If you use arab.org like I do please consider taking the extra 30-60 seconds to click on ALL of their causes. Palestine is important but so are the environment, refugees, children, women, and the impoverished across the middle east and it doesn't take away from Palestine to click for multiple causes. The arab world faces a lot of problems and they only get worsened by how western nations have oppressed and attacked them. Clicking is small but it generates something and overtime it does benefit the greater good. It takes all of us clicking as often as possible but we can do it! It's really easy and safe and they have proofs on their site on how they do make an impact and are donating your click money

I have a confession to make, I had no idea what eurovision was before I learned about what's happening in palestine, am I the only one?

I saw people do this & adopted it myself, and it’s actually been super helpful—set a daily reminder to do your arab.org click of the day. It has been said ad nauseam at this point, but if each person in the thousands of people who engage on palestine posts clicked on this, we’d be raising thousands in revenue towards humanitarian aid. Don’t think your one little click is unnecessary. It adds up fast—but only if you actually do it.
A lot of people asked how they can help if they don’t have funds to spare. This is the most passive way to raise donations towards Palestinian aid.

You should make zionists uncomfortable btw
Keep talking and bringing up Palestine
Advertise that you and everything about you is pro Palestine
Make sure nobody can even entertain the idea of ignoring Palestine
Are you part of a fandom? Draw pro palestinian fanart (and link resources)
Go to protests and wear pro Palestine pins (if it's safe for you to do so)
Buy and wear a keffiyah
Do not let genocide supporters find safe and comfortable spaces
Do not be a safe space for war criminals
Do not let people take comfort in your assumed neutrality
Do not allow people ignore genocide
- -
Edit: this is getting traction again so I wanna add a few resources to help you turn your anger into change
Daily click:
Free documentary about Gaza's Fight For Freedom:
I'm only going to link two since that's the limit for most people before they just scroll down and ignore it. Please give the documentary a watch whenever you have time

Just as a reminder as I've just noticed myself - arab.org has more pages to support on
In case you're unfamiliar with how this site works, it confirms ad revenue via your clicks, which allows them to donate money to various funds
These go to:
Children -> UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund)
Fight Poverty -> UNDP (United Nations Development Programme)
Environment -> Greenpeace MENA (Middle East and North Africa)
Palestine -> UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency [for Palestine Refugees in the Near East])
Refugees -> UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees)
Women -> UN Women
Do more with your daily clicks! You can help each one once per individual (perhaps per IP address?) per day, letting you help out with six things at once?
US-specific advice for helping Palestine below cut.
Side note I'm keeping beneath the cut since it's relevant to US folks only: if you're really determined to help Palestine, vote for Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. for President of the United States.
He's the most openly vocal about a free Palestine and is the only candidate who has demonstrably shown he is the most committed and prepared to immediately cease US support to Israel.
Joe Biden isn't going to cave if he gets re-elected. We all know that. Voting third party is a lot less risky than you've been taught - the two party system can replace one or both parties with new parties if they lose public favour.
We have both the people and the ability to unseat the Democratic party and install Socialism, and between Socialism and Republicans, Socialism is going to lock in place immediately and become the dominant political force in America.
Cornel West's Platform
Cornel West's Volunteer Events
Cornel West's Ballot Access Tracker and Ballot Access Plans
Tumblr thread I have of Primary/Caucus polling dates in the US (includes US territories)
Not on your Primary/Caucus ballot? Write-in, "Cornel West," on your ballot, or urge your Caucus representatives to do the same.
In a state where it's difficult for Independent candidates to get ballot access? Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. thought ahead and has created a new party for those states called the Justice for All Party.
(Addendum: Claudia de la Cruz is not a viable alternative. The Party for Socialism and Liberation has a Conservative 5th Column and has frequent issues with discrimination.)
Free Palestine. Vote for Cornel West.

“Rest in peace, Izzy. May the whole world know your name.”
Izzy was a Palestinian girl who was killed in Rafah. Her favorite Pokémon was Glaceon, and she wanted to celebrate Pokémon Day this year.
I found her story on Twitter through user Wendi (Diviously). I never knew her personally, but it touched my heart regardless. A fellow Pokémon fan, and a fellow Eeveelution lover.
I drew this in memory of her, and I hope we can remember her this Pokémon Day and those that follow. Rest in peace Izzy.
I decided to have the glaceon with there back turned to resemble Handala. I also included a river and a sea to reference the geography and also the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” On the tail, I added a little watermelon accent as a final touch.
I have to thank Izzy. If it weren’t for me drawing these Glaceons, I would have never realised my love for drawing Pokemon. I was about to give up, seeing that I only wanted to draw humans, but now I can express myself with Pokemon, and it’s all thanks to her.
Thank you Izzy. Rest in peace.
Do your daily click to support people like Izzy

