These freaks /aff are both youtubers :3, With the lamb being an Arg focused channel (they are hyperfixated on them) and the Goat is a true crime youtuber, sometimes dabbles in some urban explorer shit :3, with her solving open cases, at the beginning to be helpuf and after growing in size to stroke her ego (She's good at it but it's not really out of the kindness of her heart).

They are roomates and definitely not in love with each other and mutually pining

The Lamb is really not good at social ques (however its spelt Im sorry i Do not care) while the Goat ir Really good at reading them, to the point of almost always passing as allistic irl (deffo not the case online)

Goatthew (the goat's name) is also REALLY good at generally reading people and often reads into the criminals she covers and makes fun of them?? Tears apart their strategies and talks about how she would've done it better And makes it pass as a joke but she so isn't joking, she is just better. And Ludo is INTO that bcs they are Freaky and love themselves a woman that can be social for them. And Goatthew WILL be a social shield for them when necessary bcs she's gay or smth.

+ Bonus, Goatthew is a light mode user for the bit, whilst Ludo is a chronical dark mode user, which is really funny when stuff like this happens

I’ve been completely hyperfixated on Jesus Christ Superstar for the past few days [I think I’ve looped the album like . 7 times by now ??] BUT !! still got my CJ fixation going on in the background too so here’s the product of that lol.

- Doesn’t actually play a particular role in JCS, nor do I have a solid story for him at the moment. I’ve got this loose idea that he just kind of lives in an endlessly looping production of JCS which has gone on for so long that the people involved switch and meld roles with each loop or smth ?? But I might change this later we’ll see …

- Some thought was put into the order, but there really isn’t that much rhyme or reason to the tracklist apart from “I like it” and “it fits his vibe”. That said I want to make it known that “Hosanna” and “Gethsemane” would both be the 2000 movie lyrics and not the original concept album - as much as I love the originals “hey JC, JC, won’t you DIE for me?” and “thy will is hard, but you hold every card” hit hard imo [and fit Chonny Superstar better]

- Would probably never meet the other canon jashlings but would totally either get along very well or have massive beef with Ego [bc Tim Minchin and all that]. He’d get on fairly well with Devil [they share the “fuck you all” and “society is messed up” energies]. Jouse/Mori would probably freak him out but I could see him chilling with CJPH.

- lives/is from the sorta vague anachronistic time period most productions of JCS take place in. No phones for him.

- Has never heard a song apart from the ones in JCS and would probably be really freaked out by anything else lol

- Has probably died multiple times and will die many more 👍

Magical girl Raph AU I thought of last night for funsies

Current lore -

Raph went on a solo patrol one night and got stuck in a weird illegal mystic trade. During the battle, he got blasted with some magic from a weird artifact that is now permanently binded to him.

He freaks out, finishes the beat down, goes home and then just doesn’t tell anyone (dumbass /aff)

The artifact lays dormant for a few days until he is out on patrol again with his brothers. We he goes to activate his mystic powers, he accidentally activates the artifact too and has his magical girl transformation.

When his brothers come to find him, he tries to explain his situation but then realizes that they don’t even recognize him (silly magic spell prevents him from being recognized)

So now Raph has to worry about his Raph self and magical girl (name pending, he doesn’t know what else to call it) self without letting his brothers know he is both (for no particular reason other than he doesn’t want them to know he sort of failed a mission)

Kind of suspicious he stopped using his mystic powers during regular patrol though, huh? (The brothers I feeling rather sussed out)

Warnings: Blitzy has serious issues, mentions of murder

Affection- (how affectionate are they? How do they show it?)

Blitzwing's method and level of affection depends on how he's feeling. Sometimes, he's more than content to cuddle with you and make fun of some random movie, and others, all he wants to do is go blow something up with you and cackle maniacally while you both dance on the ashes.

He will (gently) smush you against his face. He will lick you. He will snarl at anyone who gets close to you. He will do all sorts of weird things that he views as loving. He'll bring you someone's head as a token of his affection.

Best friend- (How would they be as a best friend? How would it start?)

