Transmission fault codes were found when performing check engine light diagnostics on a Ford Focus.
The car would move forward when put in first gear, but there was no reverse gear.
This problem continued even after we cleared the codes and swapped out the transmission clutch shift motor.
A new transmission is needed.

FAULT LINE (M) - TEASER
Tumblr media
PAIRING. ex!haechan x reader
GENRE. exes to lovers, toxic relationship, smut, plot of sorts, street racer au (barely)
WARNINGS. toxicity, smut mentions
WC. teaser is 1.1k
A. NOTE. so i needed a break from the pick me chronicles and stumbled across this type of hyuck characterization!
Tumblr media
"where the fuck are you at?"
blearily blinking, you take a look around. when did you step outside? you think as hard as you can, but nothings coming too. you're drunk. very drunk.
people littered the front of the club - some waiting on ubers, others making out. but you - why were you out here? where were your friends?
"y/n. tell me where the fuck you are."
oh shit.
the phone pressed to your ear brings you back into a sort of semi-focus. you faintly remember crying to a random stranger in the bathroom about your recent break up. the poor girl had reassured you that everything would be okay, but you barely recall pushing her aside and mumbling something about calling your ex to make up.
that was until you had caught the attention of a guy at the bar and ended up doing green tea shots with him.
oh.
oh shit.
okay yeah, every memory was bombarding you now.
if the the still sticky cum dribbling down your thighs didn't serve as a reminder, than the memory of him pressing your hips against the porcelain sink while he fucked into you should have.
"y/n?"
and then you stepped outside to call your ex because. . . you felt bad? yeah you felt bad.
his voice was becoming more impatient with each passing silent second.
"hy-uck?" you hiccup.
he sighs, "god, i thought you passed out or something."
he didn't sound mad. had you already told him what you did? you can't remember.
"hyuck." the whimper trembles from your lips, "i need you."
"i know, that's why you called me." he seems to be fumbling around with something on his end, the muffled strain of his voice giving it away. "baby, where are you? i called you earlier but you didn't hit me back."
tears start to well in your eyes as you press against the brick wall of the club.
"i went out dancing and i did something bad. i-i'm sorry." your words are slurring together and it's becoming harder to breathe. "i didn't mean to, he- he just. . ." your voice trails off in a whisper.
"he? who the fuck are you with?" the jangle of keys sounds on the other line, a few seconds later accompanied by the slam of haechans front door. his temper is rising. he knows he should calm down. shit, he's probably scaring you bad right now, but the thought of you with another guy? you broke up two days ago. why the fuck would you be with another guy.
"i fucked up, hyuck."
"this isn't a game. send me your fucking address." the purr of his car engine rumbles through the phone.
shakily, you take the phone from your ear and send him your location.
"i'll be there in five." another sigh on his end... "if i see whoever this guy is, i'm not sure i'd be able to stop myself from killing him."
you hiccup, "yeah, i know."
Tumblr media
four minutes and thirty eight seconds later a black ford shelby GT500 screeches to a halt against the curb.
through blurry eyes, you watch as grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt approach your slouched figure. his jaw is set, eyebrows drawn up - yet you feel nothing but relief.
"jesus, how much did you fucking drink?" he scoops you up in his arms to help you stand despite your wobbly frame. the earth is swimming in your frame with each step you take, but being pressed against his lean body grounds you. so does the cologne doting his chest - so familiar and warm, you press your nose into his t-shirt.
"you smell good." you hum.
"thanks." he peers down at you with a curiosity you don't notice. maybe the breakup affected you way more than he thought because he's never seen you this fucked up. "theres a curb right here, be careful."
deep in your muddled brain, you want to kiss him and thank him for coming to get you - for actually being worried about you for once.
but you don't.
instead, you climb into the rich leather interior of his car and settle back. it stings, being back in a place you once felt so comfortable in. tears pinprick the corner of your eyes for a quick second, but you blink them away. you just let hyuck reach across your chest and buckle you in.
"hyuck i'm sorry."
his gaze fall to yours, millions of emotions lurking deep in those luminous doe eyes. you look nearly innocent and he felt bad.
he swears underneath his breath, "your guilty conscious is gonna be the death of me."
a shaky hand reaches out to touch his cheek. a familiar gesture you can't yet get rid of - not when he's three inches away from you. "hyuck-"
"fuck this." he pulls back and cards a hand through his hair. "what were you doing with another guy?"
