To clarify some of my commentary on “Security cam” Moon’s memory issues once he finally starts living in his actual body again:

It’s mostly memories of his early life that he’s forgotten, and this has to do with the general way that storage works. You know how if you delete an email, or post a draft or something, there is usually a copy that gets stored for about 30 days or so before being completely erased from the databanks? Well what happened with Moon is really similar to that.

Under normal circumstances, Moon and Sun would have more than adequate memory storage capabilities for a day/full round of battery usage and one of the processes they undergo during sleep mode is a sort of automatic sorting process for what should go into long term memory vs. short term memory—with the additional step of sorting which things should go into storage for backups and the like, or if anything needed to be reported to security or whatever. And they can also “flag” things so that if deletions do need to be made, they won’t be deleting anything super important or that they otherwise really want to keep. This mainly happens during sleep mode, similar to what humans do during their own sleeping periods (and this is also why Sun and Moon are able to experience dreams, of a sort). If they do, for some reason, run up to the limits of their daily storage, then in order to retain functionality and keep making memories, their systems just start deleting the oldest memories first—skipping anything flagged as important.

The issue for Moon, then, is that while he was lost in the cameras, he was on 24/7 since he had also plugged himself into a charger. Meaning that he both wasn’t getting a period of time dedicated to sorting, flagging, and storing, but he was also making new “memories” constantly and was wreaking havoc on his storage capacity—because while security cam footage doesn’t exactly take up as much space as his typical formed memories would (because he isn’t thinking as deeply about things or making emotional connections or inferences in the same way while acting as a camera, so the “memories” that do get made are very “shallow”), there is still quite a lot of input constantly going on. So eventually he would have to start deleting things—starting with his oldest memories.

Sure, a lot of those would be flagged as important… but the longer that Moon spends lost in the cameras—let alone in his own grief and self-loathing—the harder it would be to remember why those things were flagged as important. Meaning that eventually he would forget the reasons and unflag them, leading to their deletion. And while some of these already would have been backed up in long term storage and files elsewhere, his own mental state—both currently and while infected—as well as the programming issues and weak spots resulting from being reprogrammed so severely would have made a lot of those files either slightly corrupted or otherwise hard to access.

Which also leads in to why Moon might seem “happier” than he has been. It’s less that he’s actually happier so much that he can’t remember why he would have been upset by the recent goings-on and how they pertain to him. Since many of his early memories are gone/corrupted/lacking greater context, he isn’t able to compare his happy and good earlier years under Foxy’s mentorship when things were bright, shiny, and new with how things slowly devolved and conditions got worse after Foxy—and then Bonnie—were gone. His own survivor’s guilt, and the way others slowly drifted away or subconsciously put the blame on him for what happened—even before the whole thing with the glitch/virus. And without being able to make that comparison… from “fresh from his stint as a camera” Moon’s perspective, people—aside from Sun—generally weren’t all that close to him to begin with. So he doesn’t really have the same sort of emotional investment or sadness one might expect. From his perspective, he’s the one who suddenly and inexplicably changed personalities—or, well, he knows it was because of the virus, but he is—yet again—putting most of the blame for what happened on himself because he can’t make the connection that the others would have finally gotten by this point that a lot of it was due to repressed anger or bitterness because the virus likes to take and amplify the worst traits a person has. So he just thinks that he randomly went off the deep end for no apparent reason, since he “doesn’t really have any emotional connection” to anyone at the pizzaplex but Sun.

Additionally… as he starts healing and figuring out that he does have memory problems, he—and others—are going to wonder whether some of those memories were really un-flagged due to the natural progression of losing himself to the cameras vs. him un-flagging them himself simply because they hurt too much. And that’s going to be a major conversation with Freddy, since one of the big things that Moon forgot is Foxy’s impact—and generally all memories of the animatronic himself. And considering that Freddy started to put some distance between himself and Moon specifically because of how much Moon reminded him of Foxy… yeah, that conversation is going to be painful, and probably lead to Freddy doing the robotic equivalent of crying once he’s in private (because he can’t put that burden on Moon, not again, not when Moon is recovering from something so horrific that was at least partially caused by Freddy’s own negligence over the years).