...I'm gonna be so honest, unless you're a fellow Decepticon, you probably got kidnapped. Or used as a hostage. He thinks you're weird for not freaking out, especially when he swaps faces, and he likes weird. Weird is good. Weird is fun.

He eventually seeks you out again for a proper conversation, and you two actually hit it off. (Well, as much as you can hit it off with an alien war criminal with a laundry list of issues.) So he comes back again. And then again. And before you know it, you have his comm code in your phone and a selfie of you two as your lockscreen.

Over time, it'll develop into a proper friendship, and he'd do pretty much anything for you. Janice in accounting pissing you off? He'll squish her. Ex-partner stalking you? Squished. On your period, or just had a shitty day in general? Here's an entire gas station's worth of snacks. He cares so much, and he's terrible as saying it, but he tries to show you anyway.

Cuddles- (Do they like to cuddle? How do they cuddle?)

Ah, yes. The age-old question of "do Decepticons like to cuddle?". The answer is yes. This mech is so touch starved, it's not even funny. It takes him a while to trust you with that vulnerability, though, and that's doubled if you're Cybertronian. You have a much higher ability to hurt him, and he really, truly, does not want to get hurt anymore.

But when he does trust you enough for cuddles? Oh boy is he clingy. No matter what mood he's in, he adores holding you, snuggling you, walking around with you cupped in his palms (or holding his hand, which is almost better), and a whole myriad of other things. He is a level 10 clingy bitch.

Domestic- (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

If he's feeling more melancholic, he might wonder what your life together might have looked like if the war didn't happen. Would you have a house? An apartment? Would you live in Vos or Kaon or somewhere else? Would you have kids? All these and more torment his fractured processor and leave him unable to sleep.

And if you're human...yikes. He can get even angstier if he's feeling low enough. Does he really deserve you? Wouldn't you be happier with a fellow human? He can't even hold you properly, why do you stay? He's a madmech, he could so easily hurt you so badly, why on earth do you trust him so much?

Of course, you're there to reassure him and remind him that you love him. That he's not getting rid of you, ever.

...I think it goes without saying that this mech should not be allowed in the kitchen. "Servo salad" yeah no thanks babe I'd rather stick to lettuce-

Cleaning is a mixed bag. You have to be very wary when you hand him that feather duster, because his mood can change at the drop of the hat. He will get angry at the dust. And unless you distract him, he will try to eat something. Put some music on and make it more of a game, that works pretty well.

That said, he does do a good job. He's very thorough.

Emotion- (Is it easy for them to express emotion in front of you?)

Short answer? No.

Long answer? It depends.

Some days he finds himself able to let the words flow like water, sweet nothings falling off his tongue easily. And other days his jaw is locked shut, the fear of losing you too strong to bear. Those are the days where he chooses instead to hold you close, to reassure himself that you're okay, that you're here beside him with no plan or intention of leaving him.

Fiancé- (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

It'd take years for him to really, seriously consider it. But you're human, and your lifespan is so much shorter. He wants to give you the entire universe, but if that's not possible, then getting married is the next best thing.

If you're Cybertronian, then it takes even longer. He wants to court you, to do this right. He wants to take you out on dates and dance with you and show you things you've never seen. He wants to conjunx you properly, with a real ceremony, not on a backwater dirtball with too much water.

Either way, though, he's in it for the long haul. Past a certain point, he stops expecting you to leave and starts trusting that you won't.

Gentle- (how gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He tries his best, but you still end up with accidental bumps and bruises. Each one makes his gut twist with an unpleasant feeling, another reminder that you shouldn't tolerate him, let alone love him. But love him you do, and so the bruises get ice and the scrapes get bandaids, and Blitzwing gets a kiss for being your brave hero. Which he, naturally, enjoys.

Emotionally, he's much worse. He's blunt and cold on some occasions, and manic and wild on others. But he tries. For you. He'll never tease you for crying, or mock you for your interests, or make fun of anything about you. He'll threaten anyone that does, in any way, shape, or form, and god help them if they make you cry.

