One of the recurring philosophical questions is:
"Does a falling tree in the forest make a sound when there is no one to hear?"
Which says something about the nature of philosophers, because there is always someone in a forest. It may only be a badger, wondering what that cracking noise was, or a squirrel a bit puzzled by all the scenery going upwards, but someone. At the very least, if it was deep enough in the forest, millions of small gods would have heard it.
Things just happen, one after another. They don't care who knows. But history...ah, history is different. History has to be observed. Otherwise it's not history. It's just...well, things happening one after another.

oddly specific fandom phenomenon i have where sometimes ill find rly cool people whose art and writing and thoughts and ideas and passion etc i really like its just that they happen to hate a specific adaptation i like (a lot of eggman fans wrt the movies arent fans of it which i can totally understand! they dont share some important core traits!) and i respect the hustle i respect the grind i respect the hating but every time i read a post musing about it im like 'ah jeez this is so awkward. but dw about it im already sentencing myself to ritual exile for you, friend. dont even worry. blessings.'

our guy dealing with his boarding school era in therapy!!
“We were awful to each other sometimes,” Adrik said. “And mostly it was because we were both hurting, but sometimes I feel like—like there’s just something in me, something that’s all vicious and cruel and vindictive and brings out the worst in people.”
the acknowledgment that BOTH him and kei were having a hard time with everything!!! the admitting his fears and anxieties!!! the digging into core beliefs that probably came from his massive parental Issues!!!

In twilight's gentle gleam, A twist revealed, not as it seemed. Through enchanted forests, mystic mountains, hidden realms unfolded in delightful folds. The adventure thrived, a secret bond, the heart of magic's grand design.

an excerpt from: Faithful Forest
The leaves liked the wind, and went with it.
The trees grew more leaves, but wind took them all.
And then the bare trees were branches, which in their frenzy
Made people think of so many ideas—
Branches were lines on the paper of sky,
Drawing shapes on the shifting clouds
Until everyone agreed that they saw horses.
Faithful Forest appears in Alberto Ríos' collection Not Go Away Is My Name

In an enchanting forest, where magic reigned, A twist was revealed, changing all that we'd gained. Mystical mountains whispered secrets untold, Hidden realms held the tales of the brave and bold. Through portals unseen, the heroes did soar, Unraveling threads of a web much more. A world shifted, as truths were unfurled, In this twist, all perceptions were twirled.