"we- we were doing shots and -"
"how many." he breathes.
"a couple? i don't know, maybe. . . maybe three?"
a forced huff leaves his chest, "three shots with a fucking stranger?"
"hyuck, i said i'm sorry-" your hands twist regrettably in your lap.
"yeah yeah, and then what?" he's leaning against the passenger doorframe, leg bouncing right next to you.
"and then he took me into the bathroom and we fucked."
a few seconds of silence. you try to face him. you can't. why did everything have to be so complicated.
"you fucked another guy but called me to come get you?" he sneers. he has to have lost all respect for you. there's no way he hasn't.
"i'm sorr-"
"i get it. you're sorry." he pushes off the doorframe and starts to pace. "what's his name?"
the lump in your throat grows when you realize you never caught his name. "i don't know."
"you don't know? so you fucked a complete stranger?" a laugh rips from his throat, "this is unbelievable."
"can we just go? please."
he ignores your question and presses you further, "what does he look like?"
"hyuck no. please, can we go."
each word is punctuated by the grit in his teeth. "what does he fucking look like."
it was futile to argue with hyuck when he got this way. he was gonna find out who this guy was either way.
"pink hair, silver button down, black pants, expensive watch. probably drinking green tea shots." the details of the night might have been distorted, but you could have picked out this handsome stranger in a line up.
"stay right here. i'll be back."
"no! hyu-" your cry is cut off by the slam of your door. anxiously, you watch his lithe figure move past the bouncer and into the club. a sinking feeling falls in the pit of your stomach.
what the fuck did you do.

Pocket MCU - Iron Man 1/?
In Which Pocket and Tony Have a Video Call.
Word Count: 979
Scene In-Movie @ 10:30
So, I decided to re-watch Iron Man tonight, and I started thinking about how Pocket would fit into existing MCU narratives. So, here's a little bonus, taking place during the first Iron Man movie. This might turn into something, it might not. For now, just a little fun thing I did, mostly so I could write more Pocket/Tony (even though she hasn't been given the nickname 'Pocket' yet). Enjoy!
“Only you would fuck a girl who called you a war profiteer,” you told Tony over the video call from your office in New York. “She still upstairs?”
“Miss Potts should be taking care of her right now,” Tony said as he fiddled with the engine of his 1932 Ford Flathead Roadster in his Malibu garage.
“How’s that working out, anyway?” you asked, your interest piqued. “She’s lasted loads longer than any of your other personal assistants.”
“She’s good,” Tony said, taking a piece of the car’s engine out and putting it aside. “Very efficient.”
“I like her,” you told him. “I think she’s been good for you.”
“Yeah, well, I wouldn’t need her if you just moved out here permanently,” he told you.
“And just leave the New York office to Obadiah Stane? I don’t think so,” you said.
“I don’t know why you hate him so much, Kiddo,” Tony said, turning his focus away from the car and fully onto you.
“He’s the one who hates me,” you clarified. “I’m just matching his energy.”
“I think you’re reading too much into it. He’s a little wary of you, that’s all.”
“He hates that you nominated me for Chief Technical Officer,” you said. “He officially opposed the nomination in front of the board.”
Tony frowned. “When the fuck did that happen? Why wasn’t I informed of it?”
You rolled your eyes. “Maybe if you spent a little less time shooting craps and fucking Vanity Fair reporters, and actually attended a board meeting every once in a while,” you said.
“I’ll talk to him,” Tony assured you.
“No, don’t,” you protested. “It’s bad enough he thinks I’m just another one of your fangirls. The last thing I need is for you to make a demand on him for my sake.”
“Well, what do you want me to do?” he asked you. “This job is yours– it should be yours. You’ve earned it.”
You sighed. “And I appreciate you saying that. Thing is, I’m not going to prove that by having you tell people. Only way it’s going to happen is if they see what I’m capable of, and if I leave New York for Malibu, they never will.”
“Did I ever tell you you’re very annoying when you make a valid point that goes against what I want?” Tony asked you.
“Frequently. All the time. Why do you think I enjoy doing it so much?”
“You know, I think I liked you better when you were just a stripper,” he said.
You stuck your tongue out at him through the video feed. “Yeah, well, whose fault is it that I’m not anymore?”