…There’s actually bits of dialogue for that conversation that have been stuck in my mind, where Moon is asking why Freddy is even bothering to visit him since he can tell that seeing Moon like this is emotionally painful for him since he “isn’t the Moon he remembers,” and Freddy basically tells him that the fact he isn’t the “Moon he remembers” is exactly why he keeps visiting. Because he already lost the chance to get to know that Moon. To get to see him come into his own, and witness and be a part of that growth. Even if Moon’s memory does improve, and he gets some of those things back, Moon is never going to be the same. And Freddy doesn’t want to make the same mistake twice—especially since he almost didn’t get this chance in the first place.

Okay, but ‘Erase Me’ hits different after the newest episode (lyrics in bold, discussion/analysis in normal text)

What was our home

“Home” it’s an odd word for the sides. Especially with the recent episodes. With tension flowing between all of them with ease, it’s hard to question if they can truly find comfort in on another. Easily represented by none of the sides (other than Logan and Remus) being there throughout Thomas’ day. This isn’t like the other episodes where they’re all having a discussion together about Thomas getting overwhelmed. 

Instead, Thomas feels isolated for most of it, fighting a battle with his mind (mind referring to his intrusive thoughts, his sides, and Logan’s agenda for the day)

Paper not stone

Everything seemed to... change so quickly. They went from Embarrassing Phases with cute Halloween costumes and friendly jokes about cringe and vine directly into SvS and DWIT where Thomas questions if he’s a good person while his mental health quickly declines.

In a similar way, paper is fragile and flimsy, easily ripped apart.

‘Paper not stone’ could also be a way to reference Logan’s agenda for the day. All of it can be discarded and saved for Future Thomas™ since none of it is really set in stone.

A lean-to at most

Logan is nothing to Thomas- or at least he feels that way. He’s only someone who can calm Thomas down. Thomas can ‘lean’ on him, but that’s the most he is.

And when you pulled your half away

I’d like to think half has a few different meanings here. The one I like the most is where “half” represents Thomas’ attention. He’s pulled to Nico, he’s pulled to Remus, he’s pulled to anxiety. 

Logan recognizes this and calms him down. He lets him have breaks and gently guides Thomas back to their schedule once he’s a bit better.

Half could also represent for when he pulls away from Logan and listens to the other sides more. In this episode, he practically listens to everyone but Logan, despite him being the most physically there. He’s listening to his spiraling intrusive thoughts (Virgil’s fear and Remus’ role). He’s listening to his worry about Nico’s feelings for him (Virgil’s fear and Roman’s passion). He’s taking breaks and indulging in what he loves (Janus’ role and Patton’s enjoyment in child-like activities such as disney princess puzzles and dancing to up-beat music)

He might be the side the camera follows around, but he certainly isn’t the main character by far.

Gravity won Like it always does

Logan isn’t winning this battle. Of course he isn’t. He never does. Thomas is pulled down by the figurative gravity of all the other sides, while Logan is left there alone. 

In theory, he grounds Thomas the most, but Thomas also naturally drifts away from him. Using his role as logic for quick comfort before listening to someone else for an actual discussion.

Did I weigh a ton?

Is he weighing Thomas down? Is he making him unhappy? He thought he was good at one point, helping Thomas earn a degree in college and organizing a schedule for him so he could live life comfortably.

Yet the degree is tilted on the wall. The schedule would have been torn up if Thomas was given a paper. 

Would it be easier to just delete Our pages and the plans we made?

Would it be easier for Logan to give up? He certainly isn’t needed, Thomas didn’t listen to Logan the whole day and he was still fine. He made pages of things Thomas needed to do along with the plans that Thomas agreed to. Only for them to be pushed to the side since something grabbed his attention. 

