Bean hails from the Galar Region, with her hometown being in Wedgehurst. As a child she participated in the Galarian feat known as the Gym Challenge and faced off with the various Gym Leaders within the region. Now that her skills have improved and she can hold her own in a Pokemon battle, Bean is training with her old opponents in order to become the first one to open a Dual-Type gym within Galar, claiming that a need of more variety and throwing curve-balls at the participants within the Gym Challenge was needed and so she worked to open a Dual-Type Gym at the heart of the Slumbering Weald.

During her Gym Challenge pre-game test, the Gym Challenger is required to catch 5 Pokemon using only an Electric Type or a Water Type to battle. If the Gym Challenger does not have either typing on their team, they can choose between using a Mudkip or a Dedenne in order to complete the test. The testing arena is set up almost like a hamster maze, but is also underwater. The challenger must catch all 5 Pokemon and make their way to the end before making it to the end of the maze, and only then will be allowed to proceed to battle her directly.

Out of all other Gym Leaders, Bean gets along with Milo the best. They both have the same fondness for treating Pokemon well and ensuring they're healthy and happy. The Gym Leader that she headbutts with the most (figuratively) would be Melony's son, Gordie.

During the chaos caused by Chairman Rose, Bean ensured that Wedgehurst wasn't left unattended while other towns such as Motostoke and Chirchester were being aided by their respective Gym Leaders due to the Pokemon in the surrounding areas randomly Dynamaxing.

Nice to meet all of you! I'm Calliope Amery, but you can just call me Calli. I'm a small designer and Elite 4 member in the Galar region (for those of you who don't know, Galar is trying out having an elite 4 now). My store is located in Hammerlock. I started this because my friend @quillpokebiology really wanted me to, and I might as well grace you all with my presence ;)

Earl- (Antique form) Polteageist

Earl was my first pokemon. They were a gift to me from my parents when I was 5, and they've helped me get through a lot. They're a big troublemaker, though.

Pomegranite- Tsareena

I caught Pomegranite as a bounsweet in the garden near my house when I first started my journey. She's sassy and has a tendency to be a bit rude to challengers...

Arthur- Aegislash

Found him when @quillpokebiology dragged me into an ancient ruin to explore. Quill grabbed him, thinking he was a random sword, and they almost got their soul taken. He tried to kill them, but I battled him and caught him before he could do that.

Aphrodite-Milotic

I caught Aphrodite as a feebas in one if the lakes. I heard how rare feebas was and immediately caught her. What's interesting about Aphrodite is that she's a crossbreed of a Milotic and Dragonite, so she has pretty gold scales.

I mostly use Aster as a ride pokemon, but I sometimes add her to my team because she enjoys battling.

He was actually the third pokemon I caught, and he helped me a lot during my journey, but he isn't part of my main team.

my galarian fairy type gym leader oc! in this au she won opal’s challenge and became gym leader, leaving bede to sulk with no redemption arc. we don’t need him. 

my goofy brief little lore explanation is that juniper as a kid wasn’t really interested in pokemon battling. after school one evening, she encountered a stray eevee who approached her with excitement; she couldn’t help but bring her home. she didn’t do much battling with her eevee, simply hanging out and cuddling. in a few months, to her delight and surprise, she evolved into a sylveon! inspired by her partner’s new form, juniper decided to take on battling with her sylveon, focusing on fairy type pokemon like her best friend :)

"Get rid of that thing." The Moltres only said staring at the newly discovered Destino in front of them all - Static also raised around them as the Zapdos huffed out getting defensive

"Already on it dont have to tell me twice ~ " the bird hummed her ponytail just floated gracefully with power behind her as she stared at Destino like a little prey rattata

"Does that mean there's more of them around? Were we tricked?" He asked looking around suspiciously now feathers on ear's flicking up and down not knowing what to trust now and what to do

The articuno paused and before all bird's eyes the absol was gone After few second's when Destino opened their eye's they were floating in dark space with no life around or even a single planet just stars or were they just sparkles? someone cleared their throat just behind the young royal

The hands sighed deeply after sending the absol into their universe seemingly looking around as the hands shifted around "Mmmh,,, I guess then its time to send you back where we left off huh? Back to the pissy 'eon" they opened up a another portal "It was fun while it lasted - I hope to see you again, or not ~ Not sure heh"