“You could always join my flight crew, if you ever wanted back on the pole,” he teased.
“Please,” you scoffed at the suggestion. “You call them dancers? They should be ashamed of themselves.”
“Hey now, what they lack in rhythm, they make up for in other… areas,” Tony smirked.
“Do you ever get tired of being a giant slut?” you asked affectionately.
“Not yet, but if I do, you’ll be the first to know.”
“Maybe second,” you told him.
“Whaddaya mean?”
“I don’t know– maybe you should tell Miss Potts first,” you grinned. You looked behind him to see the woman in question coming down the stairs through the glass door behind him. “Speaking of which, it’s her birthday today, so be nice.”
Tony’s eyes widened. “How the hell do you know that?” he asked you.
“I pay fucking attention, dumbass,” you said.
Pepper Potts entered the basement, talking on the phone. “You are supposed to be halfway around the world right now,” she said to Tony as she tapped something on her tablet.
“Hey, Pepper,” you called.
“(Y/N), hi,” the other woman said. “How’s the nomination going?”
You shrugged. “Oh, you know, just roadblocks from the patriarchy. No big deal.”
Pepper nodded understandingly at that.
“How’d she take it?” Tony asked Pepper, interrupting your conversation.
“Like a champ,” Pepper offered.
“Which translates to ‘like an obnoxious bitch,” you chuckled. Pepper winked at you over Tony’s shoulder. “You owe her a raise, Boss,” you told Tony.
“You give a raise,” Tony said. He directed his next words to Pepper: “Why are you trying to hustle me out of here?”
“Your flight was scheduled to leave an hour and a half ago,” she told him.
“That’s funny,” Tony said as he continued to play with the engine of the Roadster. “I thought with it being my plane and all, that it would just wait for me to get there.”
“This is the flight to Afghanistan?” you asked, and Pepper nodded at you.
“I mean,” Tony spoke over you, “doesn’t it defeat the whole purpose of having your own plane if it departs before you arrive?”
“Ignore him, Pepper,” you said, turning to face your computer monitor. “Tony, if you don’t get your ass to the airport right now, I’m going to hack into JARVIS’s system right now and swap all your playlists from metal to nineties bubblegum pop.”
“You wouldn’t.” Tony said, standing up and wiping his hands on a towel.
“Don’t test me, Boss,” you threatened. “This is a huge-ass contract.”
Inside Tony’s garage, the opening notes of Hanson’s MMMBop began to play.
“Fine, enough! You win, you tiny monster!’ Tony grunted, throwing his towel down.
You immediately cut the music. “Get on that plane,” you warned him. “I’ll know if you don’t.” You gave him a Look. “And Pepper, tell him to stop pulling your pigtails, okay?”
Pepper blushed, but she just nodded.
“Give Rhodey a hug for me,” you told Tony, “and let me know when you land, you absolute dipshit.” You disconnected the call.
“You know,” said Tony, turning back to Pepper, “sometimes I regret ever meeting that kid.”
Pepper smiled. “No, you don’t.”
Tony grinned at her. “No, no I don’t. Not even for a second. Now, about that Jackson Pollock painting…”

Would you do Kisses & 47 & Driver x Ken?
Tumblr media
※ Prompt: Kisses // 47. tummy kisses // Driver x Ken ※ Word count: 396 ※ Author's Note: I've missed writing for these two so much.
Tumblr media
Warm breath ghosts over Driver’s throat. Still half asleep, he shifts and wraps his arm more securely around the man laying in bed with him.
Last night had been a long one. He can still feel the ache in his fingers from how tightly he’d been gripping the wheel of the white Ford Focus he’d borrowed off Shannon for a getaway job. It had been a close one. When he gets to the garage for his shift, he’s going to have to fill in a bullet hole in the fender. He’s just relived the police miraculously hadn’t gotten involved.
Ken sighs and nuzzles into his collarbone, throws a leg over his hip. Sometimes it’s almost impossible to slide free of his grasp. The other man is always draped over him like an enthusiastic dog, not that the wheelman minds. He can lose himself in running his hand over Ken—petting him. Affection is still novel to them both, probably always will be.
“You awake?”
The man tucked against him like a second skin responds with a sleepy grumble and a shake of his head.
“I need to go to work. Got a stunt.”
“No, please stay. Please,” he protests, clinging to him tighter when he moves to extract himself.