And perhaps Logan saves these plans. He keeps them to help Thomas. Maybe to even create more realistic ones. But perhaps Thomas just won’t listen to him. He should just delete the plans he has. Thomas has always been great at improv. Maybe someone like Roman should take control- he’s been listening to him more than Logan anyway. (Represented through the whole Nico situation)

Erase me So you don't have to face me

Thomas turns away from Logan at the end, leaving him alone in the living room. He’s erasing Logan from his mind, finding an opportunity he wants because he doesn’t need Logan. 

Put me in the ground and mow the daisies

Was mowing the lawn on the list of things Thomas needed to do? Nope. Is Thomas mowing over his ideas for something more exciting anyway? Yep.

Ah, the memory, see how it goes When you

Erase me Erase me

“The memory” is Logan. It represents how he was aware of his own outburst at Remus, he knows he lost control. But maybe he’ll also ‘see how it goes’ when Thomas starts ignoring him even more. Perhaps his eyes will stay orange. Perhaps Orange will just take his place entirely. 

So what will you do With no me for you?

Thomas needs him- right? I mean, there’s no one else to create the schedules and plans... that Thomas doesn’t use. He helped earn Thomas’ degree! The... the degree he doesn’t use. 

Maybe Logan is useless. Maybe Thomas can’t function without him. Logan doesn’t even want to know at this point.

I know what we said

Logan knows he technically agreed to Thomas leaving and going to Nico, but he can’t help but feel bitter about it.

This bitterness rises when he’s with the other sides. Roman disregards him, “You’ll be fine, Rome didn’t fall in a day.” Logan hasn’t been ignored for more than one day. He isn’t fine. He’s more than what he’s acknowledged as, he quickly responds with emotion filling his mind, “Well, that’s a misquote so-”

Only to get fucking cut off. Again. He isn’t fine. He’s getting ignored and cut off whenever he tries to input something. Then Patton takes control of the conversation. Directing it at Thomas instead of Logan. Taking Roman’s side. Not listening to logic.

But what if I left a thing or two

Logan just needs to stop. He needs to stop talking, leave a plan or two in Thomas’ mind while a side or two keeps him busy for the day.

Erased me

Imagine telling someone that you really want to do something with them. You both clear out the whole day at an agreed time. Then they want to do something else. You- you suppose it’s fine? You both go there and then you get side-tracked again, and again, and- the day is over. 

They don’t care about what they were supposed to do. Thomas didn’t care about what he was supposed to do. Most of the things he was supposed to do didn’t even directly benefit Logan. They were things he needed to function, things to keep his place nice, not reading a non-fiction book or watching a documentary. They were things Thomas needed. But apparently that wasn’t a good enough reason to listen to logic. 

What the fuck is this? You're crazy, turned around  

Logan is fed up with how Thomas keeps ignoring him. Keeps getting distracted. “Turned around” turned around from the task at hand. 

“What the fuck is this?” could be to Remus. Constantly bothering Thomas, getting him distracted over and over. Going the complete opposite direction of where they should be going. And not listening to him when talked to about it. 

In two weeks time replaced me

Thomas doesn’t need Logan. It’s clear from his daily routine. All he needs is someone to offer the idea of dancing or a puzzle to him and he’s fine again. 

Ah, the memory everybody knows How it goes you just

Erase me

Logan is well-known throughout the mindscape. He’s known as a nerd, a geek, a nobody. Most of the names he could wear with pride, but he’s nobody. Nobody to Thomas and nobody in the grand scheme of things. Perhaps the other sides would be fine with Logan getting “erased.” They seem to regard his name with distaste anyway.

Did me like a bro and tazed me

Logan makes little flashcards for slang and tries to use them. Almost like a child proudly showing a high test score to their parent. He wants so badly to be acknowledged, to be heard, to be cool. 

Fireworks - poof - it's gone, amazing

Thomas is gone. The fireworks went off in his heart and he’s gone. Logan- Logan should be happy for him. It’s amazing as some would call it. He holds the to-do list to his chest as he sinks out. 

