother. He hooked me up with a line to the station, and I wound up being in on something that wasn't actually over my head."
"So why do you have the others?" Sarah asked.
"Well, the detective must have relayed our entire conversation back to the station, as the police paid my store a little visit. They wanted my help," Millie smiled, "Being a victim of one of those incidents that was tied to the ball pit, and being one of the few people able to see what's inside each orb, and all that. During our conversations, one of the other victims walked in, unsure of why they came into this store but they just had a feeling like they should be here right now."
"Ooo, spooky!"
"Quite," Millie continued with a smirk, "Well, when they stepped through the door, the orb linked to them started to glow, so I handed it to them, and basically, the energy from the ball transferred back into them, like the energy from mine transferred back into me. The police figured that leaving the balls with me was the best way of getting them to the right place, as people are more likely to walk into an antiques store than a police station. But they do regularly visit to make sure things are going well."
"So, that's what this is," Millie said as she patted the top of the ornate looking canister, "a part of my soul. I've made canisters for many of the other balls based on what I've seen within them. It makes them easier to sort."
"Do you have any kind of plan on getting them back to their owners?" Sarah asked, noting that there were more balls than she could probably count.
"I don't really have a plan outside of my overarching objective. I just hope that they stumble into my shop. That's my plan for how I will find who these orbs belong to. If they are alive like me, they may finally feel whole again. If not, it goes to thier next of kin, and searching for next of kin is a police matter." Millie turned around to take inventory of some old Fazbear Entertainment merchandise that sat nearby, "But it's not all waiting and seeing. To find these people I make them find me instead. I collect legacy Freddy's hardware in hopes it'll draw in those I seek. It had already worked for some, but some of the balls are yet to be ID'd. Some are only able to be ID'd when the person or thier next of kin walks in. Some even glow with the hardware, like the freaky clown or the little Freddy doll… now seeing a sapient Freddy doll touch the orb, go limp, then less than an hour later seeing a panicking young man and his younger sibling run in and learning that the elder sibling had been body swapped with the doll and had been swapped back after the doll touched the orb… That's something you don't forget."
"What about the clown?" Sarah asked as she pointed to a photograph of a clown animatronic. She assumed this was the freaky clown Millie had mentioned, but wanted to see if she was right.
Millie went silent and shifted her gaze away from Sarah. "It went to his next of kin."
Realising that the clown was probably linked to a tragedy Millie didn't want to speak of, she didn't press any further and awkwardly looked away. A bright flash quickly caught her gaze, and it was coming from the box of unidentified balls.
"Millie, look!" She exclaimed, pointing at the box.
Millie's jaw dropped and instantly, she rushed over to the box and procured the one glowing orb that was in a case made up of mechanical parts.
"This one hasn't been fully ID'd, but I now think it's yours."
As she carried the case to Sarah, the orb glowed brighter, plastering the shadows of the case's frame as pitch black streaks across the room, leaving what was not cast in shadow to be engulfed in gold.
After taking the orb out of the casing, the only darkness in the room was cast by the shadows of the two women.
Millie held out the orb, and Sarah held out her hands so that the orb could be handed to her.
With the orb now in Sarah's hands, Millie placed her own hands around Sarah's so she wouldn't drop it, and slowly, the light from the orb dimmed as the energy contained within returned to Sarah.
Once the light faded, the ball returned to its normal plastic form.
"All I could gather from this one was a vague sense of machines and a want to be cute and not get picked on. Odd how it hasn't reacted until now." Millie said as Sarah stared at the plastic ball.
"Honestly, I'm both surprised and not that I have an orb." As she spoke, she subconsciously brought the orb to her chest, and the mechanical parts that made up her torso pulled the orb in, "It's just weird to think that I'd been missing that big of a part of myself."
Before she was entirely sure what was happening, scrap metal begun falling to the floor.
Before Millie coule begin to panic, she heard Sarah talking to herself.
"Don't need that, move that there, and done!"
The back room was in silence as around Sarah lay a pile of scrap up to her ankles, yet she looked the same.
"What … Happened?" Millie asked.
"Oh! After absorbing the orb, the scrap that makes up my body begun to move around. At first I was a bit worried, but then I realised what was happening: I'm able to maintain my form more efficiently now! So my body was just ejecting any parts that were too rusty or otherwise too broken or just not needed." Sarah looked around at the pile of scrap whilst stretching her arms. She sounded a lot less rusty than before. "Some of the ejected parts are still good though, so I'd keep hold of them. And what's odd about it not reacting until now anyway…. I still feel like something is missing though, like there's still a part of me out there somewhere that doesn't know I exist out here."
"You're just here so often I thought it would have reacted by now," Millie replied as she picked up and sorted the shed scrap into 'keep' and 'broken beyond salvage', "Then again, a pair of my regular customers - a father and son who come here for the cheap thrifted goods - came into the store the other day, and the father started having a migraine. At that moment, the orb that I could only identify as a normal domestic family who were somehow linked to the ball pit the orbs came from directly, started to glow. It was only then when I was certain that the pit orb was his. You see, whilst I can see into these, faces are impossible to distinguish, so ultimately, 'does it light' is the only real means of being certain on whose is whose, and the orb doesn't always belong to the involved party that you'd think it would."
"So who do you think the dog ball belongs to?" Sarah said as she looked at the orbs that were sitting on the shelf, sorted and in what she presumed were appropriate containers.
"I had to do some digging, but I found the names of the involved parties. Greg, and a girl whose family requested anonymity from this whole tragedy."
"Greg?" Sarah questioned, "Gregory sr? The comatose man with the dog bites? Didn't he have a kid about a decade ago? How old is that ball?"
"Yes, it is indeed that Greg: the comatose man with the dog bites." Millie replied with an objective tone, "It was the only one I could get a certain ID on due to the dog animatronic. Managing to ID this orb was very important, as whilst Greg grew up, he's almost thirty now and has a ten year old son, the shard in the ball is still 16 years old in a world that'll forever be 2007. And given that nobody has come forward and Gregory jr is currently missing, we are hoping that this orb may draw in the child."
Sarah was rather perplexed.
"Why would it draw in Gregory jr?" She asked, "Gregory jr wasn't born until like, so many years after the incident that made this ball."
Millie nodded. After all, why would it? The facts were simple: 1 - the dog ball was among the oldest, alongside the underground guard ball and the original balls tied to the mass murderer at the Freddy's location that once surounded the pit, and 2 - it was not confirmed which of the two were actually in the ball: Greg or The Girl?
And if it is a part of Greg, how do you even get something like this through customs?
"We don't know, but it's a long shot. There are only three options: it reacts to Greg, his son, or The Girl"
"What if it's The Girl?" Sarah questioned, "and how will you know it's them if they requested anonymity?"
"The orb will go to her family. And just because they wanted to remain anonymous doesn't mean I don't know them; they just don't want thier name tied to this incident," Millie said as she examined the orb as if it'd yield more answers that it had thus far, "Usually, when the one with a part of their soul stolen is dead, we'll want to reunite it with the family, as the rest of thier ghost usually lingers around there."
Before the conversation could continue, Millie heard the door bell ring: she had a customer. "So let's deal with this later, ok?"
At the front desk, Millie and Sarah watched as a duo of regular customers walked in: a pair of rookie film directors. One average height and slightly athletic, the other tall and lean. She mentally went over her stores incident procedures, as it was always best to be on the ball in the event of a customer experiencing a paranoia induced panic attack or collapsing from chronic pain, which these two often did to the point where it was practically routine.