It kills him when Ken does this. Driver hates to deny him anything but he has to make sure he works to support them both. It’s what he’s good for. It’s a way he can be of use.
Instead of fighting the other man’s persistent hold, he rolls towards him. Ken immediately grabs at his shoulders and goes limp and pliant underneath him, expectant. Driver wishes he could linger in bed working the tanned man over until he’s sobbing into the bed sheets. He’s learned how to coax noises out of him like a well-maintained engine.
Ken never sleeps wearing a shirt. He won’t run the risk of not feeling Driver’s arm or hand against his bare skin. Driver finds himself grateful for it as he presses his mouth against the other man’s sternum. He leaves a trail of apologetic kisses down Ken’s body, stopping just above his waistband.
The tanned stomach trembles underneath his lips.
“Be back later,” he says, pressing a final kiss just to the right of Ken’s bellybutton before sliding off the bed to pull on his jeans and find his car keys.

Radical Sportscars offers a range of racing cars, but it recently introduced a new road-legal vehicle called the Rapture at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car has the appearance of a race car—and for good reason, as it essentially is one. Radical Sportscars is known for its focus on lightweight construction and powerful performance, both of which are embodied in the Rapture.
Designed specifically for UK roads, the Rapture complies with the Individual Vehicle Approval framework. While its initial release is UK-only, Radical Sportscars plans to expand into other markets in the future. But what exactly is the Rapture?
The Rapture is a masterclass in lightweight engineering and aerodynamics. Its design generates significant downforce, making it ideal for track performance. With a spaceframe chassis and composite body, the car weighs in at just 1,687 pounds. Thanks to its aerodynamic efficiency and low weight, it doesn’t require a massive engine.
Under the hood, the Rapture is powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine from Ford, paired with a six-speed sequential transaxle. Tuned to produce 350 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque, the car delivers exceptional speed for a street-legal vehicle. It rockets from 0-60 mph in just three seconds, reaches 100 mph in 8.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 164 mph.

*sigh* my gravity falls headcanons
sadly, I'm on gravity falls bullshit. I'm entranced. in an era, if you will. it may last for a few more months. I just rewatched the series. begrudgingly, here are some head canons:
-the kids return to gravity falls every summer, where Dipper is able to do mini apprenticeships with Ford. since Ford has one hell of a background, he's able to give Dipper more than enough skills to look good on college resumes plus a good reference/letter of rec
-Ford's research is only partially funded by the NSF, and gets less and less funding from them every year. he's not quite sure where the rest of the money comes from but he's learned to ignore it so he can focus on other things
-during the summers, stan and ford return to gravity falls. stan and Soos share ownership of the Mystery Shack attraction and take turns being Mr. Mystery so each of them can get breaks
-the Mystery Shack attraction helps fund part of Stan and Ford's current research, especially travel and food. Stan and Soos signed a bunch of paperwork and stuff so that way Stan can still make money and afford to live
-before Ford disappeared for thirty years, he was a well known and successful researcher in his extremely niche field. in other words, the few people who knew he existed and read his papers were pretty big fans. probably in a subgroup of theoretical quantum physics, particle physics, or cosmology
-some of Ford's PhDs are from when he was not in this dimension, so sadly they may not be entirely valid here :(
-I could see Mabel going to college for film. she takes an interpretive dance class and it becomes a regular hobby
-I could also see Wendy being an art or government major
-robby could never be an art major (see his explosion muffin graffiti all over gravity falls)
-stan never forgave Ford for making him teach himself engineering in order to bring Ford back through the portal
-there is an equal and opposite bill somewhere in the universe. she's a she, and bill tricked her into falling into a deep sleep. she is also capable of defeating him. she is order while bill is chaos, with the same power as bill. I'll let y'all know if I develop more of this h/c, bc rn I'm not sure if she has infinite sides (sphere?) or three, or what she would look like.
that's all for now

Just a little something I wrote for this Halloween season!
And a shout out to @titty-teetee for letting me talk about this lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You couldn’t believe the luck, the serendipitous situation of it all, that some poor and misguided car salesman gave up such a prize. It felt like literal manna from heaven had finally poured down on at least one thing to go right this year. Ford was the name, 1946 was the year and Super Deluxe Cabriolet said so very little to describe the smooth tan interior, straight lines and sleek metal painted burgundy wrapped around American ingenuity.
