Could you write a pato x reader who have been doing long distance and the reader randomly decided to surprise him?

im sorry ive been so MIA i love you all and miss writing for pato. life has been so. crazy. recently.

YN loves a lot of things about Pato. How adventurous he is, his love of animals, how outgoing and funny he is, but she does not love his job. Ok, maybe being able to say your super hot boyfriend is also a super cool race car driver has its perks, but him traveling so often is definitely not a perk.

When they met in October, YN knew she had found her person. She never believed in love at first sight until him. YN is a school teacher in San Antonio, working extra hours after school bartending to pay her bills. She met Pato when he visited the bar, and they instantly clicked.

If she had known he lived over a thousand miles away, she probably would have never answered his text. None the less, they made long distance work, Pato stayed most of the off-season in Texas, and by the time the season really picked up, YN was able to travel to many of the races on her summer break.

August has to be the worst month of the year. YN is exhausted, getting back into the rhythm of working two jobs, and she misses her boyfriend. She sounds childish even to herself, like one of her students who doesn’t want to separate from their significant other for chem class, but she can’t help that every night when she lays down she misses his body next to hers.

As the season is wrapping up, YN knows Pato is ready for it to be over. He misses his family and Mexico, and because he’s out of contention for the championship, he’s already focused on next season. YN knows that going into Nashville, Pato is dreading the entire weekend.

YN hates seeing Pato so upset, and wants to do something to cheer him up. After talking with Felix, who told her that all Pato does is mope around and complain that she’s so far (which secretly makes YN happy to hear), she decides to surprise Pato in Nashville.

YN was miraculously able to get time off from both jobs, making her able to take a long weekend to fly out and see him. After planning with Felix, YN was able to secure his schedule. When she arrived at the track, Pato would be in practice one, giving her plenty of time to sneak into his bus.

YN had a spare bus key from the summer when she was often at the track with Pato, and let herself into his bus. She decided to begin making dinner while she waited for him to come back.

As she put the chicken in the oven, she heard a key turn in the door. When Pato walks in and sees her, he drops his belongings on the counter and immediately wraps her into a hug.

“What are you doing here!” His voice is muffled by her hair, and she can’t see his face, but she can tell how excited he is.

“I missed you, and we’ve been apart for way too long, I wanted to come see you.”

Pulling back to look at her face he says, “You have no idea how happy I am to see you, I can’t believe your real.” He jokingly inspects her face, turning her head from side to side.

“You’re ridiculous” She laughs at him pulling his hands away from her face.

“You’re incredible.” He finally kisses her and she feels as if it’s scratching a month long itch. “By the way, if you don’t move to Indiana this year I’m sure to lose my mind.”

You wonder why Destiel fics that also have Sam in a relationship don't feature Samwena? It's because it's so much easier to get him out of the way on a hunt with Eileen, or off living a normal life with Jess. Samwena is too much chaos. It's mystery and magic, it's intriguing, it's trouble waiting to happen. And let's face it, it's hot. Too much work when the writer just wants to center Destiel and have Sam there to say "Get a room, you two."

I was talking about fics where Sam's relationship is an entire subplot, not just authors dropping in a token Sam mention.

But if we're going with the token Sam mention, then I don't completely agree with this take. Don't get me wrong, I agree with your 2nd paragraph 100% 😍 But any writer worth their salt would be able to have an intriguing secondary dynamic in the background, not upstaging the main pair. And there are too many well-written Destiel fics out there for this to boil down to a case of bad and/or lazy writing choices.

With the caveat that I'm excluding fics written before Rowena debuted (because iirc the only ships for Sam at that point that didn't involve abuse dynamics were SamJess and I think Sabriel? idk I don't read Sabriel), I think Sam gets paired with Eileen or Jess a lot for the same reason way too many Destiel shippers are so invested in human!Cas end game: the Destiel section of the fandom is full of boring normies lol. SamJess and Saileen are safe and "normal."

