#fullsized king lamia
vex-bittys · 1 year
Note
Christmas be rough, may I adopt some lamias? Got some gifts for them!
I would like to adopt a full-sized king, his gift shall be a very pretty crown.
And a full-sized chain, his gift shall be a good jacket with a couple things stiched on.
*You've come to the Lamia (and Felid) Bittybones Adoption Center prepared! You have a SOUL full of love (the good kind!) and a pair of handsome gifts for the two lamias you plan to adopt today. You step through the door with confidence, trusting that you will find the perfect very large skeleton snake companions for you.
*You meant to go to the Kings first to give any Chains in the shop a chance to sense you, but it seems that the extra time isn't necessary. A large full-sized Chain is waiting right inside the door, eyes sparkling, and SOUL softly glowing. He's a bit out of breath from slithering up here so quickly. He also appears to have arrived at the shop fairly recently because his clothes are worn and tattered and haven't been replaced yet.
Tumblr media
*Thankfully, you came prepared! You hold out the brand new jacket to him, and he lets out a tiny gasp of joy. He shrugs off his beaten up (are those claw tears in it?!) jacket and pulls the new one on immediately. He looks so happy that you can't help smiling. The SOULbond settles. Yes, this is definitely the Chain for you... and now he can help you find the perfect King!
*You follow the signs in the shop to the Kings' nesting area, followed closely by your new, but not yet officially adopted, Chain. The Kings watch you approach, and when you request a full-sized King, they slither forward, bowing and flaring their hoods. Once they have your undivided attention, they begin their displays.
*You thought it would be difficult to choose between all of the majestic lamias, but you just can't stop looking at a certain King. Your Chain nods encouragement to you. This King stands so tall and proud. His hood is so elegant and gorgeous. He keeps giving you little winks as he poses. You can't resist. You hold out the crown to him.
Tumblr media
*Filling out the forms is just a formality. You know these lamias are meant to be yours.

Hello! I'd like to share 2 bitties I Adopted from here! this wouldn't fit in the ask format so ima use this one! any info on the house would be for my persona ofc!
-
I have a Fullsized Twister named Capri and a fullsized Puff named Eleos! Capri likes to were grunge style clothes and likes to were darker colors! And Eleos likes something similar but with a bit of a cottagecore twist!
Capri and Eleos hang out with my other bitties a lot but are almost always seen together, since Carpi was my frist(and at the time only Lamia) he was a little lonely so I adopted Eleos!
The house is generally pretty chill, mainly because I only have a handful of bitties, one being a literal rock bitty lol, and the only super active bitty I have Is my Pigmy(Vex-bittys), Mercury, and my Racer(Fantasy-Fields), Ace,
Eleos picked up sewing! He likes fixing clothes and making lovies/stuffed animals, but also tries to make new clothes too!
Capri likes to play videogames, and often challanges one(or both) of my Chains(vex-bittys again), Yin and Yang,
Eleos and my King(vex-bittys again)Pharaoh! They like to have baking/cooking competitions,
Eleos sometimes races Mercury and Ace,
Not related to Eleos or Capri but Ace is a chaotic goofball and gets his head stuck in all sorts of things, from buckets to tire swings to bushes, because despite having plenty of things to do and toys to play with, he doesn't have a lot of impulse control!
Eleos has a bit more pastel colors, and Carpis browns are darker then normal,
There is a pool in the side yard(the back yard is fenced in so Ace has a lot of space to run and the side yards are for other bitties, since you dont want like, 5 inch tall bitties around a 9 foot tall bitty that doesnt even look where he is sticking his head, let alone where his feet are!), at first for Capri but other bitties can use it, even Ace is allowed in the pool! though there are times where we close the gate lol,
Capri picked up drawing recently, and even has a favorite pencil!
Eleos tried to pick up drawing too but prefers to sew! but he can now make his own patterns with his drawings!
Eleos is taller then the average fullsized Puff, standing at a little under 3 feet instead of 1.5-2, and is a little longer too due to this, and Capri is about 6 feet,
Right now Carpi is my 2ed tallest bitty! only 2ed to Ace,
-
Thats all i have so far! If I have any more(or decide to adopt any more bitties, ive been debating on quiet a few bitties from you shop!)