You loved this car, and lately you had the notion that- just maybe, it loved you back. It sounded so silly that you giggled a bit as you lifted your right hand off the leather steering wheel and gently patted the shiny wood grain dash. What a steal, you thought!
A happy, content expression was held faintly across your face as your eyes returned to the rain slick road. Black asphalt with a single faded yellow line became your focus, for now. For a time your thoughts become persistent on regaining a semblance of normality. When you first laid eyes on this beauty, it was covered in a thin layer of dust, with a sun faded ‘for sale’ sign tucked inside and pressed against the front windshield.
Life had been hard on you up until two weeks ago. But ever since you sat in this car and then were able to buy it, shit, you would say that things were finally starting to look almost possible.
The salesman did say this one had been difficult to get rid of. So maybe, in a way, this old Ford was reaching out to you too. Sometimes it felt that way, perhaps you were even a little embarrassed by the fact that during rides you imagined making love in here. But to whom, you had an inkling and the thought of it left you as lubricated as the smooth gears of the engine.
So you blamed age on the quirks of the car. Sometimes it would even get stuck idling on an oldies station on the radio. Like at this very moment.
Try me
Try me
And your love will always be true
I need you
James Brown sang out throughout the cab of your new car. And then just a few days ago you parked outside your friend with benefits’ house and couldn’t open your door. Yes, your car was a little..off beat but nothing too outrageous than getting a feel for something new to you.
That’s what you told yourself until the dreams started. They were mostly set in a large city, like the stacked brown stones you’ve seen in magazines. Everything appeared as though you had fallen into a portal back in time before the second world war, and sometimes it felt like you were looking through another’s eyes. The dreams were always different but with the same sensation that this was from the perspective from outside of you.
Sitting here driving now, it reminded you of that last where you were behind the wheel. You looked at your hands and remembered how much larger the hands in the dream were, and white too. A chill ran up your spine, over the skin of your back in icy tendrils. Your eyes followed the path like in the dream and looked into the rearview mirror. Instead of seeing his face like in the dream it was your eyes and face, however there was a figure sitting in the back. Your eyes widened as the shadow moved forward in the seat, slowly the black rolled back over his face revealing slicked dirty blond hair over narrow eyes staring right at you. His narrow nose flared a bit as a smile began to emerge through a thick dark beard.
Your eyes jerked back to the front as you slammed on the breaks, skidding across the slender wet highway left and right. You tried to regain control but the car hooked to the left, practically flying at top speed regardless that both feet were pressing hard into the brake pedal. Trees flew past you as your hands held the steering wheel tightly, continuously pumping the brakes did nothing.
“Stop!” you whispered desperately. Nothing happened until finally you hysterically yanked at the wheel and screamed at the top of your lungs, “I said fucking STOP!”
The car halted so fast your head jerked forward slamming right into the wheel and you blacked out.
A distant melody floated into your emerging consciousness. The voice cruned lightly,
Heavenly shades of night are falling
It's twilight time
Out of the mist, your voice is calling
'Tis twilight time
You struggled to open your eyes and you could taste blood at the back of your throat. Head bobbling, pathetically back to a right position, your eyes fluttering open. And all the strength you had gathered drained away as your head fell back against the rounded top of the seat. It felt like you had been punched straight in the face as you continued to focus your eyes. You hadn’t hit anything, but you could see the lights of the Ford straight ahead, dust was falling, wisping around in swirls in the wake of a figure. You blinked and tried to follow but only caught snatches, perhaps a man.
“Help,” you called out hoarsely. Your eyes shut for a moment and then stared at the passenger window. Someone was there. Again, heavy lids fell and settled until you could open them once more.
Your body jumps when your eyes open. You hadn’t heard the door open or shut at all. The car idled as the song changed again as the man you saw in the back seat was now sitting right next to you.
He was handsome, skin smooth, though pale and his eyes were just as piercing blue as you remembered from the terror of just before you veered off the road. He inched in closer, put his hand over the rest as he came even further toward you until your head rested on his upper arm. Like the parking of the past, lovers wrapped in embraces meant for dark, the man smiled down at you. Face to face, he licked his lips before he spoke, “Hello sweetheart. You don’t know how happy it makes me feel knowing you chose me.”
Your chest felt heavy but you tried to speak anyway, “Who are you?”