GLOBAL STRIKE FOR GAZA MARCH 2ND
Hey, if you didn't know there is a GLOBAL STRIKE AND MARCH tomorrow, March 2nd.
I'm not a big voice on here but I'm hoping I can at least let more people know, as I wasn't aware of this until now. I'm hoping to spread awareness before the strike, so we can get as many participants as possible.
Whilst marching your streets is the ideal, if you cannot (like me) PLEASE try to contribute in other ways. Here are some ways you can still help, based on our previous strikes:
Please only keep social media posting about Palestine. They are all that matters. Do not interact with anything else. Everything else can wait. Flood the pages with support.
Do not buy non-essentials. Luxury items aren't important.
Remember your daily clicks on arab.org.
If you're going out, try to make yourself visible. Wear the Palestinian flag. Wear something watermelon related. Wear something resembling the colours. Again, try to refrain from purchasing anything non-essential.
Try to donate to organisations such as http://gazaesims.com/. Please feel free to reply/reblog with more sites/organisations that directly aid survivors/the cause.
SPREAD THE MESSAGE. Use your platforms. Do not be afraid to lose followers; that does NOT matter. Your numbers DO NOT matter. These PEOPLE matter. Even if your reach isn't large, EVERY effort matters.
If you favour your interests more than human lives, please check yourself and your humanity. Talking about them does not matter more than real human lives.
If you have anything else to add please feel free to reblog with more links, ways to help, information etc.
Remember to keep yourself safe whilst marching.
Palestine will be free. From the river to the sea.

