From Poultry DVM
"Suprelorin is a sustained release subcutaneous implant that releases slow doses of deslorelin acetate to suppress the hen's reproductive endocrine system by preventing the production of pituitary hormones. It temporarily stops hens from laying eggs.
.
Stopping egg laying helps in the prevention and treatment of the following reproductive diseases in hens:
.
👉 Cloacal prolapse
👉 Egg binding
👉 Egg yolk peritonitis
👉 Fatty liver disease
👉 Ovarian cancer
👉 Ovarian cysts
👉 Oviduct impaction
👉 Salpingitis
.
The product was originally created in Australia for use in dogs and has been available in Australia and New Zealand since 2007 and the European Union since 2008.
.
In the USA, this product is sold only for use in ferrets for treatment of Adrenal disease. It is used off-label in birds and illegal in chickens, ducks and other poultry since the FDA considers them "food animals"
.
The implant comes pre-loaded in an insertion device and administered while the bird is sedated or under anesthesia. The duration of effectiveness ranges from 4 to 6 months depending on the size of the implant (4.7 mg or 9.4 mg) and the particular bird."
Tumblr media
(Yes it is illegal to use this implant in a food animal. If it's a pet chicken a lot of vets will prescribe it to your bird anyway. This is because you don't want to use hormones with potentially food producing animals despite the implant stopping egg laying.)
My leghorns have used these for years and it definitely lengthened their lifespan. Unfortunately they can stop functioning with chronic use but it can still save your birds life or lengthen their lifespan for a few years.

Blog 3: Chinese Medicine, the 5 Elements & Me
In the previous blog, I touched on the yin and yang properties emphasized in Chinese medicine. The ancient Chinese sages also viewed the world in terms of a system of Five Elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. These elements interact with each other and are found within all life, including our bodies.
Tumblr media
Marie Hopkinson, a Chinese medicine practitioner in Australia, used the analogy of a plant to explain how these elements interact. The sun contributes fire to the plant, urging it to grow upward. The earth grounds the plant, allowing it to absorb nutrients. Metal refers to the wind and air, giving the plant oxygen. Also, the plant needs water to grow. If any of these elements get out of balance, the plant will not thrive. (To watch her video, follow link listed below to her video, "Why eat mostly cooked foods.)
I have been diagnosed by my acupuncturist as having dampness in my spleen, known as spleen energy deficiency, or spleen qi deficiency. The spleen-pancreas system, which is more of a functional term than a reference to these biological organs, is governed by the earth element. (To learn more about dampness in Chinese medicine, follow the link listed below to her video, "What is Dampness.)
Tumblr media
Summer corresponds to the earth element because of its dampness. I have a particularly tough time with summer's humidity because I am allergic to molds, particularly leaf molds. Since we live in the woods, and not far from a large lake, I have to stay in the house with air filters on to get away from leaf mold.
Someone like me with a spleen-pancreas imbalance will suffer with chronic tiredness, a weak digestion, and many other issues. Imagine a plant that has been over-watered, sagging with yellow leaves and not growing as it should.
Tumblr media
To understand the spleen-pancreas system's function, imagine a fire (the spleen) heating up a pot of fluids (the stomach). The stomach needs warm, moist, cooked foods so it does not have to overwork while getting the nutrients of the foods. If the fires of the spleen system has been depleted, like mine has, cold foods make it work too hard.
To gain energy, those with spleen energy deficiency will crave sweets. To supply this energy in a healthy way, not overloading the body with glucose which we all know creates a rollercoaster of sugar highs and lows, Chinese medicine recommends eating grains, especially rice, and some fruit, with plenty of vegetables. Fried foods, refined foods, dairy products and dampening fruits and vegetables should be limited.
Many of these changes have challenged me. As I mentioned in my previous blog, Total Health gave me a convenient table that categorizes food as drying, lubricating, neutral, and strengthening. Since not every practitioner agrees with what foods fit in what categories, I have chosen to follow Ting's advice. I use Pitchford's book as a reference. He provides in-depth descriptions of the various properties of foods along with information on what conditions they treat.