Hugs- (Do they like hugs? How often do they give them? What are their hugs like?)

Like many things, it depends on his mood. While he does like it, it's not all the time he wants one, and he won't ever ask for one. He'll just hover near you like an aloof cat that totally doesn't want pet until you get the hint and hug him.

And it's so worth it when you do. He's warm and gentle, and the thrumming of his spark is audible. Sometimes he'll pick you up and spin you around, giggling, others he'll grab you possessively. But he's always careful with you.

I love you- (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It takes him months, if not years. It's not for lack of wanting- he wants to, desperately, but he can't, won't, give the universe another person to take from him. He can't lose you. He can't bring himself to announce to the universe that you're something else to be taken from him.

It makes him feel awful when you say it and he can't bring himself to say it back, can't tell you how he feels. So he finds other ways. He brings you things, he holds you close, and he murmurs soft things to you when you're asleep. He adores you so, so much, and it's killing him not to say it.

You end up talking about it, asking why he hasn't responded- not complaining, but worried that he might be feeling pressured- and he tells you. Tells you that he's terrified to lose you, and you've never seen him so quiet. So instead of saying it, you come up with a system. Three taps, one for each word.

He does that so often, his fingertips start to wear down a little.

Jealousy- (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?)

Oh, he doesn't just get jealous. He seethes with envy. Depending on his mood- and how flirty they're being- they might, might escape with their life.

He'll loom beside you possessively, glaring down at them stonily, and he'll pull you in by the waist and haul you into a rough, possessive kiss, snarling his engines and venting steam until they get the message. If whoever it is doesn't get the message, he'll beat them bloody.

Kisses- (What are their kisses like? Where do they kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses, like all else, depend on his mood. Sometimes they'll be soft, slow, filled with so much love you could burst. Other times they're rough, aggressive, hands pulling you against him and his engines roaring. And sometimes he just fucking licks you and calls it good.

Little ones- (How are they with kids? Do they want any?

He did want kids, before the war. Before he became what he is now, he wanted so badly to be a sire. But now, he's terrified of hurting them, of doing irreparable damage, of failing them.

He's fantastic with kids, though. He's calm and gentle and passionate and silly and defensive above all else. He'd be a great parent if he ever got his head around it.

Morning- (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings with Blitzwing are slow. They have to be, because he refuses to let you up until you absolutely have to get up. He's a cuddlebug when he's tired, and he's almost certainly stronger then you are. Not that you really try to get up, either, he's warm and outside is cold. A few more minutes can't do any harm.

Night- (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights with him tend to be late ones. Staying up until the wee hours of the morning talking, laughing, joking. You're always the first to fall asleep; the soft purr of his engines and the thrumming of his spark are the sweetest lullaby you've ever heard.

Open- (When will they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything at once or wait awhile to reveal things slowly?)

It takes ages to crack him open. The key is patience- revealing things about himself will take a lot of trust, and prying will get you nowhere. He'll tell you when he tells you, and no sooner. He'll drop little things here and there, and then drop it all at once when he breaks down after a particularly bad nightmare.

Patience- (How easily angered are they?)

It's Blitzwing. His temper is shorter than Bumblebee.

But jokes aside, he doesn't really get angry at you. Not really. He gets annoyed, he yells, he stomps around in a huff, but he doesn't get angry. He will not hesitate to squish a bitch if they hurt you though, his limited amount of patience is reserved for you and you alone. He'd fight Megatron for you if he had to.

Quizzes- (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He doesn't remember every little detail, but you won't catch him forgetting important shit. Birthday? Down pat. Anniversary? In the calendar. He keeps track of things. He writes things down. He doesn't want to forget.

Remember- (What is their favourite moment in the relationship?)

The first time you dragged him out to see the stars. You had to go miles out to avoid light pollution, but it was more than worth it. The stars were gorgeous, and your excitement was even better.

Security- (How protective are they? How do they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He is so protective. He can't, won't, lose you, not after everything else, and he needs to protect you. Be that from a collapsing building or a spider, he is there.

