I never played the Forge, but I've been watching a bunch of Dimension 20 campaigns and was inspired to revisit the DST characters as DnD archetypes and I just had to draw Maxwell in warlock shenanigans.

Excuse the poor quality of the photos, but if I don't post these now I never will. (I feel Wilson would be an Alchemist artificer or something, so his Forge skin doesn't fit too well, but I haven't designed his look yet)

#basically: last season i got assigned a soulmate. for the obligatory dl mechanic season #But This season they changed their skin and decided to do a character reset of sorts. so to them last season didnt happen #the idea behind it was that this would act as a spinoff season. but i was not on the same page about that #so what ended up happening was that i found out they didnt remember last season and got so upset about the implications of that #that when someone jokingly went “haha are we talking about the alien theory” during a discussion about it I Immediately Locked In #and created this whole narrative that my soulmate was replaced by aliens between seasons #and every session since then I have gotten worse about it. i forged evidence i tried to take my wife hostage for experiments etc etc #the other team had to ground them from visiting me andwhen they met up with me directly to say “please stop spreading conspiracies” i cried #it’s been really fun. things are going very poorly for cubito bree. tomorrow is session 5 and im so so excited #im taking a short detour from the alien theory to entertain other options. such as learning magic to commune with the Real versionof mywife #Its going great #bree barks so fucking loud #beastlife #asks

Honestly fuck riot games for screwing over their employees like they are nothing. Lore has been the one thing that kept me interested in this game, why i decided to even master some of my favorite champions. Season 2024 dev blog gave me hope for the future of this universe, but right now? This is just one big pile of bullshit. Lor is on life support, Riot Forge is dead, no color stories, no universe map. Laying off some of their most talented writers and artists and ruining their lifes. It's truly baffling how one thing that keeps me away from actually playing league of legends is a fucking Riot company. And you know what, maybe i should finally listen to them. Well, i am mainly invested in lore and now Arcane seems to be the only source of lore we have. Fantastic deal, perfect for me. I can spend less of my time on shitty moba rather than having false hopes that shit will get better. Fuck you riot, sincerly.