Tumblr media
Unlike my mother, I do not excel in menu planning. When I was young, my brother and I were not allowed to just grab something to eat because my mother was probably planning to use it for a specific meal. My biggest challenge has been figuring out what to eat using Chinese medicine recommendations.
I found a recipe in Total Healing called "Morning Energy Mega Boost" that satisfies my desire for sweets in the morning. It contains oatmeal, protein powder, walnuts, black sesame seeds, bee pollen, figs, apricots, and dates. My stomach and my taste buds like it.
Having soup or rice congee, a soupy rice mixture, works for supper. Chinese medicine also recommends eating light in the evening, which I was already doing because the result is that I have less acid reflux at night.
This leaves the biggest dilemma--what to eat for our main meal. Chinese medicine recommends eating your main meal in the middle of the day. We have been doing that for quite some time because of my husband's work schedule. Pitchford recommends eating only a small amount of meat, but my husband and I have been eating meat all of our lives. I have yet to find many recipes that work for me, other than stir fries, because we have always centered our main meal around meat!
Open for suggestions!

Prior to his infection, Gabriel led a very normal life and was a caring, compassionate individual. His pursuit within the beauty industry landed him a promising modeling agency. However, this required him to take a leap of faith and leave home to another another part of the country away from Perth. To his dismay, he doesn't understand the culture and struggles to make connections with the given barrier. On the upside, he's been told he has a calming, nurturing disposition. He says he's naturally that way thanks his mom for how she and his father raised him. During an outing with a fellow of the community in early Feb, Gabriel was bit by a bat on the forearm while enjoying holiday festivities with company during a leisurely stroll down a bago vineyard maze. Unsure if he was bit at all, he thought nothing of the unusual contact other than the bat mistaking his waving limbs for food or an unseen obstacle. Continuing about his life and career as usual, he started to get sick in the following weeks and got progressively worse. Thinking it was the flu or a very intense cold, treatment wasn't sought until the infection had spread too far and Gabriel was finding it hard to function, let alone drive.
By the time he'd received medical attention, it was too late. The infection of rabies not only spread, but was reacting strangely to his 'hybrid' chromosomes. For observational purposes, Gabriel was held in a CDC captive containment before the sickness took him and altered the state of mind, and corrupted the very fibers of his DNA. Safe from harm and safe from harming others or infecting them, the newly cursed Were was told the bad news of what happened when he finally woke up. Footage of his change frightened him, and for awhile he contemplated how he'd cope with this new illness. He was reassured by medical professionals and other staff who study his disease that it is possible to live a normal life. Continuing to receive a lot of therapy, he returned to the community as if nothing happened.. though he carries less of his joy to be inclusive out of fear of his new condition and will recluse more often than not.
In the confines of his apartment, trying to cope with the new feelings and cravings of a werewolf without putting himself or others in harms way- it dawns on him what of his lover? Feeling a false sense of safety to go to them, he is met with a horrific scene of blood and body parts, or half-consumed ones scattered around the apartment- and the smell. The suppressed memories resurface to the forefront of the conscious mind, an unknown trigger- he'd changed, and ate the one he loved. Overcome with grief, he withdrew deeper into himself, rather than outreach to the help he was offered by the smaller secret association branched from the CDC for people of his condition. Now with the police on the lookout for him after it was a confirmed werewolf attack, he struggles with his own demons while running from being captured..

What would happen if Draxum and Galois and Cassandra plan actually succeeded? All of most of humanity is mutated , what would happen world wide and family wise? Would there be a war between Yokai and Mutants or would there be a civil war or an uneasy truce? What would happen to Hamatos?
I mean, their plan is kind of doomed to fail, since Draxum is missing a few key details, but let's just say magic and Draxum's plan succeeded without having to make too many compromises.