New bio, you've gone solo Drawing mustaches on our wedding photo

Nothing is important, not really. It can all be quickly discarded. “New bio” could be talking to Nico and changing a social media bio to dating or something like that.

“You’ve gone solo.” Haha that’s funny. Thomas is practically anything but solo with Logan. The line is said with such anger and bitterness that it’s no wonder why he thinks he means nothing to Thomas.

“Drawing mustaches on our wedding photo” What else is Remus going to ruin for Logan? Drawing on Thomas’ degree with mustaches?

Erase me Erase me Erase me...

Erase me This is us shouting, baby Erase me

Logan is begging, screaming, shouting for someone to acknowledge that he’s being ignored. But he’s being ignored, so they don’t hear him. Of course they don’t hear him.

There’s no distress in this line. Everyone is fine about the idea of Logan leaving to go into a new ‘home.’ He wasn’t important, so why would they worry? Thomas clearly didn’t seem to worry as he ran out of the house, searching for Nico. Thomas didn’t need him in the slightest.

Getting mechanics working

For todays work (and also a few hours last night) I wanted to focus on ensuring my mechanics worked properly.

Starting off, I deleted some of my camera angles to make working with everything easier. I also set the walls, ceiling and floor to be a lighter colour - once again, just to see things easier. I then imported all of the models that I had created.

I wanted to make sure that I could only open the door to exit the level after interacting with multiple objects, to do this, I replicated the blueprint from within my Pickup Example to my Mug. I then changed the requirement for the door to open only when both objects are interacted with.

The following is my Mug Blueprint followed by the change I made to the Door Blueprint.

I also remodelled the curtains as they didn't import correctly, but this was a great opportunity to make them look nicer.

I started working on having the plant update as the player interacted with items. I tried multiple different ways and this definitely took up most of my day trying to figure it out.

Eventually I was able to create the blueprint by creating a Switch Actor Blueprint. Allowing me to set a number to switch between each model. I managed to make it so the plant will update to the first plant if one of the items has been interacted with. Then, once both have been interacted with, it will update further.

I used a similar type of blueprint when getting the curtains to be movable, like the plant, I wanted the curtains to gradually open with each object interacted with.

As I had two sides to the curtain, I duplicated the blueprint for one half, just changing the location it needed to move to in the lerp.

And that was everything I got through today and for a few hours last night. Below is a video showing these mechanics functioning as needed.

Din Djarin

You feel a tug at your pant leg. Looking down, you are greeted by a pair of large watery eyes and big green ears. “Well hello there,” you smile, crouching down to be closer to the small child. “Where’s your family?”

He simply responds by lifting his arms towards you. You take that to mean he’d like to be lifted up. Scanning through over the crowded marketplace, you search for someone who the kid might belong to. You really have no idea what you’re looking for, having never seen anything like him, but you search nonetheless.

“Hey!” an angry voice calls out behind you. You whirl around, and before you know what’s happening, the child has been torn from your grasp and there’s a blaster to your head.

“I wasn’t going to hurt him I swear, I was just trying to find his family,” you blurt out, raising your hands in surrender.

The figure in front of you doesn’t respond at first, keeping his blaster pointed at you while he inspects the child for injury.

“Why did you have him?” The voice from under the helmet demands.

“I just found him by himself and I wanted to make sure he found his family,” you explain, voice shaking. “Are you his… Does he belong to you?”

“… yes.” He cautiously returns his blaster to its holster.

“I’m sorry,” you relax. “I didn’t mean to scare you. He’s just so… small. I didn’t want him to stay lost.”

The Mandalorian clutches the kid close to his chest as if he’s afraid they’ll be separated again. “Thank you.” He nods his head just enough for you to see the motion.

Javier Peña

“Shit, I’m going to be so fucking late,” you mutter to yourself, walking as fast as you can without sending the tall stack of papers in your arms flying.