"Looking for anything specific, directors?" Millie asked, knowing that those two usually look around for things that would make good props. Whilst a normal antiquarian would likely be adverse to such shoppers, her store was as much a thrift and Fazbear's junk store as it was standard antiques. Though Fazbear Entertainment stuff from the Fredbear era still counted as antiques.
"Nothing really. Just browsing, seeing if inspiration will hit," and hit was probably an ironic word as the taller directors words were cut short by him collapsing to the ground, hissing in pain.
The shorter director stared at the taller one, saying nothing. And it was clear why: the shorter director was shaking, his breathing patterns were abnormal, and he looked as if he too would soon wind up a heap on the floor.
As the shorter directed started screaming about a blackbird, Millie realised that she'd have to remedy the situation fast. She knew what he was screaming about: she had saw the newspapers, read about the taller director going missing on the train tracks, the feathers that were found, and how the taller director then was found injured but alive in a ditch a few days later.
He had also disclosed his hallucinations in passing.
She had also read the scathing and inaccurate hit-piece Faz Ent put out afterwards, even though that company didn't seem to be involved with the situation at all. The fact they tried to cover it up at all was suspicious.
Millie didn't know how, but she had a gut feeling that Eleanor was behind this too; she had to be if Faz Ent got involved in a situation where they could have had plausible deniability. But gut feelings only got you so far: she knew that a pair of aspiring directors were some of the victims with shards of themselves trapped in the balls, but without a positive ID from the orb itself, all it was was a gut feeling that maybe this duo and the duo from orb were the same, even if every other detail lined up. As she tried to manage the situation, micromanaging trying to ascertain as to where the taller one kept his medication whilst trying to mentally ground the other, Sarah stared off into the back storage room.
"I think one of the balls is glowing."
"What?" Millie exclaimed before turning around to see that indeed, one of the balls was glowing. And it was the one in the casing themed after film production. The one she had suspected to be theirs the whole time.
And that was the true positive ID she needed.
"Just stay put, ok?" She said before rushing into the back of the shop, picking up the ball, and rushing back, glowing case in hand.
"Ok," she sat in front of the two directors and opened the casing, "if you can, extend a hand."
Both of them obliged, albeit shaking. With too much practice behind her, Millie placed the glowing orb in the taller man's hand, and placed the other man's hand on top. She kept her hands around thiers for the sole purpose of ensuring that they wouldn't drop it - she didn't want to know what would happen if they did and it wasn't worth chancing it.
Nobody was certain if seconds or minutes had passed until the ball finally stopped glowing.
"It looks like it was equally both of yours. That may pose a logistical issue," Millie mumbled as she let go of the men's hands, and as predicted, thier grip on the ball pit ball immediately failed, so she simply put the ball back in its case. "Does anything feel different?"
"Well, I'm slightly less in pain than before. This would be the first time the medication has actually worked." The taller director said.
"And I don't know what you did, but it really helped ground me, thanks." The shorter one added.
They didn't have a clue, did they.
"Maybe that you now have the part of your souls back that Eleanor stole, you'll find that you're a lot more… 'normal'? That's probably the wrong word. The pain you feel is no longer unnaturally amplified by her, which is what she was doing to mine suffering, after all. It's somewhat like how before the balls were brought into my shop, I was an emotionless husk with non-stop phantom pains."
"And that's different to how you act now in what way?" The shorter director chuckled in a way where it was obvious he was trying to diffuse some kind of tension in the air.
The reply made Millie laugh, but she remained serious, "I had a whole half of my soul ripped out and that half believed that I bled to death. If anything I've just exchanged lacking half of my emotions for constant nightmares. But it's better than being dubbed a medical anomaly, having lost too much blood yet still living. Taking his hand to replace the one he took was all the revenge I could get," She glared at her prosthetic hand with a bitter mix of rage and regret; it was clear that her prosthetic was made from funtime Freddy's hand, "but enough about me. Let's get back on topic: you two."
"Wait… So you think the pain was being amped up by Eleanor?" The taller director asked, "And that's why my medication wasn't working before?"
"Effectively, yes. You had ghost induced variants of your conditions. That's the short version of it, unless you want me to go into detail and explain how that detective fellow found out about Eleanor and how she was using the suffering of us and the parts of us she stole to power herself," Millie replied, "You mentioned a while ago that your doctor said that scans showed that your pain should just be in your leg and not all over, and that your medication should work but just doesn't, am I correct?"
"Yes…" The director replied, "But they just waved me off with some medication after I told them that it wasn't just in my leg."
"Well, whilst I too don't trust doctors for… obvious reasons," Millie waved her prosthetic hand as she spoke, "Where is your pain?"
"My… Leg!" The tall director smilled and appeared to be incredibly excited about this, "the pain is just in my leg! I can finally look into getting treatment for it again…" His voice mellowed out a little, "I had given up after the first few checkups… Nobody knew what was wrong, and nobody except us really seemed to care. So I just gave up after they kept on just giving me medication and sending me away with a 'come back in a month'. But now I might actually get answers… But the damage is probably done by now and I'll probably be limping forever more, but better late than never."
"Honestly the extra beta waves should have given it away, but regardless," Millie sighed, paused, then smiled, "whatever she was doing to you won't be happening anymore. Though you might want to mention the phrase 'ghost induced chronic pain' if you want to get anyone to apologize for not taking your ghost induced chronic pain seriously."
"It's odd though, isn't it," the shorter director said, "I thought it would have just been him if either of us, seeing as before this I thought it was just the dead ones or almost dead ones who wound up linked to those balls."
Millie shook her head, "whilst a correlation, it's not entirely true. Some of the first people to come here were just as alive as you two, and another had been a victim of a digital consciousness transfer. All those linked to either Eleanor or the ball pit itself, dead or alive, were effected and have a fragment of themselves tied to one of those damn plastic things. It may take a while to ensure everyone gets back what was taken from them, but at least we're doing something to reverse some of the damage. Shame I can't say the same about our reputations… I still get called a shallow bitch in public, but that detective guy who dropped off these balls apparently knows a guy who knows a journalist. Maybe we should try and give Faz Ent a taste of their own medicine."

I'm still saying Afton is not the Mimic
Spoilers for the Ruin DLC under the Cut. I wanted to include this in my mega post... but I know that the fandom is flooded with "the Mimic was Afton all along" theories right now actually.
There will be a lot under the cut, explaining some personal theories and the ending of the RUIN DLC so... be warned.
The Mimic, if you read the books, (but you probably haven't so I'll explain it in a few short sentences) is a character from the Tales of the Pizzaplex Books that was built by a Faz Engineer who made a robot to mimic his son to keep him company while he worked long hours while he lived in a factory. The child died in a car accident, and the Mimic kept miming his son's behavior. So in his grief, the engineer beat him to death in rage and grief. This infused rage in the machine.
So now the Mimic mimes behavior of a four year old, but it's corrupted and twisted. It will mime the action of 'scooping icecream' but will be scooping out your brains. It also has an adaptive learning AI so the violent pain it experienced, along with a four year old teaching it, it's a very dangerous thing.
It's also buried into the foundation of the Pizzaplex. And was reprogramed by some dumb lazy tech to clear the debris down there. By disassembling the robots and putting them in a pile. Which it did to all the human construction workers by disassembling them and putting them in a pile.
"This pile" I think is the Blob. Or as the game files refer to it.... "THE TANGLE."
Tumblr media
(hard to see but take my word for it. that's him)
Tumblr media
(cheating camera angle)
I think "The Tangle" is a infused pile of machinery, robots, and bodies that have all wound up down there.
