Recently, I was commissioned to draw my characters from an #lgtb satire of a #beautyandthebeast short story I illustrated back in 2004 with my good friend and writer @pinkpoprx. We created it for a web series (later printed as an anthology) by our good friend @timfishworks called #youngbottomsinlove! It was my first project out of college, so it was a real surprise treat to have someone hire me to create this cute scenario he dreamed up of the two main characters. Endor was alive with people -humans, aliens, anyone and everyone celebrating the fall of the Empire. Luke lost count of how many strangers had pulled him into a hug or outright kissed him in happiness. He smiled, amused, when another person bumped into him and then hugged him, shouting about how this was an important victory for them before running off into the mob of people.

"Been happenin' to you a lot, kid?"

Luke perked up and twisted to look at the speaker. Han Solo stood behind him, hands shoved in his pockets, looking casual if not a bit mussed up. Luke turned completely to face him and nodded.

"I'd be surprised if it wasn't happening," Luke admitted, grinning at Han. "Although I'd love if people stopped kissing me."

Han's expression darkened for a moment before he was back to smiling easily.

"Of course people are kissin' you, kid," he said. Luke cocked his head curiously and Han stepped toward him. "You are the pride of the Rebellion. Everyone wants a piece of you."

At that, Luke laughed, covering his mouth in surprise. Him? Everyone wanted a piece of him? Yeah, right! What a joke! "Han!" laughed Luke, shaking his head as his shoulders shuddered with the laughter he tried to suppress. It didn't work, and Luke stood there, slightly hunched as he laughed.

"What!" exclaimed Han defensively. "It's true! How you don't see the way most of these people have looked at you... How oblivious are you, kid?"

Shoulders still shaking, Luke looked up at Han. His eyes sparkled with amusement and his grin was wide, face splitting.

"No one looks at me in any special way, Han," Luke told him firmly, although it was somewhat ruined by the happiness still in his face and voice.

Han rolled his eyes. "Everyone here does," he insisted. "Everyone."

Still grinning, Luke asked, "Everyone, Han?" Han looked away abruptly and Luke's grin widened. Before either of them could say anything, though, someone bumped into Luke and hugged him.

"We were victorious!" the man shouted, pulling away. He grabbed Luke's face in his hands and gave him a quick kiss. "We defeated the Empire!"

Shouting happily, the man stumbled off and Luke gave an affectionate sigh, wiping his mouth off on the back of his hand.

"He was drunk," Luke said to Han who was glaring in the direction the man walked off. "And he's not the first stranger to kiss me tonight." Luke shrugged. "Like I said, no one looks at me in any special way."

"You're an idiot!" Han exclaimed, tearing his dark gaze from the crowd. "I look at you in-" As immediately as Han had said it, he stopped speaking, eyes wide, mouth slack as he realized what he'd said.

Luke blinked once, then again, and his grin came back as Han continued to look dumbfounded by his own words. Luke took a step forward, and then another, and he cupped Han's cheeks in his palms.

"You're the one being an idiot," Luke teased. Han snapped his jaw shut and he audibly and visibly swallowed. "Their kisses mean nothing to me. It's not a big deal."

"You shouldn't let random people kiss you," Han tried weakly, and Luke raised his eyebrows, that teasing grin never fading.

"Well, alright," he agreed easily. "But in exchange, you have to kiss me."

Luke laughed loudly when Han's jaw dropped and he released the smuggler's face, stepping back to give him space. It was Luke's turn, then, to be surprised because the moment he shifted away, Han's hands shot out to pull him back in.

"Since you asked," Han said, and Luke could only grin into the kiss that followed.

2: what’s your absolute favorite and least favorite episode?

cheeseburger backpack is singlehandedly THE most underrated episode of steven’s university. the animation was PEAK, the humor was so real and organic, and steven’s characterization was top notch– and pearl!! loved steven so much in that episode!! the way she held onto him and shielded him and AH, and now she just?? seems so condescendingly apathetic towards him?? anyway i love cheeseburger backpack and i consider it the standard for su episodes.

least fave episode would be?? uhhh, rocknaldo probably. what a piece of shit. literally what was the point.

7: what’s your least favorite theory or fanon

aquamarine and topaz have shitty designs to reflect that homeworld is running low on resources or some shit, like it’s bad character design don’t give the writers credit for something that could be that interesting.