The man’s expression dropped solemnly. “I’m yours,” he said and ran a chilly hand over your bloody cheek. “I’m your Steve.”
“I need you to feel how much I want you,” he whispered.
You suddenly felt flush in your groin, you couldn’t even flinch. You were so weak but there was something there, unseen and it was entering you.
“I need you to know how much I love you before you leave this world.”
“No…” you said, struggling to breathe.
Steve leaned close to your lips, hoovering there as though the anticipation of touching you had been his dream come to life.
“I’ll be with you here, until the end of the line and beyond,” he said and placed his lips over yours.

what is happening in the world of motorsports?
send all of hatred toward Red Bull because apparently they suspended the woman who dared to speak up against innapropriate behaviour from the side of her boss (there were rumours that Horner would leave the team by Australia because of boycotts coming from the US market which they wanna focus on, but it was denied a few hours after by Red Bull spokesman, worth noting that Emely de Heus running Red Bull livery in F1 Academy has Ford logos on the car which seems to be a nod towards proceeding with their deal for 2026, then also rumours of Max leaving for Mercedes, Horner contradicting by saying that no individual is bigger than the whole team etc.)
Fred Vasseur and his full wallet are still hungry for more for their all star team and they are now apparently looking into getting engineers from Red Bull (among the names most mentioned online are: head of aero Enrico Balbo, the legend himself Adrian Newey, David Morgan, Ben Waterhouse or Alessandro Germani)
what he already achieved is get Jerome d'Ambrossio who was preparing to take over the team principal duties in Mercedes when Toto Wolff's contract expires, Jerome will join Ferrari and be linked to FDA which should allow Jock Clear to focus more on F1
Red Bull Racing have a planned upgrade for Imola that is meant to be the reworked no-pod concept Mercedes tried out at the start of current regulations and Ferrari will react with their own big upgrade package featuring new floor, bodywork and sidepod scales (McLaren also teased upgrades for their car around this time in the season)
there are so many silly season rumours including Kimi Antonelli to Mercedes (Toto and Kimi were on track for a team who Marco Antonelli drives for in Imola), Fernando Alonso to Mercedes (Toto had another coffee date with his manager Flavio Briatore), Carlos Sainz to Red Bull Racing (his father met up with some Red Bull figures in the paddock), Carlos Sainz to Mercedes (again they visited their facilities and Corriere dello Sport claims that they started the negotiations for a 2025 seat), Ollie Bearman to Haas (he was already linked to the seat and according to our comms it was one of the worst kept secrets he had that seat reserved before the start of the season already, but after his amazing debut in Jeddah, he may have gotten the attention of some other - better - teams as well), Max Verstappen to Mercedes (Marko Helmut has been running his mouth to media - name ORL - about how he may be suspended for leaking internal information and Max followed by with saying he is linked to Marko so basically if he goes, he will follow him + Toto and Lewis spoke about how anyone would love to have him) and Guenther Steiner told Sky that Toto Wolff should consider Nico Hulkenberg for the Mercedes seat......
drivers have been shown the new track in Saudi - Qiddiya - that could appear in the calendar from 2027 by Alex Wurz himself (who co-designed it with Tilke) and they posted about it one after another as an ad for the gp (so there is no way you could have avoided it)
Mercedes may have more problems in the near future because their track data doesn't corelate well with sim data, so neither the engineers nor the drivers are sure how to evolve the package they have on their hands (they were 2nd slowest in high speeds after Alpine according to data) meaning that it is probably not a problem of their setup but rather the whole design
Felipe Massa sued FIA, F1 management and also Bernie Ecclestone over 2008 crashgate which cost him the title, he is asking for around 80 mil for the Singapore race not being nullified like it should (and Bernie because he said last year that he and Moss knew about the breach at the time but decided not to act on it in fear of it damaging F1 as a brand)
Jody Schecker is auctioning off some of his cars if you have a few millions to spare
we don't have an official update on Carlos, but according to Fred Vasseur he could even be ready to jump in the car by Australia (the decision will be made in accordance to the doctors and to how Carlos himself feels soon, probably next week)
Alessandro Bruni explained that Sauber is working on a fix for their pit stop issue, so it wouldn't repeat in the future
Alan Permane from RB team wants to talk to the FIA about Kevin Magnussen's unsportman like behaviour (mate he got 20s of penalties i think they are were aware he didn't race by the rules)