For one, oh my god population issues. I could write a whole fucking novel on the effect drastically reducing the number of people on the planet will have. To be fair they do have plans to handle that-Galois's work is actually much less weapons of mass destruction and more about sustainable food production, communications, and breaking down all the bullshit of the old world and repurposing it for rebuilding in an environmentally-friendly, civilian-conscious way. (walkable cities, yo) Draxum also doesn't plan to take over the entire planet at once, he does plan to have functional and surplus-producing colonies before expanding. Like, he'll take over New York and have that well on its way to the green city paradise he's envisioning before moving onto Jersey, so those people don't just starve while they're restructuring. But likely people would end up migrating en masse to the cities Draxum prioritizes for rebuilding and large swathes of land would end up reclaimed by nature, especially after Galois swoops in and reclaims everything man-made for its resources. So a lot of suburbs, smaller cities, and Vegas will all die off.
Also, Draxum plans to prioritize children for mutation, which...granted, won't be an eternal problem, but it will definitely be a wrinkle in the early days. His 'side' will have a lot of functionally useless mouths to feed and protect, and Draxum is going to need a lot of caretakers and educators for them. Who will also only be needed for a decade or two, then they'll be out of a job. If anyone's played city builders before, you'll know what I'm talking about with having to cater to baby booms and then having a bunch of empty schools and childcare facilities as the population ages. Granted, yes, then he'll have a large population of educated mutant young adults who are very loyal to his regime, so it will be worth it if he pulls it off, but it's not going to be a popular decision in the early days.
Also eventually these mutants are going to get old and die-they'll live much longer than humans, but they won't be immortal. And most first-gen mutants are left sterile, so...they aren't going to be making enough babies to replace themselves. So that's gonna be another population collapse right there. Unless they attack it with a really aggressive breeding program and encourage the few fertile mutants to pop out kids like nobody's business. (oh god, I can just imagine all the 'it's your civic duty to fuck!' propaganda)
(I've also thought that maybe Draxum allows some humans to live unmutated but like...banishes them to Australia)
As for Draxum's socialist empire-honestly, I think it would actually work out in the short term. His and Galois's work, magic, the unused land and more sustainable infrastructure-I mean, I'll give him credit, he does have plans for how he's going to meet his people's basic needs. And he doesn't plan on going full socialism, he knows he doesn't really understand government or economy as much as he knows science, so aside from putting some measures in place to depower people like Big Mama and the Council he'll probably let people decide for themselves what they want and let shit develop organically. He wants to provide everyone with food, water, and shelter, and ensure they have access to free healthcare and education. In his mind, he's providing the building blocks for a utopian society that he knows he won't live to see the height of. (I still don't know why I chose to make Draxum a socialist, but like...I feel like it really fits)
There would be an eventual breakdown though. The Yokai have little social division and in-fighting because...well, one, they're an amalgam of different social structures who had to break themselves down to assimilate into the Hidden City, so most of their social groups have only really existed in their current form for a few generations, but also because the Yokai feel united by one thing-the threat of the humans.
So if the humans are all dead or Australian, what do they have left? Oh, at first they'll be busy with the rebuilding, the memories of the war and its dead still fresh in their minds, but that'll fade. Some social classes will gain power over others-not necessarily the ones that had power in the old world, but they certainly would have had a head start. But the new world will be built, people will settle in and get bored, and the generation that remembers the bloodshed will eventually die off.
Combine that with the mutant population collapse. Before, while the Yokai definitely felt superior to the mutants, there would be potentially billions of them and only a few million Yokai, at most. As the mutants die off-sure, they would still outnumber the Yokai, but to a far less degree, and the Yokai would have more experience with magic, more wealth and power to build off of, more family bonds. Yadda yadda. There would definitely be some sort of division, with first-gen mutants and everyone descended from Draxum mutants being considered a lower class than 'pure' Yokai. This could result in enslaving, another round of ethnic cleansing, and around and around we go on the war machine. This wouldn't happen for a while though, and considering Draxum is already pretty old he probably wouldn't live to see it. He'd die thinking he succeeded in creating his perfect egalitarian society.