*********
I’m so glad that Carpi and Eleos are living in such an eclectic and busy home! Sounds like all your bittys are doing well and are very loved and supported by you, so thank you for adopting and giving me a glance into your bitty family!

The Prade Park Bitty Group!
(They call it a sanctuary but they're just a group of hurt and stray/feral bitties shhhh)
Sornan - A Hybrid between a Twister and a King, he's a fullsized lamia, so he's very large. The one to get what the others need, the 'leader' of the group. Has a few scars from previous fights, nothing serious. Wears a sweater with the words 'No Step On Snek' with an outline of a cobra with a it's hood spread.
Arthos - A Fullsized Puff, he was rescued from a bitty fighting ring! Has old scars along his tail. Wears a pale red sweater, nothing much, it's soft though. Sornan's adoptive brother.

Sting - A Bitty Swap Sans Drider! He tries to be helpful to the group whenever he can, and is basically the little brother of the group. Has a limp from a lame leg.
Casey - A Chain, found injured and in need of help. Has plenty of scars caused by animal attacks. Mate to Shiro, parent to Ares and Winter
Shiro - A Fullsized Underswap Lamia, NOT A PYGMY found in the forest nearby. Has small, old scars. Mate to Casey, parent to Ares and Winter.
Ares - A young hybrid of a Chain and an Underswap Sans Lamia, has a blue and an orange eye, a blue tail with dark blue Chain markings, and one gold tooth. Looks more like a Sans.
Winter - A young hybrid of a Chain and an Underswap Sans Lamia, has orange eyelights and a blue tail without markings, has no gold teeth. Looks more like a Papyrus.
Malt - A Milkyway bitty! Was recently adopted by Sornan, and stays with him, protected.

My Bitty Brood
As time goes on and I become more active with Bitty-blogs I realize that it’s time to actually LIST my bitties and their names. I WAS going to hold off until I had their biographies tweaked to my liking with commissioned art to go with it but that’s taking way too much time. So this post will be quick and dirty, subject to change and additions. I will list my Bitties in order of adoption:
1. Mars (Martian, Snag, Snaggletooth, Mars Bar) Edgy Bitty adopted from @fuckn-crybaby (artist has donated them to the fandom and no longer answers asks about them: I recommend @bittywiki for more information)
2. Alfredo (Alfie, Alf) Screech Bitty adopted from @memeshero‘s Underdeath AU
3. Slim Jim (James T. Slender) my personal Bitty - Boa Constrictor Lamia/SF!Papyrus
4. Caesar (pronounced the Italian way: Chez-er-eh)(Chez, Chezzer, Cheese-Its) adopted from @wolf-n-bones SpiritFell UF!Papyrus bitty
5. Big Ben (Benny Hill, Udon, Benjamin Button) adopted from @vex-bittys Fullsize King Lamia (Only “Bitty” allowed in my “real” life with my kittens, rest of Bitties stay in my AU with my Sona as owner instead of “me”... If that makes sense at all. Ben gets to be in both universes.)
6. Yuzu (Yuzuki) adopted from @sansy-fresh Pup Bitty
Please stay tuned for more additions and bios as time goes on!

Hello there. My name is Tyr, and I’m Fire’s king lamia. I’m sure you remember me. I was hoping to adopt a Felid who might be interested in a large family. We have bitties of all sorts, but part of it is taking care of our Fire, even when she doesn’t think she needs it.
*Tyr knew his adopter, Fire, would have fun visiting the Felids, but he never realized how hard it would be for him to see so many small cat bitties and choose just one to take home. They were all so perfect!
*Should he pick a science-oriented Felid or a warrior type? A Fellverse bitty like himself or perhaps a Swapverse one? Long hair? No hair? All of them maybe?
*Tyr was so busy trying to figure out how to fit a veritable army of Felid bitties into an already bitty-filled home when he felt a bump on his tail. He looked down. An Abyssine had headbutted him.