Ollie Bearman sat behind the wheel of Ferrari again as he tested F1-75 in Fiorano today
after the head of Bahrain mentioned they would want the gp on Saturday to be a permanent thing, the head of Saudi Arabian gp is now considering the same thing
Jack Doohan will participate in a special event during Australian GP to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his father's 1st Motorcycling World Championship win (Mick will also driver MotoGP Honda, so they will share a track)
after Otmar Szafnauer was fired from Alpine, he appeared at a Honda event and has also been linked to Andretti
lil summary of Jeddah 2024:
after the brake issues Charles experienced in Bahrain, the team started to investigate it, because they didn't experience this before and Jock Clear said they didn't get to the bottom of it yet with Brembo (the braking system manufacturer)
the sovereign wealth fund of Bahrain is apparently considering the sale of its share in McLaren
Andretti showed off their new HQ whoch features a hint towards F1 journey so it seems like they will try again to get into the sport
in F1, FP2 session was delayed for a drain cover in pit lane which had to be re-screwed to stay safe
Carlos felt sick all weekend and it was because of appenditic, he had to get his appendix taken out and Ollie Bearman from FDA jumped in his seat for the weekend - after already scoring a pole for the feature race in F2 (the rules prevent him to start in both, so he chose to take the chance in f1 and lose a chance to score points from the sprint and feature race in f2)
Lando jump started the gp but didn't get a penalty (because he stopped and didn't gain anything from it and was still inside the starting box, so the sensor for jump starting the race didn't qualify it as such)
Checo Perez scored his 8th penalty point in Jeddah (after he left the pit box while the red light was still on and was therefor unsafely released in front of Fernando) and is near a possible race ban if he gets to 12 before some of them expire
F1 Academy championship started and Doriane Pin absolutely dominated (she got double pole and double victory - although she got demoted to p9 after the second win for taking checkered flag twice) and not even this was a smooth ride, because they had to take two formation laps in the first race after the race control had a problem with the starting lights
fun facts and fan's point of view:
Ollie is the first driver in history to be on the grid with a driver - Fernando Alonso - who scored a championship when he was born
also important note i see nobody else speaking about, Ollie mentioned a point that is contradicting what Logan has been saying, which is that feeder series - namely F2 - prepares drivers well for stepping up into F1
Ollie also mentioned that before the race, he got a message from Seb as a good luck and it made him happy, because it's a driver he admires a lot
fun fact about Ollie's 2024 season so far: he has more points in F1 than he has in F2 currently
oh and since Lewis was there first to congratulate Ollie, he has been helping him out of the car after the demanding gp
Charles got himself a new Ferrari (and yes i thought it is his Pista because he got a similar customisation for this one)
Alex posted a photodump where he photoshopped Yuki (you need to see it)
Australian gp will have The Pride Hub ready for fans (in partnership with Racing Pride)
there was this long essay written on F1 and the way the rich world works called "Behind F1's velvet curtain" and the piece from Kate Wagner was taken down without a word although the writer was commisioned to write it and it looks like the highest figures and structures were included in the decision to take it down due to criticism of the sport (or more like the world of it)
Nico Rosberg made a new ad where he sings karaoke (he is never escaping the Britney allegations)
last note: Ollie has gotten so much support from other drivers and fans, it's beautiful to see (also his father David Bearman has been an absolute icon in the Ferrari garage the whole two days)
Charles met with an Italian singer Ultimo and signed his T-shirt
Oscar showed off his new helmet for his home gp and it's very pretty!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has shared the post and commissioned and reached out. I'm overwhelmed by love.
My check engine light came on this morning and the culprit was another part of my emissions/fuel system that made it come on.
I was able to get that part and swapped it out on my lunch break. I'm cautiously optimistic that my fuel pump may be okay and it was just the CPV solenoid but I won't know 100% unless my car doesn't jitter/stall or it does again after driving it for a while. Unfortunately the fuel pump will not throw a code on my car until it's 100% dead and I would like it to not get to that point.
Either way, I will be able to get the fuel pump, so thank you. I'm keeping a close eye on my car now, I always feel like there's one thing after another with this car sometimes. This is what I get for getting another Ford haha.