As for the fam, Draxum is really expecting them not to survive the war. He knows they won't side with him and believes that the humans will never accept them on theirs, so they'll end up dead one way or another. He won't kill them-he considers that to be Donatello's final request, and thinks he owes it to him to honor it. But ultimately he can't save them if they don't want to be saved. (also he does feel something for his creations, and they were his very first sapient mutants-plus he's probably still half in love with Lou)
If they did somehow manage to survive...let's see, what can I answer without giving future plot details away...
Ultimately, I think he'd have to send them away. Maybe not to Australia, but definitely away from New York, or wherever he plans on making the capital of his new empire. (probably New York) He'd relocate them halfway across the world and do some political bullshit to keep their voices suppressed, both so people don't find out what he did and so Galois doesn't pay attention to them.
He's not too terribly concerned about this though. His main goal is for Galois to live in a better world, one that respects him and sees him for what he is. As long as there's that, he'll still consider what he did a success no matter what else happens.

[020323 faith.in.bae ig post] caption below:
So this happened, ep2! And he’s wearing the same coloured tee shirt 🤭 I was stunned for awhile when I got seated and looked up and saw him right in front of me. He was working on his laptop with his collar over his chin and at one point tilted back on 2 legs of his chair 😳 I think I stopped functioning and was staring at him but the wait staff thought I wanted to order so I randomly ordered what I had the last time and then took a deep breath and went up to him. I congratulated him on a successful battle and mentioned that I met him abt a week before mendy at this same place but I didn’t expect him to remember since he meets so many people. He looked to where I pointed, “Oh yeah?….oh yeah! I remember! You were wearing a …sporty attire right?” 🫠🫠🫠 he was so so warm and nice and chatty as before and took the time to explain to a noob like me what a click track actually was. I told him the production quality of the show was amazing and I especially appreciated how the show was so entertaining but still maintained the musical integrity for both violin and bass. We commiserated abt the stream problems (he groaned, lol) and I thanked him again for choosing to host it in Singapore. We chatted about mendy and he shared that for him, it was easier than the battle because he trained all his life for smtg like mendy. 😩 He mentioned they would be heading back to Australia soon and I wished him well. I again shamelessly asked him to say hi to eddy. He left shortly after but turned as he walked past to wave bye with his dazzling smile. 🫠 I properly stopped functioning thereafter, so much so that the wait staff checked in on me to see if I was ok and if the food was ok. Then I realised I forgot to wish him happy birthday. 😩😩😩 He was so gracious to agree to another photo and look at that smile! I’m so grateful 🙏🏻 [EDITED] cos idk how could I forget but I shook his hand ✋🏻. I asked “actually, may I shake your hand as congratulations?” And I think he was a bit amused and he giggled and replied “yeah sure of course!” whilst sticking his hand out immediately. 🤝

How big is a sperm whale?
Tumblr media
There are many ways to find out their size.
For example, diving with them and using a really long meter (not recommended, it can be really hard!).
In a more scientific way, you can actually measure stranded animals. This is a highly precise method. Unfortunately, stranding events can happen. On the 20th of September, 14 individuals stranded on King Island, near Australia. Necroscopies and many analyses will be conducted.
With living animals, other cool stuff can be done. Have you ever thought that you can measure them from photographs? Well, you can do it! It's called photogrammetry and it's a matter of comparison between the animal and a predefined measure, usually the distance between two lasers.
And there's a truly amazing methodology that you probably don't know: measuring them from their clicks! Indeed sperm whale's produce a large variety of sounds, including clicks. These are really short sounds, broadband (in frequency) and highly intese (currently, the most intense! They can almost kill a human, but no such events have been reported). They can produce these sounds thanks to a complex, unique to this species, nasal apparatus (consisting also of the spermaceti organ). You can see a representation in the second picture (Caruso et al., 2015). Amazing right? Dotted lines represent the way this sounds travel through the organ. All this complex mechanism leads to the emission of the sound infront of their head, consisting of different pulses due to the sound reflection in the air sacs. Actually, the time distance (delay) between two subsequent pulses can be related to the size of the spermaceti organ, so of the head and finally of the lenght of the animal. Isn't it so cool? So, just recording their sounds, when they echolocate (when they are searching for food) or when they socialize, can give us the opportunity to measure them.
