Hiiii, my name is Ivo (He/him/yours), I'm 23 and I am a trans artist and printmaker living and working in Vienna, Austria. After two years of exclusively posting on Insta, I finally feel confident enough to explore other social media platforms. I am a student at Kunstschule Wien, I'm organizing art meetups + occasionally art markets.

This print is a 3-color reduction linocut print (15x21cm), and part of a 4-part series called "Becoming". As you might've noticed, the color palette is that of the trans pride flag. 🏳️‍⚧️

Este é o rato Tadeu. Estava tirando fotos por diversão de mim mesmo, até que na hora de selecionar algumas para guardar no pen drive, fiquei olhando uma pose em específico, e imaginei um personagem sobre ela. E foi assim que rabisquei o Tadeu Ambrósio I.

As cores estão bagunçadas, não foram totalmente planejadas. Comprei uma caixa nova de lápis de cor da Faber Castel com 48 cores, mas não quero usar os novos lápis ainda, decidi gastar os lápis velhos com cores repetidas. Os próximos desenhos podem sair com paletas medonhas como essa.

This is Tadeu the mouse. I was taking photos of myself for fun, until it was time to select some to save on the flash drive, I was looking at a specific pose, and I imagined a character in it. And that's how I scribbled Tadeu Ambrósio I.

The colors are messy, they weren't completely planned. I bought a new box of Faber Castel colored pencils with 48 colors, but I don't want to use the new pencils yet, I decided to use up the old pencils with repeated colors. The next designs could come out with hideous palettes like this.

Happy start of Pride Month! I got all dressed up in my pride stuff from previous years (mostly 2019 cause we didn’t have a parade last year for obvious reasons). It’s interesting when you look in the mirror and just feel 100% like you. Thinking about being Trans and Pan, I have full confidence that that’s who I am. I’m not confused about it and honestly it’s just who I am. I’m not any different from when I was younger, I just have better tools for describing myself. I have a wonderful support group of friends and loved ones who I’m happy to explore all of these aspects of myself with.