Though, this one's systems are all electronic and it's. Hard for me to keep up with what everything is and how to fix things. I may know a lot about fixing cars, but all of my experience comes from pre-2005 😂
Ideally, once I'm no longer freaking out about the fuel system (and going through half a tank of gas in 2 days), I'd like to focus on getting my tail lights and turn signals working again (requires getting the ground wire redone and I'm. Nervous about that.)
Anyway, thank you again! Also, I'm always open to do commissions because I feel like I always need money for some kind of expense, so feel free to keep sending them on in.
Thank you 💚💚💚
Also, under the read more if you're interested 😂 a malfunctioning CPV solenoid
the second photo is the gasket, cracked after only a few months of being on my car. Took about 15 mins of my lunch break to swap it out with the good one

Ford ST : The Sportscar
Ford is a name that holds significance for drivers across multiple generations globally. Ford, being one of the leading manufacturers, has produced some of the market's most famous vehicles, ranging from high-performance hot hatches to durable SUVs.
Ford offers a wide range of vehicles, including their performance lineup which includes Ford RS and Ford ST models. Though they both have attracted loyal fans in the car enthusiast community, we will concentrate on the second one.
Let's delve deep into the background, features, and the different models available of the Ford ST.
The history of Ford ST:
Ford ST originates from the 1990s, during which Ford opted to add a touch of athleticism to certain models. The ST badge was launched in Europe to designate high-performance models in the Ford range.
The initial Ford ST model introduced in 1996 was the Ford Mondeo ST24. It had a 2.5-litre V6 engine that offered improved power and handling qualities in comparison to the regular Mondeo. The ST24 received positive feedback, paving the way for the growth of the ST line.
Throughout the years, Ford continued to enhance and improve the ST lineup by introducing additional models to meet the needs of various market segments. The UK car market witnessed the release of ST versions of well-known classic models, quickly becoming popular for their exciting performance and nimble handling. (Brown, 2023).
The ST line-up has a selection of Ford's most sought-after vehicles, such as:
Ford Fiesta ST A high-performance hot hatch that combines power, precision, and style for an unforgettable experience on the road.
Tumblr media
Ford Focus ST Turbocharged power, nimble handling, and an aggressive design that's sure to turn heads.
Tumblr media
Ford Puma ST Offering the perfect blend of practicality and performance, this dynamic compact SUV has a lot to offer.
Tumblr media
Characteristics:
The 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine in the Ford Focus ST produces 184 kW and 360 Nm of torque. It takes 6.5 seconds to reach 0-100kph, with a maximum speed of 248kph. The fuel efficiency is calculated to be 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers. Auto-Start-Stop is included in the package as well, leading to an increase in fuel efficiency by as much as 6%. This motor is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox.(Brown, 2023)
The Fiesta stood out with its easy power. The 1,6-liter turbocharged engine delivers 240 N.m of torque starting at 1,600 r/min up to 5,000 r/min. When entering Mpumalanga from Gauteng, simply press the right foot to overtake slower trucks. Having 205/40 R17 tires on its wheels and a firmer suspension setup to ensure the Fiesta ST stays stable on suitable road conditions, I did notice it felt unstable on imperfect pavement. (magazine, 2013)
The Ford Puma ST can be equipped with either a 1.5-liter turbo three-cylinder petrol engine generating 197bhp, or a 168bhp 1.0-liter Powershift version with mild-hybrid technology. The 1.5-liter engine has strong power at low rpm and increases power in a consistently linear manner. With an endorsed 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds, there are faster sports SUVs available, but the performance is sufficient for it to be an enjoyable driving experience. The Powershift variant takes 0.7 seconds more to reach 0-62mph, making it seem somewhat ordinary compared to other models in its class. Although it remains fairly lively and adaptable for regular driving, there's a slight sense of disappointment when comparing it. Another important distinction between the two engines is that the 1.5-liter option is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, whereas the Powershift model features a seven-speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission has quick gear changes and optimal gear ratios, allowing you to fully utilize the distinctive engine. The automated transmission smoothly and rapidly changes gears, but manual gear changes can be made using the paddles on the steering wheel if preferred. No matter which engine you choose, the standout feature of the Puma ST is its handling. If you ease off the gas pedal while turning, the car will gradually rotate on its front wheels, helping you steer it accurately out of the corner. (Cheung, 2024)
Conclusion:
These 3 models of Ford's each have their own unique features and capabilities that can be used in different situations to their advantages depending on the driver's current environment and needs/wants.