This incredible discovery come from 1972 with Norris and Harvey. In all these years it developed incredibly, with new discoveries, new approaches (like automated ones, so helpful!) and many publications.
This was the core part of what I did for my Master thesis, with data collected in São Miguel Island, Azores. And also thanks to this work, now I am an intern at the Marine Bioacoustics Lab in Aarhus University, under the supervision of one of the greatest names in Bioacoustics and sperm whales' research.
Life can be really unexpected, right?

Who is eligible for medical marijuana in Australia?
Tumblr media
Marijuana is a psychoactive drug that is derived from the cannabis plant. It has been used for medicinal and recreational purposes for centuries. The use of marijuana for medicinal purposes has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its effectiveness in treating various medical conditions. This paper aims to explore the use of marijuana as a treatment for different medical conditions.
Medical Conditions Treated with Marijuana Marijuana has been found to be an effective treatment for several medical conditions. These conditions include but are not limited to:
Chronic Pain: Marijuana has been found to be an effective treatment for chronic pain. This is because it contains compounds that interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for regulating pain.
Multiple Sclerosis: Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. Marijuana has been found to be effective in reducing the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, including muscle spasms, pain, and inflammation.
Epilepsy: Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that causes seizures. Marijuana has been found to be effective in reducing the frequency and severity of seizures in people with epilepsy.
Glaucoma: Glaucoma is an eye disease that can cause blindness. Marijuana has been found to be effective in reducing intraocular pressure, which is the main cause of glaucoma.
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): PTSD is a mental health disorder that can develop after experiencing a traumatic event. Marijuana has been found to be effective in reducing the symptoms of PTSD, including anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
Methods of Marijuana Treatment There are several methods of administering marijuana for medicinal purposes. These methods include:
Smoking: Smoking is the most common method of administering marijuana. This method involves inhaling the smoke produced by burning marijuana.
Vaporization: Vaporization involves heating the marijuana to a temperature that releases the active compounds without producing smoke.
Edibles: Edibles are food products that are infused with marijuana. They can be in the form of brownies, cookies, or candy.
Tinctures: Tinctures are liquid extracts of marijuana that are administered orally.
Topicals: Topicals are creams, lotions, or balms that are infused with marijuana and applied to the skin.
Benefits and Risks of Marijuana Treatment Marijuana treatment has several benefits, including:
Effective treatment for chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, glaucoma, and PTSD.
Fewer side effects than traditional medications.
Lower risk of addiction compared to opioids.
Natural and organic.
However, there are also risks associated with marijuana treatment, including:
Psychoactive effects can impair cognitive function.
Smoking marijuana can cause lung damage.
Edibles can be difficult to dose accurately, which can lead to overdose.
Marijuana can be addictive, especially for people with a history of addiction.
Conclusion Marijuana treatment has been found to be an effective treatment for several medical conditions. However, it is important to understand the benefits and risks associated with this treatment. Patients should consult with their healthcare provider before starting marijuana treatment and should only use marijuana products that have been tested and approved by regulatory agencies.

Days 3-5 of Australia vacation: Hobart
On Day 3, we got up early and discovered (to my utter amazement) that showing up at the airport just over an hour before departure for a domestic flight in Australia left ample time for shopping in the terminal even after we had some difficulty with self-checking our luggage.
I enjoyed having free wifi and snacks on the short flight, too, and I loved the view out the window during the descent. Tasmania is gorgeous from above!
We landed in Hobart mid-morning. The airport was a bit of a zoo, but we eventually set out in a giant rental car (to fit the four of us and all our luggage).
The vacation rental was a fairly spacious apartment with inadequate towels and pillows as well as bathrooms that were in desperate need of being redone.
We left our luggage and then drove into town, where we ate lunch sitting outside at a cafe. Despite the urban surroundings, I spotted a bird on a wire and, after looking at it in my binoculars, ascertained that it was a Green Rosella. Not only was this a new bird for me, but it's endemic to Tasmania--it can't be seen anywhere else! So that was an auspicious start to my Tasmanian birdwatching.