*Tyr wiggled his tail tip at the bold Felid, and she pounced! "Gotcha, punk," she growled playfully, tussling with his tail. Tyr tail- wrestled back, finally succumbing dramatically to the ferocious attack.
*The King assessed his furry vanquisher. The Abyssine would need lots of activity and play to keep her happy, but she would also be a fierce protector for the other bitties in the family. He also admitted to himself that he liked the idea of having his Felid friend be a Fellverse bitty. Plus her red hair matched his scales nicely...
*Tyr heard a giggle that brought him back to his surroundings. Fire! She had filmed the whole battle on her phone, and she was laughing at their antics. Tyr didn't bother hiding his blush. Instead, he scooped up the Abyssine to carry her to the front desk for the official adoption.

Hi there, it’s me again! It seemed to me that people really liked the king from
here, so I drew him some more. Chewie also got a drawing of himself!
(submitted by @focshi)
———-
*First of all, this is such a precious fanart of Chewie! He got very happy and wiggly when I told him about it!
*As for the King:
*The little old cat lady’s grandchildren have arrived, and the full-sized King lamia living in her home is busted. They immediately screech in joy at the thought of Grandma having a lamia- a full-sized cobra lamia! Not a large strange cat… a giant skeleton snake. Thankfully, Grandma will not be swayed.
* “Now, now, children, it’s not nice to call him lame just because he looks different. His name is Cupcake, and he is the sweetest cat I’ve ever seen, in spite of his unusual appearance.”
*Grandma’s daughter is still a bit wary of “Cupcake the cat” but the kids love him. He’s so big that they can climb on him, and he doesn’t even mind! They use his tail like a slide, pretend to scare him by shouting boo to see his hood flare (a game he plays along with), and spending time with him means that Grandma’s older, grumpier cats can have some peace and quiet away from the rambunctious children.

Maybe a drabble of a King meeting a Blindberry?
Blind Sided
The Kings did not refer to the feral cat colony living in the alley next to the shop as a cat problem, and they certainly disapproved when other people referred to it that way. The Kings made sure that the cats were fed and protected. They also organized a catch and release effort so that the cats in the alley could receive necessary medical care and spay/neuter procedures. The cats of the colony were better cared for than some indoor cats, and caused no problems except constantly melting the hearts of Kings living in the shop.
One warm summer morning after a thunderstorm, one of the Kings slithered outside to check on the felines. As soon as he passed through the door into the alley, he heard the sound of teeny tiny shouting. Cats make a wide variety of noises, but they aren’t (usually) capable of human speech. The words cut off into a deafening screech of terror and pain. Following the shrieks, the King found one of the feral cats with a strange bitty clutched in its jaws.
Darting forward, the King blocked the cat’s escape from the alley. Firmly but gently he grabbed hold of the bitty, petting the cat to calm it while he carefully extracted the bitty from the danger zone. Reaching into a pouch at his waist, the King offered the cat a few treats as a thank you for being patient and giving up its prey. The cat sneezed haughtily and walked away with its tail high in the air, making it very clear that both the King and the bitty he had rescued were not worth its attention.
The King lifted his hands, peering at the bitty who trembled in his grasp. At first, he mistook the small creature for a Brassberry bitty… until he noticed the cloth covering its eyes. He’d never met a Blindberry before, but he recognized the timid bitty from descriptions he’d heard. Since the bitty wouldn’t be able to tell on his own if the danger had passed, the King whispered reassurances to him as he carried him into the shop.
When the King tried to place the terrified bitty onto the examining table so the Nurse Papythons could check him for injuries, the Blindberry clung to his hands with a vice-like grip. No amount of comforting words could dislodge him, and the King’s SOUL warmed at the thought of being such a trusted protector. The Nurse Papythons treated the Blindberry for a few cuts and scrapes with their green magic, but thankfully, he had no serious injuries from his kitty encounter.
The Blindberry nudged the King’s hand as they left the Infirmary. When the King leaned his head down to listen, the Blindberry informed him that he was hungry, starving actually. Absently rubbing the Blindberry’s itsy bitsy back, the King slithered into the storage pantry to find a snack for his new tiny charge. When asked about his favorite foods, the Blindberry rattled off a short list of baked goods, candies, and meat- all items that Vex kept on hand in the shop.
