Everybody is always banging on about Pipa pipa. Nobody is ever talking about how fucked up Hemiphractidae reproduction is

Like, they range from concealed carry, like this Gastrotheca orophylax

which they achieve with a pouch that has a weird ass opening (lack of hyphenation intentional) (not actually anywhere near the cloaca of the frog) (this has earned them the common name 'marsupial frogs' for a very obvious reason)

I am doing okay. I’m in a little bit of a slump but the weather has finally improved after a week of rain and some snow. This was unfortunate timing though bc I now have a whole week off work at the clinic and I prefer to keep myself busy while I’m grieving, otherwise I just sit around and mope and that’s no good for my mental health. When I got home after the euthanasia yesterday a Kermit the frog shirt I’d ordered had been delivered. That was cool.

My family was the cast of Family Guy, staying in a house built into a really big tree that was haunted by a big monster that couldn’t get onto the second floor. The owner of the house (a talking frog) kept trying to get us eaten every night by baiting us into a large bathtub with garlic bread, where the monster could get at us. Brian died because he wanted a cigarette.

I was recently gifted this cute little frog friend!! (^_^) <3 He has wire in his limbs so he's poseable. I made the little sweater for him with some pretty multi-coloured, earth-toned yarn.

I also made one last row for my greyscale blanket. I recently figured out the ghost and eye squares, so I wanted to include them in it.

The third thing I made is a little travel sewing kit. It's about the size of a deck of cards (though much lighter) and has a pocket (for small pools of thread) and two fastened straps inside (for needles and pins). I also used a couple small corks as substitutes for thread spools.