He'll take hit after hit if it means keeping you safe, he'd rip every single Autobot limb from fucking limb, he'd do anything to keep you safe. If you were ever hurt, badly hurt, he'd rip whoever did it into shreds and then blow the shreds to smithereens and then stomp the smithereens into tiny little bitty pieces.

He'd panic bad if you ever got hurt in a way he can't do something about- if a building collapsed on you or is you got in a wreck or you're just plain sick. He can't fix this with violence. He can't fix this, period.

He'd be touched and impressed if you stood up for him- especially because he was half-expecting you to do the opposite. Expecting the worst.

Even if you can't protect him physically, he'll love you even more if you yell at someone for his sake. I mean, he thinks it's hot when you yell either way, but especially when it's for him. Optimus Prime quakes in fear at the memory of your scolding.

Try- (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He does genuinely try. He puts his all into everything he does- loving you included. He'll take you out flying, wherever you want to go. He would give you the moon and stars, all you have to do is ask. He adores you with everything he is, was, and will ever be.

Flight dates are common even if you're human, but they happen often if you've got a flight alt. Racing through clouds, spiralling lazily around one another, feeling the wind rushing over your wings. It's one of his favorite things, and he loves sharing it with you. Especially considering you're his favorite person.

Ugly- (What are some of their bad habits?)

He's very overprotective. He'll jump in even if you're nowhere needing help, and he tends to do things for you even if you're capable.

He's also got a bad habit of not letting something lie. If you ended on a disagreement, he'll keep poking at it until you either yell at him to stop or indulge him. Both things can be resolved with a stern discussion, but the overprotectiveness is just going to tone down, never disappear.

Vanity- (How concerned are they with their looks?

He truly could not care less. He makes sure he's clean enough and that's about it.

He will make sure to scrub down thoroughly if he's come into contact with something that could hurt you, though.

Whole- (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Oh, absolutely. If you ever died, or left him, or even got separated from him for more than 24 consecutive hours, he'd be miserable. You're his life, his light, his everything. He needs you to survive. He can't imagine living without you anymore.

Xtra- (An extra headcanon about them)

This seems to be unpopular consensus, but I don't think Blitzwing is three personalities in one body or whatever. My personal hc is that since his processor split, each "face" has only been able to express a certain subset of emotions. Before the split, he was a manic, aggressive, snarky sonuvabitch and he's still that bot, just a little crazier. But the faces aren't separate bots. It's all Blitzwing up there.

Yuck- (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

He doesn't like sweet things. Makes him sick.

Zzz- (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

He tends to sprawl out like he's been shot, unless he's cuddling you, then you are not escaping until he decides to let you go.

He snores. Loudly. It's awful.

His engine fluctuates as he sleeps, like it breathes with him. It revs on inhale, and idles on exhale.

He wakes up incredibly dehydrated all the damn time due to the aforementioned snoring.

he’s a very touchy person, because after being alive for so long due to his immorality he’s gotten used to everyone he loves dying/leaving at some point and just like holding your hand or just having his arm around you or just physical touch in any way is something he really loves

other than touch, jack is also very vocal about telling you how much he loves you and how amazing you are at any time and just everything he can possibly compliment he probably will sooner than later

his memory is also pretty good and he’ll remember important dates and information about you or things you’re interested in and will probably just have some general information about them in his head cause he’s secretly a loser nerd (/aff) and he’ll be happy to just have long conversations with you about any topics you’re interested in

his favourite topic to discuss is probably history though, since he’s lived through part of it and could time travel for awhile before the doctor stopped him from being able to do that, and can tell you all kinds of stories and talk about famous historical people and so many things

god forbid you guys go to a museum of any kind because he will start pointing out all of the inaccuracies and how a lot of the information was wrong or how “he/she didn’t look like that” or “that’s not what happened”

museum dates are probably his favourite though because you guys get to hang out and look at times he saw first hand and he gets to talk about them (he will stop if you get bored though. probably)