So, we know that the blob is real. But I really think it's "The pile" that the Mimic has been stacking in the Book Epilogues. And it got out. Gregory/Mimic or Grimmick, says that something tunneled out of the building... And I believe this is 100% true. Because in Base Security Breach, we see this thing in the underground where Afton's room is.
But in RUIN.... This thing is on the top level??? HOw Did he get up here???
Easy..
He tunneled up.
So... the reason why RUIN looks like it does, and HOW it looks how it does...
Is because The Tangle got loose. And has been using the Pizzaplex as it's own series and network of tunnels like a burrowing snake or ant. Causing the entire building to fall in on itself. The Pizzaplex is it's ecosystem now. So that's why everything is falling apart how it is. He's breaking the very foundation and walls of everything.
So we do know the Blob IS real.
And let's assume that he's "the pile" that the Mimic has been building in the Tales of the Pizzaplex Epilouges. Just... sorting all the garbage, bodies, and endos into piles that he can find and stack.
So we know the Blob is real... but is Afton Burntrap real?
Forgive me I don't have the proper collectable screenshots so I'm pulling from the Wiki:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Throughout the game, you collect these real collectable comics that include all of the endings of Security Breach. And Cassie can recognize this as Gregory's art style, and has no idea when he had the time to make these or when he made them. EXCEPT Princess Quest. Which is pretty important I think. Which I think cements that Princess Quest is the definitive three star ending.
It's also worth noting that in Vanny's Room in the RUIN DLC... there is a book of "Fazbear History" by Vanny's Bed. So if Vanessa was freed and got out... we can assume she was talking to Gregory about the Fnaf lore as she knows it.
Also, it makes sense why some of these endings are a little insane now. cause it was just Gregory trying to process everything that happened to him at the Pizzaplex.
Gregory: So, I thought you had a twin sister for the longest time and-
Vanessa: Try again...
But anyway... if None of the previous endings were real.... Is Burntrap even real?
Tumblr media
We collect this before we face the Mimic.... of Afton and the Blob. So we know The Blob/Tangle is real.... but was Afton ever real? Was Burntrap ever real? That's what we need to answer...
But if he isn't.... Why is his charging station down here in the furnace room all clouded up? ....As if it never was opened. As if he rotted inside with no more remnant to collect???
Cause here's the thing... I can accept the soft retconning of Afton. And if he was never real to begin with, and this is just Gregory's personal interpretation based on what Vanessa told them about what she was suffering through, I will take that. Or maybe Gregory saw the Mimic and interpreted it as this... I will take that as well.
However....
From what I said earlier... The Mimic... All his motivations in the game don't line up with Afton's.
He is doing exactly what he wants to do.
The Mimic is sealed in the back with Concrete... he's using Helpi and the VANNI Network to get Cassie to let him out. He just wants to get out of the basement and get Free.
Now... if Mimic is Afton the whole time...
and there is a case for it... they have almost the same idle animations as an endo, the Mimic does have Burntrap's claws on one hand. And he does have a similar pawed foot to Burntrap's design and they're practically identical height and pose.
And the Mimic is almost one-for-one linked with Hepi and the VANNI network. And I don't doubt that Vanny the person was using the VANNI network to get around the pizzaplex and become invisible to certain animatronics.
.....But...
here's a big But...
If the Mimic's goal is to kill people with his bare hands... and to get out of the concrete sealed basement, and break all the Security Nodes so he can get free???
WHY DOES THE PIZZAPLEX HAVE SO MANY MISSING PEOPLE/CHILDREN?
Why was the Human Staff all killed in the Pizzaplex?
Why are their children missing?
Why is Vanny hunting children and adults alike to kill in the first place?
This is not the Mimic's MO.
Because Vanny WAS working under influence of Glitchtrap and not the Mimic.
Because if the Mimic just wanted to get out... He would have told Vanny/Vanessa... head of Security.... To break all the Security Nodes A WHOLE LOT SOONER. Cause she literally has a VANNI Mask/suit and access to all of that.
The Mimic has no need for remnant or child killing or human killing if they aren't doing it themselves. The Mimic has always been very hands on with their kills.
But If Burntrap Afton is REAL... HE DOES have a reason for gathering this much Remenant.
He is growing in the charging station and trying to regrow his body.
And while the Mimic moves in a similar fashion to Burntrap, I think that's because he witnessed his behavior at one point and is copying it. But he never saw Afton in his prime. So he literally can't mimic the serial killer behaviors Afton is known for. Just likely his walk and how he breathes.
Because He literally can not copy Afton as a copy-cat killer, if there is NO Afton to Copy. There is no way that he could have learned who Afton was from all the way down below into the foundation. Especially with MXES keeping it hidden down there. And by "hidden" I'm sure it's hidden from Glitchtrap to even possess or check out that low.
People have to remember. The Mimic doesn't have access to illusion disc technology from the books. he can't replicate a corpse face. He's just a learning killer AI who has access to crappy mascot costumes. He can't look one-for-one like a person, even if he can sound like one.
So, there is a possibility that Burntrap Afton DID exist... He just rotted into dust once Vanny stopped collecting remnant for him.
Or there's also the possibility he was never real to begin with.
But.... Glitchtrap certainly was at one point. And Vanny was working with Glitchtrap to kill employees and children.
Not the Mimic.
Just their motivations and modus operandi don't add up if they are one in the same.
It wouldn't make sense for the Mimic to just tell Vanny to parade around in a bunny suit, kidnapping children and killing employees.
He would be telling her to disable the Security Nodes.
There is also the possibility that Vanessa sealed the Mimic in concrete after the events of Security Breach. But even then, I really don't think that she knew about it before hand until she went down to the basement to unplug Burntrap from his charging station.
Anyways... The only way I will see "Mimic is Afton" is that if Afton was using it's body. But then, it's not the Mimic anymore, it's just another Afton-clone.
And from everything from how I've seen the behavior of the Mimic in the DLC, it is operating completely divorced from Afton with it's own motivations and morals of it's own accord.
Oh, just to be clear, I'm not mad at this soft-retcon of burntrap. It's fine. Lol I actually prefer if he didn't exist.
And even if Burntrap was never real in the first place....
Then it means that Vanny was purely an agent of Glitchtrap.
Then when the Glitchtrap Virus got destroyed.... the Mimic hijacked the VANNI network and took it's place.

i am the absolute worst kind of person to do the whole ""theory"" thing (hence why my theoryposting tag is almost entirely fandom meta) bc you give me "halloween-themed moon variant that appears primarily on what is described as a vintage carousel and the backrooms, glitched-out (princess quest-themed!) areas of the new foxy log ride" and "there are posters referencing fallfest from hw1" and i go "oh cool, a reference to the curse of dreadbear dlc, where: vanny was first introduced, the nightmares are heavily featured, the plushbabies wear masks of the og band, foxy's first ride appears, the moondrop candy first shows up, you experiment on an undead animatronic's brain, the handunit insists that there are no ulterior motives behind its creation (while the game makes a lot of references to purging its systems and finding + reporting 'glitches'), among many other things -- princess quest also directly references it, with grim foxy guarding the vanny mask (as he did in cod's corn maze). the jack-o animatronics appear throughout the backrooms of hw1's foxy log ride as its primary antagonists, with the various props seen there also eventually being present at the pizzaplex -- which was already under construction at the time, as evidenced by the teaser showing it as such in that very same update (with a suspiciously familiar barn as part of the scenery), and hw1 levels eventually appear as hidden side-rooms in the pizzaplex's utilidoors network. nightmarionne also appears a looooot, being an easter egg in both sb and hw2 and an outright level in hw1. are the halloween versions of the nightmare animatronics, as explicitly stated non-canonical versions of the cast, being presented as the primary occupants of the 'true world' hidden backstage -- the way they kinda have been, ever since fnaf world? does this mean that the moon character was created around the same time as vanny, both in-game and outside of it? huh, neat. it's cool to see them bring back concepts in this way, and how it relates to the recurring idea of reality vs memory and dreams vs nightmares. design itself is kinda bland, though." and not "MOON WAS MADE IN THE 70S"

I have a rough couple of theories, that I don't think many have considered (probably for good reason), but I think are fun to toy with: Cassy is taken back to the FNAF 6 location by the Mimic, possibly to have Glitchtrap consume her just like it did Vanessa (hence the name Helptrap in the ending files; this was his plan in Ruin). This is why we open up to it being a “training orientation” simulation, when Cassy Dad would have no need for it.