Brother-In-Law gave me a ride partway up the mountain on the edge of town (kunanyi/Mt. Wellington) to the trailhead for Fern Glade Track; then he went back to town to hang out with Wife and Sister-In-Law. I had a really nice little hike. I was on the trail for nearly 3 hours, but only went a little over 2 miles. My stated goal was to find a pink robin, but I despaired of that fairly soon as I wasn't familiar with any of the local birds yet and didn't even really know where to look, just that this was the right sort of habitat. I had studied their song and at one point thought perhaps I heard one, but I couldn't locate it. Still, it was a nice hike, and I spotted wallabies a couple of times. I also did see a few birds: a yellow wattlebird, several Tasmanian scrubwrens, a black currawong (which makes a hilarious and distinctive sound), a (probable) scrubtit, and a (probable) Tasmanian thornbill--all of which are endemic! And I heard forest ravens but didn't spot them. Actually, I heard a lot of birdsong but couldn't find the birds, and was extremely disappointed to discover that Merlin's sound ID function doesn't work in Australia.
I rushed back to the road in time to catch the once-per-hour bus back to town. I did not have the correct change for the fare, but the driver just let me ride anyway. Phew.
I met the others at a restaurant on the water and we had drinks and dinner there.
On Day 4, Wife and I had slept really poorly and were too tired to go through with the original plan, so my in-laws went wine tasting and then visited Port Arthur without us. Wife and I took a little walk along the water and saw some sea anemones. And later, I did manage to do a very productive 2-mile, 2.5-hour bird walk around the beach and park near the flat. I spotted lots of new birds: some masked lapwings with their adorable fledglings, a little wattlebird, musk lorikeets, eastern rosellas, sulphur-crested cockatoos (some of which were playing acrobatically in the wind, including flipping upside down), a long-billed corella, galahs, a black-faced cormorant, kelp gulls (Tasmania only has 3 kinds of gull and they're sufficiently different that I was able to identify all of them), and --less excitingly-- some Eurasian blackbirds.
Eventually we all went for a delicious dinner together at an Asian fusion restaurant, and then went to an ice cream boat (Van Diemens Land Creamery) for dessert. We stood under an awning to eat our ice creams in the rain.
On Day 5, we visited the Salamanca Markets in the morning. It was very crowded (Hobart was busy because it was high tourist season in general (holidays, summer) and because the Sydney-Hobart yacht race was going on or possibly ending), but there were some interesting things for sale and also some fun food. I enjoyed a fried potato helix on a stick, which Brother-In-Law informed me was very standard outdoor festival food!
Then we drove to MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art. This is... a very weird museum. The very eccentric owner David Walsh (a mathematician who used his skills to win a lot of money at casinos?) had it built to show his private art collection. We were there for several hours and didn't see all of it, but there was a lot of interesting stuff and the architecture was also good. It's mostly underground. There was a huge exhibition of works by Tomás Saraceno, an artist whose work I've seen some of before. These included a few about air pollution, of which I liked "We Do Not All Breathe The Same Air" best, and an installation called "A Thermodynamic Imaginary" which was astronomy-inspired. In the permanent collection, my favorite was perhaps "Kryptos" by Brigita Ozolins.
There was also a piece called "4PM" by Dean Stevenson, which was a performance; he's a composer and every day he has to compose something because a quartet is going to perform at 4pm whatever he wrote that day. It might be short, but it has to be something!
We were pretty exhausted after that. We had seen Tasmanian nativehens (another endemic!) in the adjacent vineyards when we arrived, and saw them again when we left. We went back home to have some downtime (and a cocktail) before returning to MONA for an outdoor music festival for New Year's Eve. That was pretty fun. We were lucky that it was unusually warm that day and evening. The music was mixed--my favorite band was actually the punk band (Liquid Nails?) that played around midnight--but the setting was nice. It was not too crowded yet also felt like we were out doing something for New Year's Eve, which I don't often do. We ate, had a few drinks, admired the stars, lounged about, explored a little. There was a playground, and I found that swinging on a swing while tipsy was very fun. But there's no denying that it felt really weird to be out so late!