On your way down the hall, you start going down your mental checklist.

‘Closed the window so the cat doesn’t escape? Check.’

‘Turned off the lights? Check.’

‘Locked the front door? Fuck.’

You stop in your tracks. How could you forget to lock your front door? You spin on your heel and run back towards your apartment, your one free hand switching between searching for your keys and adjusting the unstable tower balanced on your other arm.

In your haste to get your apartment locked so you can get to work on time, you fail to watch where you’re going.

Your body smacks into another. You fall backwards, losing your grip on the meticulously organised files. They scatter across the floor, completely losing the order you’d spent all night putting them in. The wind is knocked out of you for just long enough to hear the man you ran into grumping about how you should watch where you’re going.

“Shit, I’m so sorry, I’m running late, I should’ve been paying more attention.” You pull yourself to your knees and start gathering your work off the floor. You’d normally stand and make sure the man you ran into is okay, but things at work are tense as it is, and being even later than you already are isn’t going to reflect well on you. Especially now that all of last night’s hard work needs to be done over.

You expect him to get up and walk past you. After his reaction to being practically tackled, you wouldn’t expect him to give you more than a second thought. But then a stack of papers lands on top of the one you’re already holding.

Your eyes shoot up to meet his. “You okay? You hit the ground kind of hard there,” Your neighbour asks.

You swallow thickly. “y-yeah, I’m fine,” you give a shaky smile. “How about you?”

“I’m all right, just running a bit late,” He offers a hasty smile before helping you to your feet. “I gotta get to work, but um, I’ll see you later?”

“Yeah,” you breathe, momentarily forgetting how late you are.

Agent Whiskey

‘Ugh I really needed this day off,’ you type underneath the photo before pressing send.

You place your phone on the edge of the tub before relaxing back into the warm water.

It isn’t long before your phone buzzes. Your eyes widen in horror at the response:

‘I think you’ve got the wrong number, darlin’.’ It’s paired with a photo of a man you’ve never met.

He is kinda cute though. You’d never think the whole “unironically cowboy” thing could ever work but… No. No. You can’t be thinking that kind of stuff. You just texted a stranger a photo of you in the bath for fuck’s sakes, you can’t be attracted to him after that!

You frantically scroll up to examine the photo you sent, breathing a sigh of relief when you confirm that the photo you sent didn’t have anything too revealing in it; between the angle of the camera and the bubbles in your bath, nothing too embarrassing is visible.

‘Shit, I’m so sorry, that was meant for a friend ’

You pick up the shred of paper your best friend scribbled their new number on while you were at lunch with them yesterday, to figure out what happened.

‘not a problem, It’s a nice distraction from this god awful meeting I’m stuck in’

You frown. ‘You’re in a meeting and you’re texting a total stranger?’

You return your gaze to the phone number in your hand. “what in the fuck,” you say aloud to yourself. The second to last digit. It’s supposed to be a 4. Not a 9.

A shaky photo appears on your phone. It’s obviously taken from peeking just the camera of his phone over the edge of the table.

‘Damn, that looks like a serious meeting, shouldn’t you be paying attention?’ If you were texting at work, especially in a meeting, you’d have your ass handed to you unless someone was dying (and even then, it would depend on what kind of mood your boss is in that day). And this guy is just casually texting you, a stranger, during a meeting with people who look like they make more money weekly than what your whole car is worth.

‘I’m a bit more concerned that I don’t even know the name of the person who texted me such a lovely photo 😉’

‘It’s Y/N.’ you send. ‘And please delete that picture, that’s kinda private’ you ask, crossing your fingers that he respects that.

‘Already done. Mine’s Jack, since you obviously weren’t going to ask 🤠’

A soft smile appears on your face. Maybe it is kind of okay that you accidentally typed in the wrong number. Or… it will be after you (lovingly) cuss out your friend for having such bad handwriting.

Frankie Morales

“Shit.” You mutter to yourself, searching through your pockets. “shitshitshitshitshitshitshit” You swear you just had them. Or… maybe you left them on the counter back at the library?