Can you write pato x reader where the reader’s family just really loves him and is always hinting at him to propose and it’s just super sweet

I didn’t die, I’ve just been sooo busy with work and school, but things are beginning to slow down. At the very least I’m on vacation for a week around Thanksgiving and will write a lot then.

You’ve known Pato for about as long as you can remember. Your brother grew up karting against him and you were best friends with Elba. The siblings of those who carted together were pretty close, all traveling to the same races and hanging out with each other there.

Even though you were only a year older than him, Pato was always just Elba’s little brother to you, and then he started moving around Latin America and Europe and your brother stayed in North America. That was until he started racing for the Mazda Road to Indy and you started to realize how much he’d grown up, both of you had, but he was so different now. You saw him a lot while there with your brother, and you began to spend more and more time with him. Before you knew it you were falling hopelessly for him.

You’d now been together for over five years, and everything is as perfect as possible. Beside Pato being an incredible racer and the most perfect boyfriend, he’s extremely close with your family.

Him and your brother ended up becoming a rookie in Indy the same year as Pato, and the three of you would travel to all of the races together. When you would go to dinner at your parents, they absolutely doted on him every minute of the day. If he’d won a race recently your mom would have a celebration desert waiting for him, and your dad would always tell him he wants no one else for his daughter.

Your younger cousins all loved him, making him play soccer with them for hours.

When you’re at a family reunion your family can’t get enough of him. He’s just barely gotten to sit down from playing with your cousins when your aunts and uncles begin bombarding him. Asking when he’s going to propose, and when you’ll start a family of your own. You smile to yourself as he gets flustered by the question, turning red in the face.

As he tries to laugh the questions off, and desperately searches for a new topic, you look down at your hands in your lap and begin to play with the ring on your right hand. It feels weird there, you’ve already grown accustomed to its spot on your left hand. You see a faint tan line where your fourth finger meets the knuckle, probably from the week you spent at Punta De Mita right after he proposed.

You decided to put him out of his misery. Switching your ring to its rightful spot and holding up your hand, “He actually proposed last week.”

Your family erupts into cheers and immediately begins hugging both of you, saying they’re so excited he’ll officially be part of the family.

Is the Goat a clone created from their darker qualities? Is the Goat an alternate universe version of themselves? Is the Goat from an alternate version of their world but not the Lamb specifically? Could the Goat be an alternate version of Narinder in the Lambs position? Could the Goat be a resurrected family, friend, or lover that went horribly wrong because it was their first attempt at resurrection and they tried resurrecting someone from before they had the red crown?

That’s a fun and interesting interpretation of Twilight! Hope is probably one of the stronger parts of friendship honestly, you hope a friend is doing well, you hope they start feeling better when they’re sick, you hope you can help them whenever possible! I can see Twilight representing hope. She hopes to resolve things peacefully, she hopes to help her friends, she hopes to impress her teacher and princess. Sometimes she takes her hopes and dreams to seriously/far like how her friends can take their elements too seriously or far. Rarity can be too generous and overwork herself as an example.

ah this guy. one of the characters of all time. honestly whatever i was cooking with him is kind of a huge mess lol TwT !!! basically his whole thing is that he isn't roman but she (self-proclaimed ultimate copycat) is an impostor who replaced the real roman after killing him. her motive for killing roman is basically is that she thinks that its bullshit that his knowledge on history is something deserving of an ultimate title but her own talent of copying other people isn't. The thing is she isn't even that good at it? Like the replacing people part. She can perfrctly copy their appearance and voice but she can't act like them considering the real Roman was reclusive and that she was more outgoing when she was using his face to get into the ultimate talent program

Her own relationships with the rest of the cast was generally positive considering that she does want to get along with everyone. She clashes with Rene obviously but basically of the cast clashes with Rene lmao.

She also doesn't have a name so I tend to just call the actual her 'Cat' !