The King selected a cupcake and a slice of ham, both of which were nearly as large as the Blindberry himself, and carried the smaller bitty to his nest to eat in safety and comfort. The Blindberry ate until the King worried that he might explode. After the meal, the Blindberry yawned hugely, and the King offered to get him some blankets and pillows to sleep on. The Blindberry shook his head emphatically.
“I want to stay with you!” the Blindberry declared, and the King didn’t argue. He liked this bitty. The Blindberry reminded him of a cute little kitten.
In the days that followed, the Blindberry ran around exploring the shop with the helpful King slithering along behind him, warning him of any obstacles in his path. The King folded his scarf into a carrying pouch for the Blindberry whenever the bitty wore himself out. Each night, the King curled himself in a circle around the Blindberry to prevent him from wandering off and getting lost or injured.
The Blindberry had been living in the shop for over a week when the King overheard Vex mentioning a Blindberry over the phone.
“-found a Blindberry in the alley. It might be the one you’re looking for,” Vex said to the caller. Spotting the King, she waved him over. The Blindberry kept one hand pressed to the King’s tail while Vex explained the situation to them. A bitty rescue center was calling other bitty shops in the area to help a distraught owner track down their lost Blindberry. Vex described the owner, and the Blindberry spoke up.
“That’s my owner!”
Vex passed the information to the caller, and the King’s large body drooped a bit. The Blindberry had an owner who was looking for him. He was going to leave, to go home. The King felt happy that the two would be reunited, but he would miss the Blindberry’s company. The Blindberry patted the King’s scaly tail until the much larger bitty picked him up. The Blindberry curled up and fell asleep nuzzling his temporary caretaker’s hands.
The owner burst into the shop a few hours later like a cyclone, tension subsiding into relief when they saw the King standing at the front desk with their missing Blindberry in his cupped hands.
“Oh stars, thank you for finding him! A branch fell and broke one of our windows during the thunderstorm, and my poor little guy got disoriented and wandered outside. I’m just so glad he’s alright,” the owner babbled breathlessly, reaching for their Blindberry.
The Blindberry awoke with a massive yawn, stretching like one of the cats who’d almost dusted him. He recognized his owner’s voice immediately and leapt to his little feet. When they touched him to let him know that they were close, he purred softly, then latched onto the King’s long phalanges. Though his owner tugged him gently, the Blindberry refused to relinquish his hold.
With an exasperated sigh, the owner looked the King up and down.
“I don’t suppose you’re interested in coming home with us? I’d actually appreciate having someone around to help keep an eye on him, especially when I’m not home,” they offered, and the King would’ve jumped for joy if it wasn’t so undignified. The Blindberry had no such reservations involving dignity, and shouted loudly with joy, dancing around in the King’s hands.
The happy reunion became a happy adoption and an even happier homecoming.

Flufftober 2020: Day Thirteen
Prompt: Carrying
Pairing: King (UF!Papyrus lamia) x Krait (Gaster lamia)
Category: Romantic
----------
From the moment the newly hatched Krait tumbled out of his shell into the big wide world, the young full-sized King who observed the hatching adored him. Edgar saw the look of affection in the King’s eyes and initially mistook it for that joyful glimmer that he himself felt at seeing any baby creature, but this was different. The King knew that he and the baby Krait were meant to be together always.
Swiftly, the King scooped the Krait into his arms, holding the hatchling close and letting him feel the beat of the bigger lamia’s SOUL. When the King passed the Krait to the nursery caretaker for his first bottle feeding, the hatchling beeped and peeped frantically until Edgar returned him to the King’s arms. The Krait quieted instantly, and from that moment forward, the pair were inseparable.
The King fashioned his scarf into a sling to carry his small friend around in. The Krait, a full-sized lamia himself, grew quickly under the King’s painstaking care. The King fed him until he was old enough that the pair could simply share meals in companionable silence. He preferred to bathe with the King nearby, allowing his friend to dry him off before he returned to his sling. Each night, he fell asleep listening to the gentle thrum of the King’s SOUL.