An Old friend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: After not seeing Abby for nearly 5 years, she suddenly comes back into your life like it was nothing.
Men DNI, Mature readers only, reposts are especially welcomed!, Not proof read lol
SUPPORT PALESTINE WITH A CLICK. https://arab.org/click-to-help/palestine/
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ .
The notification on your phone was just another blip in the background of your busy life. Work, deadlines, and the relentless march of time had pushed a lot of things into the recesses of your memory — including Abby Anderson.
The relentless flow of people outside in the streets and sidewalks caught your eye as you watched from above in your little cubical. . Lost in your thoughts, you were startled by another notification, this time from a friend, Ellie Williams.
You had met Ellie back in middle school, both of you were little nerds obsessed with savage starlight and music so you two instantly clicked.
"Wanna grab drinks after work? It'll be fun, pus it's a small break from work for you."
of course.
"Idk. . Who else is going? You bringing your 3rd girlfriend of the month with or something?"
"haha Y/N. Just us tonight, maybe we can find you a little girlfriend.."
"Ellie be so fr rn."
"ok ok. but just saying, If there's a hot lesbian there, I'm giving her your number."
"I swear to god.."
The post-Abby relationship had proven to be more challenging than you initially thought. Since the breakup and her abrupt move away, you hadn't gone into any other serious relationships. Sure, you engaged in casual conversations with a few people, but nothing seemed to progress beyond the talking stage.
Your friend Ellie was quite the opposite of you. Ellie is a party enthusiast, a self-proclaimed player, and a lesbian with unapologetic masculine energy. You never really understood how you two clicked.
Waiting for the clock at work to finally strike 5, signaling the end of the day, you finally get to go home. With a sigh, you scanned your closet, hoping to find something not so eye catching, you're just there for some drinks with Ellie. Plus.
You're probably going to be the one needing to carry her home later..
.
Throwing on a simple pair of jeans and a white T-shirt with a small work logo on it, you head out to the bar.
Ellie: "Y/N! Look at youuu! Finally out of the house.." Y/N:"Yeah yeahh.." Ellie:"Come- I already bought us a drink- then lets go dance."
You sighed, the corners of your lips turning up in a laugh as you joined Ellie.
.
Ellie: "So , Y/N. What's been happening in your mysterious world lately?"
Y/N: "Oh, you know, the usual. Work, school, a bit of Netflix.."
Ellie: "Of course.. So, anyone special in your life these days?"
Y/N: "Not really, just the usual talking stages. And you, Ellie? Still breaking hearts?"
Ellie: "Ah, you know me too well." .
The night had carried on, a blur of clinking glasses, casual conversations, and a soundtrack of questionable music.
Eventually, Ellie had to use the restroom, leaving you left by the drinks alone.
Feeling the effects of the drinks, you couldn't help but feel the buzz that had settled in. It had been a while since you let loose and allowed yourself to be carried away by the intoxicating combination of alcohol, and Ellie's horrible dad jokes.
As you searched through the crowd to find Ellie after noticing she disappeared that's when you heard it.
CLANK!
Before you could react you felt a rough hand grab yours and pull you up gently. Startled, you looked up to meet the gaze of the person who had inadvertently collided with you. Their eyes, filled with concern, met yours, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Why did she look so familiar..?
Suddenly snapping you out of your questioning they finally spoke.
"Are you okay?" they asked, their voice tinged with genuine worry.
Caught off guard you nodded, still processing the sudden turn of events. As you steadied yourself, you couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity that washed over you.
With a grateful smile, you huffed out a; "I'm fine, thank you. Just got a little lost in the crowd."
You then looked down at your shirt, it was stained red from the strawberry cocktail in her hands.
"Great.." you muttered under your breath, a mix of amusement and frustration.
"Let me buy you another drink to make up for it,"..
Caught in a moment of indecision, you looked up at the girl who had inadvertently stained your shirt.. Your thoughts shifted back to where you and Ellie had been seated for the night. You couldn't just leave Ellie, but the genuine offer of another drink lingered in the air, creating a little dilemma.
"Um, I appreciate the offer, really, but I'm actually here with a friend," you explained, trying to not seem rude.
The girl nodded understandingly, "No worries. I didn't mean to intrude on your night. If your friend is around, maybe we can all grab a drink together?"
You shrugged and nodded, why not?
She had noticed the stain worsening and quickly offered, "Could I at least help you wash that out? I'd hate to ruin your shirt completely..."
You looked down at the stain, and you couldn't deny it was pretty bad.
"Well, it's a unique fashion statement now, I guess,"
She laughed and gently took your hand. "Follow me."
You both went into the restrooms, you propped yourself on top of the sink. The girl then grabbed a Wad of paper towels and ran them under cold water to start blotting at your chest with them.
"Sorry again for the mess." she sighed and made eye contact with you, only to quickly look away.
Did she know something you didn't?..
.
Clearing your throat you looked down at her from the sink.
"It's really no worries.. It's an old shirt.."
"Still..You're all sticky now.."
"I think I've been through worse." You stifle a laugh and look away.
..
"So.. What's your name..?" She asked attempting to make small talk.
"Y/N."
"Right."
"Anyways..let me go buy you that drink."
"True."
You get off the counter and follow the girl back to the bar.
Eventually Ellie came back to her seat next to you.
"Oh? Y/N..Who's this? hmmmm?" She couldn't help but tease you.
"Oh please.. it's just a friend.."
"Right..Wait..what happened to your shirt?? I swear to god whoever did that to you I'll kick their ass-"
"It's okay.." You laughed and calmed Ellie's nerves.
"Accidents happen."
You look to the girl and laugh quietly. God you needed to go home.
..
"You seem on edge." Ellie called out as you two walked back to your apartment.
"Just..buzzed." You lied right to her. goodness.
"I know that's not all y/n."
"That girl was just.. really familiar. Did she seem that way to you too..?"
"Nope. You're just overthinking again."
"probably."
..
You made your way back to your apartment, eager to shed the stained shirt and uncomfortable jeans. As you undressed, something caught your attention in your pocket — a note with someone's number on it?
great.
Starting up a warm bath you add some bubbles and light a candle, you'll worry about the note later. You took off your bra and got into the bath tub scrolling on your phone to then look at the note sitting on your sink.
Fuck it.
"Hey, This the girl from the bar?" You wrote the text, you questioned if you even really wanted a reply.
Ping!
"hah! Yeah, it's me. wyd? :)"
"Taking a bath :p"
"Cute. Proof my love?"
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ .
ok Ik this sucks but maybe I'll make a part 2..if that's something you guy's would like idk!! :)

Introducing the #ClicksForTheGuuji idea! You do your daily click for Palestine and provide evidence, and you get a free mogai coin, rentry graphic, layout, whatever you desire from the guuji!
You may send an ask OR a dm with proof you have done your click and a detailed request for what you want from the guuji.
Proof must be a screenshot of the arab.org website showing you have done your daily click. Only once proof has been shown will I start on your request.
IF you do several clicks per day via bypassing the system on several browsers, you must provide proof for that as well. What browsers you used, how you reached the link, and how many times you've clicked.
Free Palestine! This community has been lacking. So, I am making an "offering" of express free items for your support to the Palestinian people.