You turn around to run back, rifling through your bag. You only make it a few steps before you’re knocked backwards to the ground.

“Shit, I’m so sorry,” you blurt the moment you catch your breath again. Barely sparing a glance towards the man you ran into, you start gathering your books.

“No, no. I’m sorry,” the man insists. “I wasn’t watching where I was going.” He helps to gather your books.

“You okay?” he finally asks.

You look up at him and freeze. He’s really cute. In the ‘I give the best hugs in the world’ kind of way.

“Yeah,” you respond breathlessly. “I just think I lost my car keys at the library, and I’m running late for lunch with a friend.” You mentally kick yourself. You just ran over the only attractive man you’ve seen since moving here, and then the first thing you do is overshare?

“Oh, did you want some help looking?” he immediately offers.

“I wouldn’t want to be any trouble.”

“Don’t worry about it,” he shrugs. “I’ve got lunch plans I’m desperately trying to find an excuse to get out of, so you’re helping me, really.”

“Okay, um… sure,” you nod. “an extra set of eyes looking wouldn’t hurt.”

“Cool. I’m Frankie.”

You introduce yourself and shake his outstretched hand.

The two of you make your way back towards the library.

“so…” you break the uncomfortable silence. “Lousy lunch plans, huh?”

“…yeah,” Frankie falls silent for a moment. “A couple of guys I used to serve with invited me out and I didn’t really have an excuse to say no.”

“Don’t get along with them?”

“We used to be friends, but I’m kind of rethinking that lately.”

“Oh,” you debate asking more questions. But then again, he doesn’t have to answer if he doesn’t want to, right? “Did… did something happen?”

“Convinced me to go to South America a while back, which would’ve been fine, except we kind of got stuck there, and my wife was left alone with the baby.”

Your stomach dropped at this. You’re not even sure why; you just met the guy, you really have no reason to be disappointed he’s taken.

“Was she at least understanding?” You ask.

“huh?”

“Your wife.”

“Oh,” Frankie chew his lip for a moment. “no. When I got back, she was… possessive. Searching my phone, never letting me go out with friends, that kind of stuff. Separated a few months later.”

“Oh,” you try to ignore the fact that your heart skipped a beat; you can’t be excited—that’s insensitive. “I’m sorry.”

“No, don’t be.” Frankie pinches the bridge of his nose. “I’m sorry, actually. I was helping you find your keys, and here I am ranting about my whole tragic backstory as if you actually cared.”

“I don’t mind.” You actually like listening to him. But you keep that to yourself.

“You shouldn’t have to listen to all that though—”

“Shit!” you interrupt him. “I’m such an idiot.”

“What? What’s wrong?” Frankie looks like he’s assuming the worst.

“…I didn’t lose my car keys. I walked here. And lunch with my friend is next week.” You chuckle bitterly. “I was so lost in my head I completely forgot she rescheduled. Sorry I wasted your time.”

“It’s okay,” Frankie laughs. You can’t help but smile at his lopsided dimple. “Hey, since you don’t have lunch plans and I want to get out of mine… Can I take you out? You can tell me your life’s story since you already know mine?”

“Sure,” you smile, though half of you is screaming to just leave the country to escape the embarrassment.

“Ew, no.” you scrunch your nose.

“Hey, you’re the one that lost the bet.” Eva insists.

“I am not kissing a random stranger.” You sweep your gaze across the crowded café.

“It was your idea.” Eva sips her tea.

“That was because I thought I was going to win.” You cross your arms across your chest.

2. "Creation": Travelers can obtain the materials required to create furnishings in many different ways, all around Teyvat. In the newly launched "Serenitea Pot" system, there is more than one material that can be used to make a certain dye. You can change the recipe of the dye under Creation > Dyes.

3. Adjusted some missions in Battle Pass > Weekly Missions (the total BEP that can be earned remains unchanged by the adjustment).