The King stayed in the nursery well past the time that he should have moved out into the adoption area. He had no intentions of leaving his friend behind. Once the Krait reached young adulthood, they moved to a nest in the shop together. The nest bordered the King nesting area yet was in close proximity to the Krait pools- the best of both worlds!
Though many guests at the shop petted and cuddled the Krait during their visits, he never attempted to stow away in any of their backpacks, purses, or clothing. His bondmate wouldn’t fit in any of the available spaces, and the Krait had no intention of leaving the King behind just as the King had once refused to leave the nursery without him. For his part, the King opted not to participate in displays for potential adopters either. Unless they wanted a Krait, the King just wasn’t interested.
The pair of lamias were in no rush to find a permanent home outside of the shop. They refused to be separated, and if that meant waiting longer (or even forever) for the right adopter, it didn’t bother them as long as they were together.
Days blended into weeks, and weeks became months. Months eventually accumulated into years, and still the two lamias lived their happy lives in their shared nest in the shop. A potential adopter entered the shop one day while the bondmates lounged next to the Krait pools. The King watched the Krait perform the same type of acrobatics that had won him over during their bonding display. The sight of his bondmate in a Krait’s natural element always brought a smile to his face. The smile widened when he overheard the conversation between the adopter and Vex, the shopkeeper.
“- looking for a Krait and a King. I know it’s an unusual combination, but I think that they would be perfect for me,” the person explained to Vex. The Krait slithered out of the play pool. He’d heard the words King and Krait spoken together too. The King quickly dried the Krait off with a fluffy towel and tucked him into his carrying pouch. The pair snuck closer to the front desk, where Vex asked the adopter a few questions.
Vex spotted the pair and gave them a barely perceptible nod to let them know that she approved of this adopter. Poking his head out of his pouch, the Krait pointed to the satchel sitting on the ground next to the visitor. It seemed like an ideal place to stow away… except that the King would never fit! The bondmates hissed quietly to each other, discussing their stowing away strategy.
Vex continued to distract the adopter while the lamias made plans. In the end, the King decided to wedge himself into the satchel as best he could. It didn’t turn out well. The King could only get the bag over his head and one shoulder, and Vex was running out of ways to keep the person’s attention on her. The Krait bounced up and down on the King, trying to squash him further into the satchel to no avail.
Vex waved her arms wildly as the person turned, just in time to see a King thoroughly stuck in their satchel, one arm contorted above his head to fit inside and the strap snagged on his other arm. A Krait perched atop the King’s head, sockets wide in shock at being caught in the middle of stowing away.
Covering their mouth to hide their laughter, the adopter extricated the King from the satchel. The King and his bondmate looked crestfallen, so the adopter made a quick suggestion: “I have a wagon outside that you’d both fit into. I can wander around the shop for a bit while you sort yourselves out, and I promise not to look in the wagon until I get home.”
Vex watched out the window as the lamia bondmates shifted blankets around in the wagon to hide themselves while their new owner filled out the adoption paperwork. As the Krait snuggled up against his bondmate, a thought occurred to both of them. If their new adopter allowed it and they felt comfortable in their new home, the Krait might soon be doing some carrying of his own...

can you do a drabble of me, soul, knight, and le roi going to the pool/lake?
Pool Noodles
When oppressive summer heat set in, you tried to find outdoor activities for your three active lamias (a Chain, a King and a Mamba) that didn’t involve copious amounts of sweat and the ever-present risk of heat exhaustion. Fortunately, you lived close enough to a small public lake to make a day trip out of it. The lake had a small beach and a grassy park with plenty of trees for shade adjacent to it- the perfect summer getaway.
As soon as you parked the car, the lamias tumbled out in a tangle of bony limbs and scaly tails, eager to explore a new area. Your Chain slithered to your side to help you unload the car, and your King and Mamba made short work of driving away some noisy gulls that had laid claim to a portion of the beach.
You and your Chain found a vacant section of sun-warmed sand to place your beach chair, umbrella, and towels on, then your three lamias inspected the narrow swathe of beach and its shoreline wavelets for any signs of danger. They slithered back a few minutes later, reporting back to you that they’d seen no signs of alligators, sharks, or prehistoric lake monsters. What a relief.