also, he will start the relationship with a general amount of knowledge about you but overtime will slowly start to notice little things you do, like which hand you use more often or mannerisms and will be able to pick up on if you need him to step in almost immediately

by analyzing everything you do subconsciously (it kinda just happens because he likes to look at you while you’re doing whatever. he finds you very interesting!) he also figures out what things you like/don’t like from other people and incorporates those into how he acts

because he works at torchwood he just becomes good at reading body language and facial expressions after awhile

as we’ve noticed, he doesn’t really have a specific type in people (other than men in suits apparently. he was kinda crazy over both ianto and the doctor) but i do think he’s drawn to people who are either aesthetically/personality-like different from him

being with someone who acts the opposite is just interesting to him because then it’s always like a fun surprise, alt he he still wouldn’t mind if his partner was like him because than it’s very easy to understand eachother

i genuinely think jack doesn’t care what people look like (as we’ve learned. that episode with chan tho) but will clock literally anyone who says anything about his partner and is not above pointing things about their appearance back

i feel like he’d want you to meet the torchwood five (four. not including him obviously) because those are his friends who he sees everyday. not to mention hes gotten freaky with them all

the doctor, however, i feel like he may be opposed to because the doctor kind of just abandoned him even though he knew jack was immortal and just kind of tends to hurt his companions/people he’s around unintentionally but with some light pushing he’d probably give in

I think the thing about caring about Johnny and Ralph’s relationship is like. The entire point is that they’re Not Great. Like idk to me there’s quintessential they have a terribly hard start of their relationship (first three years) because Johnny can’t get used to the pain he’s in and he can’t relax enough to feel comfortable being taken care of. Ralph must take care of Johnny, he doesn’t have to but he would never forgive himself if Johnny got more hurt. This is why after Johnny’s escape attempt Ralph opens up what he allows to happen. Johnny is captive so long as he has the ability to tell on Ralph to an authority. Ralph is never going to be normal, he is both being traumatized by god and traumatized by his own actions. He can’t connect with other people. And honestly Johnny can’t connect with him! But really by the time he wants not to see and Ralph helps him achieve that successfully there is an ability for them to look at each other as equals. Johnny feels less agro as he loses his fight and learns how much bigger this is than just Ralph. Johnny sees that this is not Ralph on a power trip or trying to hurt him, which with what trauma he’s going thru via the kidnapping of course he hates Ralph as long as he does. But also. he sees Ralph is soft to him for years. I think the entire pull of their relationships, whether they want to be close together or kiss or whatever the other freaks (/aff) who like this game think. The entire pull is that they can’t ever be as close as they feel. There is always something outside of them that is there to hurt them. That has impacted their lives so much no matter how close they get there is a barrier, and at the same time that barrier is what brings them closer. The days spent eating dinner in Ralph’s kitchen. Nights where Johnny sleeps in the living room while Ralph is in his bedroom. afternoons where they’re watching tv together.

They fall into a lull more intimate than most lovers or friends or family. They are in a lull where they are damned by the same thing, and there is no where else to turn. Ralph is too fucked up to have made any choice besides kidnapping Johnny. Johnny was just like anyone else, he cared. But Ralph couldn’t make connections, and that at the end of the day is why they’re so connected. After years of both of them breaking they’re able to have some sort of mutuality.

Or you can just see it as Ralph’s fucked up lima syndrome adventure ft. stolkholm i suppose i can’t control you

the wildcards returning for the finale is great dont get me wrong. its jst. i guess at the end where all of the wildcards are activated its jst. so much?? like everything happening is too much at the same time yk? i think thats mostly the problem. bc. everyone has to deal with all these deadly wildcards adding up gradually causing some of the players their last life. which i think makes it more.. unsatisfactory? kind of? since the finale for others werent going out in pvp or traps and allat but the wildcards.