How Does Magnesium Oil Boosts Energy Levels And Reduces Fatigue?
Experiencing persistent fatigue despite adequate rest? The solution may be addressing a common but often overlooked deficiency: magnesium. Magnesium's role in energy production and fatigue reduction is essential for numerous bodily functions. This blog explores how Australian magnesium oil can effectively enhance energy levels and combat fatigue.
The Importance of Magnesium for Energy Production
Magnesium is integral to over 300 biochemical processes within the body, many directly impacting energy metabolism. It is a crucial component in synthesising adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy carrier in cells.
A magnesium deficiency can impede ATP production, resulting in decreased energy levels, persistent fatigue, and impaired cognitive function.
Magnesium is often insufficient in modern diets due to soil depletion and processed foods. Australian magnesium oil offers a practical solution to this issue, directly and effectively replenishing magnesium levels.
Tumblr media
Mechanism of Magnesium Oil Application
While referred to as "oil," magnesium oil is actually a solution of magnesium chloride in water. When applied to the skin, it is absorbed transdermally. This method allows for more efficient absorption compared to oral supplements, which digestive issues and incomplete absorption can hinder.
Applying Australian magnesium oil to the skin facilitates the direct delivery of magnesium to muscle tissues and cells, promoting enhanced energy levels and reduced muscle fatigue.
Enhancing Energy Levels with Magnesium
Fatigue is frequently linked to magnesium deficiency. Australian magnesium oil can address this deficiency by supporting several key physiological functions:
ATP Production: Magnesium is vital for the synthesis of ATP, the cell's energy currency. Increased magnesium availability enhances ATP production, thereby boosting overall energy levels.
Stress Management: Magnesium regulates stress hormones and reduces cortisol levels. By mitigating stress, Australian magnesium oil helps alleviate fatigue associated with high stress.
Improved Sleep Quality: Magnesium, such as GABA, influences neurotransmitters that regulate sleep. Applying magnesium oil before sleep can improve sleep quality, leading to better rest and enhanced daytime energy.
Relieving Muscle Fatigue and Soreness
Australian magnesium oil offers significant benefits for individuals engaged in physical activities or experiencing muscle soreness. Magnesium assists in muscle relaxation by regulating calcium uptake, which can reduce post-exercise soreness and expedite recovery. Regularly applying magnesium oil to tired muscles can lead to noticeable improvements in comfort and mobility.
Cognitive Function and Mental Clarity
Fatigue extends beyond physical symptoms to affect cognitive functions such as memory and concentration. Magnesium is essential for optimal brain function, and deficiencies can lead to mental fatigue and reduced cognitive performance. Australian magnesium oil can enhance mental clarity and focus by ensuring adequate magnesium levels for neurological health.
Why Choose Australian Magnesium Oil?
Among the various magnesium oil products available, Australian magnesium oil is distinguished by its purity and efficacy. Sourced from ancient seabeds in Australia, it contains high-quality magnesium chloride, which is readily absorbed through the skin. This product is free from synthetic additives, making it a preferred choice for individuals seeking a natural and effective solution to energy and fatigue issues.
Optimal Usage of Magnesium Oil
To maximise the benefits of Australian magnesium oil, follow these guidelines:
Apply to clean, dry skin, preferably after a shower, to enhance absorption.
Target areas with thin skin (e.g., wrists, feet) or sore muscles for localised relief.
Start with a small amount and adjust as needed. A mild tingling sensation may occur initially but generally subsides with regular use.
Conclusion
Australian magnesium oil offers a promising solution for those struggling with fatigue and low energy. Its role in energy production, muscle recovery, and cognitive function makes it a valuable addition to any wellness regimen. You can effectively combat fatigue and restore vitality by incorporating Australian magnesium oil into your daily routine.