The games we play are actually from 3-4 different perspectives: William Afton (Fall Fest 1970-83 which is possibly where William was inspired and possibly the Sister Location), Cassy Dad (most of the Pizzaplex Technician Levels), and Cassy/Vanessa (Pizzaplex food and beverage levels and some of the rides).
To be clear, Cassy is the protagonist of the game, but the system is showing her the memories of her father and William (and maybe Vanessa) to try and goad her deeper into the game, to infect her. This is why some monitors show glitchtrap pop up on the screen in certain mini games.
This is why Vanny (the cut voicelines) mentions that Williams code is living on in memories (the plushies) and Cassy has to trade her VANNI mask to get the Glitchtrap Plushie, after she goes to the Virtual Realm/Afterlife/FNAF World of Princess Quest, after prompting from Vanny.
What this means for Cassy being trapped in the toy machine is unknown, but Vanny seems to have usurped Glitchtrap (possibly as the Mimic program) and Cassy now knows the fate of her father (or at least suspects it; he was victim to Burntrap and his control over the STAFF bots and they disassembled him into Maskbot, which is why we can see organs and brains). More confirmation is that Cassy somewhat recognizes a Bonnie mask, but there is no reason Cassy Dad would be confused, as he is Bonnie Bro.
We also get more confirmation that Glitchtrap is connected to Moon; Moon features prominently in Fall Fest, the Foxy Log Ride, and in the Princess Quest ending, the former two being corrupted by Glitchtrap and the latter having him be the one to deliver the Glitchtrap Plushie to Vanny while also showing a Moon plushie covered in purple right behind him.
Speaking of connections, Baby is everywhere. Literally from the opening, she is watching the player from behind. In the Fazerblast section, she openly mentions that the player was foolish to think she wouldn’t find them (though this could be a William memory as it takes place in Fall Fest), and the Sister Location room has her explain how safe she feels inside this place and that she is “safe forever” here.
She is the only animatronic that seems to have recognition of the player and have a conversation with them (or Cassy specifically). Furthermore, her plushies are literally crawling all over the game, around 5 if I counted correctly. I suspect Baby or Elizabeth is living inside the Network in some capacity, as a refuge for herself. Perhaps this is a connection to Nightmares Puppet
Things I have no answers for:
What happens when all the posters and collectibles are collected
What is the purpose of the Fazcam, Fazerblaster, and Dart Gun
What is behind the Left Steel Door, under the static tvs
Candy Cadet Story (we can assume the dead family is the Aftons which is soft confirmation of dead Mrs. Afton). The second story involves; A Witch, a woman, and a boy. The witch tries to cook the woman by disguising herself as friendly but she escapes, grows older, and tries to hunt down the witch, to which a boy offers his help but betrays her by revealing his house is secretly the witch oven.
Most people assume it’s Vanessa being a surviving victim of William, growing up and thinking she can face her fears, only for Gregory to trick her and turn her into Vanny.
This doesn’t work, for obvious reasons, as Vanny was captured due to being a play tester… right?
Hmmm. We know Tape Girl was a play tester, who was purposely trying to stop Glitchtrap, but Vanessa is not Tape Girl. We don’t know why or how she became involved, beyond it being a job. It could be she had been searching for William as a personal mission, and tape girl had already converted Gregory, and the two of them tricked her into playing the game (which does lead to the question of who is Tape Girl and what happened to her).
Which has its own problems, of course, as it still doesn’t fit 1:1. Why would Vanessa and Gregory be gendered correctly, but not William?
It’s so open ended, I almost considered the possibility that Mrs Afton was an accomplice to William (hence she is the Witch who tried to deceive her with a kind voice).
And of course, none of this answers who built the Afton family replica in SB or the origin of the Tangle.
It's an interesting idea, though as the days go on I lean more and more towards Cassie's dad being the protagonist, which I'll be talking about in my next video if all goes well!

Not a very simple ask so feel free to not respond but
Since the mimic thing is so incredibly dumb and the alternative is also dumb. And the entire "WOAG afton is back!!!" thing is dumb.
What do you think would've been a better direction for the story? Like as a way to continue from pizzeria sim? Bonus points if you figure out a satisfying plot thread that still involves the pizzaplex.
I personally think it would've been interesting if the game went more in the direction of exploring more varied horror settings, all within the world of FNAF and using the underpinning of agony and remnant as a way to introduce new creepy crawlies. Possibly going along with the "cult of Afton" thing. A buncha internet peeps get fascinated by the mysterious deaths surrounding Fazbear's and it's founders, so they do some searching around in Afton's stuff, y'know casual B&E. They find some scattered notes on remnant (and agony maybe?) in his old house, which was abandoned a while ago and is in significant disrepair. Proceed with delusions of grandeur and hopes of immortality, and boom! You have a death murder cult!
So the spirit of Charlie is roused from its peace and begins softly manipulating random strangers into stumbling upon the machinations of the Macheivellian Murder Immortality Cult and putting a stop to their nonsense.
First thing that comes to mind is a building that someone was tortured in and subsequently had their body cut up and strewn across the building, and their remnant placed in the rebar, that kinda shit :3
While I do really like those ideas, I think i would try to keep it a bit more contained and maybe expand into some of the stuff you've brought up as time goes on
I would forego any lore relevance that help wanted/fnaf vr has, first off, and i mean completely forego it. it might drop some hints for upcoming games, but making it an in-universe meta thing has always rubbed me the wrong way. non-canon in every sense. just a collection of games, like we thought it was going to be ! ! ! ! !
I've never liked glitchtrap, and I have also always believed that Vanny should be a copycat killer, who has absolutely no direct affiliation with afton, because he is dead. forever. and ever. never to return. him "always coming back" should be more of a 'he always comes back to haunt you' situation or a 'his actions will affect people for the rest of time' thing rather than a literal resurrection
Instead of it being a network of people, I kinda just want Vanny to be a true crime freak who got a little too invested in Afton and his business and it eventually spiraled into her doing what you something akin to what you described. I have a whole AU for this, though no content has been created beyond designs. If agony & remnant work with all living things and not just people, I think maybe she killed some small animals before, saw a glimpse of how possession worked as an experiment, and immediately bought into (and spun more) conspiracy theories surrounding freddy's and the animatronics. I don't want her to be some dark, sad, motivated villain like Afton sort of became, but instead just literally being fucked up for the sake of it. Murdering kids for fun, because she wants to be like her idol. I think this arguably makes her more frightening than William, because at least he had motivations for a bit, right? He had a reason to be doing what he was doing. She doesn't.