https://arab.org/click-to-help/palestine/
I didn’t bother looking at my watch during our session and somehow I noticed the sun was nearly gone. A fist tightened in my stomach when I realized how long she had been in my presence without me being aware of the fact. I can’t remember a time when my social battery grew instead of depleting.
Technically, I should be tired since I stayed up filtering through applications and cleaning my entire place simultaneously. But it was something about her that energized me. Even motivated me and made me excited about this project. She gave me a sense of agency, which I haven't felt in the last decade.
“You built these bookshelves, didn't you?” She snorted in disbelief as we traveled to the living room before her departure.
“I did,” I said, in the kitchen as I fetched myself a beer, feeling proud at the recognition.
I followed her manicured finger trace at the edge of the panels. She twisted her head sideways to read the dusty titles on the shelf. Even though I only saw her back, I knew her mouth was open in astonishment at my first edition copies of classic books, something I’ve been cultivating for twenty years. I bring the tinted bottle to my lips and stand with my free hand on my chin.
She tucked her index into an original print of The Well of Loneliness. She looked over her shoulder quickly to check if I was watching her, which I was. I quickly diverted my gaze towards the floor and sipped. “I’ve had that book for a while,” I say.
“Is it okay if I…”
Her voice became silent, almost a whisper as if she’d be in trouble if she muttered a word about the novel.
“Of course. Please.”
I gesture towards the couch and she pulls the untouched book from the shelf as if it were delicate china and sits on my worn sofa. I bit the corner of my mouth as I saw her sit right where I lay my head and I took a seat on the farthest end away from her. She crossed her legs and brought the grey-shaded book onto her lap. The pages were stale and yellow-ish, almost crumbling under her careful touch. She followed the inside of the spine with her thumb, straightening the first page and a shiver traveled down my spine to my toes.
“From the library of Abigail Anderson.” Her voice drops an octave, loose and saturated in a sexy chuckle. I wanted her to repeat my name just like that until her voice was hoarse.
I knew my cheeks grew bright red and I had the inclination to press the bottle to my face to cool my embarrassment. The embosser was a gift from an ex-girlfriend and she took the liberty of pressing it into every book I owned, even my most valuable ones.
“You like that?” I smile, concealing my trembling lip with the neck of the bottle and thumb.
“I wish I had one but my books aren’t special enough.”
“What do you like to read?”
“Same stuff you do.”
That stuff is novels that exclusively includes women.
Her eyes linger with a glint that can only be described as fervor like she never met someone who read lesbian fiction. I didn’t break eye contact like I had been for the last three hours. I took another sip to hold back a large, toothy grin. Her phone vibrated with another ricochet of text messages, which she continuously ignored. But soon she broke our quiet pact by reading the messages and excusing herself to the next room. Her voice has a quiver in it although hushed.
“Ellie. I’m sorry I just—okay. Okay. I know I am sorry. It just… Of course, I love you are you—alright. I’ll see you soon.”
She comes back into the living room without moving back to her original spot. Her face was thick with an emotion I knew all too well. Dread. Maybe she needed an excuse to stay longer and I felt okay with that.
“I don’t know if you’re hungry or anything—” / “I’m gonna go—”.
The jumble of words flusters us both and her grip tightens around her phone. The sight makes me think she could snap it in half right there. Ellie, her girlfriend, definitely gave her a stern talking to. The little cat-like girl I met on the street couldn't have made her feel so small. She brushes a stray hair from her face that wasn’t there. Instead of confidence, I saw her shrink down twice in size.
“Oh, yea of course,” I rub my hot neck.
Her eyes dart towards the copy of The Well of Loneliness.
“You can borrow it if you want to.”
Instead of traveling around the couch, she let her body swipe past me as I rose from the couch. Our clothes mingled in a private dance just before she slipped on her shoes and fiddled with the door. With the book pressed to her chest, she turned to me, a mere two feet away, and thanked me. A silence fell between us. It wasn't awkward, but comfortable. I felt comfortable.
“Anytime, I’ll see you tomorrow?”
What I wanted to come out as a statement became a question and I resented myself for it. I wanted her to know that I was going to see her.
“Hopefully. ‘Night Ms. Anderson.”
“Drive safe, sweetheart.”
A soft I will left her solemn lips and I watched the twinkle of her headlights illuminate my body. I raise my hand to wave her off but she turns her head before I can. I quickly tucked it away in my back pocket. My throat hardened seeing her car drive away.
As I closed the door, the lingering silence of the house struck me strongly. The missing book from the shelf made me feel hollow in a way. I was glad that she took it but I wish... I don't know. I finish my last sip of beer and toss the bottle out. I walk to the bathroom and turn on the shower.
The water offered me a clarity the cool breeze outside could not. I was relishing in a former life that I wish I had done differently. Craving someone who truly understood me and appreciated who I was. I never got that. My heart pumped with anxiety-ridden blood. Painful memories that I shoved away threatened to —
My hands are on the sparkling tiles, spread with 2 inches in between. I press my eyes shut and try to understand where I stand. It feels like the calm beads of water transformed into pebbles. Hitting my skin with an angry vengeance I could not place. The steam inhibits me from getting a deep inhale. I can't move. I open my eyes and soften my knees. I find the strength to reach for the knob and draw my body onto the floor. My knees come to my chest and I count until the water turns cold.
I opened the windows in my bedroom and listened to the chirping of cicadas. I close my eyes and walk backward onto the perfectly made bed. Instantly, my back melted. Why was I denying myself this? I lay with my feet dangling and was disrupted from the lingering sleep by my phone in the living room.
7:30 PM: What have you gotten me into Ms. Anderson?
She sat with the book in her lap, the only blankets around being a plum-colored top sheet. Her legs held the book and a small light illuminated the first page. Her thumb held the right page and her index and middle in the crease. I could imagine how she rubbed them against the paper like earlier. I stared at the photo and fell deeper into the elements of it.
7:35 PM: 400 pages is nothing, You'll do fine.
A bubble appears and vanishes.
7:36 PM: It's actually 448 pages, thank you very much.
7:37 PM: My apologies. 48 extra pages won't kill you.
7:38 PM: You don't know that...
7:40 PM: I think I do.
7:41 PM: Well, we can discuss what you think you know tomorrow...
My fingers twitched to reply but it was clear that she desired to be left alone. I couldn't determine why these casual conversations left my face aching, but they did. I reflected on how long it's been since I went on a date. The number enters my mind and burns slowly like a forest fire. The sides of my head throb as I slip under the blankets.
to be continued...

