Fallout 4 - The Commonwealth 1
the enb and the game light condition sometimes throws me a color pallet that the image looks like a fake ir photo (infrared). huge fan of ir so welcome in my game.

Oh, the neon letters are fun. Just wish you could scale their size. As you can see, I'm taking this game very seriously. :'D
I still love how Hancock just walked into the frame and positioned himself under "Nick Valentine simps". 😭

Commonwealth Portraits 1
Jun Long
"Some days are harder than others, but even the hard days get easier than the one before."
Starting a Commonwealth portrait series to anchor myself in something creative. I've been dealing with a lot of depression lately and have felt cut off from community and making art. So here is Jun Long - a character frequently passed over because he and Marcy mourn their child in ways that players seem to find annoying or inconvenient. I've seen mods that seek to fix one or both of them, but I think they're a realistic representation of loss and moving on. It can be difficult to put on a brave face - and why should they, to make others happy? To compartmentalize and partition their worst moments away for the player, when they just made it back from Quincy? People don't go through hard times to inconvenience others - let alone poor Jun; barely able to string together a sentence when you meet him in Concord, reeling from the loss of his child. However, later on in the game, if you cross paths with him in Sanctuary, he will sometimes give an indication he's picking up the pieces - along with the slightest smile you ever did see.

I know realistically fallout 4’s cast of companions would destroy a settlement if they were left alone there for too long together but I think it’s even funnier if they are aggressively playing nice because they are all connected 6 degrees from Kevin Bacon style through the Sole Survivor.
It’s like they are all collectively dating this one person who happened to just bag people from like every possible political opposite but ig they won’t try and shoot each other for the day cause it makes SS smile when they see them getting along or whatever.

Every Christmas, I'm reminded of the time I went out searching for that one magazine that lets you hang lights up in your settlements, not realizing it was part of the creation club, and spent a full 3 hours walking in circles around the same garage, assuming it'd just appear and I could move on (it never did) and after a while, I had 3 vertibirds, a pack of albino mongrels, synths that would not stop teleporting back, and a suicider all trying to kill me, so eventually I just called it a day and reread the wiki only for me tO FINALLY REALIZE it wasn't in the base game.