Of course, that would be where the pizzaplex comes in. Assuming Henrys whole fazbear-entrepreneur-package wasnt ONLY dished out to Michael, that would be why it exists. Probably built by someone who already had way too much money, but I digress. Vanessa gets a job at the Pizzaplex. It's the perfect opportunity, afterall, and she probably needs the cash anyway.
The Glamrocks would be a threat because theyre trying to return Gregory to Vanessa, as per their night mode where they try to locate any lost patrons (or ones hiding out after dark) and bring them to whoevers working the night shift. I would definitely make them less sentient than they are, with any lines being more like glamrock chica's specifically (since they actually feel like something an animatronic thats programmed to round up kids after hours and get them back home WOULD SAY)
I think in order for this to work out with security breach still sort of being security breach, we'd have to rewrite the introduction to the game. There's a few big issues here, but the main one is figuring out why he's in the pizzaplex after dark. Since William is not involved anymore, having glamrock freddy faint on stage doesn't make sense, so we would have to get rid of that--At least, not in the way he does, for the reasons he does.
One thing I would've enjoyed about security breach were the content not cut, is that the player wouldn't have a reason to believe Gregory about Vanessa. Not fully. He never explains why we shouldn't trust her, and its very likely that there was supposed to be a bit where she "turns into" vanny, which would reveal her as a threat to the player; Beforehand, it just seemed like she was trying to genuinely help us out of the pizzaplex. It makes her go from someone we can possibly trust (even if gregory doesnt) to an explicit threat. I think trying to achieve that in some way again would be cool.
We could still keep the thread that Gregory is homeless, and he just snuck in during the day and stayed after hours to try and seek shelter-And what kid wouldn't want to stay at a fucking amusement park overnight? Naturally, he would want out once the animatronics start being aggressive with him, but I think we can take another route with this too:
Start out with Vanessa being nice! She's clearly the only guard at the pizzaplex (for some reason? despite it being so massive). She offers to help, to not only get Gregory out of the pizzaplex because he shouldnt be there, but because she finds out he's homeless and he needs a place to stay. Lure the player into a false sense of security. She brings him to a back office where she says he can stay while she gets things sorted, then comes back to kill him wearing her funny little rabbit suit. Before she does, maybe she cuts the power, so none of the security cameras capture what happened. (maybe in the vanny hideout that already exists in security breach?) Once she tries, though (or maybe once he smells the decay of other dead children in the room) Gregory manages to escape through a vent, and from there it would be a game of cat and mouse as she chases him around the pizzaplex. in the dark.
Having glamrock freddy be this all-protective saint wouldnt really mesh well with this, but I do think him being on our side could be incorporated. No stomach hatch mechanic, first off, and if it ever is included, it needs to be nervewracking and evoke the same sort of feeling as the minireena springlock night in sister location. As for why glamfred doesnt just try to gank him like the other animatronics do, we could say he never entered the proper night mode like the other glamrocks did because of his mishap earlier sort of resetting his shit. I still dont want him, or any of them, to be sentient, so at most any intelligent responses could be chalked up to AI. That way, we could have some offputting, not-quite-human, inconvenient interactions with him that (at most) are a response to something gregory does or says. We could keep an element of humor that FNAF has always had that way, too.
As for why glamfred would be trying to PROTECT Gregory, we could go back to what fnaf 2 was doing with its facial recognition system: they help protect kids. if a child tells him that hes in danger, he will try to help that child. all that being said, i would want to bring the shattered freddy story beat back where the other glamrocks rip him the fuck apart and turn him into a threat like halfway through the game. Instead of him being literally destroyed (since again. vanny would have commanded them to do that and it doesnt make sense if shes the killer and theres no afton) it could be that vanny got him working in his proper night mode and so now hes in the "find child and return it to the proper authorities" mindset like everyone else is. make the player feel hopeless. and so on
im going um. way off the rails here. and im gonna continue. but i dont think the animatronics should be possessed yet for the sake of motivations and trying to keep them as lifeless as possible. I mentioned it earlier, but I think it would be good if she hasnt stuffed the kids into the glamrocks yet because she hasn't killed enough, and is keeping their bodies in her little hideout--Gregory would be the final piece of her puzzle before she can enact her plan how she wants to.
Alongside the pizzaplex being In The Fucking Dark Now, I always thought having Vanny be visible around corners and on railings due to her eyes and then vanishing once you see her would be neat. Always being watched, sorta like a g-man situation. The type of killer who likes to toy with her prey, which would eventually lead to Gregory actually escaping, her becoming a suspect, and then managing to get away at the last second and continue her antics in true afton copycat fashion.
i have more to say but im going to stop myself and summarize:
canonicity of help wanted would be done for
vanny/vanessa is obsessed with william afton and the murders
decides to emulate his crimes
pizzaplex exists due to the entrepreneur thing henry set up in FFPS
she gets a job there
gregory is there because hes seeking shelter as a homeless kid
she lures him into a false sense of security but he realizes whats going on before it happens and escapes
glamrocks have a night mode which makes them try to locate kids and return them to the nightguard so they dont camp out overnight (because lets be real, more than one person has tried to do this for their youtube channel)
glamrock freddy is kind of useless and gets turned against the player either about halfway or a third of the way thru the game
becomes a game of trying to wait it out til 6 am evading various threats
i do want to fully rewrite security breach one day for my copycat killer au (CCKAU), but heres something to chew on for now

Here's a post I've been drafting for a while!
So I was chatting with my brother about Ruin, explaining certain lore bits to him.
And he's not digging what they're doing with the Mimic, because he chooses not to read the other FNAF books and it doesn't make sense to put the next main villain in a book that's optional to read.
And I've been seeing similar thoughts while scrolling through the FNAF tag here
So I thought I'd share a theory me and my brother came up with one night that doesn't require the books!
Is this canon? Probably not? But it's more satisfying to me and my brother and maybe you'll like it more
Ok, so we're operating under the Princess Quest ending, meaning that Burntrap wasn't canon.
And we saw Glamrock Bonnie's body, so that also dispels the mini theory that Vanny had Bonnie destroyed to make Afton's new body.
So let's be hypothetical here and say Mimic doesn't exist.
So Afton's body has been mutilated and set on fire twice by this point. It wouldn't be too illogical to assume that the body at least was completely destroyed.
But Glitchtrap is a digital entity, given life through his scanned circuit boards.
What if since Vanessa got freed, he couldn't make a new full suit for himself and was limited to just an endoskeleton.
Plus, Glitchtrap is a digital entity, so it makes sense that he could pull recordings of Gregory's voice and mimic them.
Plus it would explain how the endoskeleton had some power over the V.A.N.N.I network, enough to jam it's signal.
I'm supposing that Glitchtrap, using his technical prowess, created the V.A.N.N.I network to have control over the Pizzaplex.
But since Gregory freed Vanessa, she created M.X.E.S and used the same network to lock Glitchtrap underground.
(That's why it was hovering over the Princess Quest arcade cabinet)
It also gives an explanation for our ending that doesn't involve Gregory betraying Cassie.
Glitchtrap might have lost control over Vanessa, but it wasn't confirmed he was washed out of the system.
He could have hacked the elevator and mimicked Gregory's voice to make Cassie think her friend left her for dead, and since Cassie has had plenty of face time with the Vanny mask, he could be trying to turn Cassie against Gregory, and into his new minion.
Is this canon? Probably not.
I just thought it would be cool to share it with folks who weren't satisfied with the books and the canon.