With your safety assured, your Chain slithered into the cool water. You slathered on some sunblock and joined him. The mixture of sun and wind sent glimmering ripples through the water, and you and your Chain splashed and laughed, trying to catch them. It took you a moment to realize that two of your lamias were still watching from the beach. You shouted for them to join you, and their response was less than enthusiastic.
The King slowly approached the water as if it might leap up and grab him. The Mamba did not budge, crossing his arms over his chest and scowling at the lake in general. Swimming close to you, the Chain whispered to you that your other two lamias didn’t know how to swim very well and were embarrassed by it. You wanted to encourage them to enjoy the lake without making them self-conscious.
You came ashore and ran to your beach supplies, pulling out some inflatable water toys. Your Chain followed behind you, and soon you and your three lamias had inflated a small armada of flotation devices. In the spirit of solidarity, you and your Chain donned some arm floaties and dragged some inner tubes into the lake. Under the pretense of being a mighty hunter, the King wrestled an inflatable alligator into the shallow water and climbed atop it to bask.
Your Mamba managed to wiggle into a rubber ducky inner tube, wearing it around his middle like a championship belt for bath toy hunting. He still remained on the shore though, glaring at the water suspiciously. A small wave broke on the sand in front of him, and he hissed and recoiled, not letting the water touch him. It took all of your willpower not to laugh at him. You thought that your Mamba would never be convinced to enter the lake.
Your Chain had other ideas.
“issss ok to sssstay on sssshore if you are sssscared of the water,” he shouted to the Mamba, who erupted in outrage and launched himself into the lake like an iridescent purple torpedo.
After the initial momentum of his wild charge wore off, however, the Mamba was stuck in the lake with no idea how to swim or balance properly on the inflatable duck. He flailed erratically, causing you and your other two lamias to back away to avoid his splashing. As if in slow motion, the rubber ducky inner tube overturned, dunking the Mamba into the lake. Only his lashing tail still disturbed the surface.
Your Chain- by far the best swimmer of the group- quickly dove under the water to help the Mamba right himself. The Chain held onto the rubber ducky until the Mamba felt steady enough for him to let go, and when he moved aside, you saw a fearless lake snail perched on top of your Mamba’s skull like a silly living crown. You, your Chain, and your King stared at the Mamba, carefully swallowing your laughter.
Seeing that he had your attention, the Mamba puffed up proudly atop his rubber ducky throne as if he hadn’t just floundered himself into needing a rescue. You and your Chain spent most of the afternoon swimming around the King and Mamba. You both used slow, simple movements to demonstrate the proper techniques for swimming and floating without embarrassing the two landlubber lamias about their lack of skill.
By the time the lake adventure was winding down, all three of your lamias were comfortable playing in the water. Unfortunately, the inflatable toys had become casualties of lamia lake hunting. An enthusiastic pounce by your Mamba deflated the alligator, and a playful swat from your Chain’s tail ended the poor rubber ducky. Everyone had fun, though, and that fact made the whole day worthwhile.
As your tired but happy lamias carried your belongings back to the car, you sneakily snatched the snail from atop your Mamba’s head and tossed the brave little gastropod back into the lake where he rightfully belonged.

Lowest priority) let’s say there’s a kid, 14, in a abusive situation. Sibling abuse. If the kid doesn’t do what her sister wants (who is 14) she’ll get screamed at, have stuff thrown at her, and or threatened with physical harm (All the mom says is to fight back) That happens very often. The last time she was hit was five months ago. Let’s say the kid wants a King. (One that’s smaller then her, she is 5’4). Or would it be wrong to adopt when you are in a situation like this.
*Ok, first of all, that is really terrible parenting right there. Instead of teaching her violent bully child to behave, the mother is encouraging her other child to... what? Assert dominance through further violence and become alpha bully of the house? I am absolutely speechless.
*I don’t think it is wrong for someone to adopt a lamia in a situation like this. A King would actually be a good choice as well. Though he is strong and venomous, a King would never harm a juvenile (the sister), but he would place himself between the two to take any violence meant for his adopter. He could also simply physically block the way to his adopter because when a large lamia does not wish to be moved, he does not move.