all of them happening at the same time is a bit overwhelming?? or maybe its jst me but theres too much going on every moment and such. its jst hard to actually focus/try to kill ppl? we have the slow to speedy thingy happening, the mobs dying and changing, which causes a lot of lag and deaths (gem to a vex is an example of this) cus theres a bunch of mobs to look out for, the trivia bot coming down sometimes at the worst possible moment (a snail chasing u n all), theres also the superpower card its kinda not been properly or well used during all this, and snails since they did end some series and caused a bunch of deaths in their past of being the main wildcard.

and: shiny duo again bc i cant not end this talking abt the wildcard(s) and i love them (sadly true)

them both keeping the bit where gem complimented her red skin. gem saying that she loves pearls red outfit sm. pearl trying to douse gem when her alliance tried to kill her and burn her w lava while they were talking. jsksnwnwbqle ims o sick.

when pearl got killed by grian, cleo ran straight for him. she ignored joel who was stabbing her in the back (literal). she tried so hard to blast grian off that cliff. i dont think she was trying to protect ren, who was getting chased by grian. she didnt yell at him, she was jst quiet and absolutely pissed that pearl died. i mean who wouldnt tbf. pearl was the only remaining teammate of the main 4 g's afterall. ohhhhshdbwb my moonrot heart has been revived.

I have to say, I really really enjoy your CCCC album jash. Those freaks (/aff) look so cool!! If it’s not weird to ask, how do those guys function? Like move and stuff? Since I would assume Mind (whom is on the left) controls the right side, and Heart controls the left. Similar to that of the brain itself. However im curious as to whether or not that’s true, and other lil fun tidbits about them.

Okay so, cccc Jash was inspired in part by Ena, with like the whole two sides deal going on.

Mind controls his half of the body, Heart controls his half, and when the mask is forced on (aka Soul is controlling) he has full control of the body and Heart + Mind are forced to observe but unable to do anything (they are still lucid).

Both Heart and Mind can be present at the same time and each controlling at the same time, just their respective sides. When Soul is present however only he is the one in control. The only time this rule isn’t true for Soul is times of pure chaos when Heart and Mind are able to practically “break” Soul’s mask in half and have Soul still present, just stuck watching the other two fight.

There are times where the vessel is just controlled by one though. When Mind is in control Heart’s mouth is gone and Mind has full control over all movements and speech.

When Heart is fully in control Mind’s eye is closed + his teeth aren’t present and Heart has full control over movements and speech.

When it’s just Soul present (Heart and Mind aren’t lucid), a red dot representative of an eye is visible through the mask eye holes.

Cccc Jash of course experiences more fights and arguments then regular HMS would, but they can still find harmony. When Whole/Harmonia makes a rare appearance, a different mask then Soul’s is present over their face. The mask doesn’t have a mouth and just has eye holes with the sun, moon, and stars scribbled onto it and cracks. When the fighting and such occurs again and Whole is split, the mask shatters to reveal Soul’s mask underneath, and of course Heart and Mind underneath that.

the first thing i noticed while Rewatching the latest ep is the fact black is leading the team back to the dropship!!! like i get it's likely because roda wanted green to watch navy from behind, but i like the idea that green LET black lead the team back because yknow... takes after them... IDK i just love seeing black being leader 2.0 for this team, it's what they deserve!!!

look at them turning around to see whats going on. not rushing the team to hurry up and pick up the pace, they be lookin back to check on them... good fella

I have recently been consumed by thoughts of my latest long fic project (color-centric fic where he ends up in Something New right after escaping the void) and I need to rant about it somewhere, so here's some fun facts:

- Killer figures out that Color doesn't belong to their AU well before Chara does. His earliest sign of rebellion is not telling them about it

- Because of that, when Chara goes to reset the first time after meeting Color, Killer is actually somewhat disappointed about it (he really wanted to dissect the guy) since he assumes it's gonna send Color back to where he came from or erase him from existence. He doesn't say anything about it because he could never so directly defy Chara and the Player

- Color is a smart boy and he clocks that there is some kind of outside influence pretty much immediately from the smell of the AU (his and Killer's freaks very much do match)

- The Souls are really chatty and they're one of my favorite parts of writing this fic