Heck, I kinda like this more than the canon, and I like the books being somewhat canon.

i propose a fnaf security breach ruin dlc theory
one which may not have a leg to stand on besides my brain trying to rationalize the information i have, or lack thereof lmao
plot take place years after the base game. gregory is dead - all that’s left of him is mimic.
the building is in too terrible of a state for gregory’s trip there to be anytime recent. as well as the entire VANNI network being a thing. there was no indication of its existence in security breach. under the assumption that it was created after the events of the base game, that shit takes time. especially something this big and intricate. vanny herself is also nowhere to be seen in ruin.
now onto cassie. she fits the description of what mimic needs to enact his plan of escape. someone with enough knowledge to disable the security system (learned from her dad, who was implied to be a fazbear technician). someone impressionable and easily manipulated (an empathetic and innocent child). someone closely familiar with pain and loneliness so they would go to the rescue of a stranger who is faced with pain and loneliness. (also a freddy & co fan lol)
we see mimic pose as (mimics ha) gregory, but he’s been doing it for much longer. it wouldn’t be inconceivable for mimic to have access to documents of past children’s parties, he could’ve found cassie from there. or utilized the internet to find her. either way, he reaches out as gregory, gains her trust, and convinces her to save her new friend. a standard online predator.
hook, line, sinker.
now i could absolutely be off base here. i only finished the game today lol i played like 3/4 of the game in one sitting today but i played the beginning over two evenings as soon as it came out. i haven’t looked into many theories or discussions yet.
i also have only seen the elevator ending. i haven’t seen the others yet so there could be something there that would change all this
anyway wanted to get that thought blurb out of my head lmao thanks for reading uwu

AR and Cassie’s memories - An observation/theory on FNAF Ruin and Tales from the Pizzaplex
Spoilers for the DLC
Interesting that the AR Mode in FNAF Ruin is reflecting Cassie’s memories back at her, as that’s happened several times in Tales stories whenever characters get trapped in a mixed reality.
The systems at the Pizzaplex, including The Mimic, can learn a lot of things.
Tumblr media
The VANNI network seemingly has many things tapped into it, including Mimic and MXES (two opposing forces)
But any entity can see the memories of the user and use it against them.
That’s what the Cassidy entity does in one of the Tales stories.

(going to be tagging this as ruin spoilers but please dont comment any spoilers because we're not actually done with all the game. We've gotten 2/3 endings and are working towards the secret ending where you have to find hidden cameras while also replaying and seeking out the secrets we missed. This is seriously just insane ramblings aimed at no one i just need to get my thoughts out and suggest u scroll past.)
I seriously like. Am struggling to figure out the whole plot of ruin in an analytical story timeline sense. No i do not read or care about fan theories, i interpret the game and the lore by playing it and looking at all the clues myself thank you very much, so my interpretation of the lore is. different from most fans (you have to consider: very autistic, fnaf a Huge special interest for me. So when i analyze lore, i analyze as much as i can, every single secret. And i feel like a lot of people Miss main lore secret plot points. Im not trying to be a contraian, id love for the fans to have good theories. But like 70% of the time they dont. Or theyre dumb lil kids who blindly listens to mat pat)
my interpretation of sb is different from most fans and theories (mostly because I actually take help wanted and ar into account and can like. Use my brain to understand the differences between the vanessas (there are two. The murderer vanny, who we play as in help wanted, is referred to in ar, and is the one in the therapist tapes) and vanessa the nightguard, who's COMPLETELY unrelated and just an innocent nightguard who happens to have the same name and face as vanessa murderer (though it is also possible to me that like. Murderer vanessa chose to try to look more like nightguard vanessa in an attempt to shift the blame of her crimes, but we dont know this for sure.)and i dont think the therapist tapes are two different people because thats STUPID and it obviously is murderer vanessa (people just. Cannot possibly understand that a person being possessed by an entirely different entity might have changes in her prrsonality. Or that a person with anxiety might have something similar to selective mutism or at the VERY least: troubles speaking because of said murderer in her brain)
ANYWAYS THATS A HUGE ASS TANGENT. MY MAIN THOUGHTS AS OF PLAYING RUIN RN (Please dont spoil things for me im not completely done) is that mainly: i dont know who is speaking to us or who mimic is.
There may be two different people communicating with us with the vanni network (as evidenced by helpi changing eye colors and how like. Some of the motives seem conflicting?) Initially i was like "oh its glitchtrap or williams spirit or something." But that doesnt make any sense because glitchtrap gets Trapped and is worked against.
Even tho that was my first thought: i dont think mimic is burntrap, or william, or glitchtrap. But i dont know what it is, because there are no other obvious characters that it could be in mind (tho since its michaels old fnaf 6 restaurant theyre in, and we saw the blob down there, god knows it could be any number of old ass animatronics or spirits)
Another very fuckin obvious thought is: hey where the fuck is vanny. With the whole mask mechanic, the plot revolving around glitchtrap, ect, you THINK we'd see her st least once. And though she has a cameo in the bad ending which is clearly a vision/fantasy/trick, she doesnt actually appear. The INSTANT That we started this game i speculated: is she talking through helpi? The yellow eyes reminded me of an early sb teaser artwork where we see a close up of a vanessas face with striking, yellow eyes, and i was never sure the significance of that... But i dont think its related at all, as mimic seems to be the one speaking when helpi has yellow eyes. Is mimic related to vanny somehow? I wouldnt assume so.
Whats weird about vanny not being there is it makes it seem like shes not carrying out glitchtraps bidding, which is odd. Dont y'all come at me with that "Gregory helped her!" Crap, the burntrap ending is the canon ending so that never happened. It makes sense for her to be against him (shes never really been on her side, shes the RELUCTANT follower. She explicitly does not want to do any of the horrible shit, but shes beinf forved to) but i just. Gahh i cant figure it out
I WILL figure it out just you wait. I will figure out what my interpretation of the lore as so good as soon as I finish the game just you wait

FNAF SB RUIN THEORY
THIS THEORY HAS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S SECURITY BREACH RUIN AS I WILL BE DISCUSSING MAJOR PLOT POINTS AND THE ENDING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Tumblr media
Everyone who hasn't played or watched Ruin gone? Good. Okay, so, in RUIN, we meet The Mimic and The Entity/M.X.E.S. In RUIN, there are security nodes all over the Pizzaplex all tied to the V.A.N.N.I mask and the M.X.E.S security lockdown. Just a refresher:
M.X.E.S - A program designed to keep the Mimic hidden underground controlling a security door in front of the concrete wall to the Mimic's prison. The only way to disable it is to disable every V.A.N.N.I security node in the Pizzaplex and approach it while wearing the V.A.N.N.I mask
V.A.N.N.I security mask - A Vanny mask connected to the Pizzaplex security network, possibly designed by Vanny herself. (Source - Vanessa is the head security guard of the Pizzaplex and in Fnaf VR Help Wanted when talking about a similar Vanny mask she says; "I made it myself")
Helpi - An AI designed to help guide new users through using the V.A.N.N.I mask and accessing the security nodes. Occasionally taken over by The Mimic to lure and trick Cassie, shown by his eyes becoming yellow.
Mimic - The Mimic from the TFTPP epilogues, trapped underground during the events of TFTPP and SB and freed by Cassie in RUIN
Canon Ending - Princess Quest 3 is heavily implied to be canon by the sword in the broken PQ3 machine, headless Glamrock Freddy in Fazerblast, the lack of Vanny appearances in RUIN, and the lack of a collectable comic of the PQ3 ending. The Burntrap ending was implied to be canon in the base game by the PQ3 ending being a comic strip and Burntrap being animated, and RUIN implies it through the Blob having tunneled out of the FFPS location and Gregory knowing about The Mimic. The most likely solution is that the PQ3 ending happened, followed by an alternate version of the Burntrap ending.