hello everyone! today (march 30) is land day, and a perfect opportunity to do something i've been meaning to do for a while - create a tag chain with resources to help the palestinian people. this is in an effort to get around tumblr's suppressing of the general tags and to inspire action by tagging other people directly
so, the main thrust is: if you're tagged in this post, please reblog with proof of donation for one of the charities/fundraisers below, proof of contact to a representative for the one of the email scripts, or a link to another material resource! then tag some people to continue the chain!
if you can't do any of the above, or see this post on your dash without being tagged, that's ok - go ahead and tag so that you can give others the opportunity to help!
if you don't want to post proof, that's also fine! it's mostly an effort to ensure people actually take action instead of just reblogging. go ahead and donate or contact your reps - that's the important part.
donations:
e-sims for gaza
palestinian's children relief fund (pcrf)
donate to urnwa
care for gaza
humanitarian aid (anera)
help ahmed leave gaza
help yousef beat cancer and escape gaza
spreadsheet of families to help in gaza
masterpost of vetted fundraisers
other actions:
arab.org (daily clicks, good option for people who can't otherwise contribute monetarily)
petition for ceasefire (amnesty international)
petition to end the crisis in gaza (oxfam)
stop gaza genocide (world beyond war)
demand a ceasefire now! (ceasefiretoday)
stop arming israel (uspcr)
stop the genocidal bombing of gaza (actionnetwork)
stop the ethnic cleansing of palestinians (actionnetwork, us)
these are only a few resources, and focused on the usa, so please add any you know that aren't on this list! you can also dm me if you want them added to the main post in an edit
tagging my mutuals @laurenbrightwing, @miloe, @agentfawkes, @stellarfoam, @duskdragon39, @thefoxdurpy, @boughkeeper-dainsleif, @esoclectic, and @wormonastringtheory
also tagging @ibtisams, @fairuzfan, @huzni, and @decolonize-the-left for spread since i follow you and this seems relevant to your interests. please let me know if you want me to delete your tag or anything ^^
also, any of my followers and anyone who sees this!

[start id: tweet made by @ Jacksepticeye that reads: "I have always tried to champion for awareness towards the people suffering most in the world. To spread positivity, inclusiveness and openness towards one another in a world smothered by negativity and misery. Not only to be a distraction through entertainment when needed but also as a voice for change. What's happening in Gaza right now on a daily basis is horrifying and legitimately depressing. There have been days where I just didn't want to do anything because reading about it was heartbreaking. When Palestinian people speak, we should be listening. This platform is notorious for negativity and talking over one another as some sort of conversational game to be won, but this isn't a game! People are being slaughtered. CHILDREN are being slaughtered!!"

I'm not entirely sure if this is working, but for arab.org the palestine button thing. If you do it in a private window on desktop, then exit the window and open a new one to do it again, it just works. Like i've done it like 20 times in a row to check. I'm using firefox only too. I'm not sure if they're counting it or not, but it seems to bee working.
fuck yeah