In this update, we bring to Travelers a new Trounce Domain — "Beneath the Dragon-Queller." To relieve Travelers of the pressure caused by the increase in Trounce Domains, from Version 1.5 onwards, the Original Resin cost of revitalizing the Trounce Blossoms at the Trounce Domains and "Lupus Boreas, Dominator of Wolves" challenge will be halved for the first three times every week. At the same time, Travelers may obtain BEP by completing a specified number of challenges, instead of completing the designated Boss challenges for the Battle Pass. In addition, in conjunction with the newly launched "Serenitea Pot" system, we have replaced the previously difficult to complete gathering tasks with tasks related to the "Serenitea Pot."

4. Fixed an issue with Fischl's Elemental Burst "Midnight Phantasmagoria" whereby she will incorrectly pass through some large monsters.

Before the fix, Fischl may incorrectly pass through some large monsters or shield-wielding monsters while using her Elemental Burst, and get stuck inside some large monsters as a result. However, as game content increases, many new opponents will be added into the game gradually. If this problem persists, it will affect more content and the combat experience against more opponents. Out of consideration for Travelers' future playing experience, the dev team decided to fix the problem in this version update.

5. On mobile, three additional adjustment levels have been added under Settings > Camera Sensitivity (Aimed Shot Mode). It has been increased from the original levels 1 to 5 (which now correspond with the new levels 4 to 8) to the new adjustment levels 1 to 8.

6. On mobile, the Acceleration Slider (Aimed Shot Mode) setting has been added. Travelers may choose to enable this mode in the Camera Acceleration Mode (Aimed Shot Mode). With this setting enabled, sliding faster on the screen causes the camera angle to rotate more. It has always been our goal to improve the operating experience of each device. In addition to the optimization of controller buttons, the development team also added new operation options to the Aimed Shot Mode on mobile in this update. Minimum levels have been added to the new sensitivity adjustment levels based on the original levels, which means that Travelers can select a lower sensitivity. Also, with the newly added Camera Acceleration Mode (Aimed Shot Mode) > Acceleration Slider, the magnitude of view rotation can be changed based on the sliding speed. Travelers can choose whether to enable this mode according to their needs. We will continue to pay close attention to Travelers' gaming experience on each operating device, and we welcome Travelers to continue to provide feedback regarding your experience in using various features and problems encountered.

7. The new Mail Pins function has been added. Pinned mail will be placed at the top of your mail list and will not be deleted when pressing Delete Read. However, pinned mail will still expire as normal.

Travelers can mark priority mails or some event emails with the new Mail Pins function. Mails that are pinned will not be deleted by the Delete All function, and have to be deleted separately. Pinned mail will be placed at the top of your mail list, making them easier to find. However, pinned mail will still disappear after the expiration date. Starting from this version update, we will send some important event mail to Travelers via pinned mail, so that Travelers don't have to worry about deleting them by mistake. We will also implement a mail saving function in future versions.

8. An issue exists whereby if a character skill is cast at the same time as using the "Windsong Lyre" gadget, the skill animation may appear abnormally.

In "Explanations of Some Fixes in the Version 1.4 Update," we addressed an issue with the "sitting" in-game action whereby it may have led to some negative scenarios. Similar to this, due to an oversight in our design, performing the lyre may also lead to some issues in Version 1.4. This action may interrupt the casting of character skills, thereby causing various abnormal scenarios (such as the Elemental Burst not consuming Energy, the skill animation being forcibly interrupted, quick movements persisting abnormally, etc.). We will fix this issue as soon as possible in a subsequent version, as well as work harder to prevent such issues in development in the future.

Also, we have been made aware of the following issues reported by Travelers:

When some character's Elemental Skills are cast (such as Ganyu's "Trail of the Qilin," Amber's "Baron Bunny," and the Geo Traveler's "Starfell Sword"), the generation of Elemental Particles may be abnormal (such as not generating any Elemental Particles, or generating double the expected amount of Elemental Particles).
