Abby wasn't exactly sure why she'd taken her sister's suggestion to spend the summer in Georgia with their grandparents, but it sounded fun at the time. Now, without the hustle and bustle of LA around her, she couldn't decide if it was a new adventure or if she was just bored. One good thing was that they did own a ranch, and so she'd been having some fun being around the animals; especially the horses. Which is where she was now, leaning against the stall door and gently petting one of the smaller horses. "What do you think Gertie, should I stick out the whole summer?" as she posed the question to the horse, she didn't hear someone entering the barn behind her, so when she turned and saw him there she couldn't help as a small sound of surprise left her. "Oh my god, you just gave me a heart attack." the brunette said with a small chuckle; a light flush finding her cheeks. "You know its rude to sneak up on unsuspecting girls and horses, right?" she teased.

"perhaps a robbery gone wrong," she theorized then lifted her gaze to the crowd that has now gathered as the paramedics cart him away. it wasn't until she turned that she realized how close abby was. "i need to get witness statements to get a better idea. did you want to join?"

Abby had never really pictured her life would go this way. She'd never thought much about children. Sure, she'd always been good with them when they were inserted into her life...but one of her own, she hadn't really put it in the cards. So now, to be raising her daughter Allison, and alone, and doing surprisingly...well. Well, sometimes she still wasn't sure if it was real or not.

Sometimes she missed the rush of what she considered her old life. Being with a criminal had been a horrible idea from the start, and maybe a tiny part of her thought she could change him, but when she'd found out she was pregnant, she knew in her heart that would never happen.

But here she was, in a modest home in the suburbs raising a three year old who had so much of her father in her attitude and her features that sometimes it pained her. It was Saturday, their girl day. She didn't have to work, Allie didn't have daycare, so that meant a day of animated movies, junk food, and mani pedis. So when there was a knock on the door, she wasn't expecting it. "Pick a movie Allie and I'll be right there!" She called out as she headed toward the door. Opening it to see his face shocked her, and she was certain her mouth fell open for a moment. "Wh-What are you doing here?"

olderbf!mike who is 5 years older than you shows you how to do taxes. he breaks down everything, why they’re important, the due dates. he’s not exactly sure on how to himself but he’s figured out the best services to use, how to do any write offs and what paperwork you may need.

olderbf!mike who lets you move in with him. when the time comes, the two of you as well as abby set out on a trek to find a somewhat larger and nicer home. once you do, he teaches you about rent, how to manage money (the best that he can), and things about cars, financing, etc.

olderbf!mike (ft. stoner!mike) who smokes you out at night, grabbing the back of your head and leaning it back as he blows smoke into your mouth. sometimes he’ll hit a joint off of your chest or he will hold it in between his fingers for you to hit.

olderbf!mike who laughs at how naive you are, teasing you when you don’t know things that can only come from life experience. in response to this, you remind him that he’s your elder and he quickly shuts up, rolling his eyes and grumbling, throwing a miniature hissy fit.

olderbf!mike who calls you good girl, pretty girl, babydoll, and babygirl because that’s how he sees fit. if you prefer, he will just call you babydoll, whatever makes you most comfortable. he loves having his hands all over you, even in public to show that you’re his.

olderbf!mike that covers you in purple marks all across your skin, ensuring at first glance it’s obvious you are very much taken. it doesn’t take much for people to realize who, as all they have to do is follow your arm down to your hands that are tightly gripped into much larger calloused ones. a short but gruff man is always attached at the hip with you, either leading you so that your mind can go blank or following your every command.

olderbf!mike who fixes all of your mommy/daddy issues, taking care of you the best that he can. he helps to set up your doctors appointments, gets you little treats even when they’re somewhat childish, takes you out to dinner, watches movies with you and eats junk food. you take care of him and he only sees it fair to take care of you. he’s head over heels for you, and he’ll do everything to show you that.