Now, my theory? I think that Glitchtrap and The Mimic are two separate entities, Burntrap was the result of Glitchtrap trying to take over The Mimic's body, and after The Blob (aka the Tangle) attacked Burntrap they separated again, Glitchtrap fleeing into M.X.E.S and hijacking the security program, and The Mimic remaining trapped underground until RUIN, where it lures Cassie into the Pizzaplex and she frees it, shutting down the M.X.E.S program and (atleast temporarily) taking Glitchtrap out of commission in the process.
Why do I think this? Well, let's get started.
The differences between Glitchtrap and the Mimic
In Tales from the Pizzaplex, we were introduced to The Mimic, a robot built to learn by copying what it witnessed. Originally designed to be a friend to its creator's son, it was taught violence on three separate occasions. These were when the child died and its creator beat it, when it witnessed one of the times William Afton killed kids in a suit, and when it was later reprogrammed to remove the heads and arms of robots but then started doing it to humans.
Now, at first, this seems like they're the same, but The Mimic loses it's old head before the construction of the pizzaplex and its reprogramming, now sporting a new rabbit head with bright orange eyes and The Mimic itself gets trapped under the Pizzaplex behind a wall of concrete where it hunts trapped teens, swapping between mascot costumes and copying their voices to trick them. Meanwhile, the old head is used by Fazbear Entertainment to speed up the development of various games and systems, resulting in Glitchtrap. This is accomplished by scanning the Mimic1 program into the systems.
Now, in a prior book series Fazbear Frights, there's a story called The Man in Room 1280. This story features a parallel version of Ultimate Custom Night, with William Afton being kept alive by a vengeful spirit who torments him with nightmares. The story ends with both of their agony leaking into the various objects in the Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center. I believe this is showing how Mimic1 got infected with the memories of William Afton, causing it to nearly perfectly mimic him, adopting purple eyes and a rabbit theme.
Now, in the epilogues of Tales From The Pizzaplex the Mimic has an appearance far closer to Burntrap than it's RUIN design, so as mentioned before I think Burntrap will turn out to be the result of Glitchtrap reuniting with his old body and trying to take control of it, ending with The Blob aka Tangle attacking them and causing them to split up, explaining why Burntrap has purple eyes and a rabbit theme while in RUIN it's back to orange eyes and loses the rabbit gimmick altogether. Glitchtrap meanwhile ends up in M.X.E S as The Entity.
Similarities between The Entity and Glitchtrap
In RUIN The Entity appears as a tall black rabbit with white highlights and green and purple glitch effects. Now, already, the green and purple glitch effect has similarities to Glitchtrap's green incomplete form, which has purple eyes, and the black rabbit bears resemblance to Glitchtrap's Princess Quest form, a large black shadowy rabbit monster. Adding to this, both Glitchtrap and The Entity adopt very similar poses as they approach you, standing straight and leaning over in very similar positions.
Tumblr media
That's not all. Outside of appearances, the names they're referred to as are very similar, with Tape Girl calling Glitchtrap "The Anomaly" in Fnaf VR Help Wanted and Helpi calling The Entity an anomalous entity during it's first encounter. Something noteworthy is that his eyes are normal when he says this, meaning it isn't just The Mimic lying about the security system.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The Entity and Glitchtrap also both hijack the Pizzaplex security and can both only be seen by using some kind of headset. Interestingly, The Entity and Vanny also share a connection, both of them causing the screen to start to fill with static if you get too close to them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, upon catching Cassie, all M.X.E.S influenced animatronics will kill her, and once all security nodes in a certain area deactivate the animatronics do too, with rebooted and uninfected animatronics being the only exceptions. (Example: the music men and Chica deactivate from the Bonnie Bowl and Beauty Salon nodes, but Roxy and Eclipse stay active as they're both rebooted and Roxy is friendly from the start, only attacking because of a misunderstanding.
How does the Mimic2 endo line fit into things
If you've been keeping up with Tales from the Pizzaplex so far, you know I've neglected to mention a variation of the Mimic. In the stories The Mimic and Mimic1 aren't the only Mimics, at one point after Fazbear Entertainment reclaimed the Mimic endoskeleton, they created their own line of endoskeletons designed to have similar programming to the Mimic to make it easier to program them. In the story, they learn an undesirable behaviour and get recalled. Now, I think that by Security Breach, Fazbear Entertainment looked back at the old Mimic2 line and decided to bring them back, resulting in the Glamrock Endoskeletons. This explains why their warehouse is full of instruction diagrams on the doors for the endos. It's a nursery of do's and don'ts. Now, after taking over the Pizzaplex Glitchtrap makes Vanny start vandalising these pictures, making the Mimic2/Glamrock Endos act violently.
Tumblr media
Now, I think the fact they need to be taught violence shows Mimic1(Glitchtrap) and Mimic2 aren't a hivemind, and I feel that the differences between Mimic1 and The Mimic are enough proof to show they aren't one either, thus debunking the Mimic hivemind idea.
Explaining The Blob/Tangle
As I mentioned before in the Fazbear Frights story The Man in Room 1280, William Afton and the vengeful spirit's agony get spread into various items in the Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center, but what I didn't mention is that the Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center is full of animatronics and suits that get sent to restaurants and venues, toys, costumes, all kinds of things, and considering Fnaf AR has a large Glitchtrap presence, I think The Blob/Tangle is the collection of all of the objects Afton's agony seeped into. This is supported by Stitchline. The Stitchline is an overarching plot line in the Fazbear Frights books involving some of the stories, including The Man in Room 1280. In the Stitchline, all of the objects infected by agony get brought together by the Stitchwraith, a fusion of William, Jake, and Andrew, and Afton overpowers Jake and Andrew, creating a giant Afton amalgamation out of all of the parts he's infected. Now, while in the games, things are very different, we may be seeing something similar happening with The Blob/Tangle. Instead of becoming Afton's body and being destroyed, The Blob/Tangle rebels, escaping out into the Pizzaplex on it's own causing the building to collapse. The only true exceptions in its parts appear to be the Puppet, who was inside Lefty down in the FFPS location when it burned. It's possible after the fire it's mask, no longer haunted as indicated by the lack of tears, wound up in The Blob/Tangle, and Circus Baby, who's eyes aren't lit up, likely to show she isn’t possesed by Elizabeth Afton.
Tumblr media
We know The Blob/Tangle is canon and still around thanks to its cameo appearance early on in RUIN, and The Mimic mentioning something tunnelling out of the FFPS location causing the Pizzaplex to collapse.

Conclusion
I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who made it this far, and I hope you enjoyed the theory! I might make some more focusing on Freddy, Bonnie, and going more in-depth with the endings in the future

Saboteur [FNAF, Renegade AU

The second of three stories that reboot Tales of the Pizzaplex through the TalesVRWorld theory to put in into a suitable form for the Renegade AU.
Here, we focus on the real world events that surrounded Faz Ent's failed attempts to bring experiments from their VR environment into the real world.
Saboteur may have specifically been written to be the real world scenario that drove Faz Ent to publish 'Lally's Game', but also acts as the real world counterpart to many other stories from the VR environment too, as this is far from the first time or last time Sean ensured that the plans that Fazbear Entertainment had crafted in the virtual world would fall through. And fire may not solve everything, but it sure does help.