- Perseverance and Chara are both romance-repulsed and they will suffer because of it since I cannot emphasize enough how weird Killer and Color are about each other from the get go. Someone needs to put them down I swear

- Color is also weird about Papyrus but in a very different way. His brother forgetting about him really fucked with his head and it's gonna show. A lot

- Color is also weird about Toriel, but to a lesser extent

- Color has so many issues... landing on Something New was definitely not great for him. Buddy needed some time to heal before helping anyone, but his stubborn ass will never once admit that. He'd rather die

- The only thing Color doesn't struggle with is intimidating Chara. They clocked in 0.1 seconds that he's not an opponent they can beat, even with all of their determination...

Color also being very weird about Papyrus and Toriel makes complete sense to me. Bro has a lot to unpack about his old life and his old identity and his old relationships of any kind. Assuming he’s accepted that it’s his old life yet at all.

I’m gonna eat this up as soon as it’s posted mark my words.

another dandys world analysis for the freaks of my phone /affe

been a bit since ive titled my rambles! anyways, while my main focus is will be shrimpo, i will be including mini analysis on other toons (and will even do some by request)! lets talk about the ichor.

if you dont want a long ramble? *tdlr*: the twisteds are not the opposites of themselves, but who they truly are. the reason shrimpo isnt changed personality wise is due to the fact that shrimpos very nature isnt detailed enough to have desires beyond his anger, no matter if he wants it or not.

want the full ramble? look on below! (i will be referencing dialogues without screenshots, be aware)

at first glance its understandable how the twisted forms are opposites to their toon counterparts. finn becomes slow and inflicts slowness when machines are completed while his toon is fast and gains speed from machines, glisten turns from confidence and self reliance to insecure and requiring the physical support of others, even dandy turns from an elevator aid who doesnt mess with the events outside the elevator and easy to ignore to a harmful and lethal twisted who is very involved (when you finish machines he goes to them) and very hard to ignore (his music box plays the entire time youre on the floor, his massive size causes him to be hard to not notice, etc).

however, i doubt this to be the case, for theres a couple details that dont line up.

take finn for example. yes, his twisted ability does directly parallel his passive ability, however this isnt seen in personality. finn is a happy guy, making jokes and having fun even in the face of danger. if the ichor twists toons to their opposite selves, itd be expected that hed change personality to, being less friendly and cheerful. he *isnt* though! both twisted and toon finn are smiling!

thus, the idea that theyre being their true selves came to mind.

finn is, while violent as a twisted, a happy guy, eager to follow the player around, even as his lower half is completely gone, as if ripped off. while in terms of skills he has completely swapped, under all the ichor is the same fishbowl. this isnt the opposite of who finn is, but rather who he truly is. a happy guy who cares for his friends deeply and loves to have good times with them. he doesnt feel fear or anger when looking at them as he finds a friend in anybody, even if they dont want to be his friend. of course, he holds no true desire to hurt any of them. their "twisting" can twist their desires and views, turning their eyes red and distorting their bodies. while it is, in my mind, their true selves, it is the ease it takes to twist their wishes that turns them violent, as their ideas are stretched and thinned to their bare bones and their wishes warp to their unbelievable worst ends.

this idea can apply to those who even seemed to have became their opposite selves, as many of the toons, on closer inspection, are not truthful on who they are. lets use again from our example dandy. on the outside, dandy is as i described, an elevator aid who tries his best to provide helpful supplies and doesnt get involved with the outside affairs of the elevator. however, as he is twisted, he is cruel and very violent, investigating machines when he hears their finish and making his presence known when he isnt in line of sight. this however, is a front, as twisted dandy is truly who dandy wants to be, who he is. as you attempt a dandys run, where you are able to get dandys twisted by not buying items from his shop (its not a guarantee at first, but by around floor 16 he will be almost bound to show up), you see the petals peel away to show the more sincere sinister pollen inside (yes, flower puns, my show so i do what i want /lh). he becomes more angry, more demanding of attention, even shaking with anger at a certain level. dandy isnt truly doing this shop out of the kindness of his heart. dandy wants the attention, to be validated as the hero, and being "helpful" (to sell items you can more often than not find on the ground for items he believes he owns) while calling you ungrateful if you turn it down. as he twists, he no longer hides who he is as his truth becomes violent, a flower who wants to outshine the sun and believe hes better for it.

