Pierre doesn't just dislike the man he's kissing, no he despises him, he has done for as long as he can remember at least since Esteban had cheated in their karting completion's  If it was up to Pierre, he would continue the way they are, just acting like Esteban doesn't exist, at least unless there is a camera in his face.

But no, after Japan, Las vegas and Abu Dhabi, Alpine said enough is enough, their antic's are costing the team with Esteban ignoring team orders and Pierre himself arguing on the radio, in his honest opinion those radio messages were deserved he can't help being passionate and after all Esteban is a twat.

So the only reason Pierre is kissing Esteban because Alpine said they to sort it out and his beef with Esteban is just not worth losing his seat over.

I can't believe I didn't know this existed until now, the french tv channel Canal + made a short documentary series about Alpine. The French Team with their French drivers sounds like the best opportunity to get more views from their french audience. With the name "Bleu, blanc, vite" translating to "Blue, white, fast", it's an obvious reference to the French Flag being blue, white and red and often the french will use the expression "blue, white and red" to designate something typically french. So ! We're back to earlier this year when Esteban and Pierre went to their old karting track in Normandy. Here's what you didn't see in the Sky sports video (or even L'Equipe for those who went to watch the french youtube channel). They're going back to their karting days, with brand new karts this time and of course they're not going to risk anything so they have to wear a rib protector.