*A King is also loyal and compassionate. He would care very deeply about his adopter and make sure that she knows that her sister and mother’s behavior is abhorrent. He would comfort and encourage her, and try to find activities that could be done away from the home so that she has an opportunity to relax and destress.
*We have plenty of Kings in the shop with even tempers who would be perfect for the job, including some smaller ones (about 11 feet total, 5 feet “standing”). She’s more than welcome to adopt one.

Good morning/afternoon/evening Miss Vex. So, we had a pretty bad rainstorm here a couple of days ago and my cousin, who was coming to make sure I was okay, found a juvenile full-sized king? We think he's a juvenile, since he's too big to be a hatchling or a miniature... he was hurt, so I gave him some monster candy and let him make a nest in my room, but I was wondering if, maybe, I could bring him to the centre for a health check? Just in case. Thank you.
*That’s an excellent idea. The monster candy and nice, warm rest should have helped him out quite a bit, but a healing from our Nurse Papythons and a general health check won’t hurt.
[ After the King is brought in ]
*This is definitely a young full-sized King. He’s going to grow quite large by the looks of him. We will happily provide you with any items you need for his care if you decide to keep him. Otherwise, we can offer him a home in the shop with the option to be adopted when he reaches adulthood if he prefers, though he seems to want to stay with you if the wiggly display dance he’s doing is any indication.
*The Nurse Papythons who healed him said that he’s in pretty good shape mostly because of the monster candy you gave him. He won’t suffer any long term effects of his injury or of being out in the rain. Again, this is because you provided him with shelter and a nesting space. You’ve done everything necessary to help this young King, and I’m sure you would make a great owner for him.

it's me again! recent mental health issues (depression, anxiety, ptsd, loss of memory) has led me to believe that a king would be a welcome addition to my home. They seem like lovely protective and helpful snakes. if you have one that's less of a thorn and more of a rose, i'd love to adopt him!
Tumblr media
*You’ve been through a lot lately, and you think that perhaps adding a King lamia bitty to your family might help. There’s just something about the protective and helpful lamias. You’ve even begun thinking of them as roses with long snakey stems. When you arrive in the shop, you decide to take your time wandering around. The shop, busy though it may be, is actually a very peaceful place.
*You’ve found a quiet spot to sit and watch some playful Pygmies when you feel a tap on your leg. You look over and see a FireRing, one of the newer lamias at the shop. He has a whiteboard, and he holds it up. It says: “Need a hug?” You’re a bit surprised. You didn’t realize that you looked like someone who needed a hug... but the cute little lamia is so precious, and a hug does sound nice. You nod and pick him up.
Tumblr media
*The FireRing gives you a warm hug. He’s so sweet! You give him a smooch on his fiery cheek, and his flames turn bright pink at the tips- a fire lamia blush! You’ve always wanted a living lava lamp. When you stand up to make your way over to the Kings, the FireRing perches on your shoulder, keeping his heat at a comfortable level. You tell him about wanting a King and about thinking of them as roses. He sketches a rose on his whiteboard while you walk.
*You arrive in front of the Kings, who all stand at attention and bow to you politely. You explain to them that you consider them like roses, and each King stands a little taller, proud to be compared to such a classic and elegant flower. You tell them a bit about your situation and ask that your “rose” be one without thorns. The Kings make way, rearranging their ranks until one specific King stands in front of you. He bows low, flares his hood slowly, and fails to hide the soft little blush on his cheekbones.
Tumblr media
*He is a sensitive King, the sweetest of the bunch of sweethearts. He is full-sized without being intimidating though you suspect that he would protect your fiercely if needed. Just one more thing to do... You gesture for him to lean down and give him a smooch on the cheek. The poor thornless rose tries to hide the bright red glow of his blush with his hood, but it’s like a beacon of adorableness. You turn to your lava lamp and ask him if he’s ready to sign some adoption forms. He draws a thumbs-up emoji on his whiteboard. Your rose nods, still blushing brightly, and together the three of you head to the front desk.