glisten isnt free from this either! while glisten from the outside appears to be a confident toon who knows his worth and isnt afraid to flaunt it, this isnt the truth. by looking at his dialogue, he seems to prioritize how others see him, which is especially noticed in one of his dialogues with rodger. rodger expresses concern about glisten, to which he tells him something along the lines of "you can see i know how to care for myself", rodger says he watched glisten walk into a wall the other day, which glisten denies. there is, of course, a bit more in depth of what was actually said, but the main point is there: glisten is more of a wreck than he is willing to let on. his self confidence can only come in when it first is made by someone else. one compliment he can allow to spiral into a whole mood boost. however, as glisten becomes in some scenario isolated and left for the ichor to take over him (important wording to me, on glistens twisted description it uses the phrase "it is not advised to leave him to succumb to his affliction"), he is left without a way to properly cover up who he truly is, how the confidence he uses is reflected by those who look into his eyes. he doesnt become the opposite of himself, but rather who he truly is, slowly corrupting until the fear of loneliness consumes him and he turns to the desperate fear-holding toon hes always been.

lets even take a toon i didnt mention at first, toodles. toodles is very happy-go-lucky (more or less literal with her ability), just a small girl who wants to prove her worth. she wants to be braver than life and prove she provides as much worth as anybody else here. as monsters of her friends appear, she tries to seem as though the darkness is the least of her concerns. however, as her twisted, while she still skips around and has her fun, she holds much more childish behavior. she crawls towards the player, she has a low attention span, she skips around (this one is seen with regular toodles, i am aware, theres a reason i pointed it out). while both her regular toon self and her twisted form are both children, toodles tries to pretend shes more than that in a sense, being a kid only by age but working as well as an adult would. however, in truth, she is just that: a kid. even if her attempts to seem more mature than she truly is arent exactly successful, she still is hiding who she is, and as such, her twisted self (while very similar) acts like the young girl she is.

i can connect this back to basically any toon and twisted (which i will upon request), but there is, among all of my connections, an outlier: shrimpo. i have rambled to friends as well as in my last post, i do not think shrimpo is truly the hateful bully he pretends to be. however, by my logic here, would shrimpo not be kinder? would he not be more passive, such as connie or razzle and dazzle? i think not, for one crucial reason:

even if shrimpo is not a bully, he doesnt know how to not be one.

it is safe to assume the toons act similarly to how they did in the show, or at the very least were designed to be these characters. however, to translate a character to human becomes an issue once their regular setting is taken from them and they are no longer simply a character, but more. their ideals are not their own, but their creators vision of them. each gardenview character, from dandy to eggson, all express complexity. they have multiple kinds of bonds, have their interests and dislikes, speech patterns vary, even their own styles and color schemes (which, while can be similar to some, are not complete copies of anyone elses).

this complexity, strangely, is not seen in shrimpo, a character designed only to hate and be cruel. if he is given complexity, it allows him to grow away from being hateful, which is undesired, as (to quote his poster) nobody likes a bully, and finding something beyond bullying makes him not a complete bully. shrimpo, from how i see it, holds variations of hate, some maybe more genuine than others. but on the most part? i dont think shrimpo truly hates everything (which, it is apparently canon, since one of the creators confirmed that shrimpo likes one thing, but i can talk about this someday else). however, as a bully, shrimpo lacks the complexity to know how to express anything but hate. screaming and yelling, this is his specialty. to be kind? to be caring? shrimpo is unaware of how to. shrimpos nature, by design, is ever so flat, so his lack of personality change comes from how he lacks the ability to be anything else. there is nothing to be "twisted" into because, whether or not shrimpo wants, he is nothing more than a bully. and you know the thing about those?

nobody likes them. whether the bully likes it or not.