December 2021.
"I did what you wanted," an exhausted electrician mumbled as he dragged a refuse sack into a back room of the police station, "I sabotaged the construction of the new attractions and eliminated the robots they were going to feature."
"Great work Sean," an equally exhausted police officer, Mike Schmidt, stood behind his temporary desk in Carl's office, pouring over document after document, newspaper article after newspaper article, mole's report after mole's report, "the other moles are still alive and undetected. Some of them have even infiltrated a VR project of theirs, but the details are a mystery as I've not heard back from them since. I only have the vitals of Galaad, Luke, Ross, Cannas, and Sammy to go off of in order to confirm that they're alive. We know Fazbear Entertainment is running on borrowed funds, and thanks to them, I've already heard about what you managed to accomplish today." His face switched from serious to a gleeful smile, acompanied by a soft laugh, "After what you pulled, they're going to be forced to keep to thier original, simple plans. At this rate, they won't even be able to afford more than that at all! Not even tables or chairs! Even if they do keep pushing it."
"Then you'll be happy to know how construction is going around the rest of the Plex," Sean grinned, "After the 'stunt I pulled today', the bugs I planted managed to pick up that they will only be able to make the originally planned attractions; five based after a main mascot, two arcades, a prize counter, and a daycare. The only 'excess' thing they're adding is their replacement for what was going to be a saloon, which was a part of the Foxy attraction plan anyway. Also, from what I've seen from Foxy, they don't seem like they'll be a 'He' for long, but Faz Ent did already have plans for in case this happened. Namely, letting her be Roxy and giving her a Raceway and salon to take the place of the water ride and saloon. I just hope she finds out who she is soon so we can keep pilling on the delays, because turning that place into a raceway will either force them to open without Roxy's attraction, or stay closed for several more months. But hey. We don't have to worry about those extra plans I showed you the other day."
"Perfect." Mike smiled as he pulled out a set of floorplans, "that keeps this version up to date. As long as we can keep them from expanding beyond an entrance, atrium, daycare, rockstar row, golf, laser tag, water ride or Raceway, bowling, mazersize, 2 arcades, prize counter, and various food stalls, then we can keep them under control. And hey! They're so close to being bankrupt, we're actually doing them a favour!"
Sean dragged a chair out from the corner of the room and collapsed into it. "What a relief."
"Definitely."
Mike followed suit and sat down. From how he too collapsed like a ton of bricks, Sean assumed this was the first time Mike had sat down in forever.
"Do you think they suspect that you're a mole."
Sean struggled to detect what tone Mike was using, but it sounded like a mix of concern and exhaustion.
"Nah." Sean shook his head, "But if they did, I don't think they care."
"Same as always I guess." Mike sighed. He couldn't rule out the idea that Fazbear Entertainment was still this incompetent in detecting police and those working with the police amongst their ranks, but he felt an aching pit in his stomach that he was leading those who relayed information from Fazbear Entertainment to him into a trap. "But be careful, ok? Luis and Anna have mentioned commands regarding a 'Pizzaplex' running over thier systems. We can assume this is from the megaplex. We fear that William may try to assume full control of Ness some time in the next twelve months. That's why I've been between home and all the way out here in the first place: because I'm better versed in mole missions. I come down to Carl's office once a month or if something important happens so I can check on things and deal with any sticky situations. Hopefully this also means I'll be up to date on both Adelaide and William's shenanigans on the east side of the country in regards to Ness, AND the big plans Faz Ent is cooking up over here."
"Noted," Sean nodded, "If she goes AWOL, call me and I'll feed back if she shows up at the megaplex. And on that note, here."
Sean then opened up the refuse sack he was carrying. It contained shredded parts of animatronic. Strange fabric, glass eyes, entire endoskeletons of various exotic forms that had been crushed underneath construction vehicle tracks.
"They're here. To make sure they wouldn't restart construction of those zones and WOULD convert them into extensions of the existing zones, I recovered the remains and brought them all here."
He passed the refuse sack to Mike, and the officer poked around the contents of the bag for a while before looking up and staring Sean directly in the eyes.
"Good. Now we dispose of what you've recovered in the incinerator. Make sure only ashes remain." Mike stated as he handed the refuse sack back to Sean.
"Incinerate them? Now?" Sean was stunned and perplexed as he was handed back the refuse sack, "Shouldn't we extract data from them? Give them to PI Fitzgerald to see if he has a premonition?"
"No." Mike stated bluntly, "We already have everything we need from them - thier destruction is enough, and I don't want to put Jeremy through that kind of strain." His gaze had become distant and hollow. Hunting down Fazbear Entertainment and preventing the company from getting out of hand was clearly getting to him. Sean kind of understood too: they were both several hundred miles away from home, dealing with one of the most scummy and deadly companies of the modern era. It was tough to not be stressed out.
"I see." Sean gripped the refuse sack with grim determination, "I'll burn it right away."
Sean rushed outside, ensured that the incinerator was empty, and tossed the refuse sack into the police station's incinerator. He didn't hesitate to lock the hatch and light the fire.
He was about to walk away, but a sense of dread crept over him.
He wasn't going to leave until he was certain that the machines he had demolished and smuggled out of the megaplex were naught but ash. Even if he had to wait out here all night.
His only company in the chilly winter air was the incinerator and a phone call from the service team lead, Desmond Anadem.
"Sean," Des had said, "you're a genius. Roxy's a lot happier with her new name and casing. Sure, the water ride was tested and ready to go, but I'm sure I can write off the change in attraction as safety concerns. Even if it doesn't delay the megaplex opening, it should cause enough issues to cut into their profits, given that one of their stars attractions won't see an opening day for a long while."
And as Sean watched the incinerator burn the shredded robots to ashes, he smiled, knowing that he was working to make a slightly brighter tomorrow.

I watched the interview yesterday. I also saw the new game teaser
I am still riding the high of Scott saying that burntrap was never supposed to move, because it is yet another piece of evidence and a win for those of us who beleive that Glitchtrap and Burntrap are Afton.
With Security Breach, Scott and Steel Wool were telling different stories. With how Scott described how Burntrap was supposed to act, lurking out of reach and being unable to move, it genuinely feels like Scott intended for Burntrap to be William. He was supposed to be a ghost possessing both people and machines, likely with little time for his own decaying body.
This falls in stark contrast with how the mimic is highly energetic and mobile in its debut in RUIN. RUIN also feels like an emergency introduction of the mimic in order to place the series' new secondary antagonist into the megaplex. A damn good emergency introduction to the secondary villain if I do say so myself.
Also, in my opinion, the new SW teaser is THE nail in the coffin that proves that the mimic is not Glitchtrap or Burntrap. The entity in the box has orange eyes, and the title of the game is orange. Every confirmed-beyond-doubt appearance of the mimic in the games has orange eyes: mimic at the end of ruin, and mimic controlled Helpi. This new entity also bearing the orange eyes is PROOF that the mimic gives whatever it controls orange or orange appearing eyes.
Both Glitchtrap and Burntrap have clearly purple eyes.
The lack of orange eyes on Burntrap post-RUIN-patch and the lack of orange eyes on HW2 Glitchtrap is proof that Glitchtrap and Burntrap are not the mimic, as they do not have the orange mimic eyes.
Also, Steel Wool calls the new game an “new original nightmare”, which feels like a big a win for those of us who do not believe in talesgames as it shows us that the mimic from the games is highly likely to diverge HEAVILY from the mimic from the books.
